I found it interesting that the declinist side seemed unable to make a good argument for relative decline, and instead had to rely on a collapse of the whole global system.
I also found the inability to respond to arguments about the federal debt by the for side a bit disappointing. The U.S. borrows at negative interest rates, and I don't see how bankruptcy is possible when that is the case.
I also don't see the great divide on immigration, or really why it's a huge deal. When immigrants have reached a certain point, the U.S. has consistently simply amnestied them. This is kicking the can down the road, but it is also probably the best policy for making effective use of the advantages immigration gives the United States.
