Deadpool and Wolverine That's just feels right. Trust me, kid. I'm no hero. You You were an X-Man you were the X-Man Welcome back everyone, It's Charlie There were so many new cameo scenes in the new Deadpool
and Wolverine trailer Marvel just revealed a couple more Like we're just scratching the surface here some of the new ones they just announced were expected
and some are super deep cuts So we'll break it all down in what
they're actually doing in the movie. It looks like they're using a lot of the cameos
to fix one of the major issues people have with Doctor Strange, Multiverse of Madness,
in the way they used all their cameo scenes to. If you're brand new to the channel,

and Wolverine press tour. Expect a lot of craziness in the best possible way
from both Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. how tantalizingly vague. And thank God Mr. Blake Lively is not I. Oh, God, I don't feel well. what the fan. Oh, you know the budget for this Cobra. But during the last big trailer, we saw more of
the villain in the movie Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova. They didn't totally explain what she was doing
on the Void Planet from the Loki series. That's so dangerous that the TVA has to have Deadpool
stop her for them, instead of them just doing themselves,
but they gave us enough clues to figure it out. I talked a little bit about this in my last video. The whole idea is that Cassandra
Nova is the evil twin of professor X, born with the exact same
powers, exact same power level. And it seems like she's from a timeline inside
the X-Men universe. Like all the X-Men movies where Deadpool comes from in her Nexus event
that got her pruned was just being born at all. Kind of like what happened with Sylvie
during the Loki series. She was just born a female Loki in the TVA
pruned her on the spot because of that simple fact. Before she'd actually done anything at all. and because professor X is
one of the most powerful telepaths in the universe, that means Cassandra
Nova also has the exact same power level. She's incredibly powerful,
even without all the extra toys that she gets, all the other weapons
she gets on the Void Planet. but on the void planet,
because of the way things get pruned and sent there. That's up. This already there. That's very powerful. she's been able to use her power of telepathy
to gain control of a life who is like the ultimate weapon in the multiverse. he who remains version of King
was able to use it to win the first King Multiverse War and kill all the other Kings because it's capable
of consuming entire timelines, entire universes. It's basically a galactic trash compactor
for the entire multiverse. Like RIP multiverse. How many other ways are we going to threaten
the multiverse heading into Secret Wars? Like we have the incursions destroying universes
now we also have Elias to worry about. But after that first King Multiverse War,
he remains just sent Elijah to the Void Planet to just sit there and consume anything that he had
pruned over the millions of years after that. cut to present day. Since Cassandra Nova has been pruned,
it seems like she used her power of telepathy to gain control of her life, and plans to use it
to consume the rest of the universes out there. They don't bend to her well, including the TVA itself. R.I.P multiverse again. and while she's been doing that,
she's been putting together her own band of variants made of mostly Fox Marvel characters, X-Men,
fantastic Four, some Punisher movie characters. I've already talked about some of those cameos in
my last big video, so I'll link it at the end of this. sort of like her own evil
twist on the X-Men and professor X, but mad Max style. And they're using weapons, gear, vehicles, Easter eggs from all the other Marvel movies,
not just the Fox Marvel movies. some of them, like this Iron Man
variant of the Red skull car are from MCU movies. We also have the giant dead
Ant-Man in the Doctor Strange sling rings. So that's only part of it. Cassandra, Nova collecting all these artifacts
as they get pruned and sent to the Void Planet. Like all the most powerful weapons, she's collecting
kind of like toys. But part of the way
they're fixing all the cameo scenes here in the movie is by making them a much bigger,
more important part of the plot than other cameos. And Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness. That's why you probably been seeing people refer to this movie
as the better version of Multiverse of Madness. Like this is what that movie should have been. we've already talked about a lot of the evil X-Men team
worth of cameos going on here. There's so much stuff going on here,
but there's going to be another group of cameo scenes on the Void Planet full of characters
not being controlled by Cassandra Nova. some of the new cameos. Not all of them,
but some of them that they've revealed are extras. 23 Gambit in Elektra from the Ben Affleck
Daredevil movie They're supposed to be part of a resistance
force of variants trying to stop Cassandra Nova from leaving the Void Planet
with Alliance and conquering the multiverse. these might not be the only other variants
that form that resistance force on the void, but so far, they're the only ones
Marvel has revealed beyond the Deadpool core. Like, we know the Deadpool core will exist
during the movie, but it sounds like there are a separate group. in way back during the Loki series,
they explained, the void is such a massive place. It's mostly full of Loki's,
along with all kinds of Marvel characters. But during season one, they reveal the person
who gets pruned most often in the multiverse is Loki. So odds are you run into a variant on the void plan. It's more likely to be a Loki than any other character. but because we already got two seasons of Loki. We already saw a bunch of Loki variants. They're just using this opportunity in Deadpool
and Wolverine to show you some of the other variants. Like, it'd be weird if Cassandra Nova's
Band of X-Men was just a bunch of Loki variants. but during the trailer, there's a scene where
the main version of Wolverine, Hugh Jackman is playing. He's meant to be a variant is sitting around
what looks like a campfire. None the worse for wear. Like he looks like crap. He just got his butt kicked somewhere
and he says, kid, I'm no hero. Trust me, kid. I'm no hero. Very clearly he's talking to someone who is a kid. Even though a lot of people have pointed out Wolverine
is a very old person because of his healing factor. So technically everybody around him is a kid. But notice he doesn't refer to Deadpool in other parts
of the trailer as a kid or as a young person. He just refers to him as a lady,
Look, lady, I'm not interested. which is a joke in a reference to a couple other things
in its own right, but not him being a kid, he's probably talking to someone here
who could actually be a kid. It's not totally clear
when this scene happens in the movie, either before or after this big battle scene
where Deadpool and Wolverine take the minivan to the dead Ant-Man base
and then jump through the swing ring portal, escaping that could also be
a totally misleading edit from Marvel. They could trailers to be misleading all the time. So no big surprise if the movie does not go down
the way they show you in the trailer. but the theory is that during this campfire scene,
the main Wolverine variant that Hugh Jackman is playing in the movie winds up learning about the original main
version of Wolverine from the Logan movie. Who died to protect X-23, died a true hero. so the theory is that the kid that he's talking to
here is a version of X-23, played by Daphne Keene. in her story of what happened to her
during the events of the Logan movie are meant to inspire him like, oh, he can be a hero,
even though he was a failure earlier in his life. also kind of pointing out the joke here is
it is Hugh Jackman inspiring Hugh Jackman, like,
oh, I'm inspired by a better version of myself. this also confirmed that the older X-23
that Daphne Keene will be playing. They went on to have her own adventures after the events of the Logan movie,
before she caused the Nexus event, then became a variant, got pruned herself
in sort of fighting against Sandra Nova. Daphne Keene also just did a whole
season of the Star Wars Acolyte show for Disney. She's playing a Jedi Padawan called Jackie. Lot. We're actually going to see those episodes pretty soon. that's a totally different story universe. Unless you want to believe Peyton Oswald's
filibuster idea that they crossover star Wars with Marvel,
which they could actually do now. there was a legit X-23 solo movie that they were working on for her that would have been
a sequel to the events of the Logan movie. the next member of X-23 resistance group here
is supposed to be Channing Tatum's version of Gambit. For those of you who wanted to see live action
Gambit again, I don't know if Taylor Kitsch is Gambit from Wolverine
Origins is going to be in the movie. Most of the talk here is just on Channing Tatum
having a Gambit scene. But he's one of the super deep cuts in the movie
because technically, he was never a gambit on screen. He was just Gambit for a little while
because his movie never actually got made. He was going to make a Gambit solo movie
that would have spun out of X-Men apocalypse. that's what that X-Men apocalypse post-credits scene with Mister Sinister and Wolverine's
blood was all about. X X Corp is meant to be a reference to Nathaniel Essex,
aka mister sinister. he's been heavily featured during this season of X-Men
97, is one of the main villains, with bastion. At the time,
the Gambit movie was going to be an origin story, and it would have explained the Channing Tatum's
version of the character grew up working for Mister Sinister as part of the Marauders,
which is based on some comic book backstory. Just the timing is a little bit different. Gambit actually did work for Mister Sinister
as part of the Marauders, But that was after he'd been one of Apocalypse's
Four Horsemen. part of the reason why we never actually saw that movie
is that at the time they were making it, like when it was in development,
it wasn't a huge priority for Fox. Like they didn't think
it was going to make a lot of money. They didn't care about it that much. several directors came and went. The script changed a bunch of times,
and enough time went by that the Fox Disney buyout started
and essentially killed all future X-Men movies. Other Marvel movies
that Fox was working on at the time. so that's
why you never saw the Channing Tatum Gambit movie? It sounds like it could have been pretty decent. the other connection here
to Ryan Reynolds in real life, is it just like Chris Evans
having the cameo scene during free Guy? Channing Tatum did the same thing in free Guy. He had a small cameo scene with him, and supposedly
they became friends in real life. Through that. So you just have to picture Channing Tatum
with his best Cajun accent. this is way, way back at Comic-Con,
you actually saw Channing Tatum with the other X-Men characters on stage
doing a big presentation for their Marvel movies. fun fact two in the background, if you zoom in, enhance
here, you can see Channing Tatum being like the only person on stage here
to turn and help Stan Lee, who was very old at the time off the stage because it looked like
he had trouble walking off stage on his own. crazy that you have this giant stage
full of Marvel X-Men characters in Channing Tatum, who hasn't had a movie yet, is, like,
the only person to go help Stan Lee of all people. everybody in the movie is supposed to be doing
slightly more comic book accurate costumes. maybe they'll give us a more accurate gambit suit to. of course. There's lots of talk about Gambit going on right now
because of what happened with him during X-Men 97. Don't worry, we will talk more about Gambit
in the next three episodes, because there's only a couple left in season one of 97. the other member of this X 23 resistance group
we learned about is Jennifer Garner's Elektra from the Ben Affleck Daredevil movie. supposedly Ben Affleck was spotted on set
while they were filming, but I think he was just there to visit Jennifer Garner with their kids
while she was filming her cameo scenes. I don't think he's actually in the movie. the Elektra movie was long enough ago
that some of you might be young enough watching this video to have not seen the movie. It's going to be like a new rite of passage
for everyone going to see Deadpool and Wolverine. Like new challenge. Watch all the Marvel movies
that all these cameos in the movie come from. back in the day when Fox made the Elektra movie,
it was meant to be a sequel, a prequel of sorts to her version of the character
in the Daredevil movie, in at the time. And it's still kind of a practice
today is they always plan for trilogies. So before the Elektra movie bombed hard,
there were sequels that they had planned to that. if you look at this Marvel movie announcement of plans, these are the Marvel movies that they had announced
were happening back in 2004. So this is like the MCU before the actual MCU existed. It's 2004 to 2006 and some undated movies beyond that. you look at all these movies, this is just some of
the energy they're going for with all the Easter eggs and references in Deadpool and Wolverine,
like Deadpool kills the Fox Marvel Universe. And a lot of it just draws on all the stuff
that was in all the stuff that never was
or never came to pass, that they planned on. some of these movies
kind of blow your mind, though, like 2005 Iron Man. He looks totally different. What's going on here? Don't worry,
we will explain this. this version of Spider-Man here is in Tobey Maguire. Spider-Man. Even though Spider-Man three is listed
under the undated movies at the bottom. this is just meant to be a fan taking his own picture
here in cosplay, in front of the standee. everybody noticed some of these plans though. 2004 was the Thomas Jane Punisher movie. I already explained
there's some cameo scenes in Deadpool and Wolverine from that movie in my last big video,
so I'll link that at the end of this. Spider-Man two. Of course. They just rereleased in theaters this past week. It's total pizza time. there was a Man-Thing movie that totally got canceled. There's not a lot of details about what
that would have looked like, but we just saw Man-Thing show up during Werewolf by Night in the MCU,
so he's canon now. blade. Trinity we saw we also saw Ryan Reynolds in that movie. That was before his Deadpool days,
even before Wolverine Origins. lot of people wondering if we're going to see
Wesley Snipes Blade show up in the movie. It's totally possible. But the last we heard Ryan Reynolds
talking about blade, Trinity, or Wesley Snipes Blade at all,
he didn't sound like he was a super big fan. Maybe they buried the hatchet. Since then, it's been a long time
since that movie came out and if you think about it, the MCU,
even the Fox Marvel movies would not exist without the success
of the initial Wesley Snipes Blade movie. Like, it's the thing that really started out,
all these modern Marvel movies. we all saw the Elektra movie. Unfortunately, the first Fantastic Four movie,
this 2005 Iron Man movie here was actually the Tom Cruise Iron Man. That almost happened before Robert Downey
Jr's version of Iron Man in the MCU. In fact, Robert Downey
Jr was actually testing to be Doctor Doom in the first fantastic Four movie before it came out,
way before he ever tested for Iron Man. it. Think about how different that would have been. Like, honestly,
I think it went down the way it was supposed to. He was born to play Iron Man. I think his Doctor Doom would have been interesting,
but his version of Iron Man vastly, vastly superior to that. So I'm totally fine with the way things played out. of course, there were all the Tom cruise reports
about him being superior Iron Man during Doctor Strange multiverse of Madness. The way he talked about it,
there was a conflict with him filming the Mission Impossible movies at the time,
which is why that never wound up coming to pass. we all saw X-Men Last Stand. There's a bunch of cameo scenes and Easter eggs
from that movie. In the Deadpool and Wolverine trailer
I talked about in my last big video, this name war movie totally got canceled, but we also just saw
Namor in Black Panther Wakanda Forever in the MCU. this was that first Nicolas Cage
Ghost Rider movie for the undated Marvel movies. Here, though, we saw Tobey Maguire Spider-Man in 2007. this Silver Surfer solo movie
would have been a spin off to the second Fantastic Four movie that was canceled
after they elected to put him in Fantastic Four, too. In that movie, underperformed. there was an early Nick Fury movie
before the Samuel L Jackson version of the character, but they never cast an actor for this particular movie,
so no idea who this version would have been. there couple movies
that are covered up by Spider-Man's, but here. But one of them that we can see was Ben Affleck's
Daredevil, too. Self-explanatory. It would have just been a sequel
to the first Daredevil movie. not totally sure
which movies are above it and below it. If you think you know what those two are right up
below in the comments. there was the early Captain America movie
pre Chris Evans, when he was still firmly in the middle
of being Johnny Storm for the Fantastic Four movies. I've already done a video about him
also showing up in Deadpool and Wolverine. and this Deathlok movie totally got canceled too,
but they did eventually wind up doing a version of that character
during agents of Shield. Not really expecting any agents of Shield cameos
during Deadpool and Wolverine. But eventually some of those characters
will probably show back up in the MCU in some form. we'll probably see a couple more cameo scenes
in the next couple of Deadpool and Wolverine trailers. So at some point I will do a video for, like,
all the Marvel movies that got canceled over the years that they're referencing during Deadpool
and Wolverine, it's going to be a lot like there were a lot of movies that just never wound
up coming to pass for different reasons. Over the years. so just expect a ton of deep cuts. There's a bunch of big stuff coming up X-Men 97 is going to have a three part finale
