nailed that that was pretty close um a lot of things happened uh party met babylon they also experimented with alchemy specifically they created a genesis shard which is very important and potent and probably will be referenced again throughout the campaign and they finished their mission dealing with the raised skeletons and the necromancer there within and after finishing some much needed rnr they are now ready to head back to the iron ah and then brian met that that babylon yes sorry i i saw daddy lawn and babylon that did happen yes and she received a scroll in which she was tasked with uh given a task in which she had to kill a certain individual an individual by the name of vesavan talisman oh we had to kill him this [Music] who's the better looking demonic dude babylon okay all the last of its life force gallant concerned will stop the carriage and will step out off of the horse and move towards the cages she will look to ear and say druid that's something you need to deal with what she'll uh unlock the wagon and allow all of you off what happened come along and she'll lead you up to here and you will see this creature wounded across the road whoa oh that looks around there you go i see it now yeah sorry about that oh wow all right it's a lot of legs okay so let me give you a let me give you a description of what this creature is the preacher lies wounded across the road it essentially is a long uh almost snake-like lizard beast like a dragon but not quite like a dragon it doesn't have wings it has horns and teeth and it has i believe eight legs so four different sets and it courses with a with a slight feeling of lightning and you know what it is because you're a druid it is a bahir it is a uh it is a natural creature of the world and it has been wounded and you may now choose how you wish to deal with that oh it's a here and it's wounded wow letting the party your wisdom astounds me druid yes yes indeed um i could try to heal it whoa whoa whoa what if it tries to hurt us i think yeah he rewarded us with our kindness of freeing him remember i thought we shot him in the head with an arrow too maybe we should shoot this one in there can we can i speak to the here does it oh right yeah you might yeah you can get close yeah if this is all you do whatever you want as you get closer to the be here i used to be okay i think i want to yourself okay you you yourself can choose to do it or you could ask brian to do it okay i mean well the idea is that um it's either the druid can attempt a medicine or nature check or brian can attempt a medicine or nature check with advantage because a damper is better at that kind of thing sucking yes okay brian already been sucking it's my turn by all means no for the sake of the creature i think brian should be able to do that do you want do you want to help this creature brian it might benefit us afterwards possibly with kindness this has eyes enough yes i will i will suck okay okay good thing that's good all right with simple efficiency air begins to tend to the wound sucks the poison from the blood spitting it out and she continues this process until she's cleared out most of the blood she then patches the wound and it seems that the bahir has recovered somewhat it is still wounded and cannot move from the road but it is no longer at death's door [Music] i will then speak that there is a strange inscription on it a a rune or symbol oh um our rune shirley ken yes yes can you read what's this yep let me do it i already got the arcana check open yeah you do like an arcana check yep go ahead go ahead i already got it open all right this is what you know as you take a closer look at the rune you realize that this is a draconic rune etched into the creature scale not by its own hand but by one of your craft it's unclear as to how long the mark has been there or even why it was put there but what is clear is that this is an opportunity to experiment so as you may have read in the notes that i sent you um you will have the ability to combine magical effects in order to experiment with new runes with the bahir rune you now have an option to do one of three experiments you may create an offensive effect a defensive effect or a utility effect which would you like to attempt to make what is an example of a utility effect would be something like um enhancing movement or uh other forms of mobility it could also be healing 100 the mobility or or utility effect yes all right you got it all right so you have you have the scale in front of you and now you have several other runes that you can attempt to place with it you can attempt just to do your basic rune magic and just do a basic effect which is safer and has a less chance of it to actually fail or you can use another potent piece of uh potent piece of paraphernalia like one of the various ingredients that you have in your pockets as well so the alchemy basically you can use yeah yeah [Music] okay so if i want to use like one of the safer magics uh what are the options that i have i have a list open right now yep you have your basic spell casting which is cure wounds false life jump and long strider which are the ones you have oh yeah oh long strider that looks sick with jump could i jump even further [Music] long strider is a movement effect right it is you know what let's go with long strider long strider it is alrighty then here we go make me an arcana check as you combine the runes together hello map tools oh wait looks like map tools is having a small stroke um all right all right with an 11 you begin to you begin to combine the rune and the ingredient together with your own magic you begin to forge it and unlock its hidden potency because you've chosen a basic piece of magic that does not fail so what you're able to create is the ride the lightning rune okay all right that does ride the lightning does this uh you may once per short rest make a dash action which means you use your action to run and when you do so every enemy that you move through the adjacent square of you deal 2d6 lightning damage too that's [ __ ] badass it's like me nato from naruto sick all right wait yeah i can just use that like constantly once per short rest once for short rest okay okay okay okay got it all right what is the movement like tiles for that uh the movement for that is you use your dash action so it's 30 feet okay badass there you go awesome i'm gonna now you have that away now you have that rune on your shell and you can use it once for how do we get through this is everybody loaded yeah what's up what are the classes can you like have dual classes or no uh you can multi-class yeah multiple times yeah yeah there's there's rules for that you can multi-class uh to multi-class you have to have the sufficient stats for it and you have to find a trainer and a bunch of other stuff but it's possible yeah okay all right so gallant will the horses about this far in the mudslide here the next part is pretty intense so you're going to have to use your powers to get them through there me okay i'm gonna try to to do something helpful with my water abilities well you use your water bending and you're able to push out a little bit and move the mud creating a pretty decent path about 10 feet wide to the thickest and most dangerous part of the mudslide you're able to hold it for only a few a few minutes at most and gallant which is to not waste that opportunity and starts to move the horses through it however oh oh oh no
