DAY IN MY LIFE WITH A NEW PUPPY | DOG VLOG

hey nova good morning good morning wow oh it is so early holy crap it's 8 40. i'm sleeping and then i hear little feet running somehow she has escaped her playpen this has happened before i still need to figure out how but she did it nova come here good girl drop it good girl why do you keep going in that room silly girl [Music] oh my god this is why you watch where you go she hit my desk are you okay you're a crazy pupper go get it no you hurt yourself oh i think so i think so oh yeah does that feel good are you falling asleep shall we go eat should we go eat you're so cute [Music] all right so i am just about to feed nova breakfast it is 9 19 right now um this is just the raw food that i'm giving her right now today she's having chicken but we sometimes alternate with beef um so yeah this is just a a portion that she'll eat later for lunch and then i also took out the frozen one um to defrost for dinner but yes this is her breakfast she's gonna eat this so fast it is unbelievable how fast she eats just watch come on nova nova sit wait wait [Music] i'm pretty sure she's done and she's just licking the bowl she eats so fast it is insane yeah she's definitely done so nova is not used to the fact that someone else is here other than me and my mom so she's just sitting outside in the hall because mama is here to visit and she's not used to that nova it's okay come here they met [Music] is how about we put you in your crate huh [Music] it is two o'clock um nova just woke up from a nap with so much energy so we're gonna play a little bit do a little bit of training and then it should be lunchtime [Music] yeah good girl nova [Music] when my mother was pregnant with me they did an ultrasound about she was having twins [Music] [Music] hey um a few years ago my family was on a spark a cousin was um [Laughter] she was eating like a dragonfly oh my god that's not what i thought she ate let's do some more training oh mama spin spin and sit high five good girl touch good girl can you sit can you down bang yes good girl good job [Music] spin sit and down good girl and down roll over yes good girl good job nova wait wait okay good girl good job we just tried this one earlier for like the first time ever let's see if she'll do it again nova wait wait okay good girl good job so i like to train nova multiple times a day and keep the training sessions short sometimes i do like formal training sessions kind of like how i'm doing right now other times i'll just be playing with her or it'll just be like spur of the moment i just want to test her to see if she listens so yeah right now we're just having some fun and she's learning new tricks that i'm actually surprised she's doing so what else should we try you're so smart but another tip i have before you start training your dog is to make sure that they are properly exercised because if they have too much energy then they're not going to listen to you they just want to play so that's why i made sure to play with her for a little bit beforehand scent wait okay good girl good job stay yes good girl good job good girl nova wait okay yes good girl good job stay i pushed it there i waited a little bit longer and she wasn't ready for it so let's try again sit nova stay so this time i'm not gonna wait as long yes good girl good job that's another tip for you guys when you're training your dog you want to set your dog up for success so if they fail tweak it to make it a little bit easier because you want to reward them for what they do right and then slowly work your way up to a harder level wait okay good girl so we've been having a pretty chill day so far um we woke up played with nova we took her on a little bit of a walk um and now she's having lunch we did a little bit of training that's really basically all my day really consists of with nova like just a lot of play a lot of training um but i do make sure to be consistent with my training and do multiple sessions a day just to keep her on top of it and also just like impromptu um training sessions not super formal ones just to keep her on her toes um and to really test her in real life scenarios so yeah i try to brush nova once a day oh she hears the car that's what my mom's car does when she comes home but she's not home yet but yeah i try to brush her at least once a day just to make sure there's no maps because that can be really irritating for them and if you ever want to get your dog groomed you know and it's just better just brush your dog guys it doesn't take that long get them used to it better to get them used to it than not so yeah she doesn't really like it sometimes she like tries to bite or like i have to give her something to chew on while i do it but whatever you gotta do to make it happen just try your best nova good girl wait wait wait okay not really it's okay it's because mama new year's feeding you right and she's done nova honey you eat so fast so so fast it's crazy you ate it all what are
