hey guys hey guys oh my it has been a while it has been a while i'm so so ready for this one i uh i don't know how you feel about it but um i've missed these i'm very very very ready to get back into streaming new microphone new intro new me 3000 days video is out it was a long month of editing i spent a good three weeks just uh editing full time it was kinda kinda nuts i worked a lot of nights until four am five am 6 30 one time it's uh it was it was kind of crazy but it was so so worth it let's uh let's just get right into it all of you all of you say first donation of the year 3000 days now and every time we went through air it was the standard thing so today we're gonna start by mining this out a little bit and as soon as we mine it out we're gonna start decorating and uh i was i was thinking of materials for here i think for this one i really like warped wood no print one not warped crimson music is too loud uh queen could you verify that for me i could uh could bring it down a little bit if you want to i can also turn the mic up a little bit because new mic and a new uh sound card actually so i can uh i can just give it a little more gain but that might corrupt the sound a little bit though there's a balancing act still finding it out kind of laggy so not it's one of the very last streams that is going to be kind of laggy because i uh i invested in a new computer and because at the point where i die we are gonna get that uh we're gonna get that world download for you guys and you get to explore this world for yourself and i will start a video series that i've been thinking about for months now on how to make it but i do hope that i don't have to make a series soon because if i could survive in this world for a good few years i would love it oh love this song phil because he's the one that got me into uh well into hardcore but also into taking minecraft seriously because hardcore for me gets the game to a different level just uh not because of the things you accomplished but because of the intensity and uh it feels so satisfying knowing that you did everything in one go and you could potentially lose it creeper dive bomber over here just gonna mine this because there's gonna be a lot more gravel falling down around this area so i will seal up the top in one go rather than doing it every block let's investigate where this is coming from oh that four hundred game days but it feels up that is the longest run i know about there could be longer runs but we should also note that phil's run he did a lot there he did an afk he was just working and he made a crazy world etiquette place people in s p progress so much that is awesome to see that people are getting better uh queen could you repeat that one for me and that comment was by juliana i for a long time if i die it's season over uh well yes because i won't play the world after i die it doesn't make sense to me then i should have never started on hardcore but also i like the idea that at some point this is over i don't i don't think i want to have this world forever i want to uh to have the opportunity to start a new one at some point i feel like we are about to be ambushed by a back to youtube thank you very much for the 2 30. i had a i had a really good holiday i um i spent a lot of time editing like a lot of time i think that video took over 150 hours of just pure editing but i feel like every minute of that was worth it and i'm really excited to get back into the streams now too funny gamer how many gold enchanted golden apples do i have still six i think six in the museum and right now i uh up to this point i found 12 in total i think okay let me double check if all the measurements are right for the room this looks good this looks good um that means we're gonna dig it down now what are the specs of the new pc uh it has a i9 intel processor in there it has a rtx 3 30 80 video card uh 32 gigabytes of ram a terabyte ssd with a four terabyte hard disk basically it's uh it's fairly beastly i'm really looking forward to getting it nipple and that is awesome thank you very much it's such a compliment uh put this one there peruvian mapping yeah sounds like a great idea to do that i i think that if i would start a new world i wouldn't bring any of the old builds over though i would uh to me it would feel like a blank canvas like like a chance to do it took a lot of time but i uh i think i i will never regret that video in any way just like the 2000 days i i did the edit i knew i could do better in the future if i just had more time and more practice with editing uh but even so i was just really happy with the effort that i put in and the amount of time i took to get it right same for this one i'm really really happy with the way it turned out and it was a it was a special effort it felt cool many nights editing to 4am 5am even 6 30 am one night i did sleep plenty though i would just sleep till 11 or 12. but i i like editing in the night because it's uh it's quiet hours it's easy time to work let's put all of these away [Music] how much total footage was in 3000 days i like that question um it was at this point the entire uh recording batch that i had pre-sorted for the 3000 days video was 887 gigabytes of footage uh by now the full full raw footage for the world is somewhere around six terabytes i i have been buying new hard disks to store it but i really wanted to in the beginning i didn't really have the storage and i didn't even know if i was gonna do youtube for a long time because i just wanted to give it a try but i uh i started because it was a weird year and i needed to do something else than my usual job because it wasn't possible with kovit so in the beginning i didn't have to search and i threw footage away every now and then i would keep the things that were important edit it into episodes and then get rid of the raw footage and then at some point i realized that i just wanted to have all the footage from the world so right now i have some backup hard disks where i'm i'm leaving the old footage after the edits and if i ever need to go back to it it's sorted on the date that it was recorded can i do a manga stream i literally i've played one game of among us so far i think it's an awesome game but i i just want to play hardcore minecraft and that's it i'll get into more games in the future but uh give me a year or so to get this world to the point where i'm dreaming it should be george tdm will i make start making stream highlights i i need an editor for it uh someone that has the time to do it because it takes a lot of time if i'm streaming every day of the week that is a good whoa this is kind of cool i i feel like we should leave that i wasn't expecting to dig into the library but i i feel like we should keep that just to keep the character of the of the stronghold alive ah proven mapping wait let me let me read that out for you you're not making the full thing the the bills from the old world you're just making a rift and kind of putting bits and pieces there about 32 000 blocks of sand to drain the monument and then you'll figure it out from there that makes a out the uh the portal room right up there in the sky you see the end portal because we go through this room a lot and so far i hadn't decorated it at all pickaxe is breaking tacky i see it but we have new ones in my end chest so before this one breaks we'll actually uh switch it out and grab a new one everyone's scared that i'm gonna break another right pickaxe pinky promise guys i won't i won't i will keep it alive man dream smp or hermitcraft so i think from a content creator wanna grow big standpoint the better choice error like the smart choice would be dream smp but i think hermitcraft fits much better with me as a person and the way i like to play this game so if i would get a choice between the two i would i would say hermitcraft [Applause] geodea thank you very much play some why is the base so laggy it's a combination of a lot of uh item entities there mostly because of the big map room and my pc not being that strong but i ordered a new pc which should come in any day calculation before i can continue there so today for a little change of scenery we are decorating this uh and portal room opinion on sims i i think i think sims is a is a weird word and i think uh i think people use it in a strange way as well to me it's mostly people that are very supportive and i can only appreciate that do you like to break i have an eye on the durability there and we have a lot of new elijah's actually a sugar of full of them in my end chest all enchanted so we can always change it up now there is no guarantee that i'm keeping an eye on the durability because a minute because you love the edits on the 3000 days howard to me they are different things but i i really enjoy both of them i think the the edits like like the movie style content is where where my heart is that is what i uh what i love most but then playing this life talking to you guys sharing progress like being in that adventure together is a completely different experience and also really awesome so i i wouldn't substitute one for the other do i ever join my own smp very very very rarely and the only reason that i don't go there often is that i just i spend just about all the time i have on this world and the reason for that is that i i have a big plans in mind and to get there i need about two years irl of working as hard as i have been for the last few months and i uh i'm so attached to the idea that i have for this world that i just want to put in the effort and get there more than anything else no can i see you in the chat i can i can't i'm happy you're here and i'm happy everybody else is here as well [Music] um lindsay tips so i think the biggest tip i could give you for surviving is just be really really careful and get a shield as soon as possible because as long as you loving the designs you're working on that's where the motivation comes from for me this is what the city of looneyville looks like on the map which is also a sister map to the maps in our main base in the map room this is going to be a fully functional medieval city with different districts that all serve a different purpose to serve the city of its different needs i said a lot of different just a few sentences there but on the map it is always going to look like this exactly i don't think we're getting the thunderstorm i was really hoping for it for a little tour this is looneyville castle this is the mid-income residential area here we have the lighthouse which is actually also a nether wood farm [Music] because there is an automated farm hidden inside of this jace yo luni i'm so glad the trade square this is where villager this is where my very inefficient villager trading hall will be inefficient because you have to walk around a lot and there will be three villagers of each type over functionality for this one i realized from hitting that phantom that the mob sounds are still low which is uh not a good thing it's actually a fairly dangerous thing even so let's fix that these has this medieval style and i i really like the campfires for it for the lighthouse it has a big flame on the top one interesting detail about this lighthouse is that these windows here window frames are actually shaped like a uh totem of undying you see it here in my hot bar which was a something somebody noticed while i was building it and then we uh we fine-tuned it a little bit and gave it and be able to breed with cows here inside we have the first few chests and furnaces that i used in the very beginning we have this room over here which is where i had the cows and then all the way down here is the first mine i i just dug down all the way to uh y11 here and i started strip mining and i also brought lava from this pool i brought it up to um to make another portal uh make a lava cast nether portal at the top row you have covet it hurts dude i hope you get well soon take your rest uh balan what texture pack do you use for the clouds i put it in the description of the two thousand day or three thousand days video whoa i'm so used to saying two thousand days video but three thousand is out now that's awesome um the the shaders are in there i will start putting them in the stream descriptions as well and then if we go this way from the very from the very spawn of the world here we find my first house that i made which was always meant to be a temporary base i stayed there until 50 days into the world and then i moved to the ocean monument this village is desolate now i think nobody lives there anymore here we have a little sugarcane farm just a small one i didn't mean to go in there let's fly out again and here in the basement we have some villagers for trades [Applause] these guys provided me with the essential trades added chicken farm here which i never used i ended up killing them for feathers and i needed the feathers for fireworks let's get rid of these guys we can actually take the feather do i like sugar not all that much honestly [Applause] did he drop no he didn't or he did and i just threw it out here no one guy hiding here he dropped it only thing i would need feathers for is uh is fireworks really and then over this way we will find the end portal where we were working right now and the heart of the sea ocean base splash how many diamonds do i have i think about four stacks i recently used two stacks just to make fireworks for the 3000 days do i use the sand duper joshua uh no i don't i have i feel like you have to um to do the effort for the projects and it feels a lot more worth it i i know queen awesome right how many days are you gonna do or will you go until you died uh dark fire i think i will go until i die but if that never happens i will at the very least try to go to around 12 000 days so we're gonna be on this the slime chunks in my base a little bit on the other hand i have enough slime for forever which is kind of kind of a nice thing to have start with burper oh if we start with burper it's gonna force to the stream we are working on the end portal room right now which is a room that we go through so many times when playing this world because the main thing we're working on right now is that ant statue we're going to continue then later in the week but i need to do a little bit of preparation on stream so we're really ready to go however for today i wanted to uh take care of something that has been annoying me a little bit for a while which is that every time we go through here we end up in a portal room that has nothing so we put this beacon up on top here and then we have this little hole that we use to transport a dolphin to the end and if we uh fly in that try to decrease our speed enough we end up in this room so i'm thinking we start with pillars in the corners of the room now we have to keep in mind that the actual uh wall is going to be this block it's not going to be where the wall is right now because then we have to mine it out one more so from the walls i think i want to have a clearance of at least four blocks because then we can we have a little bit of room left there to make the pillars look more fancy to build them out a little bit and i'm thinking these pillars are going to be fairly big oh this is an interesting thing to note this makes the block face in a different direction i don't think we want that at least not for the for the bottom layers we might want it later um where do we put this i kind of want to have everything here so i'm just gonna mine like this for a moment [Music] and then the first thing we do is uh place these on all sides and then we have a moment to look around and see if it's uh if it's working with the room so far out from the wall means this one and that should line up it does make the end growing on the walls nice visual i like that idea something is shining there i don't think he's fancy enough for the museum so we're just gonna leave him at his life in peace maybe it's a zombie and he will get aggro now uh one more how much is the length and width of the room i honestly don't know exactly i just built it out from the it's a square and i built it out from the portal with about 20 blocks in each direction [Music] i'm gonna leave the middle of the portals open for now or the pillars because then we have option to build something else there we might go like this so i like this one but i'm not too fond of this so i think what we're gonna do instead is get rid of this i definitely need a shovel here i don't care i'll i'll just go into my inventory to grab my sword if we really need it i think this is going to be the orientation and then these go here dirt block gets to go we had a glitch water source somewhere there uh this i'm not sure about you from the first time [Music] maybe i'll do some uh i would still bring him uh to the museum what about using glowstone love it let's do it one two three up once you have a pattern it's pretty easy to uh to replicate it i might make a few mistakes here already on bright i just keep the areas where i'm building really dark usually and the reason that i do it is that you can it was on my wrong hulk key the reason that i i keep it dark is to uh have the ability to build contrast into a room which contrasts make everything look better now when you put a light on the top for example it stands out and it creates a shadow on the bottom which will make the entire build more dramatic in a way which is something i really enjoy [Music] all the torsion hand that could work considering that we're using optifine [Music] jack what are we what am i doing today we are working on the uh on the portal room because this one didn't have a design so far and we get through this room quite a lot [Music] sniper duel he's winning so far but not anymore the obsidian pillars which took me 20 hours to mine out and there will be a lot of work that i have to redo if we spawn it in even once mr sticky boy don't worry about it don't worry about it transporting them to a different location which makes it much more appealing for me i think we're i think we're gonna give that a test we might have an enderman trapping day on our hands tomorrow trap them with minecart and drop it i think that i would prefer the boats we're talking about trapping endermen bringing them here and then putting them in these holes in the pillars and sealing them with glass so there's literally enderman just standing there yes you can be in a boat with them together queen uh queen kitten asks can you ride in a boat with them yes you can and if you play it right i think they shouldn't be aggro which would make it fairly easy and you can just boat into the portal yeah it's an interesting thing we're gonna we're gonna give it a test maybe we should give it a test need to be one higher sea lanterns for the room instead of glowstone i've already used a lot of sea lanterns which is why i would prefer glowstone instead the only benefit of getting sea lanterns is that they are connected textures which does look a little bit better let's just make one of those with um with glowstone and the other one with sea lanterns and then we can uh can see from there which one feels better because it's all about feeling when you're designing something i think uh we can place that but i want to i think this bottom one may be removed as well favorite building in the world noob tube i i gotta say i'm not sure about this one though about connecting it maybe maybe not we'll just try it favorite building in the world i have to say the the heart of the sea the ocean base and the reason for it is that it's just the most completed it's um it doesn't feel like it's missing anything anymore and wait how this fortune lets you still touch here and i think over time that will change because i really like the concept of loonyville but it just feels too unfinished to to label it my favorite thing in the world and i also really like the m statue so i think over time that answer to that question what my favorite thing is might change uh for now it's it's harder to see what are you building uh jvs gamer i am we're working on a portal room uh this is where the end portal is and i didn't decorate it so far so i'm just looking for some basic design okay i don't think i'm even gonna consider the sea lanterns because i like this a lot the only question is is it on the architect that made the pyramid for the louvre museum in paris but i like that one better no i didn't go in the right place i was trying so hard to squeeze it into the right position but it didn't i think that's it let's go back and get the other one efficiency is so high that it lacked the world slimeboy plays with the theory nice stephen what new computer am i getting some beastly thing with an i9 press processor rtx card 3080 uh 32 gigabytes of ram it's uh it's it's kind of nuts it's the single most expensive thing i've ever bought in my life but since youtube is my job now i could actually do that which is crazy and i really look forward to getting it here balsam 1.17 vasco asks i'm uh i'm really looking forward to that i think 1.16 and 1.17 are like high quality uh updates which will uh keep minecraft as a survival game popular for years to come i mean why do i use the endermans we just came up that scared me that magma block uh we just came up with an idea to um in the end portal room that i'm transforming uh put enderman inside of the pillars which means i would need a grand total of 16 endermen but it would look absolutely amazing [Music] etiquette plays why did i
