all right so you open up DaVinci Resolve and you get this message unsupported GPU processing mode please review the GPU drivers and GPU configuration under preferences and you look into your GPU settings and you can't find your GPU there so I'm going to teach you guys how to fix this you have to go into a device manager go to display adapters and then find your GPU so mine is the AMD Radeon here I'm going to go to properties go to the drivers and go to rollback drivers and then pick whatever option you want to report but for me I'm just saying that the last one worked better after this it's going to flash because the GPU is rolling back and that's it that's how you fix it so after it flashes you should have the ability to go back into DaVinci Resolve and I'm just going to open up a project that I was working on before so I can show you that it works again so you can go back through the timeline and you can see that everything works after this go to your preferences you don't have to really do this but I'm just showing you the GPU is back here and then that's basically it all right so this is an update to my video if you want to display adapters right click properties and the driver is grayed out like this that means you can't go back so I'm going to teach you a second method I'll go to your AMD Radeon software and update it to the latest version this should work and you will be able to open up DaVinci Resolve again so the current version is 23.5.2 this was released on June 1st and right now it's June 7th so I'm just going to show you DaVinci Resolve opens up and it doesn't have that error and I'm going to open up my project again and you're going to see that it works Okay so this is the second method right so if that doesn't work we're gonna go to a third method go to the search bar here type in control panel go to uninstall the program and uninstall your GPU software so this is the AMG software for the Radeon and if you're on Nvidia just uninstall your program and uh we have to go back and download the software so I'm going to show AMD first and then I'm going to show in the video after go to amd.com go to downloads and support go to the drivers you should see the that it's under the Radeon graphics here drivers and then search for your graphic card go to graphics and then search for your series mine is this one right here and then if you're on Windows 11 go to this but I'm on Windows 10 so I'm going to go to this one and download the latest adrenaline software and this was released on June 1st so this is the one that I showed you before when you upgrade that does not work go to the previous drivers down here I have it highlighted previous drivers and once again you're gonna have the same menu here except this one says previous drivers okay previous so go to Windows 10 if that's you and then the problem started to rise when they had the April drivers so if you're going to roll back you have to go back to March and March is on the third month here so go to this one and download it download it and install it and it should fix the problem okay so now we're gonna go to Nvidia and I'm going to show you guys how to work through that one too so go to nvidia.com drivers on the right side here and then find your your series and then you should search for the the latest one this is the latest one and that was released on uh last month on the 30th so May 30th and then if that does not work go back and go to the other drivers right here and then same thing search for your series and then search and then they'll give you a whole entire list here you see this so just try out one of these I don't have any video card so I can't help you with that but this is where you would go if you wanted to uh upgrade or else roll back all right so I hope you guys can find a solution to this and that's it for uh this video right peace
