Dave Mustaine At: Guitar Center

I'm Dave Mustaine at Guitar Center when I was growing up one of my influences was Michael Schenker that's by a play of V and I thought his guitar playing because was classically influenced was just amazing every time I would hear a solo there was a new direction it went into and that was part of the challenge this guitar I'm holding right now is the Dean VMT and the reason that we came up with that that name was we want to have a name that had the letter B in it but it wasn't until I found Dean that I really found my home never had a single guitar from Dean show up to me that wasn't absolutely ready to play when the guitar first was developed we wanted to give it a little bit of a difference from when we were with ESP and not copy the Jackson model too much I think probably one of the coolest things was having the six tuners in line for me and of tuning and then having to turn on the bottom and turn it the opposite way a lot of times it's critical when you're on stage you need a tune quickly between songs so for me one of the most important things about design for this guitar was playability one thing that sets this guitar part - is the use of the frets - jumbo frets on here we're not using really thin frets so the guitar has a kind of a twangy sound this is like one of the best metal sound of guitars I've ever played the album 13 was recorded last year it was my 13th record there's a lot of symbology with the number number 13 for example I started playing guitar when I was 13 I it's born on the 13th and right now we're really excited about our future we're going to be releasing a new record next year and our touring which is relentless has has got us back in favor with the public you know we're just going to keep doing what we're doing and watch you know what's on the horizon if we get super big you know America's in trouble you

Sounds a little like "Trust" (Cryptic Writings)? Perhaps he was just doodling with that melody.

Its not Megadeth its just stock music used for jingles and such. I tried to track down some Metal that was played on Man Vs Food and found a boat load of stock music on YouTube. We'll never know who wrote them :(
