Danger Acts Gone HORRIBLY Wrong... Then Redeem Themselves!

nerve-wracking being a judge or being up [Music] there i heard an action figure let's begin let me get through please i've been doing that guys guys we're going to need a medic out here yeah yeah yeah let's travel please you breathing [Music] [Music] little that's part of the act it's not part of the act can you step inside people give us some room guys give us some room excuse me here let's get this curtain closed he's lying still i didn't see any movement [Music] this is a horrible moment yeah he's not responding let's let's see if we can get an ambulance on the scene [Music] i call it the death drop [Music] [Applause] tyra suspended high above the stage damian will climb into a simple wooden box he will then be handcuffed and the lid will be nailed completely shut by his assistance the only support keeping that box in the air is this rope looped through those pulleys and secured here directly above this blowtorch [Music] [Music] [Music] time [Music] and to make it even more dangerous there will be fire damien must escape before the rope burns through and the box comes crashing down into three solid still spikes annihilating anything or anyone inside of it damien are you ready light the blowtorch please [Applause] [Music] is he dead or alive this time [Music] [Applause] something went wrong you don't do that are you out of your mind [Applause] [Music] but what went wrong then [Applause] okay okay everybody okay okay there was a technical problem that was not damien's fault i'm bringing inglewood up into hollywood tonight things happen it was not his fault simon i'm sure you've experienced things before live crazy stuff happening how does this make you feel right now i'm kind of imagining this would be like mel b's wedding night a lot of ants uh a lot of anticipation not much promise or delivery mel b is out this is live tv oh this is guess what [Applause] [Music] the first contestants to see the judges are father and daughter knife throwing duo brian and melanie this is little fairy water i am white of we are father and daughter you're right and you're throwing knives this afternoon yeah yeah how are you how are you feeling i've not been away doing a show before really nervous you're shaking i know well that's not good when you just about throw knives ah this isn't looking like a good start and don't forget that brian will be thrown knives at his daughter in front of an audience of nearly two thousand people is this legal never been judged and i am trembling how do you feel about that i'm getting kiddo well i might as well start shaking because i'm gonna be dead [Music] [Music] good luck enjoy it enjoy it [Applause] i'm really nervous i don't know how this is gonna go hi there well who who are you guys brian and melanie father and daughter okay did anybody order an indian okay and what would it mean to you guys to to get to the royal variety show and play in front of the queen um it'll be a fantastic opportunity it's one of many performers and greatest ambitions to do a thing like the royal variety show and to be performing in front of the queen which is our monocry okay all right well off you go that's it okay thank you good afternoon judges love is a burning thing and it makes a fiery [Music] a ring ring of heart down down down and the flames went higher and it burns burns burn the ring of fire the ring of fire [Applause] uh you know that one yeah sorry i think we we sort of collectively had to bring that to a close before you had an ex-daughter um simon no what it is i've never been as nervous in my life well no but with respect higher water or whatever your name is we we stopped you because we think you're about to murder your daughter i would not attempt to stand in front of that board if i thought there was any danger but darling darling three of the knives just fell off and he just admitted he's never been so nervous why are you arguing with me when i just saved your life i don't get that please oh come on hardly see the lake wanna make them shining armor yeah well done superman look i understand that you're nervous and i understand that you can probably entertain people with this act but we weren't entertained today i was just worried i was worried genuinely for you and for the theater i thought it might have burnt down fire water it's an absolute categorical note amanda it's a no judges who's there first howard you stood up and you platformed i mean that was so intense look i love uzir we've seen him many times perform the man is a masterful athlete if anything this points out to the audience at home just how dangerous this is it's not a gimmick it's not a trick this man does a balancing act that is quite frankly death-defying you had a rough night tonight i feel for you i'm sorry uh what can i say uh what a what a shame to have this happen i know my friend i know you're disappointed and i know you're hurting right now and i'm sure you're not even feeling good but if i can tell you just please be proud of yourself you've been great all along mel b this is this is where i'm at the the funny thing is i turn to howie and i'm like oh my god oh my god and how he said to me but we know he can do it and i said but he might not be able to this time and that just goes to show the pressure of live tv and the fact that even though you are very skilled at what you do there's always that risk things can go death definitely wrong and that kind of was what just happened thank god you didn't hurt yourself but it just goes to show how hard it actually is up there for you especially for you all right i recommend do you yeah i am absolutely okay and if i have another 90 seconds i cannot show you yeah i don't think we can no the most important we love you i wish we could just you know what thank thank god you're okay we don't have another 90 seconds because other contestants have to come out other contestants have to come out sorry well let's put it this way everyone is on their feet for you there and unfortunately we don't have another 90 seconds tonight but america can vote for you so uh heidi i felt like you you wanted to say something yes i am so sorry that this happened to you but you know what i love you and i know america still loves you regardless all right my gosh good evening thank you aussie what i do remember and oh my gosh as i see your forget you want me to forget it yes i couldn't be worse than that honestly so i could have died on that tree if it's really a really emotional moment it was so after that fell i i recovered and i wasn't planning to touch that ladder again but i came back to america's got down championship to her chance to redeem myself [Music] i've been waiting for this moment i cannot fail a district i'm here to prove i can be a champion you probably in all my years here have had the worst accident on live tv than i've ever seen yeah oh no you're not doing the last are you doing the latter tonight no yes no no aren't you have you been doing this trick to be honest i quit it i i never touched that letter anymore that hide ladder so and just for you guys i bring back again no wait you haven't touched it mistakes today so how dangerous is this at honestly i was performing in one show and i fall down a small accident and i tore my acl oh i had a acl surgery six months ago on my right knee and tonight again they've done it already oh guys [Music] [Applause] oh [Applause] [Music] so elisha oh three years ago semi-finals of britain's got talent i put my life into your hands now it didn't go exactly as planned but we both survived oh my gosh luckily but i want redemption alicia will you please join me on stage i would as you can see behind me i have crossbow roulette right down here there are five targets i'm gonna be standing right in the middle with an arrow pointed directly at my heart okay there's five levers here there's five crossbows these levers have a string attached to the trigger of one of these crossbows at random now i don't know which one it is you don't know what it is nobody does when i am over there and i'm attached to that wall you're gonna look at these numbers and when you select one just like last time you're gonna pull it off place it down below so we don't lose it on my command you're gonna grab this lever and pull it back very slowly okay now you can pick any number but you only get to pull four of the five okay can i ask a question what happens if she pushes the wrong one in the wrong order do you get shot in the heart uh yeah oh come on but i believe in her and we're not afraid of anything right i'm not afraid are you ready for this terry please [Applause] if you don't mind to help attach me to this sir i wouldn't do that okay [Music] nothing like walking in front of live crossbows alisha there's five choices you're pulling four the first one is the easiest okay i'm gonna go with number three perfect on my command you're gonna pull it back very slowly oh my god ready [Music] now i can't look oh no why is he not going keep coming [Applause] yeah i forgot to turn the safeties off [Music] [Applause] okay he forgot the safety yeah i've got a bad feeling about this it's not worth i don't know if i'm dying with this now good okay take one off select it below okay i'm going with number three again then when you're ready you know that's a rough way to go if we hadn't stopped that i genuinely believe we would have had our first death [Music] this is gonna be probably the biggest thing i've ever done in my life really yeah is this dangerous very my name's kieran biddy i'm 22 and i'm here today to be a danger performer the stunt i'm going to be performing today needs to be done with complete precision if it's not it could seriously hurt me or anyone else around me one wrong move and that's it it's game over hello what's your name my name is kieran i'm 22 i'm a marketing manager and i'm from south wales good luck thank was supposed to happen basically it's a 10-foot ladder on fire yeah and then what and it's free balance in there but didn't you sort of do that i did yeah i still don't get it well it's the best ladder burning act we've seen today but i'm sorry it's a no for me the the fire extinguisher a bit at the end was the best thing this is a big moment it just needs to be more of a polished axe that's a no from me i'm sorry it's a no i'm saying no thank you very much [Music] it's a swell time of year ryan and amber lynn are just thrilled to be heading out on vacation [Music] ladies and gentlemen we prepared two brand new extremely dangerous never before seen stunts but before we do the big dangerous stunt we're gonna warm up ladies and gentlemen this is sword swallowing with a twist [Music] know i think what you do is wonderfully horrific but that's the first time you missed right the first time you've ever missed it yeah and and you are in pain and i would imagine after we finish judging you are going right to an emt okay am i correct no yes no i am you know we have to be responsible here you are hurt and i think what you did is wonderful and you did it to win this i think you deserve votes i think the fact that you're willing to do this you've got we got a we got a vote for you but the audience just saw what can happen i hate that i saw what could happen okay mel mel b uh well you are you i don't know what to say you are her and you know what i do even though i don't like what you do i can actually appreciate it because it is very much a danger act and it is your daredevil's at the end of the day i'm sorry what whatever happened happened at the end but i still give you credit for for coming on this on this show and doing what you do i mean it's hiding i mean it really really scared me you know it scared me the first two times that i've seen you guys and now here you came you had the silly music i'm like great it's an isle of lucy set they're trying to disguise all the gross stuff and then boom this and now i know why i don't like these things because they can sometimes go wrong and i feel bad stop this why are we judging this act that's right amber just shot ryan and he needs to go to the hospital now go yes no i'm being serious 100 this is live television anything can happen but we want you to know he did not get punctured he's safe we will see the emt in the back but ladies and gentlemen let's give it up for him one more time remind him remind everyone your names again please ryan stark and amber lynn your husband and wife aren't you not quite common law yeah your wife essentially nearly killed you on one of the live shows that's right yeah that's true shut you in the neck it was one of the most shocking moments we've ever seen on any of these live shows have you ever done that stunt again we never performed it since good so what are you doing tonight we're gonna do that stunt oh great yeah we're gonna we're gonna try it again for the first time are you serious yes we're dead serious why i think that's what makes a champion if you fall down you pick yourself back up brush yourself off and do it again i lit the arrow i pulled the trigger and it went wrong immediately i'm like what did i do did i kill the man i love it she missed now i know why i don't like these things because they can sometimes go wrong and i feel bad why are we judging this act that's right amber just shot ryan and he needs to go to the hospital now it's really really difficult to not blame yourself i don't hold it against amber it wasn't her fault that's the nature of doing stunts for a living when you're known for your biggest mistake you really don't want to revisit that mistake over and over and over again but when we got the call to do america's got talent the champions honestly the the first thought in our minds was we have to we have to do you trust me i'm ryan stock and i'm amber lynn now i've been obsessed with stupid human tricks and superhuman stunts since i was just a little kid and one of the first things i started playing with was a mouse trap now i learned that i could snap these things on my fingers and on my toes without hurting myself but i found a better way to do it it's tough no i didn't do it yet howie just [Music] stay in school stay in school [Applause] you ready for this i'm not ready [Music] [Applause] the arrow the flaming arrow ah last time they tried this he took a flaming arrow to the neck why is he wetting his hair he looks good if he dies [Applause] [Music] i can't watch it [Music] [Music] [Applause] are you serious right [Applause] are you okay that was the scariest thing i've done in a long time yeah yeah by the way uh mel well i have to be honest i actually couldn't watch it but what i did i watched the audience and i know it must have gone really well based on their reaction i think you two are actually nuts brilliant brave gutsy champions whatever you want to call it perfect it still doesn't make them not amazing it makes them human and actually but the the consequences on this are slightly worse than falling off key whereas you nearly broke your neck and the fact that your niddy blind makes this incredible yeah thank you so much everything about it the music the suspense the fire just incredible yes thank you what are you thinking why are you crying we work on the road a lot and we have a two-year-old son and we have to leave him at home most of the time so the dream is to be in vegas so that our family can be together and he's actually here he's up i see so much passion passion between the two of you passion and the craft that you have you know really doing something different we can see that huh you wonder what that feeling yeah but you've had a guy drop you [Applause] this for the record i dropped them six more acts are gonna make it through you're gonna be in the mix guys well done congratulations thank you so much [Applause] i love them i love never done in front of anyone before you guys are the first to see this i did see the clip of you guys and i saw that you had something wrong with your eye how is that now um so yeah i have a an eye disease called keratoconus and because of agt we had one of the most successful eye surgeons in the country reach out to us personally and he was able to do a procedure where he stopped the progression of the disease so i no longer will go completely blind we wished we had won that's why we're here for champions we want to show our side that even if you fall you can get back up and make
