DAN AND PHIL JAPAN HAUL!

hey guys hello again so as you probably know we just got back from Japan where we had the best time ever and if you haven't seen it yet you should check out our day in the life in Japan video which is yeah oh you'll regret it it's the best and you probably clicked now sorry I know shopping I'm usually quite restrained yeah I'd agree with that although when I got to Japan no way completely out of the window I bought so much stuff we bought a lot of things so it's now time for our Japan whole sorry grab a hot drink get a snack feed your pets as this may take a while strap yourselves in we're going for a wild ride through Japan yeah the first place we went was naka no Broadway and if you saw a day in the life in Manchester all those years ago it's kind of like a flex palace in that it is full of random crap for good crap and boy did Phil buy a lot of random crap yeah the first thing I noticed with those so many machines they call Gacha machines is that what they're called yeah when you spin a copper coin get the egg random thing so my first purchase was a plastic woodlouse I hate that thing so why is it with Japan and would like I don't know apparently Japan doesn't get woodlice no and they think that they're really cute or funny because they curl into a ball or something so there was like a woodlouse fandom the boys shop there was plushie wood lies wood lice posters there ever and you'll hear a little rattle what what is it Amos riot I never know godzilla wins some pancake playing cards which aren't just amazing because the circular they don't all look like that every single different card has a different pancake topping on it I am so excited to play with those they're probably gonna make me hungry this thing I don't really know what the hell is that something from my nightmares a rainbow prism I don't really know I bought this there's just this guy seems so excited about it I had to have it that's just a triangle of plastic I needed it a pop and cooking pizza set I'm sure that will be really delicious weird dog chocolate are you gonna eat that in the packet India okay bear jellybeans only bought this cuz it was a bear at render this Pikachu jigsaw thing that is pretty cool actually I've got no idea how I'm gonna build this and the instructions bubbling Japanese yeah good luck and giant cats also known as a nickel wait which one of us gets to keep this then the next day after going to Nakano went to the Studio Ghibli Museum which was amazing very good magical you won't have to take photos I know I'm not to take them all in my brain so there's nothing we could show you guys thankfully they had a gigantic gift shop and the cat bus has a Totoro inside what a Cal super coaster a storage isn't it makes it look like your mug is on fire when you're having a cup of coffee having teen of those and also I Cal some a spatula other way around how amazing is that a little bit of film do you explain this one you went into a movie theater when they showed an exclusive Ghibli movie and this was the ticket which is an actual film sell piece of film and then by far the best thing should I open it for this I feel like I feel like I've shown you never these guys this is basically the official book of the Studio Ghibli Museum and you'll see why so first stroke the the felt Totoro funds of the real it feels so real then on the other side of this leaf they have a map showing where the studio W museum is here they have a giant unfolding plant Totoro in the bean store with and then hey hey who loves a pop-up we do these guys so that is officially the best book in the entire world and now you don't have to buy it because we spoil the whole thing oh yeah on day three you enter place north of sunshine city which contained the most dangerous place of all this was a lot of the rings this was like the Mordor volcano does that even make sense yes okay it was the Pokemon Center the world's biggest Pokemon store right let's dive in what is there don't hyperventilate what is this Pokemon cookie Pokemon cookie everyone he's poking my wire yeah I need to see what shapes forget oh my god it's a little Pikachu cookie oh he's going forever you guys taste us and minimal crumb trilogy was good was good yeah it could do with dipping in some covered something's it's kinda taking all the moisture out my mouth with a good dunk that would be a good biscuit I'm gonna keep that tin forever as well and put all my secrets in it you've noticed what secrets can you put in a tin well you will never know because they'll be hidden in my tin lucky dip it is the master ball that I bought Pokemon tissues if you've ever got a cold where do you want to blow your nose more than the face of a Pikachu mmm it's a Kyogre sneeze my favorite kind this point is going a bit crazy that's when you're just wrapping things off the show I think I need this yes a Pokeball notepad and for all the schoolwork that i still obviously do i got some organizing file things hey you still use your folders when you're walking around airports I do information packs now I'm going to be the swaggiest airport person of all time how could I forget this this is the best thing ever I got a plushie IKEA is insane look at that literally the college of all its so finally deep I know right amazing from all angles and would you believe that is all we bought from the one Pokemon shop so much restraint was needed we could have spent all day there now I definitely thought I needed to bring back some food as Japan is famous for its crazy food and it's sometimes nice it's not all just weird yeah firstly I got some classic he played with KitKat this is like the number one thing they were supposed to bring back can we have one now yeah we've got so many weird flavors of kick-ass they have green tea cheesecake wasabi so I would skip the wasabi yeah I feel like that one would be a bit more of a YouTube challenge than a souvenir that tiny wow that's not KitKat that's a it's a it's Japanese people they must just have shorter breaks hey hey I like green tea though I am kind of on the fence of green tea I'm on the edge of the cup is green tea chocolate that's amazing mmm I is amazing Wow what are their inferior foods did you buy felled some strawberry love heart Pocky and some Charlie Brown mochi cool thing is dark chocolate and a weird dish of : I don't know little cubes of Cola something in a bowl it just excited me nice try it what is that is that edible tray I trust this significantly less than the KitKat and it comes with a stick is that for like presenting you a table so you can eat them I'd give that about a 2 out of 10 it's not my good it's like a really stale Curtis we know it's whether you found at the bottom of your bedside drawer or when you ascend a bus stop or something and I bought this because I thought it was a chocolate yen like a chocolate coin but it's just plastic yeah maybe we'll bring you look don't recommend looking that yeah now as people who follow me on Instagram I know I did have quite a bit of luck at the arcades on the war machine oh my god you were on fire on the course I'm supposed to make can we insert the clip yeah [Music] my cleaning errand figurine from Satan now you may notice on the back of this there are two collectibles in this set and they actually clip together to make a cleaning errand and Levi next to each other now I won one half of this in a claw machine and it turns out that Duncan and me mate on the day that we have two bought us the other half of it it's so weird they didn't know that we'd won that one what are the chances of that happening probably like winning the lottery or something House they're all very good the internet doesn't know this one yet but next day I heard quite a bit of luck at the same machine and I won a sailor suit hairy frog 3 I'm gonna go in this house in my bedroom obviously I had a chat now one of the best things we did was go on a date or to Mount Fuji yes was incredible so cool here is a photo of the majestic Mount and our friends we made a really cool video of the day which will link to at the end of it anyway I can't believe Warner's at the top of Mount Fuji there was a gift shop and there was a particular item that caught my eye a can of air from the top of the mountain it could be for any yeah this is literally the stupidest thing in the entire world but I think it's hilarious yeah the idea is so funny I was like every time I look at this in my bedroom it's gonna make me laugh maybe one day I can just crack it open and be like breathe in now sweet factory 3 then that's teeny oxygen and the only thing I bought from a future gift shop was black ice 3 yeah which I can't really show you as I eating it and it's in my stomach or in a Japanese toilet oh so I don't they might warm toilet seats but we do have a picture so here is the ice cream and the aftermath or before anyone yes is he on the internet what did it taste like it just tasted a vanilla which is kind of disappointing something I don't think I was supposed to do was steal a coaster from the maid cafe fell you looted from the cafe I did did you fill I'm sorry they actually liked us so much that they offered us a loyalty card maid cafe fly license of your majesty I can't adjust to my master show them what you got from that shop in Harajuku I got a amazing Hinata from a high q-- figurine how awesome is that that is really does a fully sized awesome thing and it was so expensive I got a free three tissue box so now it's Akihabara which is the land of anime and I got some high stickers and attack on Titan stickers and you bought these oh yeah it's my sword art online post-it note you're never gonna use that money posted though okay how was I'm gonna use this every day I'm just gonna leave messages for you around the house hi if they look like that not complaining buy more milk you may know about our fridge wall roast the little plastic thing that goes in the fridge well I bought the extra special golden golden pig so what this is gonna live in our fridge and speak sweet tones to us what happens to the walrus he goes out to pasture which means he gets shot Wow Phil you didn't have to spill a little buy that and then something kind of hilarious originally you could only expect this from the land of anime in Japan prepare yourselves an attack on Titan fragran I should not believe this existed this was like a complete what they had to to choose from they had a Myka so one for girls and they Aaron one for boys have you seen the bottle yeah no I think we should open am so excited cardamon nutmeg and star nice and a last of cedarwood sandalwood and musk I love a good must love a good Titan mustn't there it is it's cool it's a good bottle is it yeah it looks like mouthwash I go in spray zone trying to get the thing to stop pumping and then a pub tool it was nice a musk is nice faintly like toilet cleaner I don't know you're expecting from an anime and finally which is good I think I'm about to pass out from the attack on Titan fragrance when we got to the airport we saw Tokyo banana banana now we asked like what is this about apparently it's the most popular kind of souvenir food in the whole of Japan that Japanese people buy I've never heard of it Tokyo but nah they've got little ribbons on them oh really heavy I love wow that is so dennis is a dense object how much do you like banana no I'm not sure I appreciate your sacrifice go I don't like it it's like eating a Nesquik banana milkshake it's amazing oh yeah I'm getting used to it I went through a lot of emotions right there that was like a completely I don't I do wait oh I don't mind the taste I just don't like the texture I think that's what's happened you don't like the sponge and the creamy yeah and I free ties with always a real banana for a second mmm oh man you just leave me with the box I'm sorry and that was our Japan doing enough to give any of these things to our friends I kind of don't want to think we should just keep everything for ourselves today I feel naked ears already me with funny and letting go of it in our
