you're like okay so do you only wear your gear or do you wear other um mostly mine you know when i was younger and i was running around in the fashion world you know i'm cocky and i'm arrogant and i ran into like ralph lauren and you know i think i'm cooler than him and he just kind of grinned at me and i walked off and i realized i had a purple label suit on right it devastated me right so i was like i could never i've just feel funny wearing another man's clothing and then i meet him right i just you know i just feel like also i could always do things better right creatively i like to do everything myself i feel like good taste transcends you know everything and uh you know i like to do everything myself so that's why i like to have my own and then also i like to monetize the things that i love to do for free right so if i'm gonna get fresh you know i love it right i might as well make the clothes and ultimately it costs less to make your own rather than to pay for somebody else's it just takes a little more time right but i like the process right yeah all right so i designed everything down in my jury right except for the classics so before we go any further you know i'm an entrepreneur i just started in the cognac business i got this is called laportier which is a vsop named after my grandmother and i wanted your one entrepreneur to another absolutely appreciate in history as an industry conqueror okay you know i don't think the way industries are set up right now behoove us as a culture and they all need to be changed okay so when i went into the music business i shook that [ __ ] up and i benched the people from the other culture that i didn't think were treating us fairly like a leo cohen right i like to call them out by name right which a lot of us don't do right and did the same thing in the movie business you know i don't like to get at home boy weinstein but i was getting after him way before we went through what he went through and everybody thought i was crazy when i made pain in full right which i'm about to make part two right and um fashion same thing rockwear rachel roy state property you know but the industry and television right now i have this partnership with fox soul and i have my own studios i make my own movies i distribute other people's movies i'm a director but the industry that i really haven't shook up and i've been really aggravated about is sports okay i think it's the most flagrant example of racism and the programming of us looking like we're not equal and us hurting each other and still looking and regarding each other as number two especially the nfl right so you know i look at things on a therapeutic and also a psychological level because that's the way muscle is controlled so if you're a professional football player which you have been your owner i don't even like that name right your owner is the person that's your lifeline that's who pays you right that's who you have to be nice to all the time no matter what no matter how good you are and every owner is white every owner is white and i've personally tried to buy teams with people from the nfl and you have to get voted in and all this and it's right it's ridiculous that every black well number one in the nfl if everyone black quit there is no nfl true but at the end of the day they all have to look up to a white man owner and that must be traumatizing and i don't like it so i'm not mad about how people set their own house up i just build my own right so but you do understand how hard it is to get into that because they only have 32 teams listen these franchises don't become available very well let me just tell you something about me nothing's hard for me what's hard for me is not trying right even if it's not successful i'm doing it and i'm doing it now so my first step is an arena football league okay we have a team the tampa cyclones okay we'll be airing it and you know they'll be black owners right it doesn't mean that only black people could play right but we'll be the landlords right i'ma start with six teams we start immediately you know um i think i'm gonna make the announcement next uh next monday in tampa okay and uh you know we start playing our first game april 2nd but in alabama or mississippi is the first uh game in march right and you know i'm gonna have an approach on this right and my thing is there'll be black head coaches there'll be therapy there'll be economic literacy and they'll be teaching not like you know how to stay here like you know be taught that you could be successful if you act a certain way right it'll be about making sure that the players are rich right and literate right on every level in every way and what about the players that just want to get a paycheck go home everybody doesn't want to be it doesn't have the business augment that you does or don't want to be in that business model that's why i'll do the rough stuff i'm gonna make sure that when the player doesn't have a career as a football player anymore right they have a career as an entrepreneur they'll have some real estate right and also i'm gonna do the same thing in the metaverse so i already got the ius for the mfl the meteorologist football league correct i already have the technology to ford dm up and i have the real estate in in network which is like the the youtube of the metaverse i already have the stadium being built i got the ai you know i'm thinking in other dimensions as well so at the end of the day i want to shake up the sports industry at least i'm going to try right everybody looks tough but nobody's fighting them right when no one presents a different alternative but i just think things would be a little better if we were in control if we were just the landlords i want to be in my own owner's box i don't want to be a vip in someone else's right so i'll do it myself and i'll i'm up for the fight i'm up for the war you know usually when you want to take a block you get it whoever's the toughest one right i want to get a jerry jones so you know i'd love to have a conversation with him to make me understand why there's no black owners i want to know what you do realize you're talking about you need to own 30 percent uh the broncos let's take a look i don't want an nfl team i'm making my own league so you want to only no i have my own lane but doing it but here's the and look how they treat us in the hbcu right yes they don't cover none of these players now that they can actually have the players can now get advertisements and no no no one will cover their games well you well that's not true since dion sanders has been down there that's the man that's the word i'm hearing i'm hearing his name a lot yes but that's what i'm saying since one of us had to go take control of that situation but if we don't take control it doesn't get controlled we end up just making doing what's best for them right and jordan at tennessee state yeah jackson's at grambling university that's right so you're starting to get guys that's familiar right um i think they're making a conscious effort i think some of the bro some of the broadcast partners are starting to to highlight hbcus and show that there are guys we have to highlight ourselves we have to have our own television network that's the reason why i have my own television network we have to showcase our image we have to visualize what it looks like when we win not when we fit in it's when we the bosses right and that's what has to be seen and it's never shown so that's what i'm going to do for sports the same way i did it for music the same way i did it for movies i'm gonna take a i'm gonna take a swing on sports right i don't like it before i didn't have the bag i have the plan and i'm getting that i'm i'm doing it and i'm also gonna bring awareness to those hbcu teams as well as as well as whoever else is doing it right but i'm gonna do my part just because i haven't ever been able you know it's just something that's been bothering me every time like certain teams i don't like because i'd be like yo they never had a blackhead coach they'll never get a black i just don't like it right you know i just have with my culture i love the people i love when they hurt i hurt right so i'm not in that but i'm still affected by it correct i'm not going to be in that program and be considered distractions and watch my culture get their heads back and then they'd be ending up with all this trauma and work away with nothing right you know i i hear more stories of of horror stories of making the nfl it's supposed to be a dream and then it turns into a nightmare this is what i hear right and i hear it just because of the psychological psychological pressure it takes just to even fit in but of course if you think in your number two and you gotta pray to some white man and get paid of course you're gonna be traumatized that's the program that has to stop and i'm not going to complain about what they do i'm complaining about what i don't do so i'm going to try and i'm going to win so if that i don't visualize the loss ever is that the reason why you got into the spaces that you got in you got into the music you got into the i played a little bit i played football i'm a fan okay i play basketball i'm a fan right i play lacrosse i'm a fan and these are the things where i just don't like the narrative where the person calling the plays is never from my culture really when they are it's like a big deal this [ __ ] should be the normal we got our own [ __ ] so we can make the rules we'll never ever make the rules if we don't own nothing and i don't want to start out as big as them i just want to own it i just looking at us are making the money look like us they don't look like us they're paying us they're laughing at us that's the way i look at it so if you had an opportunity to buy an nfl team you don't want to buy an nfl team i'm going to hold a competing lead no no if they want to play nice we've tried to buy how many black pink men have tried to buy football teams and a white board said no i know ray lewis tried as a majority or as a minority i want i want to be the boss okay well how but here's the thing i tried to buy the raiders dang it i tried it i get it damn i get it but how many black people have the capital to be able to put up 30 percent of an nfl team first of all how many people in general put up their own money in the first place anyway we all have to come together and put our money together make it fun and go make it right that's the difference between us and they don't know how to leverage they know how to stick together they don't put up no money they pre-sell everything before it happens you get it you get you build the marina you pre-sell the rights to the naming rights and then it pays for everything they just beat us don't know how to do it there's no owner all did and unless you have a dream that people think are crazy then your dream is whack right i dream big bro and everyone around me that dreams big that i've taught to dream big you're reading about them in forbes with billions next to their names those are my students well i don't have to listen because i want to be next to my name and i ain't just talking about boss me neither okay but i'm have a billion dollars worth of love and my culture's gonna eat not only me and i'm a toast to my culture and all of us being rich and being treated with respect never having to fit in i'm sick of hearing here and i was trying to get another vodka i can't be a one-hitter quitter you can't get you know you partnered with fox soul so what type of shows are you trying to produce out of your studio it's called deprogramming and things like entertainment is usually made to distract us from the oppressor right you know make us visualize things that can't happen right you know and my programming is to make us focus it's about real wealth so there's programming like health is wealth showing you how you eat this programming called healing is gangster about therapy right there's movies right there's uh i'm part of something called the osg 130 black principles right and you know that are fighting for us when no one's looking and i'm showcasing them so they have their programming osg programming i got a programming like forbidden knowledge with billy carson talking about the anunnakis and the things they don't teach us that are in ancient um we have the music the blue rock music basically we have everything you know docuseries we have everything you do you do sitcoms everything and on my app if you go to my app while you're watching it you can buy it so we do movies we do everything okay like you know that's why you see when i came in i'm like you know to me thank you when i look at what kind of cameras are those huh uh how many cameras you got we got a nice little operation we got four cameras you got one sliding i see and you have a set yeah and this is a set so why not do some scripted for the same money you're sitting down talking that's what i learned from having a studio i'm like yo for the same [ __ ] money i could be doing well you can do a lot of things the script that gets scripted gives you residual income right and that's what it's about making money while you're sitting by the pool see that's the problem like you know sometimes you're trying to lure my crew away no i'm trying to tell you i'm trying to tell you what to do with your crew well i'll do it with you if you want you give me all these pros what are some of the cons there's no they got to be yeah they got to be no no the cons is you don't try and you wonder what would have happened if you did your whole life and nothing comes true so there has never been a venture that you should set out to to do that didn't come through didn't come through fruition i learned that they don't sometimes come through the timing in which i want them to right but the experience like you know i sold oil i've done all that stuff it was just to see what it was like right for me experience is the win right you can't smoke in here experience is the one you know what i'm saying right so you know i made my dreams come true when i was young i was like a hip-hop mogul before i was 25. so i had needed more [ __ ] to do it's just everything i visualize in my head i usually end up doing my version of it i don't want to do what everyone else's version of right because then they have to get somebody else's money be told what to do my version of my dreams is doing it myself being completely independent and always being able to stand behind my point of view fearlessly and unapologetically right so why is it so important because you like you say you do clothing you do it records you got what sporting nfts yeah everything because that's what inspires me i'm an artist so you like being diversified you're like i'm just doing music i'm just doing clothing i like doing tv shows i like doing whatever inspires me okay for a living so the trick is to do something and you've learned it yeah people you play football for free you love it but you learned to get paid yeah i would have played for fun but i need to know everybody else playing for free too i ain't playing for free and everybody that's not my point i know what you're supporting my point is my point is the trick is to get paid to do something that you would do right free because you love it right and then it never feels like work right so i'm just the person that's inspired by a lot of things so i just like to do everything without somebody telling me what to do so if i say i want to be a football i want a football team i don't want to have to try out i just make the team you mentioned earlier that you're doing the uh um paid in full too will we see any of the original actors they're too old uh hey see i mean pogba caught five for a could be good but not have a discipline and you know you end up going nowhere so just kevin is one of those people that just had the work ethic and took the opportunity and i might not agree with becoming a product of my environment my mother worked too hard for me not to have to do that so i put myself in boarding school south kent i played football lacrosse in basketball and started boxing as a team so the homies do what they think you're like that's not for me i see something bigger brighter no i was i was hustling yeah hard i just you know the boxing happened because somebody owed me some money you had to put hands on them and i was like might as well sophisticate these you know but you can't hustle so you ought to get good at it so you can really do that i got very good at it i compromise what people think about your work right and then also infrastructure you know i had a team at a young age you know i had people working for me i had to collect i had to read up all that type of thing how do you get up but the difference is i was you know definitely way 20 years way past 20 years ago right but i was really young and i applied all those things so what i do now the difference is the recourse isn't jail or death so this [ __ ] is easy that's my point like if you fail in that world you go to jail or you know you die right that's why i stop it's not sustainable right in my teens right but in this world what the [ __ ] gonna happen how do you put enough people to do what you needed to do what you wanted to do you have to have enough people around you you can trust don't trust nobody what you mean you don't trust anybody don't trust nobody that's to be a drug dealer bro you still had to trust somebody you gave somebody your drug they had to so you sold your own you had no you had no runners i i didn't give them enough to hurt me but i gave them enough to make me hurt them but still you thought you still had to trust them didn't trust them i just waste of time why that put you on the map it was a stepping stone but when i say it's a waste of time industry-wise they don't do real business there's figureheads that that don't have the power like you could call somebody a president at a music company and they don't know [ __ ] about p l it's just a figurehead right it's not real business it's just you know the majors which is not run by our culture putting us as figureheads there so that they could say that it's still being run by black people right but it's not all the decisions are being made by someone else you know that so i got sick creating currencies daily so don't do anything for money do things for love and then you'll be protected and you'll know what real wealth is you're big on promoting health how can we get the culture our community healthier you know by showcasing cool people eating good food it's about influence and leading by example so telling people what to do doesn't work showing people what to do by doing it and if they respect you they usually do it right it's like you know you got to make it aspirational kind of but just understanding like there's this documentary called they're killing us that shows exactly how food is targeted to black people to kill them but they won't showcase that you know understanding that you know meat has nothing but fecal and doo-doo all over it 99 of it who the [ __ ] wants to eat doodle and understanding what the gmo does to your body and your organs are you vegan veganish i ate eggs and cheese sometimes no fish that's disgusting do you see conspiracy it's like
