Custom Shoes | Lil Durk & NLE Choppa

welcome back my name is marco over the last few years i made a lot of custom shoes [Applause] for a lot of people and lately a lot of rappers polo g tory lanez kevin gates bobby schmertz central c and so on and today i'm adding two very special people to this list anneli chapa and little dirt these are two of my favorite rappers and today i'm making both of them custom air force ones and then traveling to them and delivering them and getting their reaction i'm going to start with nli chapa if you don't know who that is somehow um and you know who i am that's lit bud he's a 19 year old rapper from memphis he has a bunch of hit songs and he's actually in la right now visiting so it's the perfect time to deliver shoes day but before we deliver them we have to make i like to do a lot of research on everyone i make custom shoes for just so i make sure the shoes are very personalized and meaningful and they actually wear first thing that popped up when i looked up emily chapa was his name nle stands for no love entertainment which is his record label i definitely wanted to add that on the shoes i started the shoes like every other pair of shoes i do by taking off the laces taking off the factory finish with acetone and getting them ready for paint but with this specific pair i also took off the nike swoosh because i was thinking of adding my own on later i also spoke with this cameraman the other day on the phone trying to figure out what his favorite colors were i don't really um do you know what he likes i don't know i know he looks purple other than that i started the shoe by making the entire background black also black goes on so easily on white shoes and i feel like it looks so much cleaner when the white soles popping off of a black shoe after the shoes were painted all black i printed out some stencils of flames i also taped off the white sole so it stays white throughout the whole video i put the flame stencils on the black part of the shoe and then lightly misted it with my airbrush that i filled with purple his favorite color i moved the stencils every time i sprayed it so it had like a layering effect of the flames and kind of looked 3d and i did some flames darker some flames lighter just by adjusting the amount of paint i sprayed each time once i had all the flames on the shoes done i blacked out the toe box and the side box of the shoe so the flames would really pop off the shoe also in the toe box that i just made black i wanted to add his logo no love entertainment so i just looked up online nle and that's the first thing that came up which was super easy and i took that logo printed it out then i repainted the nike swoosh on the inside which is the one i left on white and then i used my own leather to cut out a new shape of a swoosh so far the shoes look awesome but i had to brand them to make sure people know their mind i went on the nike website and had custom lace tags made with my name on them just engraved on the middle so it was super subtle and then when they got to my house i laced them up in the shoes took a bunch of pictures for instagram and then packed them up to deliver to nli chapa now i go to la hi guys the next morning good morning i have the shoes right here i'm going to la right now to drop them off to italy choppa so we can get like his video reaction he's in l.a and then when we get back we're going to start on dirk's shoes [Music] i don't step on these shoes you might you might get a tune adam back home that was emily chappa's reaction hopefully he liked them but now we got to start a little dirk shoes i'm making little dirk air force ones also i'm also making custom shoes for his best friend duty low they just dropped a song together but after i finished both shoes we're flying atlanta my flights my flight's on saturday so enjoy for this pair of shoes i want them to be mostly black and white i looked on lil dirk's instagram it looks like he mostly wears black and white and also wears air force ones a lot i made the whole shoe black white and gray put on some otf logos on the shoe which is his brand only the family [Music] i also printed out a stencil of the chicago cityscape and then i made my own nike swoosh flipped it upside down and stitched it on the shoe and after i laced them up the shoes were done all right little dirk shoes are done and so our duty lows i made his friends off camera but now we gotta go to atlanta and deliver the shoes so my flight's tomorrow morning so i'll just see that all right guys we made it to atlanta it's like seven in the morning here we just landed we're kind of just sitting around waiting for a little dirt to message me so we can go over but check out the shoes real quick probably one of my favorite pair very like wearable shoe i feel like and also look in the front i put little marco clasp thing so it's like kind of branding on the shoes got the custom marco boxes too these are for little dirk's friend otf duty love these are pretty cool they're dunks dude these are sick got like blue laces blue bottoms i'm gonna pack up both these shoes probably go inside make out with them till little dirk text me and then we're just gonna go over there and deliver the shoes so until then we're just gonna sit around and wait what's up nice to meet you bro by the way this is duty low little dirk's best friend the one i made these dunks for all right these ones are yours these are one of my best pairs [ __ ] all oh i love him i ain't met a [ __ ] yeah that's [ __ ] with no customer design like him bro thank you brother you put enough in the trenches y'all ass be scared i ain't flew all the way from ballet bro you like him yeah cool bro after i surprised him with the shoes it was time for a little dirk here's where things got tricky in other words here's the reason i cried the whole flight home from atlanta to san diego little dirk was supposed to come to the studio with duty lo they were both supposed to open the shoes together for the video little dirk was late so he called us and said hey something came up with the family i'm not gonna be able to make it can we do a facetime reaction and i was like okay that's fine i understand obviously that sucks but at least i got a facetime reaction so here's a little dirks rack he flew all the way from l.a [Music] look how he switched that up
