Custom Automatic Conversions with Cabot Bigham at SEMA 2019

[Music] hey guys Cabot Bigham here we're in the upper South Hall with a very interesting company this is CA conversions and I'm standing here with Casey Casey how are you I'm doing great thank you how are you I'm doing well what exactly are we looking at here what do you guys do as a company what we do as a company is we take the Alison 1000-2000 that you would normally find for example in a Duramax truck and we put it in all kinds of vehicles that it was never meant to belong that's awesome so you're really just given the best transmission you can for any type of power unit in our opinion the best transmission on the market that you can put behind any diesel engine it was a industrial transmission before it was ever a truck transmission and so it will hold the guttural strength that you get and the torque that you get out of a diesel motor and in addition to that it will hold the power and the weight if you want to tow so if you if you want to do anything with your truck other than drive it to the grocery store that you can't go wrong by putting an ALICE in it gotcha so what do you what do you need to do in order to make all these engines fit and pair with the Alison it's pretty simple we put we build flex plates and adapters for all of the Cummins motors flex plate and adapters for the 73 power stroke the 6l power stroke if you have a 67 Ford motor then it already has what's called an SAE 3 bell housing which is industrial so it's real easy to fit an Allison to it and then we have a patent it's now a utility patented transfer case adapter so if you put it if you put it into a Dodge or you put it into a Ford you don't have to modify any of your four-wheel-drive put your four-wheel-drive your transfer hose right behind the tail housing of the Allisyn everything in your truck works exactly as it does and then we build all of the wiring the wiring harnesses we do the electronics we have our own boxes that will allow you to have the manual mode but basically all I need from a donor truck so to speak is throttle I need to know when your foots on the pedal and when your foots not on the panel and then the rest of it we can take from there that's so cool do you guys do any custom colors for customers we do yellow its we're kind of like Henry Ford you two can have it any way you wanted as long as it's black but with us you can have it any way you want it as long as it's yellow so we powder coat all of our transmissions yellow I guess if somebody were to ask me if to do it another color we we could certainly make that option available our philosophy is for a you know small nominal fee you can have anything you want so I've never to be honest with you I've never been asked but powder coating comes in just about any color you can imagine since our company color is the yellow that is our that is our standard go to where can people find more information about the ca conversions and or watch videos well it's pretty simple the company custom automatic conversions so you can look us up based on ca conversions custom automatic conversions coming to Allison conversions monster has has done some videos we work with monster on products there's some YouTube videos out there floating around or we're crazy and we answer our phone seven days a week so you can just pick up the phone and call us on to Sunday afternoon when you're not doing anything and we'll talk to you that's awesome hey thank you so much for telling me about this you're welcome thank you for your time [Music] you
