Cubase Recording to X32 or M32

to set up the routing on the board you go to routing app page over to card out and this is what is assigned to your card outs hi my local and coming from my sage box so set that accordingly to how you have your inputs configured launch Cubase start your new recording go up to devices to VST connections and in here you select your inputs I always get rid of the default bus and now you just go here for your preset go down to 32 mono now you'll have 32 mono inputs audio device x UF which is your Midas input 1 etc on down the line go ahead and close that then you just need to add your audio tracks and down here you're going to add your 32 tracks in mono of course name them track metrics so now you have your 32 tracks or spilled in and to change their input is right here mono one track to change to ma to check 3:103 and on down the line my handheld that I'm going to test with is on track 10 so I'll just assign that for illustration purposes okay now this is set this is set to record I got my handheld microphone turned on go ahead and record and as I talk into the microphone and make some noise you see the wavelengths in order to route the audio back from the board or sorry from your DAW to the board you would come over to your your inputs and you would have to change these to be coming from the card but also if you go into your library under routing you'll have a card playback option and you can load that and that'll load 1 through 32 coming from the card into the console a set of outputs and Cubase do that go back to your VST connections select outputs get rid of this bus like we did previously it's being used we don't care your dove it you go to preset and you go to your 32 models and now you have 32 mono outs and in order to set them out you gotta do the same thing I'll put 1 output 2 etc go back to our track 10 we go bus 10 now I'd assignment on the wrong room track go back signs 211 like it's supposed to be go back to mixer and load the preset for card playback now if we come back here it says my card is coming in card 26 into this channel which I don't want so if I select on here to go home go to config I pick my card inputs being card 10 because that's what I'm sending it as shown earlier I set my output to 10 so now if I come back here I'll press play on this track I will start to see that activity that I heard accorded previously coming back through my console
