Creating Product Links For Canva - Canva Tutorial

hi there in this video we are going to go over how you uh basically package your designs and your templates that you've created to sell um you know in canva we're not really downloading a file and selling that what we are selling is an editable um Design Within canvas so we're basically selling a link to a design okay so I'm just going to go over real quick how you um get these things get your designs ready to sell and what you provide to your customer so they can access the designs that they've purchased from you uh on the screen here I have uh two custom frames I've created uh the messy bun woman and the messy bun skull okay so I want to sell these two frames together and so I'm going to get them ready now to give my customer so what we'll do is we'll go up here to the right to share okay and we would click on template link okay um if you don't see it there click on more and it will be in your share area now make sure you are clicking on template link link all right so we'll click on that and we will get another prompt to create the link and now we will create that and we're going to copy that and I'm going to go up here to a new window and I'm just going to paste that in there and this is what you see then okay uh your customer will see a screen that says a template created by Rhonda J was shared with you start designing now and now they can open it in their canva account and they can edit it and do whatever they want with it and it's theirs and it is not going to um affect your design at all okay so once you have that link all right the template link here once you have that you're going to copy it and then you're going to go over here to file create new design and I typically just create Uh custom size in inches 8 by 11 okay and now we have our new page open okay and in here we are going to create a link to that template file okay so we're going to put going to put a little button here and we're going to add some text and we're going to say download template all right and we're going to make that a little bit bigger no that's not what I wanted to do why okay let's start over I don't know what happened there but something happened okay let's get our little button here put it where we want it I'm going to Center that right in the middle of the page text and download template all right make that bigger can change the font let's go up here change it to something a little more bold about there we go let's change it to that we'll put that right in the middle [Music] here okay and now this we are going to turn into a clickable link so select your text your three buttons link and now paste the link to your templates into there all right and now this is what you will be giving your customer you will download this as a PDF and this is what you will send your customer when they purchase a canva template from you so now let's add a little bit more to it here let's uh thank you for your purchase make a little [Music] bigger put that where you want [Music] it um now you can add if you have any questions or problems s please feel free to contact me at and then you can put your web your email in there so they know where to reach you if they do have issues using their template in fact let's put that up top and and then at the bottom you can put something fancy in there we could um let go to [Music] elements floral graphics and you know it doesn't have to be you don't have to put anything um or you could just put some cute I said some cute Graphics at the bottom um or whatever you want it's you know you're just making it however you want to make it it it's really completely up to you if you add any elements at the bottom if you're page or not and this is done this is what you are going to give your customers okay so once you have this you're going to Click Share download and we're going to change this to PDF and you want to make sure you choose PDF standard if you use PDF for print that will flatten and eliminate your links and you won't be able to use it so PDF standard and we're going to download that and I'm going to save that to my work in progress download template I would name it something else obviously you'll name it um to coincide with your file but now let me open that up in a new window and this is what your customer sees when they make a purchase from you for a canva template and they will be able to click this link and it will take them right to their template that they can now open and edit in canva okay um I hope this made sense if you have any questions about any part of this video please leave a comment ment below and I will answer you and get back to you as soon as I can and if you haven't yet make sure you hit the Subscribe and the notification buttons and I will see you next time
