Creating New Pokemon From Fears 2

[Music] hey guys Ron here and welcome back to the series in which I get inspiration from walks or trips or even my own room and create a few Pokemon based on what I see in the real world as I stroll I usually point out all the potential neat stuff I see that could make for some creative new Pokemon designs and then we'll put them together and draw some cool Pokemon so hope you follow along with this and make sure to check the videos in which I make Pokemon from my winter trip to Disney World humanity itself and most importantly my fears because like last time I'm gonna take fears and phobias and turn them into Pokemon that either trigger those fears have those phobias themselves or are juxtapositions of those fears and actually help us overcome those fears by creating a Pokemon that is very likable but instead of using my personal fears like last time I'm using fears that were suggested by my followers on Twitter so leave a like so I know you want more of these and make sure to check out the previous episode by clicking the card on the top right corner but for now let's focus on today's back to phobias so as you can see we have tons of suggestions some of which are phobias that I have myself like triple-triple phobia which is the fear of small holes as Joe Merrick suggested but I don't want to I don't want to do that cuz I wanna you know looking at pictures that trigger that some suggestions like fear of clouds kind of already did in the last video you know we made that whale Pokemon so check that out if you haven't and some Pokemon already represent fears that were suggested like fear of blood or needles would definitely translate into buzz well I really like buzz well so I don't I don't want to try to rival it some I'll save for future videos like fear of heights and some popular suggestions can't even be translated into like a Pokemon like the fear that the moments before you go to sleep could be your last moments alive or the fear of like large places you know or like agoraphobia that's not really a thing I get translated to a Pokemon unless that Pokemon just has that fear so which fear am I gonna pick for my first Pokemon I think we're gonna do claustrophobia one of the most well known phobias in existence the fear of tight spaces now naturally people would think that I would make a Pokemon who is is claustrophobic but that would be kinda boring so how about I make a Pokemon that is the traps others in walls a Pokemon who's like body and cases it's break so I looked up a ton of ambush predators and I'm not gonna I'm not gonna do that in front of you guys because a lot of them are spiders and I vowed not to make a spider Pokemon because I am extremely arachnophobia pin I do not want to look at some for reference but for the final idea I don't have to because I'm gonna make a spider Pokemon that has huge walls for the front legs that it uses to trap its break now there are spiders called trapdoor spiders I mean they don't have walls which I'm not gonna I'm not gonna show them they're spiders that trap you know their prey and things other the web so the Pokemon that I'm gonna create is gonna be a trapdoor spider with literal trapdoors let's do it so I'm just sketching the proportions for the head and abdomen and then the massive front like walls they'll be a bit furry and the face is a big deal it's what you fall in love with I really wanted the faces be a bit intimidating but I go through a ton of variations then I decided let's make let's make it to less scary and a bit goofy that doesn't help legitimize this Pokemon next I gave it this neat mohawk making it look like a punk Bounty Hunter then I decided hey maybe like the cipher the shape of his head should be more or lizard-like instead of a bug i scrapped this completely and made it more simple then made it more abstract I decided to give it a helmet since it's a Pokemon that camouflages in the wild so maybe it looks like a soldier I went full on helmet like before and then scrapped the entire idea how about giving it tiny eyes on the forehead and big eyes in the front and just make it more spider like I made it look like it's smiling a bit to make it slightly friendly looking and finally gave it more likes made it even cuter with closed eyes and finalise the head design before finally moving on to and finishing up the front legs the fur will look like leaves he'll have patterns that emulate leaves too and here he is cloths trap the trap door Pokemon it camouflages itself in the wild and places berries right in front of its face - Lauren pray when an unsuspecting Pokemon comes for a snack it will quickly shut his front legs and trap them there is no escape some smarter Pokemon who tell that the berries are trap we'll still try to swipe the berries assuming that cloth traps eyes are shut but the tiny second pair of eyes are still watching and vigilant it's a bug steal type with amazing defenses and a good attack stat it has the ability or arena track and compound eyes with the hidden ability swarm perhaps there are more versions of this Pokemon based on the environment who lives in I don't know but here's the shiny it'll definitely help during the fall I love shiny that turned foliage into fall leaves but again remember that these are not leaves it's just further than access camouflage its arms are as hard as steel its exoskeleton is super tough and not to mention it's a pretty big buck its walls are six feet tall the most popular fear that was suggested was the fear of the number 13 so its stats ended up having 13 sprinkled around now it's time for the next line so a very popular suggestion seems to be Kitab true phobia the fear of okay wow these are scary not gonna lie the fear of mirrors which stems from like the fear of reflections and ghosts so I'm gonna make a ghost that can enter reflections this is very common imagery we have tons of ghosts that enter exit mirrors in popular culture like Bloody Mary or and fatties three people thought that like mirrors could were demonic and could and that reflections could like steal your souls since this fear personally seems to also be based on the fear of human-like figures I'm gonna combine it with otamatone a phobia which is also a very very scary thing not gonna lie it's the fear of humanoid faces particularly those that are you know off creepy like masks or dolls or dummies like people are afraid of ventriloquist dummies right like that's a thing don't combine that with the fear of mirrors we're gonna make a Pokemon this definitely is connected to the uncanny valley the closer you get to a human-like figure in terms of like something that is we're supposed to represent humans the closer it gets to like looking like an actual human like this the clearer it is something's off which is the creepy I want to give the Pokemon a glass motif too since they come out of mirrors and when they exit the when they exit the reflection they kind of like they kind of glitch out like this like this like like like they glitch out and like they'd be the fractal eyes or whatever like they they come out of the mirror not too smoothly let's begin by making a pre-evolved form that will evolve into a scarier more terrorizing ghost it'll be a pretty straightforward ghost creepy face modeled after creepy masks and sharp rectangle fact poles that come out of its body like shards of glass I'll give it some of the tail and arms but it's still boring so let's get it more patterns maybe patterns that imitate blood coming out of the eyes that a lot of ghosts and pop culture have especially the ones that pop out of glass I'm gonna make it less explicit and I won't find a perfect blood tear design until the end now I wanted to look more angular like sharp glass less 3d perhaps almost entirely flat just making it sharper and more concise and then I realized that I would like it way more if you were smiling it finally looks like a Pokemon with a smile like this making it more fractal II and now I want to add a design that splits its body to show duality like a reflection I decide to take away the lines on the face and the final design now let's making a vault form that is more clearly inspired by horror creatures and those scary dummies that have been trilha quests use it'll be longer and more awkward looking I'm gonna have more trouble in its face than anything I've ever designed the question really is how scary do I make it and how do I translate the patterns on the face of the pre-evolved form into the patterns on this pokemons face I'm gonna give it horns from the free of all form and work on the body while I have artists block on the face I know I wanted to have its hair down like all the ghosts from horror movies and this is closer to what I want but now it's just now just looks like a samurai nothing like a Pokemon yet closer but how about we make his face black which will blend into his hair now I'm finally making it straight and falling down like the girl from the ring or The Grudge now I'm adding these exact patterns that split the body and also adding fractals from its abdomen that looked like shards of glass buuut abdomen also makes it look like it's top half is coming out of a mirror there you have it Terra fracked from terror refract and fractal evolves into Teraflex at level 38 they're the ghosts dark types known as the reflection Pokemon the pre-evolved form hides inside mirrors and other reflective objects it comes out to play whenever a child says its name three times its mischievous and likes to startle adults but is super playful and empathetic to innocent children when it devolves Tara flake begins to terrorize citizens around the region it can even enter and exit reflections in a blink of an eye it can inhabit any reflective surface even those on or inside a body some are even powerful enough to enter the reflection of a pokemons eye in the midst of a battle their bodies are constantly glitching out as if they're being pulled back into a parallel dimension they're also one of the fastest pokemon in existence meet shiny for centuries it has been said that these pokemon are from the second dimension and are driven wild by the third dimension new studies however have shown their beings of mostly light particles that are actually native to our dimension they seek material objects to inhabit since their DNA is very unstable it's a glass cannon with the ability clear body and infiltrator with the hidden ability contrary okay the last year will be pretty simple and super common these days germophobia or mysophobia now germophobia what pictures are we gonna get when we I wrote River folia I'm gonna mix that with the popular suggestion which is the fear of touch now so how about we create a little Pokemon that is germaphobic and scared of touching so that combines the two fears that we have and that about pokémon evolves into a monster that is dirty and infects whatever it touches so now this duality makes sense when we combine this with a pig because the domestic pig is actually one of the cleanest animals they have very hygienic practices and are but they're thought to be dirty since they wallow in mud - you know regulate their temperature - no feel it to cool down since they can't sweat like us so I'm gonna make the baby first it's basically a chubby standing Pig with a huge gland over its snout that looks like an n95 mess since the nose of a pig already is in the shape of a facemask you get the gist from this rough sketch but let's optimize it making it less plump and giving it a bit of fur making its nose a bit less ridiculous and trying to see how far I can push the mask design I mean this is pretty much it just reminding the design before heading on over to its evolved form the AFOL form is slightly based on a Bornean bearded pig so I'm just gonna sketch in the proportions of a standard wild pig that is standing up of course it'll look infected but it's actually immune to all the diseases it carries just making it as furry as I wanted to look and adding some dripping mud its entire lower half will be covered in a face design that will allow me to add some color to a mostly brown Pokemon adjusting some features and adding more scruffy fur because right now it looks like a Pokemon that is liquefying when it's actually just dripping wet so I'm toning down the drift and say hello to suis man from the scientific family of pigs and the saying spick-and-span which means clean it evolves from my some wine from mysophobia Suey day and swine this Pokemon is always born sick which dramatizes the baby even after the sickness is healed by his mother suis pan has a nose like gland that covers its snout and mouth that protects it from and filters out any juror it's front hooves have a rubber like texture that deflect any dirt this pokemon is obsessed with being clean but must eventually overcome its fear as a ground type trainers will often help it get over its fears by letting it experience the world when it evolves it gains the poison typing and is immune to almost all types of sicknesses it has conquered its fears and is ready to experience life it loves the feeling of mud since it regulates his body temperature but it may have become a little too reckless and carefree as it is known to track mud everywhere and leave prints while I can't get sick it is very dangerous to touch since his activities attract a slew of diseases on the surface of its skin here are their shinies mice and
