Create Movie Countdown Timer in CapCut

[Music] hi guys in this video I will show you how you can create this easy countdown timer and how you can import it to another video so let's not waste time and get right into it open cap cut and create a new project I will import a nice grid background that I found on freep.com and you can also download it from there click on plus icon to drop it down to the timeline and stretch it go up to the text and add text if you want your cont down to start from five then enter number five I will change that font to land tastic and make it a little bit bigger now with text highlighted move your playhead to the 1 second Mark click on command plus b to cut it and delete the right part move your playhead to the left but not quite to the beginning and add one more text cut it exactly where the number five ends and delete the right part right five move it down and adjust the size move play head to the end of the text highlight both texts click command plus C to copy and command plus v to paste it we are play head to the end of your second text and copy and paste it again do that three more times now highlight the last upper text and write zero then highlight the lower text and write number zero do that from one to five from right to left [Music] when you're done highlight the number five right click and create a compound clip do the same for all numbers then move them all to the same level now highlight the first number go up to animation and choose slide up animation and leave it on 0. 5 Second duration do the same for all the numbers we will also set animation for other text so highlight the first one go to animation choose zoom out animation and also leave it to 0.5 second duration repeat the same process on all the other text if we play it now we have something like this it looks good but we need also some sound [Music] effects let's go up to audio sound effects and search for movie countdown sound effects click on plus icon to drop it down then drag the handle to the first beat move the sound to the start of the number and let's hear it how it sounds good we will cut the sound before our last number zero because we'll use a different sound go up to sound effects and search for countdown sound effects 10 seconds click plus sign to drop it down move your playhead to the last bit cut it and delete the left part now drag the sound to our last number zero and align it let's play it now that looks good and we are done with the first part move your play head to the end of the both texts highlight the lower part that sticks out click command plus b to to cut it and delete the right parts if you want to import your countdown to some other video we need to put our countdown numbers to Green Screen so let's import green screen which you can also get it on Google click on plus sign to drop it down then highlight just the text and numbers copy them and paste them above the green screen then move your playhead to the beginning of the text highlight all sound effects copy them and paste them where the playhead is if you paste something it will always land where a playhead is now highlight everything from the beginning of the green screen right click click on range and select an arraya by clip then go up to the right corner and click export we will put our countdown now to some other video clip I will use one that I got on pexels.com drop it down to the timeline and also import our countdown that we export previously drag the countdown above the clip with countdown highlighted go up to cutout chroma key Color Picker and click on that green colar and pull the strength to the maximum now all you have to do is res size the countdown and place it wherever you want let's play to see how it turned out so if you enjoyed the video it would really help me if you would hit that like button so I know I'm on the right track and I will create more videos like this thanks for watching see you in the next one
