Crazy Voodoo Trick Tutorial! (Super Easy)

hey guys so today i'm going to teach you a really cool trick for my own book beyond fantasy that i call almost voodoo it's like a voodoo trick but uh not quite so sort of like almost voodoo but let's get into it alright got a deck of cards here you can see all the cards are good and shuffled in fact i'll get one more shovel just for a good measure now what i'll try to do is a feat that is so impossible only a few magicians ever attend it all right but um i'm pretty confident it's gonna work this time all right so what i want you to do is take the deck and cut some cards a few and turn them face up on top that's pretty good but let's make it even more impossible cut one more time and turn this face up as well now there's one part in the deck that you cut to and you could cut to any of these cards but there's one card face down uh right here take a look at that card i won't look and let's see we'll put it back in the middle of the deck right around the bottom over here and put these on top as well so your card is good and buried in the deck now even though you cut the deck you did everything um i made a prediction on the back of this business card about what the top card of the deck might be after you cut it in fact it's right here i think that'll be the eight of diamonds let's take a look um let's see no way that's crazy it's actually the eight of diamonds by the way was your carve the eight of diamonds it wasn't well that really wasn't part of the trick but i will show you something better uh it's kind of um you know i'll just show you let's see we take a match here i learned this while i was traveling if you take the match against the ink like this and really focus on your card something crazy him might start to happen to watch this prediction actually changes right into that three clubs your card watch this match is still hot if i just wave it over like this this card actually also changes into your card three clubs almost like voodoo all right so here's what you'll need for this trick you will need some kind of piece of paper like a business card or just a scrap piece of paper and a regular black ink pen and a friction pen now what a friction pen is is basically just an erasable ink pen and the way that it erases is by friction and uses heat to make it go away so of course a lot of magicians adapt this principle with a flame to make the ink disappear for magic tricks right now you can find these at stores like you know walmart staples targets stuff like that and you can also find them just online amazon or anywhere they sell pens but if you can't really buy any extra pens right now that you don't really need let me know i'll be happy to send you one because i have a few extras laying around and you'll also need a heat source like a matches or a lighter works too anything with uh even a candle could work too that'd be pretty cool all right so the way this works the three of clubs hides perfectly in the egg of diamonds and here's how you do that so take the friction pin and make a big diamond shape like this it doesn't have to be good i mean i'm not really an artist but just whatever kind of diamond shape you can do uh do that now with your regular pen uh what you want to do is make a three right beside it like this and then a club inside of the diamond so just draw three circles inside of the diamond forming a club shape like this all right so also take your friction pen and form an eight using the three like this so next uh take your regular pen and color in the uh you know the club next just color in the rest of the diamond to hide the club and what you have for all intents and purposes is a prediction of the eight of diamonds so just have these together uh ready to go in your pocket or something like that and here's how you set the deck up so take the three of clubs and the eight of diamonds so three clips goes on top followed by the eight of diamonds second from top then just take any random card and put that on top of everything and you're ready to go so here's the selection process and the controls so what you want to do is essentially cut deeper force all right so they take the deck and ask them to cut you know a few cards and turn them face up so that's pretty good let's make it even more impossible cut even deeper this time i turn this face up as well so whoops take the deck back spread through say look you could have cut anywhere but there's one face down card that you cut to and now when you're doing this what you want to do is straight over this top card this random card and as you close up just get a break below it like this now lift up all the cards above the break and then raise your hand to show them their card in this case the three of clubs the force card so what you're going to do is make it appear as though you just sort of do this and push your card over to to control it right but what's happening is you're doing blue cervan's thumb off switch so in a sweeping action i just take your fingers and drag over that bottom uh random card that you stole right so in a fast motion it's like this and it's supposed to just look like you just did this right just push over their card but what's happening is you're switching it for a random card like this but at fast speed and when turning over this packet it's very well hidden like this so take the card put it down there and then push the rest of the cards back on top so the situation now is that um on top is their card followed by the eight of diamonds nicely look i made a prediction about what the top card might be even after you cut the deck into everything so that's when you go into your pocket and you grab out the prediction say look i made a prediction that the top card will be the eight of diamonds and just set it down face up so take the deck and as if to check if you are right like this let's see what it is i think the diamonds uh get ready for a double lift and the only time the beginner uh method is excusable is right now so take advantage of it right so just reveal the back grab two cars let's see oh no way it is eight of diamonds right you get ready for your double lift that way so turn it over and say look it actually doesn't get the diamonds and that's of course a double so turn it back down and just say wait was your car to get the diamonds and of course they'll say no so put that down and then that's when you go into your pocket and grab the matches say look you know what sometimes this happens but uh i learned something while i was traveling and if you take a match and you light it over the the ink something strange might happen and here's where the cool part happens so you do you like the match and just hold it under the ink there and that visibly turns into the three of clubs that frozen ink panda disappears so take the match out or put that match out say look that the match is still hot so watch if i take the diamonds wave it over the the hot match
