Crazy Volcanic Brown's long lost mine.

everyone Frank here so this we've got a really cool adventure Ben was up with me spent a whole week with me and he was a viewer that contact me and he hasn't been around my thoughts about but he works up north in the old fields up in goss to see Gold Rush and stuff he's a mechanic out there so but anyways real cool guy and gone not a lot experience and mine's about a lot of balls maybe I'll just go anywhere so on we spent whole weekend we had a lot of fun we filmed long lines and he ever got I hadn't had any experience with ropes and stuff but just the young guys just kept some stuff real quick end up and we went into this mine though this is a really interesting line it's kind of a bit of a local legend there was a guy by name of volcanic brown or crazy ground or bed but whole bunch other stuff yeah just a real local character around the Grand Forks area and he found this mine up in the volcanic Creek area and he made lots of but he started a town site there and tried to sell made a big brag he said it was gonna be the biggest biggest mine since Phoenix it was gonna be just a huge thing though around waves are gonna be coming in in this big town it was gonna be a big deal and nothing really ever became about but just you know just a real fascinating character that that looked here and actually died in the gold fields looking for slumach's gold so lots of history there and nobody really knows talking about this line and we weren't really expecting to see much of anything there we knew there was a big crosscut tunnel that went in about seven 800 meters and we found it and there's been nobody in there for a long time minutes are really fascinating mine according to the record so it wasn't very much gold or it's supposed to be a copper mine about we didn't find that at all I think it was really expensive mine there was a lot of stuff there and a lot of interesting members and stuff still left there so yeah so join us and we'll show you the crazy old volcanic here that has crazy old bastard I kept who's name was something volcanic Brown and he made the big brag that this could be a bigger than Phoenix hardly have any equipment at all we just got a ladder and some rope but we're gonna do a little MacGyver in here today and Ben's pretty sure he can get down there we know we can get down it's just a matter if we can get over him this really isn't that far down the lighters sitting on a place where it starts to go down a little steeper but not real steep yeah it's good thing as tide it has to be tied you don't have to worry about the bottom the ladder scooting way on hey you should become a well digger you know that's pretty easy okay well let's go down there and have a look and see what we can see that Frank come down okay let's see what crazy old volcanic burrow discovered up in here it's gonna look like a good nannies differ at all the bitch it's all one convert it's gonna be a long cold winter look at the size of retinas yep it will join up to that other compartment down there I could see light down there yeah that's the bottom that shot well this is a must been the first decline in history seen but a copper here doesn't look like it was making anyone to rich you're supposed to happen to drag all this freakin I still want you guys we need to get closer to you though looks like there might be a maybe probably beyond Royals of the shafts but don't see me this is a trick Holly this is easy way you guys wanna learn how to tie a rope up Rafi this works for extension cords everything real good you just go like that with your hand and you go like this Mia so you have two loops like this you go that way you go this way keep doing it like that till you get to the end when you do this that hardly ever tangles when you undo it [Applause] make these loops as big as you can open your arms as wide as you possibly can but learn just about anything stupid on the internet like that guy that tall sup powder is no good after 50 years don't believe everything you hear on the Internet it wasn't as good explosives and that's an idea work get some good explosives but does any viewers out there to have good explosives sudden does not in the mail yeah best a blocks leftover a good piece of tail and then just rough this up this place you can then just go back through this few times you know basically tie a rope and usually you just untie and throw it down a hole and walls they won't feed out without getting caught the noise happen that way yeah so Ben just went down this chapters first time on the thing and it's just gonna send the Riggin up and I'm gonna go down and join him down there somewhere this is the smaller hole we figured we hit it with some first looked like when we seen it on the camera and we set the camera down there interesting stuff so he'd come back and go down so Ben's survived his training he's a stranger yeah but they don't connect it looks like it's just right beside each other this is the one that's not as steep as the other one but it goes up under there then as far as we can see they're not connected which is kind of strange because it's really like 30 good apart there's another goes down into there but it looks plugged but maybe not we could attract our own down there Oh [Music] [Music] [Applause] we got something for troubles at least just hang on your ropes tangled over log here watch them climb break down the wall good well it's pretty dry down here watch your head there's our box we're in but ya be too happy if I knock them off the wall how far does it on this rope up here and I'll back up and paint it up you can use it to play something that works good yeah if we're gonna run hotel down here pretty neat louder yeah it's in pretty good shape we should maybe see if we can take it that's short enough that might be neat for the end of the shoots gonna be one set and everything yeah [Music] that's the bigger danger just like a little sitting there yeah but a rotten Tim barrel in it very there you always say it's not but you're gonna fall Superboy yes now it's not very far down big rut since Michael Seymour doesn't it's gonna fall it's only about another three feet I hope we don't need any more ropes because if we do we'll help go back up you gotta bird the four out of here it's kind of cool a little pockets you take it over your eyes I'll take it out doesn't look like nothing special to mean but it continues on down what's a little pockets in here my flared hard to believe that they hold all this or up I chopped yeah you know they really taste a lot of beans in here well you can see the the blind levels in here but maybe not you're rich you're probably looking for gold but if they have to pack all this stuff up it wouldn't it back and copper up huh yeah look we might find we might feel a pop out somewhere else because they seen the bottom of the Rope the tail yeah this rock fell into here so this gotta go I'm with your there going down you can see some eyes or something down there yeah here's an old lighter on ears on this way too huh yeah just you know just a little tricky there though - okay yeah I think it's just like it might be to rot in here now okay I could get on that ledge actually looks like it goes like good boards they're like a false floor oh yeah no there's some kind of a rig in there that they built something there in a frame of some type well that's weird never thought come in somewhere we're quite a ways lower now what about I think I could hop into there probably [Music] you make a run for that lick but maybe or other joylent Denver yeah yeah okay well I guess we'll go get a rule you'll get down this section for their toxic water this just goes to work then underneath that timber there's a guess a winter another chef going down now take a walk down there sleeping it up holy you know they're still here in the Frank probably walk kinda long there cold what's good winds up goes by the way back from timbering they also continues down here right away is yeah oh yeah some ladders there walk along here a little bit rest it's some feeling back in them yeah that goes way up goes
