Courts of Heaven in Scripture

verse four and I want to start off with a prayer tonight put your hand over your heart probably God we just ask you right now and open the eyes of our heart so that we can understand this new teaching that many of us have not heard yet and those of us who have heard are still working it out so body god I pray that your Holy Spirit will come down we'll speak to each of us individually then there will just be cardio ketosis from your heart to our heart direct download from heaven so we can understand your word at a different level now in Jesus name and everybody's very good okay the first thing you have to understand about the courts of heaven is you have to understand who you are now you're going to say that most of you here are mature Christians you've been walking to the Lord for a while and you just say well I Know Who I am I'm a child of God I'm a servant of God I'm a steward of God I'm a I'm a sinner I'm a sinner saved by grace and on and on if I ask each one of you who you were you would have an answer because you have settled this in your heart but what I'm going to ask you to do tonight is this I was speaking to someone who's not a believer recently and I send it in somehow this was going to be so interesting and God would just use it to open up their eyes and they would see the truth and instead they wrote me back and said oh yeah that's further proof that the Bible contradicts itself right now was there take away as the Bible contradicts itself and I said I thought to myself I said that was not the feedback house and so I pondered on this for a few minutes and I got to thinking this way here's a different way of looking at this you may have the answers to all your questions tonight and those answers can all be true but I believe that in God's Word there are different levels of Revelation right so I can have a revelation there's a true godly biblical revelation and that is that I'm a sinner saved by grace is that true anybody here like that but I can also say that I'm a friend of God any friends have gotten out there and I might even be able to go out and say that I'm a priest right anybody people say that how about this can anyone say that I'm a child of God a child of God okay now somebody could come alive now a Bible contradicts itself see whoopers makes their a job under two dates or a sinner one person thinks they're a steward so what I'm going to say to you tonight I'm not asking you to throw away anything that you already know I'm just trying to say hey here's something else this is something else that's revealed in God's Word so so it begins with Ephesians chapter 1 verse 4 and what you're going to see tonight you're going to see I've put together four by messages into one so I'm going to move along rather quickly I'm not filling in all the blanks just let the Holy Spirit fill in the blanks or text me or message me with questions later but let's go with visions chapter 1 verse 4 just as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world that we would be holy and blameless before him now I went and looked up in the Greek before the foundation of the world and here's what it means before the foundation of the world so wait a minute I was born in nineteen and how could God known me before the foundation of the world if I was just born on just a few years ago how did they lovably be okay well my earth suit was not around since before the foundation of the earth but really what do we teach insurance under the teach you something that everyone here is heard and it goes like this it's it I am a spirit I have a soul and I live in a body right everybody agrees on that okay so my spirit man had nothing to do with my my body man my body man is of just a few years old but my spirit man who knows apparently before the foundation of the earth and he could take the Apostle Paul at his word okay now scientists have gotten so good with technology they take pictures of right when the egg and the sperm come together right and right when the a quiz that's all right yes the date of the sperm sorry you didn't know we were getting sex ed tonight good day when the egg and the sperm come together grief is I go there's a flash of light that's what scientists know there's a flash of light so we were known before the foundation of the earth now that's our spirit man now if I were to ask any of you here what is more real is your spirit man or real or is your meat puppet body more real well we sort of feel like the meat puppet part of us is more real but we would all agree that what's real really most real is our spirits correct everybody with me on this okay so God knows us as a spirit being before we ever get this meat puppet that we're in right now for our pursuit that's what I like to call it's our pursuit now some of you are thinking but wait a minute let me give these spirits on that well how about this are we ambassadors of Christ right so if we're ambassadors in work they were citizen another place you can't be an ambassador to your own flags right can be like oh those are words you have a little an ambassador and he can't do that okay so we all agree that we are the most real part of us is the spirit right any anybody okay so and we also agree that our citizenship in somewhere else is that correct okay so let's go up to Ephesians chapter 1 verse 20 and 21 when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand and heavenly places far above all rule and authority and power and Dominion and every name that is named not only in this age but is the one to come who did I think there's a new age now when you run into your new age friends you can say come into the new age you are called yeah totally let me show you got a book about it right here okay now let me say this is Jesus who's raised up from the dead and got seated him at his right hand in heavenly places how far away is heaven jesus said it really right here I had right to give this up it's another dimension we live in three dimensions time is the fourth dimension okay heaven fifth sixth seventh dimension I think scientists are up to like 11 to 24 dimensions okay you guys track it with me okay so now here's an interesting thing River infusions chapter 6 we kind of all get into a piece in Chapter 6 without powers and principalities right those are Luciferian powers they're not demons they're high-level Luciferian powers and Satan is it has authority over where the air right so when we're in our feet I'm going to wear I heard soon down on the earth then all those Luciferian powers are above us right yeah that so what so you know the example is a courtroom when you go into court and they say you do under Sam the charges against you they're not really saying or do you comprehend what you did they're saying you stand under the authority of this court so when you're under something you're under its authority so when our spirit man is hooked on to our earth puppet and we're underneath all these Luciferian powers of by the way if I have an hour for each one of these sermons but get the CD I used to say get the CD but nobody knows what a CD is anybody here old enough the opening the email right there but do I have a long time I would explain to you that there's a whole bunch of Greek words in there that outline who these loose Luciferian powers are so when Jesus went up to heaven and he seated above right now Jesus is up there like shoo we're still stuck down here but as Jesus figured out how to get above almost Luciferian powers so that was a good thing right so let's jump over to a beaches chapter 2 verse 6 and what happens heiresses and he raised up and seated us with him in we places yeah anybody happy about the heat rises heated up with him above in heavenly places yeah that's what I'm going for okay so now but so but really it feels right now like we're down here in our Earth's ooze but could it be could it be that our earth suits are here but our spirit is in heavenly realm above all of those Luciferian powers right because really what we're doing is we're kind of using these understandings where the Bible people had to kind of describe what they were seeing right and really you know we might someday find out how you know all of heaven isn't like one molecule over here stuck to the side here you know what I'm saying in other words if we're talking about things that are happening in another dimension we're just trying to bind earthly words to explain them that Meghan says yeah okay remember Revelation chapter 19 verse 11 is okay let me just stop me summarize this point so this point is here is that we are we all agree that we are spirit we have soul we live in a body we all agree with that okay we also read right here the Apostle Paul says we've been raising up with him and seated in heavenly places we can all agree that the Apostle Paul wrote this and it's in our Bibles in that draft so we're all the same page we also agree that we're all citizens of heaven yes everybody in agreement on that okay I'm going to skip that one and I want to go now again they can't skip it okay Revelation chapter 19 verse 11 I saw heaven opened and behold a white horse and you sat on it is called faithful and true and in righteousness he judges and wages war so he judges but he wages war so now most of my life is a Christian quite short life here I well if you ask me I would say that Christians talk about their walk with God in terms of a battle okay we got our sword up and we're chopping up the demons and we're going to battle we're going to why we see ourselves as soldiers anybody else ever saw themselves as a soul here okay all right we're still living in the same world together just the double check okay but look at this here is here is Jesus and he judges and he wages war now I'm going to tell you something that I found in the last two and a half years we in the fall of 2014 the Lord told me to do this ad on fire and I'm sure many of you have come over and participated in this the Lord's told me if you can get 80 people the table for six nights in a row six seventy nights in a row I'm going to do something amazing well we did that and like nothin necessarily amazing happen in the fall of 2014 but the spring of 2015 in the room in January that's when I met rich brown who teaches our Wednesday night stewards of the mystery stewards of the truth and I almost started traveling and running into this whole new group of people so I've been both of you know my story I've learned when to babble in oh four and I was you know I was like the first guy here in Reno who's telling people you know about the prophetic renewal of teaching on the prophetic renewal out of the prophets coming and we just did all the prophetic renewal stuff and that's what I did up through 2015 and then I still do we cells and prophets come and we still honor all that teaching again remember let's go back to the beginning of my message this is not about throwing away what you already know is adding a different level to it for instance I'll give you a quick example you know in the old days we would teach people have prophesized we have prophets come and things like that now we look at it that prophets are people who are able to step into the spirit and read our books every one of you has a book in heaven that has everything read em yes it's in the Bible no I don't have time to teach you tonight but we all have that so really what a prophet does is a prophet they will step into the spirit kind of like pull themselves over the fans and look down the time line because what is time it's a dimension okay if we're it were if our home is in heaven we are multi-dimensional beings hold on dimensional needs I know some of you are like hormones you guys completely off his rocker okay anybody going to be raptured when your rapture are you a multi-dimensional being you will be if you are multi-dimensional you're just in this dimension now you're going to be another nother dimension so we are multi-dimensional beings today thank you I am a spirit I love it okay so so back to revelation 19:11 I think most of the church that I've been around has seen themselves as warrior in a battle it's all about work 90 it's all about finding and we're all going to fight and what happens when you go to war and you fight what happens to some people they did can they become casualties all of us can think of people who are great warriors for God and they became casualties okay so look at this other thing here in Revelation 19:11 Jesus judges and makes war oh wait a minute hold on maybe instead of making just maybe more maybe there's something else we can do now let me tell you that what's happened over the last two and a half years is I seen a whole new thread of teaching in the Bible that I never saw for all those years that I was a Christian and it's all about government okay it's all about government okay so think about this are we on the battlefield early in the courtroom well I'm going to say that most Christians today are on battlefield now in the natural would you rather be on a battlefield for the portrait probably neither is the correct answer but yeah given the choice the courtroom courtroom like aircon cushy chairs you know you can play candy crush your facebook snapchat right that's what you can do okay so here's the thing I'm going to do I brought my invisible whiteboard with me here so for those of you who see visible whiteboards and if you don't practice because you just look carefully okay so think of the government of the United States we have the president the executive branch we have the judicial branch and we have the legislative branch okay now what what is in heaven doesn't does a lot of people think that the United States was formed as a Christian country okay and so maybe our government we have some downloads from heaven so maybe our government is a lot of heavenly government so in the first bit in the executive branch who would be like the president in heaven God the Father that's correct okay could be Father Son and Holy Spirit really again let me tell you something you know this is a new teaching it's been around about seven years there's a lot of people out there teaching it but the guy who really started it is Robert Henderson and I actually learned a lot of this stuff from some of some other people and then Robert Henderson came here because my wife is in an apostolic group that you can only get in by invitation it's not like you just pay 50 bucks and sign up you have to be invited Chuck tears dust sheets Robert Henderson all those people are in that group with my wife and so my wife asked Robert Henderson to come and Robert Henderson shows up two months ago or whatever it was and he talks about how God told him to start a group called global reformers he didn't want to do it and what happened in Roberts really open about this Robert says look I went to South Africa seven years ago and they were doing this in crazy incredible job but they had no way of talking about it so I just put words to it wrote a book and that's how he got to where he is today just saw this new thing that people were doing in South African said hey this is great I'm gonna write this in a book and that's how he got starting super humble guy and really nice and we really hit it off and so I asked him I was asking on Sunday morning paper you come back in this guy's you know get invitations to go everywhere because this whole courts of heaven thing is blowing up I mean you can buy the books at Walmart now so you know that's just where we're at so anyway so he says here's what I'm I need a ruffian so here's what I want I like you and landing to be on my international leadership team and I want River Rock to be one of 50 global reformers hub in the world and so I'm going okay there's actually 17 now can they add one in Switzerland and one in Austria Australia Australia and so what what Robert this whole teaching is brand-new so we're just kind of learning so we're kind of learning together okay so here we go we've all decided everyone in the room agrees rather be in the courtroom that on the battlefield right does that sound a lot more fun okay so and here's another part of it another part of it is you don't want to go to battle until you've got the courtrooms and you'll understand that a little bit better we're doing good I'm going to make it okay oh that's another teaching we have wavy on here but it's how to go on to bridge time because remember heaven is it another dimension and we're interdimensional people we've all agreed for interdimensional people right well times another dimension - so can we do something out rich time where we get a lot more done in the same amount of time as other people that doesn't not know okay so here we go let's go to Luke chapter 18 verse 1 to 8 oh there was the point I was trying to make is I used to what I really noticed is that when I was in when I was a pen a traditional Pentecostal I would read the Bible and everything that was kind of tossed it with job out it I knew all the Pentecostal scriptures right and then when I got into did apostolic prophetic movement that I was in for a little over ten years then everything I thought was apostolic and prophetic okay now I'm doing this everything I see is governmental ah I see the governmental now about that I don't see the other stuff it's just I didn't used to see the governmental so that's why I'll tell people courts have a lot are very reliable well it's absolutely everywhere in the Bible but your brain has to be trained okay your brain creates neuron paths now I'm not going to try get to having a science tonight I do actually and the proud owner of two science degrees which I rarely point out except when people start telling me they're politically correct edge of science and I offer how many science degrees do you have as you said really smart actually out of science degree Oh laughs to them let me share a couple then change limb 18 one through eight this is Jesus now he was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not lose heart now one of the things what one of the teachings out there is that really every time you've ever prayed you've gotten in the courts of heaven now see this is one of the difficult things that we have to bend our eyes are back so everyone here is prayed as long as they've been in Christian right and if before that you ever played pinball or video games I went to Bethany Bible College we always said there was more prayer in the pinball room than in the chapel when you venture too dumb to go up to involve us it was like candy crush but a long time ago so think about it when you go into prey is it your pursuit that's praying is it your soul that's praying or is it your spirit that's praying well I don't know if I want them just saying it it's probably not your suit it's probably so so you when you go into pray you may not realize it because you're not seeing into those other dimensions but you may be in the courts all the time but you don't understand the protocol to the court or how operating the court and so you're not your prayers are not as effective if they could be and one of the things I want for all of you is your prayer life to be much more effective with anyone like a better practice is there anybody here who feels like they have brave destiny with God but it's been sort of held up a little bit anybody like that nobody unknown time okay good all right so Luke chapter 18 verse 1 it's talking about prayer watch this it's talking about prayer Jesus is going to tell a parable to talk about prayer okay verse 2 saying in a certain sitting there with a judge Wow well there's judges right there there's a courtroom scene and I didn't even notice that that was a courtroom scene before here we go who did not fear God and did not respect man and there was a widow in that city that she kept coming to him saying give me legal protection for my opponent now in the courtroom of Japan Haslam in the courtroom who do you think the judges your father would you feel more comfortable in an earthly court and you were in there and your father was would that make you feel good that would be nepotism wouldn't it you'd almost be like I want to go to court yeah let's get this taken care of the court is rigged in your favor amen hey ro now there was a widow in that city and she kept coming to him saying give me legal protection from my opponent and for a while so here's a court case she's going to court for a while he was unwilling but afterward he said to himself even though I do not fear God nor respect man yet because this Widow bothers me I will give her legal protection otherwise by continually coming she will wearing out now bear in mind Jesus darts this parable I'm going to tell you a parable so you can understand prayer you see what I'm saying okay and the Lord said hear what the unrighteous judge said now will not God bring about justice for his elect who cry out to him and will he delay long over them so now Jesus just said he'd forget about the judge and he just goes right to God God oh my god bring about justice for his alleged you cry out to all just both wait a minute where are we whoa time out we were just in the courtroom and but um now where Jesus Jesus is they yeah eight look if this unrighteous judge will do this what will God do okay so think about this okay here's I here's a little bit of behind and I actually this is the sermon I'm working on and I don't even have one scripture that I can remember but it's a sermon in progress but just gives you a little peek into the future does everybody kind of go along with the idea that the earth that we are in a region agree with me that the spirit realm that heaven was more real than Earth there are scriptures that talk about the earth being a shadow of heaven right so think about it this way think about out in front of your yard you're out in and in your yard one day one of your trees is making a shadow on your driveway and you don't like it - the ice isn't melting off your driveway because there's a shadow from the tree and so all day long you're out there trying to move the shadow you spend every day working on the shadow that would be pretty your neighbors went it would it be better to go cut that tree down so all of us would agree the way to change the shadow is not to move the shadow it's to move the tree but what are Christians doing Christians are all on the earth in their earth suits trying to change things on the earth instead of changing them and so the earth of the shadow of heaven why don't we change things in heaven so when you're thinking about why I prayer life hasn't been working or why things aren't working the way they should maybe you've got to start changing things in heaven and let me give this to you as a body maybe all the changes you've seen have actually been in heaven and that they change on earth right that's your prayer like you're praying to a god in heaven and you're asking them to change something really in heaven and then the shadow changes down here on earth but it only happens some of the time and you've been frustrated with that there's a possibility right first eight I tell you that he will bring about justice for them quickly he's talking he swings on talking about the judge to talk about God boom just like Bo the one minute we're in a courtroom next month we're talking about God okay I tell you that he will bring about justice for them quickly okay however ones it's not a man and that's another thought that it goes into okay so think about this when I was the first year I don't learn about the court to heaven I ran and Dan Mahoney were here where any of you here for grants and Mahoney oh yeah cute so I was driving them from the GSR over to the church and also that occurred to me that the night before I had said to myself I'm going to take this issue to the courts it wasn't a big issue but I was just like I kind of think that's the course so when I think something is that my spirit my earth suit or my soul my soul right mind will emotion that's what your soul is mine will in emotions so now my soul my mind will and emotions said I think that's a guard but oh that's my to-do list the next morning I woke up and the whole issue was all resolved and I'm told as France and they just laughed they go out of my life they said yeah because you're your soul your mind will and emotions told your spirit to go to court so while you were off having a service and and sleeping and playing candy crush you know you're you could sound like a candy crush I want you to know I've got a month and only passed one level so okay so now you're like wait how cool is out how cool does that I mean how many of us have fasted and praying locked ourselves in the prayer closet and pray for years and decades and got no results but yet all I do is go and I think that's court man mode next day wake up is done would you like to live your life of that okay so here here's here's the thought okay I'm going to just propose a bottle for you just on the contrary every time you try to build you've gotten prayers you've actually in the spirit gone into the courtroom but because you're not seeing into heavenly realms you're not really seeing what's going on you're just kind of like when you're when your mind will emotions start praying you're just in the courtroom and you're a multi-dimensional being but you don't see everything so watch how multi-dimensional being thing works according to some scientists every second you get two billion pieces of information downloaded into your brain yeah and again this is a whole sermon I don't have a you're not going to details the Reader's Digest okay so out of those two billion pieces of information you get your mind filters out up 200 of them okay now let's just suppose the pastor Eric and is correct on this and that that you your spirit and been around for outside of time it's not even measured by time and then your parents the egg the zygote coming the egg and you know what they tell the sperm and egg come together the flash of lightning happens now you're here and you know what little babies don't you love to be even a guy there's something about little babies you know there's just something tricky you just want to be around what yeah what yeah you like being around them is your spirit man realizes hey they just came out of heaven they're just brand-new right and there's a psychic tripping and they're not always happy are they well why not if they were just going to happen you got who do not happen oh man you would not be happy either okay tells you a lot right and then you get to be like three years old and you're you've got your invincible friend from heaven right because of you heavens right here which is the same as the Bible says right so you're just tripping along one day talking to your invisible friend and what does your mom do if she comes along and what do you do and don't be gone into your invisible branch that isn't real you've got to live here on earth where it's real and then you go into kindergarten and the system gets ahold of you right and they start telling you what's real and what's not and if you think in fact it was really strange i I was just I usually turn all I can sit Congress on for about ten minutes before I take my three plot down today turns out of Fraser I know you guys are going to go tap pastors so plays candy crush take snaps watches Fraser will show a long time ago unity my friend but it was the Fraser show where the the what was the cows name they're artists no no this is Fraser prehung Racer anyway I don't know I just watch the baby she definitely she's she has visions and she was had visions and of course Frasier and Niles were just falling all over themselves to tell her you can't have visions visions aren't real so we live in a world where even if we're seeing if we're a seer some of you out there are seers you can see into the other dimensions but everybody is going to tell you no you can't right they're in on God I mean even in some churches there are some churches if you go up and you tell the pastor you know I'm pretty much seen in heaven all the time you know by the way let me tell you about the two angels and behind you you might be persona non grata in the church much less in the world so there's very few places in this world you can go and in the face space to say oh I can see into heavenly realms would you all agree with me on that okay so there you go so okay I'm just gonna change my notes around just a hair here okay so the Bible was written in Greek and Hebrew okay and it's translated into English now the general gist of what I'm telling you is just a general idea of what happens over and over in translations okay the word translated Church in the English versions is the word ekklesia now the endlesssea of Jesus time was actually one of the governmental bodies in the city-state of Athens so when Jesus was talking to his contemporaries and calling them the ekklesia they do that he was talking about a governmental body okay Oh excellency again all that went over in Athens yeah I get it right we're we're this governmental group okay and so let's just suppose we get over to Keith James right and he decides he's going to translate the Bible okay and then the translators gonna come on man King is not going to take this at all you know so he's got going King James and say look turns out that this group of believers that follow Christ butchy has called them the government and the King says no I don't think so on the government in the single government and so they found a Scottish word called here by the way the 1611 version of the King James Bible Rim in Middle English known you cannot read it you're reading a 70 25 edition that was put modern English King James English was actually 1725 long after King James but they took the works here and change it to church and so now when everybody around goes oh you know church as you know this is the steeple people right can anyone do that do it for us on a very serious hears of people open the door do people round of applause for grinding but what if Jesus was correct anyone here want to stick your neck out and say there's some chance that Jesus was correct on this when he called a gun okay now so actually we're supposed to be on government well let's go back to my invisible whiteboard here we got an executive judicial legislative okay so we so the ekklesia is a government so why don't act tonight we start reading our Bible and looking for all the government stuff in it because I will tell you it is all over throughout the Bible okay what if what if there was power out there that did not want you to know how powerfully under here what if you are so powerful that you could just destroy the devil's and all of this plan single-handedly and the only thing the devil could really do is just simply keep it hidden from you by creating a paradigm where your paradigm is you went to the people and that defeats with the rest of the peoples and you didn't know that you had power to legislate from heaven what if you could go up into heaven into the courts of heaven and get judgments from God the Father that would then be carried out by angelic beings all while you were asleep and you just wake up in the morning it's all good good wouldn't that be more fun right that would be more fun women and it's more fun to be effective so we need to start this is why the courts of heaven message is really a message about who you are you are going to walk out of here you're all going to walk out of here I think Lord willing to the creek don't rise you will all walk out of here question is how will you see yourself will you see yourself as a sinner saved by grace oh man I was on the mission field of with Cathy do you remember this there was one guy if you're watching I apologize but I meant to tell you this in the Philippines in this big t-shirt that says I'm a sinner saved by grace stop it that's not how we're supposed to see ourselves we're supposed to see ourselves as Manifest sons and daughters of God part of the act Lesya the government of God with amazing powers to change things in ewa that then change on earth that's who we are and i want to stay by the level of plaiting that most of you are not friend you give this yet try again okay let's round one more time you are not both think about yourself the sinners saved by grace but as Manifest sons and daughters of the Almighty God [Applause] thank you okay let's just go to a couple quick scriptures and then we're going to do some other stuff Zechariah three you know people are no where's the courtroom situation in heaven well there's another of them I'm not going to get all of them but revelation four and five really is my favorite we are definitely not getting there tonight the Zechariah three is where we're going to go right now is we may not get to Joe with Joe chapter one bring the courtroom scene okay let's do that when I'm three and I'm going to kind of pick up the pace here a little bit then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord and Satan standing in his right hand to accuse him so we all know that Satan is the accuser of the Brethren that's his job that's why it is witchcraft when you talk bad about another Christian because the devil really can't hurt Christians but if you talk bad about another Christian the devil piggybacks on that and uses your power to destroy that person that's witchcraft sorry sorry you came tonight that's it don't do that okay the high priest standing before the angel Lord right and our priests are we free right and we kind of remember when Jesus tore the veil right when Jesus died he didn't avail but he died the veil storm okay and high priest God we all got to step through the bay so we're all like this high priest so think of yourself in this story like the high priests oh the high priests is standing before the angel of the Lord Satan standing in his right hand to accuse him now here's the thing about a courtroom if you get summoned to a court and you aren't there to defend yourself you've your no-show what happens to your case you lose what percentage of Christians out there are losing a bunch of cases right now almost all because this teaching is a very path reached hardly anybody relatively so nobody's showing up to court and the devil is waiting because he's accusing you and you're not there to defend yourself thank you all thinking about go-go the Lord said to Satan the Lord rebuke you Satan indeed the Lord has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you is not a brand plucked from the fire now Joshua okay let's take a little stop if I've got first John - one and two queued up here so we see the same there we see the high priest is there we see God is there okay who else is there first John 2:1 and to my little children I'm writing these things to you so that you may not send it if anyone sins we have an advocate that is a legal term when you start studying the Bible you will find the Bible is filled with legal terms all kinds of things happen in the Bible and legal terms when you give your time and your offerings there's a legal transaction when Jesus when God traded his only begotten Son for your soul there was a transaction the Bible is full of transactions and legal terms but if anyone sins we have an advocate with the father Jesus Christ advocate is a legal term for a person like a lawyer so Jesus is described as a lawyer and verse 2 and he himself is the propitiation again there's a whole sermon in there not only for ours but for those of the whole world right and the word for advocate is Parakletos one who pleads and others cause before a judge a Pleader counsel for defend leafless as an assistant advocate so court that I may face them I ask the court to judge my accusers according to the same standards of the court judge me by his words guess what my accusers are not covered by the blood of Jesus so what
