provide updates on the changes coming to our beautiful campus over the past few weeks we've had the pew crew helping each and every sunday to remove pews to make way for construction equipment that's going to take place in the sanctuary each and every week now on sunday september 26th these pews will be permanently removed to make way for a new stage now this will alter our current seating arrangements but that's okay because we are growing cornerstone so why are we moving the stage forward and what does that mean so the moving of the state is going to allow the contractors to work on the back portion of the stage now what's happening on the back four center stage they're gonna be working on our orchestra we're gonna have a motorized orchestra pit that's gonna go up and down to allow the band to descend and us in depending on what's happening as part of the service we're also gonna be working on new lighting and new sound equipment is also going to be taking place behind the stage as well well i know i'm excited and i can't wait to see what's coming and this amazing transformation the best is yet to come it is our vision 2020 cornfield family let's make it happen together a testimony that came from lauren and brent corley and they say pastor matt we began watching service virtually in early 2020 we desperately needed a home church and a pastor to help us grow in our faith we gave birth to our son during lockdown and we found ourselves in some of the darkest hours of our lives our son was sick for the first couple of months after being born and we were terrified of what was to come of his health during the pandemic and of our finances cornerstone church was a weekly reminder that living by faith means that you press forward regardless of the circumstances and we did you helped us to understand we could lay hands on our son and pray for his healing and he was thank you for allowing us to be members from afar our hope is that we can come to san antonio soon at cornerstone church dad speaking of big events this week was a big event week in our nation and the state of texas is the reason why exactly so exactly so this is a historic week in the great state of texas something that christians have been praying about for years since roe v wade was passed in the 1960s thanks to governor abbott all abortions in the state of texas are prevented if there is a heartbeat of the child that can be recognized you god thank you god thank you god authorities are saying that that means that somewhere between 45 and 50 000 abortions will not happen in the state of texas in the next year the good news is that this law has already been challenged by the supreme court and the supreme court stood up 5-4 saying it is the law [Applause] uh let me bring this home to show you where you fit in here president donald trump put two conservative judges on the supreme court [Applause] and those two judges voted in favor of life amen [Applause] and i pressed this issue because it's important for you and the people across america to hear when you go vote you put in people that have a vision for your life and mr trump put two conservative judges on the court and we needed both of them to get this passed it is past it is the law thank you president trump [Applause] i want to say this word to our listeners in florida your governor desantis is considering this texas law for florida i want you i want you to write him i want you to call him expressing your support for him because the liberal left is going to go after him tooth and tongue he needs to hear your voice and he needs to know how strong you are in the state of florida for the preservation of human life amen [Applause] you know you were talking about the fact that votes are the reason why these decisions were able to be made the voters in texas elected officials who made it a law in texas the nation had a president who made a decision that made it possible for it to be a law all over the land no individual should ever feel like their voice and their vote don't count because we saw this week that they do count and they do change things that's exactly why the president of the united states a left-left liberal wants to flip texas from a red state to a blue state that's why the borders of texas are open he's trying to flood this state with enough socialist deadbeats that they can cause the people of this state who are paying the bill to have to do what the deadbeats want god bless you for voting and keep on voting we are going to keep texas for texans [Applause] i'm reminded in this situation you know people are talking about well what about young ladies who are in these difficult situations and have to make these hard choices that's the argument for the procedure of abortion which is murder and that's why this church has a sanctuary of hope we have a campus where a young lady can come and give her child a life sentence instead of going to a planned parenthood clinic and giving that child a death sentence so to those of you who are watching and those of you who are here thank you for what you have done to create a place that's a sanctuary for life and that's a wonderful thing that you've done at the sanctuary of hope god bless you for being a part of that work the way that we achieve the mission of this ministry to take all the gospel to all the he could have talked about the one thing that he wants to talk about is worship because for everything that's going wrong in the situation what jesus is communicating is that if we can get worship right then some of the other things that we've been struggling with will start to change under the power and the presence of god worship is not for spiritual people worship is for real people with real problems who have real needs with a real past in search of real answers who are trying to live in a real world today child of god if you're going to worship him worship him with passion if you're going to worship him worship him because he is the god who created us and not we ourselves he is the same yesterday today and forever if your circumstance on this earth changes recognize that nothing in heaven has changed he's the same god who was worthy of your praise yesterday which means he's worthy of your praise right now you don't have to be bound one more minute you can worship your way when you pour out your heart in spirit and truth to christ who has made you more than a conqueror [Music] if you would please stand for the reading of god's word and if you brought your bibles turn them to the book of galatians the sixth chapter beginning at the seventh verse is this morning we continue in the sermon series what a way to live speaking about the lifestyle of worship with this message the very best you have to give last week we considered john chapter 4 in which jesus speaks about what matters most on this earth and in heavenly places and the topic was worship he said the father speaking about god our father in heaven is seeking such to worship him god is seeking something what an awesome thought that the creator of heaven and earth who has all power and all might and all authority no matter what he can create he's looking for people who want to worship him because worship is what matters most the battle of all eternity described in revelations is over two groups of people those who are worshiping jehovah and those who are worshiping the devil himself read what the bible says in revelation 13 it says and so they worshipped they speaking of those who worshipped the dragon which is the devil who gave authority to the beast which is the antichrist they worshipped the beast saying who is like the beast who is able to make war with the beast there is literally a group of people worshiping satan himself revelation 14 and 7 the heavens are echoing fear god and give him glory for the hour of his judgment has come worship him worship is not a matter of if it's a matter of when because it does not give you the option of who you will worship what you get to choose is when you will worship based on philippians 2 9-11 it says god has highly exalted him and given him the name that is above every name that's the name we were just singing about a few moments ago and it says at the name of jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that jesus christ is lord to the glory of god the father it's not if you worship him it's when you worship him today you get to choose what you will do and i suggest to you that you worship something that is worth worshiping people worship all kinds of things yesterday stadiums all over america were filled with college football fans do you know what it was a worship event they all dressed up they sang songs together they cheered cheers together they even considered the efforts of the individuals on the field and they named the most valuable player and they applauded him for his excellent work out there on that hundred yard field do you know what we should be doing each and every sunday we should set aside the time to show up and dress up and say thank you jesus for who you are and what you have done because you are indeed the most valuable person in my life without you i can do nothing but because of you i can do all things through christ who gives me strength give the lord a handclap of praise you didn't have to ask the football fan in the stadium why have you come they came to cheer but we have to ask church members why have you come have you come to church because it's sunday or have you come on sunday that you might worship him hebrews 13 says let us offer the sacrifice of praise that means it should cost you something it's not just a little tip that you pull out and hand to jesus it should be something that you have to give to him and when you give it you feel it because it's a sacrifice of your spirit so what kind of sacrifice have you brought to the lord today i would tell you it needs to be the very best you have to give let's read galatians 6 7 and 9 together if you're there say amen the bible says do not be deceived god is not mocked whatever a man sows that he will also reap for he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption but he who sows to the spirit will of the spirit reap everlasting life and let us not grow weary while doing good for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart heavenly father today let us see from heaven's perspective the size and the quality of the sacrifice that we have brought to you today and let us be a people who worship you in spirit and truth that you would be pleased with what we have brought to your house on your day in the mighty name of your son jesus christ all of god's children said praise the lord you may be seated hebrews 13 it says it's a sacrifice of praise it's something that costs you that means that it's not cheap it's not easy it's precious even to the point that it's priceless how many of you remember that national advertising campaign that counted up all of the costs that were associated with an experience and then at the end said that the value of the experience was priceless you know you bought a ticket to the ball game 150 dollars you must only bought one hot dogs and popcorn 50 ball cap 45 dollars remembering the night you caught your first fly ball priceless and the reason that they could do such a thing is because what they were talking about was the difference between cost and value and there's a lot of people who count the cost of what they are giving to god without understanding the value of the experience when you look at the commercial you saw people who were willingly giving the costs because they appreciated the value of the experience to the point that they said it was priceless we should do the same thing here on sunday in the lord's house we should view our opportunity to be here as the same type of experience it doesn't matter what the cost is the value is priceless because when you look at it from heaven's perspective here's how they see it they consider what they paid for the exchange of you having the opportunity to be here and they gave the very best they have when god sent his son to an old rugged cross that he might die that we would live it's priceless jesus counted the cost in mark chapter 8 when he said what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul that means that if bill gates and jeff bezos gave you all of their fortunes and they're not jesus said take all of that and throw it away it's not worth losing your soul he found your soul to be so priceless that he gave everything he had his own life that you might be redeemed and he did it when you weren't worth dying for because romans 5 says that while we were yet sinners when we were at our worst he was at his very best and he gave his life that we might be redeemed this is why first corinthians says you were bought with a price you didn't get here cheaply he gave everything he had therefore glorify god in your body and in your spirit which are gods the price has been paid for you to be here you didn't even have to buy admission tickets to get in jesus made a way where there seems to be no way he took off your filthy unrighteous garments and he covered you and he cleansed you you don't even have to go buy the jersey for the home team he wrapped you in a robe of righteousness and in heavenly places today you look like all the saints throughout all of the ages because jesus made you look like you belong [Applause] if i came to you and i said hey i've got free tickets and i've got an all-access pass to the sporting event of your dreams would you take it yes i got a man in the back hallelujah i mean you're going to the owner's suite you're going to sit in his seats you're going to eat at his buffet table because you got this little all-access pass you'd walk around like you own the stadium you'd sit up there and talk to him well they shouldn't have called that play i don't know why they did that you were just nobody a few hours ago but now you're an expert you need to understand that because of what jesus has done you have an all-access pass to sit in the throne room of god's grace and his mercy which is why paul said let us go boldly before the throne and receive grace and mercy in our hour of need because of jesus you've got a reserved seat in the owner's suite and it's where in ephesians it says he raised us up and we are seated together in heavenly places you may look like you're sitting in a sanctuary but because we've worshipped the mighty name of jesus his presence has invaded this place and right here right now we are seated in heavenly places with the owner of heaven and earth for the bible says the earth is the lord's we are seated in heavenly places with the one who owns a cattle on a thousand hilltops right now you're sitting in the presence of him who said all of the gold is mine and all of the silver is mine he holds the mountains in a scale child of god he has the hills and the balance he counts the stars and he calls them by name he measures the heavens with the span of his hand he commands winds and waves with the sound of his voice he controls the seas with the very breath of his nostrils what a mighty god we serve and he's here today considering that the price has been paid for you to have this experience how should you view it priceless it's priceless it's priceless how could you ever live without it david the king who had a palace said better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere it's priceless psalms 122. i was glad when they said unto me let us go into the house of the lord because when you're in god's house you're in god's presence and that's priceless there's healing for the sick in god's house and that's priceless there's forgiveness for the sinner in god's house and that's priceless there's strength for the weary who don't think they can go on and they get to take their next step of faith because god is on their side that's priceless there's rivers of mercy that cleanse your heart soul mind and body that's priceless there's joy unspeakable and full of glory and that's priceless there's peace that surpasses all understanding in a world where you should lose your mind it's jesus that's on your side and that's priceless there's power in god's house you have power to bind and you have power to lose you have power to break chains to lift burdens to destroy yokes to set captives free you have power to move mountains you have power to change destinies you have power to restore power to revive power for victory give the lord a shout of praise [Applause] so what is that worth to you priceless is it worth your time oh i gotta go to church it's priceless is it worth your attention it's priceless sit in church and scroll the gram you say what's the gram it's instagram okay ask your kids oh i've heard this song before yeah okay preacher we know it's offering time you're not here to pay attention to me i didn't invite you to worship he did [Applause] [Music] is it worth effort it's priceless that's why galatians said do not be deceived god is not mocked whatever you sow you will reap if you came in the flesh today you're going to reap in the flesh today if you came to worship in spirit and truth then you're going to worship and receive in spirit and truth he knows why you came he knows who's here to enter his gates with thanksgiving and who's entering his courts with praise and he knows who's got a long list of self-centered complaints he knows who came to bring a sacrifice and he knows who came to check church off their list and based on this conversation in galatians sowing and reaping if you came to check church off your list do you want god to check you off of his list that's how this goes the way you give it is the way you receive it if you give it with everything you've got he said i'll open the windows of heaven and i'll pour out upon you blessings that you cannot contain i'll make you the head and not the tail i'll make you above and not beneath i'll rebuke the devourer for your sake you'll put your hand to the plow and whatever you do it will prosper because you belong to me and i belong to you and there's nothing that i won't give you the ability to do jesus said the father is seeking such to worship him he wants you to give with your whole heart now in the balance of this message i want to teach you what it means to worship the lord corporately we're going to go in exodus chapter 24 to the very first congregational worship service understand that god had met with people before this and people had worshiped god individually prior to this but this is the first time that all of israel is collected and moses the pastor is going to have a congregational worship service the reason why i take you to exodus 24 is because the bible says god does not change so if this is the way that god did the first church service this is the way we need to be doing church service and the first thing that god did in the first congregational worship service is he extended to you an invitation you have been cordially invited now when you get one of these invitations at home before you even open the envelope you're like oh cordially it must be a fine affair they're going to have hordivores and all that stuff or what are they called hors d'oeuvres yeah i had to clean up the joke because people didn't understand what i said anyway you get one of those invitations and a spirit of inspectancy starts to grow in you about wherever you're gonna go you need to understand that all worship begins by invitation in exodus 24 and verse 1 god said to moses come up to the lord you aaron and all of the elders and worship me if god did not invite you you couldn't come why because he's so holy that the bible says if any man looks at god they would die you can't get access to this on your own he's got to extend the invitation to you and what he did when he sent his only begotten son is he sent you an invitation for all of eternity he sent jesus to become our high priest and jesus said i am the door no man comes unto the father but by me but jesus also said whatever you ask the father in my name he will do it that means that today you don't have to wait for god to invite you when he sent jesus to the cross and jesus said it is finished you have an invitation that any time you need him for any reason you can call on him and he'll answer you and show you great and mighty things that you know not think about that child of god what moses had to wait for we receive freely in jesus christ today [Applause] so the question is how do you think god feels when we don't accept his invitation he sent his son to a cross and he crucified him so that we could be here how do you think he feels when we're here or not here you don't accept his invitation well i'm just too busy if you're that busy you are too busy i'm too tired take a nap i get too distracted focused well i was offended by church he didn't invite you to church he invited you to worship him [Applause] i've heard people use the excuse well i was raised in religion i've done my time you think you've done time on earth how long do you think eternity is now we're talking about doing time well preacher that's not for me the point again you are here because he invited you he gave us all a save the date card those are popular these days people send you an invitation for the invitation save the date invitation to come well here's what jesus here's what god did in exodus chapter 20. he said remember the sabbath and keep it holy six days you should work but on the seventh day save the date you get six days to do whatever you want to do for your sake and for your needs but on the seventh day you remember me you worship me you spend time with me you honor me because outside of me you can do nothing but with me i'll give you the power to do all things [Music] [Applause] [Music] how would you treat a save the date card for an illustrious event i mean the who's who are going to be there the most powerful people in the community and on the planet are going to walk into this room and you've got an invitation you'd honor it you'd circle it on your calendar you'd look forward to it you tell your spouse we're going i don't care what you've got to cancel we're going you'd go pick out an outfit in advance and you'd try it on how do i look no i don't like the way this feels i just don't feel like my best me in this you'd plan pedicures and manicures and hair and makeup and all kinds of things you'd even get some of them fake eyelashes that people are wearing these days [Applause] and when the event finally came you'd walk in with a big old smile on your face so glad to see you yes how have you been oh it's been so long call me because you were expecting something from that environment you should feel the same way every seven days you should have an expectancy because you have been cordially invited by god almighty and his son who from the foundations of the earth was slain that you might become a son and a daughter of the child of the god who created heaven and earth his promises and his covenants are yours you are a joint heir today because of jesus if you truly knew what a privilege it was to be in his presence you'd wake up on monday morning saying sunday's coming you'd go to work on tuesday thinking sunday's coming you'd drive down the road on wednesday and say i don't care about the traffic sunday's coming i want to know is there anybody that's glad to be here today because the lord is in this place and sunday's here worship begins with an invitation that comes from god and then worship includes a revelation from the word of god you cannot worship god without the word and one of the greatest tragedies that we have in the church today is that we think we can worship without the word without the word you may have a great performance but you will not have god's power without the word you may have a full house that's entertained but you will not have the fullness of joy because his presence is not in that place you say well how can you say that whenever you read exodus 24 in verse 1 god said come up here and worship me in verse 3 the bible says that moses came and he told all the people what the lord had said moses got in god's presence god spoke to moses the pastor of the first church of the children of israel went back down the mountain and said this is what the lord shared with me that's the word of god and in verse 3 the children of israel said we will do it say that with me we will do it you have not properly worshipped god until his word has been presented and you have accepted why it's not just the musical portion of the service worship is all for him everything we do is worshiping him because he deserves all glory all honor and all praise hebrews chapter 10 says we worship because jesus replaced the veil that was in the temple with his own flesh that means that he is now the barrier between us and god and he jesus has said you call on me and you go through that barrier straight into the throne room in john chapter 1 it says the word became what flesh and it dwelt among us so if jesus replaced it with his flesh and his flesh became the word you cannot worship without the word this is what paul said to timothy preach the word if you go to church somewhere on a sunday and you don't hear the word you have wasted your time [Applause] because worship requires the word so you have an invitation to worship you have a revelation from the word and worship includes a presentation you say pastor how many of these shunned words do you know i went to seminary i know a lot of them you have an invitation revelation and presentation now what is your presentation it is your offering you're giving is a praise unto god exodus 24 and 5 the children of israel heard the word in exodus 3. in exodus 24 and 5 it says that moses offered 12 oxen one for every tribe it was brought by each tribe they offered 12 oxen as a sacrifice unto the lord they made a presentation to god moses gave them the word and the children of israel said we will do it and to honor the fact that they were going to do it they gave god a sacrifice it's not just music it's not just preaching it's also giving god deserves your offerings why because he's god and if you need more of a reason than that then what you're saying is i'm god god deserves your offerings because he's god and what does he expect he expects the best we have to give do not be deceived god is not mocked when you sing he knows if you're singing your best song when you preach he knows if you're preaching your best sermon when you give he knows if you're giving your best gift second corinthians nine and six he who sows sparingly he will reap how sparingly he who sows bountifully he will reap how bountifully verse 10 is probably a more important verse because it describes everyone who ever gives at any time it says let each one of us give as he proposes not grudgingly or of necessity for the lord loves a cheerful giver what was the difference between abel and cain it wasn't that one gave and the other did and i've heard arguments about vegetables and sheep and all kinds of stuff it was a heart issue both gave abel was cheerful cain was not and the bible says the lord loves what a cheerful giver what is the demonstration of your obedience giving when you say lord we will do it that's like saying amen in a church service oh preach good pastor but what good is your amen if you don't go do what you just said you would do that's hearing without doing and jesus said blessed is he who hears and does these sayings of mine so the children of israel hear the word in verse 3 they do the word in verse 5 and when they do the word god pours out a blessing upon them the evidence of your obedience is giving the question that i want to ask you today is what kind of a giver are you second corinthians chapter nine it says the lord loves a cheerful giver but there's three kinds of givers that he describes he says there's a grudging giver meaning that you just got a bad attitude about it there's a necessity giver which means that you do it for reasons of your own and then there's a cheerful giver here's three kinds of givers let's start with the grudging giver a grudging giver is kind of like a flint rock it has to be hit before it gives you anything no no it's time to take the offering i'll give a dollar you have to work hard to get anything out of it it'll give you a little spark every now and again but not every time it'll give you a little chip and maybe you can make an arrowhead out of it but not much i mean no wonder the apaches were so ticked off all the time they had to sit there and do this and there's reasons why god looks down from heaven and he's frustrated with some because they're grudging when they give don't be a grudging giver and then there's necessity givers necessity givers are kind of like sponges they sit in god's house for years and they hear the word and they get submerged in his presence when the choir sings and they come for the experiences but they don't ever do anything they never serve they never offer their assistance they don't do what the bible says they should do and then the world suddenly turns for them and some experience creates a problem in a crisis and when they're twisted and squeezed what they've soaked up for so long finally comes out of them and once it's out of them they go right back to soaking it up these are necessity givers but the bible says the lord loves a what cheerful giver that's kind of like a honeycomb the bible describes jesus as honey in the honeycomb what does that mean well if you know anything about honey the comb is really useless it's wasted wax that has no value until honey is placed inside of it all by itself it's not good for much but when there's honey inside of it it gives a wonderful offering you and i are honeycomb without jesus inside of us we have nothing to give but when he pours himself into us suddenly all you've got to do is move us and we give and we just keep on giving and we keep on giving you don't have to squeeze us you don't have to twist us you don't have to turn us you don't have to strike us jesus just pours out of us he's put so much in us how can we not give back to him all the praise that he's worthy of joy comes out of us peace comes out of us hope comes out of us life comes out of us opportunity comes out of us why because jesus is in us child of god you don't have to hit me you don't have to twist me you don't have to do anything but move me because jesus is in me and when you move me what's in me flows out of me and i'm telling you that when god is in you there's nothing that can stop you there's nothing that can stand against you all things are working on your behalf child of god if you have jesus in your heart today then give him the praise he's worthy of for the lord is great and he is greatly to be praised remain standing [Applause] bring this message to a close by letting you know that there's a revelation a presentation and a consecration what does it mean to consecrate something it means that it's covered read exodus 24. it tells us something very peculiar in verses 7-8 it says that moses when they had sacrificed the animals he took half of the blood and he put it in a basin ushers i want you to take your positions with off with the communion he took half the blood and he put it in a basin and he took the other half of the blood and he put it on the altar now the altar was the judgment seat where god was looking to judge the sin of sinners and when he saw the blood he gave them remission meaning forgiveness of sin which is why the body the bible says without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin but with the other half of the blood that he put in the basin moses did something very peculiar he took the blood and the bible says that he sprinkled it on the people he went over all of the people and he sprinkled the blood on every one of the tribes you say well why would he do that why would he sprinkle blood on these people the blood was on the altar god already saw the blood but what you don't understand is that when he was sprinkling the blood on the people he was camouflaging them god looked down at the blood on the judgment seat and he said right here i don't see any reason to judge because there's blood but then he said over here there's no reason to judge because there's blood there's no reason to count them as sinners because there's blood there's no reason for them to be underneath your wrath because there's blood they've been forgiven because there's blood they've been set free because there's blood they've been given opportunity to succeed because there's blood they can overcome the world the flesh and the devil because there's blood i'm telling you when you understand what jesus did you'll know that we should sit here and thank god just for jesus because his blood has given you power his blood has given you authority his blood has given you victory his blood has made you an heir and a joint heir and royalty in heavenly places child of god give the lord a shout of praise for the blood of jesus christ [Music] and that's why we celebrate communion we're going to receive communion today as part of our remembrance of the sacrifice of jesus christ but jesus said as often as you do this do this in remembrance of me so ushers i want you to begin passing out the communion in this sanctuary today [Music] and church i want you to worship with your very best gift right now i want you to open your mouth and give god the very best gift you can give him i want you to tell him thank you in your own words i want you to say thank you for jesus thank you for this blood that has covered my sin thank you for setting me free thank you for healing my body thank you for mending my family thank you for providing for me thank you god thank you god thank you god i remember where i was when you redeemed me i remember who i used to be before you set me free i remember the chains of bondage i remember the yoke i used to carry i remember the mountains i used to struggle to climb that have been removed into the midst of the sea thank you god thank you god thank you god for jesus be a cheerful giver today and let the anointing that's inside of you what's been poured into you come out of you as you take a moment and just thank him for who he is and for what he's done thank you thank you thank you what can wash away my sins nothing but the blood of jesus [Music] what can make me home again nothing but the blood of jesus singles is the flow that makes me white as snowy other found i know nothing but the blood of jesus oh precious is the flow that makes me white as [Music] nothing but the blood of jesus [Music] it's nothing but the blood of jesus father today we celebrate this communion because of what it has done in our lives with hearts filled with worship we come to sacrifice and give you praise joyfully because of jesus christ because of his body and his blood we have been forgiven we have been healed we have been freed we have been crowned conquerors and today we declare that since you have given your only son you will not withhold from us anything therefore since god is for us who can be against us father forgive us today as we receive this consecrated sacrifice forgive us today for the times that we have come to offer our praise and having given you our best forgive us today for the times that we've given grudgingly for the times that we've given from necessity and from this day forward let this congregation give cheerfully knowing that you heavenly father are the one who has provided all things through christ jesus said in matthew's gospel as they were eating he took the bread and he blessed it and he broke it and he gave it to them saying take it and eat it can we take the symbol of the lord's broken body and then the scriptures record that he took the cup and he gave thanks for it and said drink from it all of you can we take the symbol of the lord's shed blood he said for this is my blood shed for the remission of sins but i say i will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine until that day when i drink it new with you in my father's kingdom here on this earth we worship god in the moments we worship him on the moment of sunday we worship him on the moment of his goodness we worship him from moment to moment but jesus said i will not drink henceforth of this fruit until that day i drink it with you in his kingdom when his kingdom comes we're not going to worship for a moment we're going to worship for all of eternity because he is king of kings and lord of lords and he is worthy worthy worthy to be praised give the lord a hand clap in this house today can you lift your hand for the communion and this blessing now may the lord bless you and may the lord keep you and may the lord make his face to shine upon you and may the lord be gracious unto you and give you his peace may you walk from his assembly covered by the blood atonement of the lamb of god that takes away the sins of the world because of that blood you are spotless you have been declared sanctified by the grace of a loving father rejoice and be exceedingly glad that your names are written down in the lamb's book of life for behold the king cometh in all of his glory go you out to meet him be covered with this congregation today i want to bless you when i was preaching this sermon series years ago and i said i want you to lift your hand and receive this blessing and i spoke that blessing and there was a supernatural power you could feel it that's the holy spirit filled that church and everyone was fully aware that something supernatural had happened uh that week my phone rang off the hook please do that prayer again please do that prayer again had several men call me saying god provided for me this week something that i've been trying to do for years and the prayer of that blessing was the thing that made it happen they didn't say the sermon you preached they said the prayer of that blessing that you gave please give it again i did it the next sunday the same thing happened i said i will keep doing it yeah and 30 years later i'm still doing it because it is a it releases a supernatural force of god to bless people because it's god's desire to bless people exceedingly abundantly above everything they can ask or imagine you know in the book of numbers chapter 6 god tells moses you give this blessing to aaron and you tell aaron to give it to the children of israel and then he finishes the verses in which he gives may the lord bless you may the lord keep you may he make his face to shine upon you may he be gracious unto you and give you his peace but he ends all of that by saying and so shall i put my name on them yes now that one statement right there to me changes everything because there are a lot of powerful names that you can go through this world with and it will get you a lot of access to some places but there isn't one name that gets you access to all places that's exactly right unless it is the name that is above every name there are seven names of god in the bible and what that verse was saying that all of the names of god i am jehovah rafi i am jehovah nissi i am jehovah shama the god who's always there he is the god of all power he's the god of all knowledge and when you release that supernatural power in the name that's above every name it is a name let me say this to you when you pray don't ever start your prayer saying dear god because there are many gods satan is the god of this world allah is the god of the islamic people people who are naturalist nature is their god socialists have the government as their god when you pray say heavenly father god of abraham isaac and jacob but you identify the god you're talking to because the god you're trying to reach is in the third heaven god our father which art in heaven that's the way the lord's prayer starts and that identifies which god you're talking to never say dear god do x y z you that prayer will not clear the roof when you say our father which art in heaven or god our father god god of abraham isaac and jacob now you are talking to the creator of heaven and earth and then lay your petition before him and god will supernaturally bless you the power of your tongue is awesome power the bible says the power of life and death are in your tongue and when you say that blessing you are releasing the supernatural force of life the supernatural power of heaven in your behalf or the behalf of your children i assure you you need to you need to release that blessing on your life today that blessing from numbers chapter 6 is something that has an impact for each and every one of us and i want you to understand more about each and every word that god gave to the children of israel as to how they should and why they should bless that understanding pastor has
