Find it interesting how lib media is starting to cast a little bit of attention on the excesses of punitive idpol in elite spaces, though only in institutions other than itself. The New York Times story about the Smith College fiasco does mention that big outlets like NYT amplified the story uncritically, but it's worth noting how journalists will not examine any of the malicious identity based witch hunts in their own industry.
Similarly, Daily Beast had a story the other day about the "weaponized white feminism" of some of this year's award contenders in Hollywood. I think you could find quite a few examples of "weaponized white feminism" in NYC media, but they sure as shit don't want to have that conversation
