Kevin Gray tonight, people share their concerns at a town hall. ABC Ten's guard, Paul Sa was there take a look in a small elementary school gymnasium just outside of the city of Turlock limits. We are a very strong knit close community, a town hall like by an ankle bracelet of some sort mixed with anger confusion and frustration. I was very shocked that this was even happening over why two convicted sexually violent predators could be moving into their small rural community. It's about bringing awareness. It's about using your voice to advocate for what's right for your community. Two men, Kevin Scott Gray and Timothy weathers could be placed just west of Turlock as the Stanislaus County District Attorney's Office says the state recommended that two men be released from the state hospital. It was very disheartening to know that we are fighting something that our taxpayer money is going to fund Gray who was convicted of molesting four girls between the ages of 8 to 11 in Wyoming, Los Angeles and Stanislaus Counties. A psychologist with the department of state hospitals said he is a danger to others. The Stanislaus County District Attorney's Office says 61 year old Timothy Weathers was convicted of molesting a child in San Diego County while on probation for that case. The DAS office says weathers was convicted of molesting two different boys in Stanislaus County officials say during treatment in 2007, weathers submitted to doctors he molested between 20 to 45 boys. He's surrounded by an orchard, which means there's very, there's a lot of entry and exit points on that so he can come and go any which way and have access to Children all around him. It's not about targeting these individuals, allowing the process to play itself out and let the law work itself out in Stanislaus County, Paul S ABC Garsh Paul. Thank you Liberty Health Care, which contracts with the Department of State Hospitals was not available for an interview today. A protest is planned for tomorrow morning near the proposed site. And later in the afternoon, we're told elected leaders are also gathering to address this issue. So stay with ABC 10 for updates.
