Conceptual Archviz with Stable Diffusion - Full Workflow Video

architectural visualization so I've got like a really basic blocking of or massing I should say of my building here it's going to be a condo and with these cars I mean I bought this model for another project it was like 120 bucks so um I doubt you know it's worth it just for this project I mean it just needs to be something that kind of looks like a car I'm sure you could find something free um it really doesn't matter at this point how important or how detailed the model is um so you could just even even just like basically block out you know some vaguely car-like shape with vaguely wheel like things um the person you can get for free um I'll link the site below but again you just need it as like a general shape and the first thing we're gonna do is test the lighting out I'm probably gonna want the lighting to become from the right hand side so I'll add in a sun here of course I would normally use an hdri but for this it's just to give it a rough idea of what I want so I'm gonna select Progressive and add a grayscale override normally this freezes it's no surprise it doesn't this time okay let's see all right so we got our scene and at this point I'm thinking like maybe even just get it yeah just save this up for now and see what we get so I'm going to make a new render test folder here V1 and uh I also set up multi-mats so I'm going to save this as well okay then these multi-mats I'm going to open up um where is it multi-mats oh I have it here what am I doing render multimet and drum just copy out the channels okay go away copy out the channels what the uh so I have the road I have the buildings and I need the sidewalk there's a green okay so sidewalk and then I'll take this and and make a mask of it and this one I'll make the road and this one will be buildings okay and now we need to go into our segmentation okay and we grab our roach which is this thing here and I'll just add a solid color okay that's our road and buildings building building building [Music] type the label in it's good to stay organized and our sidewalk which is this one so handy that they're all at the top oh and I forgot my sky which will be at the background guy well whatever duplicates okay so Skye oh my car is my automobile um we don't have a mask for it but I could probably just do this and just mask it like so okay oh my person ugh so many things um and I don't like how I did this actually I'm gonna fix that so add a new multi-match number two four five six in the IDS um it's before you'll be five and six will be trees and we'll figure that out later but um hey okay okay so we got that um all right got my masks here and I'll just replace the mask for this one here and then my green one for people okay and I just need my code my code code is gonna be hmm there we go so the advantage of this is that whenever I want to paint I can just use black and white instead of taking the color codes every time they were very handy okay so this will be my multi-match and let me save this out actually let me open up stable the fusion while I'm saving so this will be my multi-match okay all right so we got this one and then we have our building render here which I'll probably use as the depth pass okay my depth pass okay okay and all right stable diffusion building render and for our control net we want segmentation with the processor preprocessor turned off um let's do Pixel Perfect get this to figure out the size for me batch count to four increase the noise because I don't really want it to stick to these colors at all so do .95 maybe and I'm going to describe this it'll be a um exterior photo Bondo cars in the street people walking um downtown modern architecture futuristic Maybe let's just try that for now and see what it gives us and I have these already opened up in some earlier tests again delete oh wait this will be image to image so let's see kind of cool but um yeah this is a little too crazy a little too futuristic that's kind of cool see it's interesting I don't know why I put um water here interesting very interesting I also don't like that this one is inconsistent mm-hmm okay that's better figured out the uh the street ish kind of kind of figured it out I mean um I can already use this as a better [Music] um as a better starting image than my um building here now one thing I want to try though is like like if I was to grab this one for example and then project it back onto this image would it do a better job the thing is I don't really like these too much I'm going to say modern architecture White um why doesn't is this the right segment for the road I guess so it just doesn't read it too well I mean um I could always turn off the um turn off the weight turn down the weight maybe to like um or just tell it my prompt is more important whoa this Road's pretty good it's breaking the cars and stuff here though but um but yeah it's kind of cool I guess I like this one why the car is not anyway like these two buildings look kind of consistent so that's good I'm probably gonna take little bits and Bill finally it got okay so these buildings are just boring but at least it got the roads right finally so this is a good base I think foreign let me just try something real quick I'm going to turn this off and do a multi diffusion tile diffusion upscale um just because it's feels good really um I like seeing more details I mean the sun um the sun looks nice here whatever I can use both so yeah let me just turn up the sampling steps a bit and this shouldn't take too long I'm going to eat my words here which one's the real one must be this uh come on 17 minutes I mean it's way too long for this it should just be like two minutes unless I'm missing something here hmm maybe I have too much stuff open I don't know um let's interrupt too long taking too long just gonna copy this now it's freezing well in the meantime let me do some work um what am I gonna take I'm gonna take well [Music] I was gonna say the the road in this one is not too dark like this one maybe I'll just brighten it up in Photoshop so I'll take seven and brighten it up a little bit okay that's better nice I mean somehow even got the shadow although that's probably from my original image okay so you're being annoying let's try again let's try try again Okay so I mean in the meantime actually I have time to try out my crazy idea which is a projection test so what I'm going to do is take these buildings here it should all be one object really okay good enough um get a uvw right there and yeah probably planar because it needs to reject used to be on the y-axis and facing the camera like so and bitmap fit to the projection test and I need a material with a projection oh I hate it when it does this why why why why Breezy freeze okay so let's go back to our little experiment here and grab my multi-match okay you're stopped freezing and now and go to my render building [Music] projection test I mean this really should have been done with the um front view but um don't have that luxury now I don't have that luxury now so this is a very crazy idea I don't know if it's worth trying but um there might just be a way that I'm doing it wrong like Maybe maybe it needs to be done in pieces although this isn't too bad for the building on the right means bad it's not too bad and I just move this up I'm kind of losing track of what's what so this this should be like this right this will be kind of like glazing now this is not a great idea but I'm going to keep going with it keeps that sunk cost fallacy alive okay well I mean the main problem is of course that you know this isn't really like in the same level of 3D detail as the other one but um but um so what actually I have an even crazier idea that's dumb but uh I haven't even crazier idea which I'll try shortly which is what if I grab something such as uh let me see one second project like for example this one of my old paintings so like this thing here why is it so low res but um with the size yeah that's good enough so if I was to kind of add this like craziness to the building what would happen and um oh I already have a mask what am I doing building okay [Music] hmm I mean might get some interesting results but also maybe some really bad ones I mean it looks kind of cool like if you saw that from far away you'd be like I want to see what this building is so let me give that a rod and call it crazy crazy world all right um I mean this is still in Gray override but uh we don't want that we want to use this thing and I'm going to say colorful colorful abstract maybe American spelling or if I have something like an art movement phobism and let's try that see what it says good wow nice is not sticking to it at all um um why is that something wrong with control net you have not selected any model oh silly me I think it would be May Knight try again mm-hmm okay and they're sort of consistent I guess whoa see these uh pop up in real time okay I mean the the bushes on the second floor look kind of interesting this building looks really dumb though it's like too narrow probably need to stretch out stretch out the building kind of like this one this is strange um this little Alleyway is good but um but um whoa foreign but um yeah so what I'm going to do actually is go into my segmentation here and I'm just going to add a bunch more Duff what the had a bunch more stuff um get rid of this sidewalk here which I mean that should be below the building what the there now the building should be on top there we go easy breezy and the car should be on top of everything but let me add some more oops what am I doing let me add some more and hopefully this won't be too bad I'm gonna have to lower my my um segmentation weight things are so sloppy but I think it'll get the idea so it'll be V2 V2 and maybe 0.75 reload it I mean I mean this should probably be in accordance with that but uh let me increase the noise hmm looking more lively but um totally ignoring my crazy image maybe for the best but um what's not for the best is that it apparently doesn't you know keep the rest of the Mask in place so well actually this doesn't even have that much in terms of the building here and go all out like that and I'll copy this over to my mask this will be BBB crazy V2 crazy V2 mm-hmm this will be multimet B3 multi-math V3 this looks pretty cool pretty cool just the buildings are boring this one maybe not so much actually yeah this one's pretty interesting got a little too creative on the uh top right there with the building but um yeah let me see my new creation crazy D2 crazy D2 no wait what am I doing uh buddy buddy the attention Okay so I'm curious if I use 75 what does that do mm-hmm I mean pretty much the same I guess it's relying a lot on control net whoa quirky pretty quirky I mean these two buildings look better in terms of like their shape but obviously this one's way too different and um it was interesting too bad it can't do the other one like that but what I could just do is like copy paste it over and then um probably paste it over and then just like rerun it I like this too interesting colors I mean it's helpful that the cars are red too but um I mean it's a little garish a little too loud but um not real right unless it's just a an exercise for the fun of it um roads are an issue apparently and we have to go all the way back to this one and get a decent Road maybe this one hmm maybe even that one I guess I guess I'll go with 13. lucky 13. actually give me some more while I work on this so take 23 well actually I don't like how much of that is is blocked in The View what if I was to modify it was to well let me just try my weird idea first which is this just roughly give it some guidance that I want a similar architecture and then if I was to take this foreign just kind of Squish it just a little bit okay all right and save it actually let me add a better Road better Road okay call this my first blend and yes I know it looks horrible but it's just the process really yeah all right see if we have any better ones in the meantime hmm whoa um actually this is very whoa okay that's what I wanted something Wilder there we go now that's cool now that's cool um but um why can't I get more like that what if I say this more um let's try that so that can be one option and then my second option will be will be this one okay I can already see it being a little crazier so it's 25 I mean the perspective's a little weird on this one I also don't like this weird building it doesn't match at all so we say bye bye to that one and also these two I mean at least this one is kind of like a more tame version that also keeps the original colors which is better let me see what else it's got eh this one's not too bad buildings match yeah I kind of like that one um and now I wonder is it does it get better or worse if I go down it should get better right if I do lower denoising because then it'll stick to the craziness that's the um a logical whoa now that looks awesome at least in this blurry tiny version whoa Wild stuff um discombobulated now just blown away I mean they look kind of like slums in a Beach town but um whoa this is awesome even though it's totally unusable but um it's cool so let's see if 0.75 was okay-ish this is too crazy 2.65 see what it's saying hmm things that are trees but can't hate on it let's see I mean it just looks like a boring intersection nothing special these are much cooler but too queasy this one's probably the most I don't know not too crazy not too boring it looks like the you know bougie part of town I mean not as an insult but um I guess it is kind of a mean word dumb that's weird it's weird that it it's um it's more sedate we do 0.6 the code I described this maybe I could do a clip interrogator real quick after this one abstract leak um Sleek what else I don't want to say futuristic but it might have to be maybe if I put at the end I like this little little graphic let's see yeah it's kind of kind of cute chinatown-ish but overall it's too too cluttered to clutter which I guess the image is the original um too cluttered but um I'm just gonna save this for a second and uh see if this gives me any inspiration wow so slow what are you interrogating uh a terrorist large mural of a man um maybe contemporary I mean if I say like contemporary sculpture my prompt is more important darn straight I don't know about that I don't know about that it's just too who um too messy I don't want it like whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa hold up I don't want this like cluttered old place it's like a new construction okay now we're now we're talking turkey now we're talking turkey I mean it's so strange but um position okay and do another render let's make sure this isn't running still okay okay let me take a second and actually like Z depth doesn't work as well as just the picture I found for depth pass I'm gonna call it depth and we need to give this a save all right feeling Something's Gonna crash real soon yeah that's not what I want okay um and did it a depth and dip [Music] come on 4.9 perfect and this one will give also 0.75 not more important and let's give this another go oh I was just taking longer because of the depth pass darn it concern it oh okay that is kind of cool at the top kind of cool it's pretty interesting I haven't really seen architecture like this condos at least um yeah I like this one it's Unique but um again this guy's an issue um whoa now that's pretty uh pretty funky yeah compared to this crazy mess this is so pleasant you gone back to your old ways probably heard me bare mouth in it I mean um I mean um what else I need something like um more glazing bright glass glazing glass and steel let's see what this does hmm mean this one why not why not try it and what did it look like before like these two they just don't look like they match together not neither do these two really like I mean honestly um I think I might as well just take out the whole other side and this could be like a one-off render respective needs to be fixed so I'm just doing that now there where's this coming from okay it's a kind of interesting I guess um whoa yeah thanks for ruining everything yeah I really appreciate that yeah so the glass thing is not uh not gonna work out for us but I want um I do like this Lively uh Podium entrance and this isn't that bad really it's not that bad maybe I overreacted but um I'll just say like futuristic podium I like them apples and um well probably because I increased the noise it's an issue but we need more colorful and what else can we add in the mix no the reason for some reason Tokyo comes to mind pokio the little little drop Tokyo in there this is at the very end um come on whoa what's going on here some craziness that's what but um let's bring it back down to earth with this guy I'm gonna blend these two together so 53 54. I'm going to be Blended together somehow and then this one yeah I'll take 55 as well so this one is going to be blend the two maybe blend V2 and I really don't like this brick wall really really really don't um now I have to paint this tree up by hand like some kind of artist or something come on all right um hmm I guess I could just leave that um then this next one I mean actually this Podium looks better hmm which one's better I guess the trees okay well this one on the left needs to be redone and how that will be I do not know craziness here whoa Mega craziness that's kind of a cool mural um yeah let me just try eating this thing again but actually before I do that and try my craziness again copy pasta this thing here and uh let's hope for the best Glenn V2 hmm I actually don't even like the glass too much on the left come onto a cars but I guess condos and glass they kind of match a couple more things there at the front hmm that's kind of interesting I mean I guess I haven't really seen architecture where they have like these huge Stripes of color um but it's kind of interesting it's kind of interesting hmm what if I blend these two let me get some more though but in the meantime oops no but in the meantime in the meantime meantime um 67 68. hmm um okay it's okay I'm gonna opposed to flip it um no I like the other one I think a bit more well actually I just don't like this area here so maybe I could paint this out although it's not bad here explore stripe keep the red sports car okay it's not too bad I guess a little crazy but whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa okay I think we're on the right whoa now this is pretty blanky pretty oh my gosh oh my gosh that's cool that is what I wanted that is what I wanted something cool oh my gosh yes okay cool finally getting somewhere so um let me take some windows probably from some of these whoa that is wild whoa I love these so much they're so crazy um I just love looking at this it's just like creative it's very creative [Music] um I mean I wonder what these look like just blown up so like 75 um man that's beautiful um I just want some more well done give me give me more so yeah client but um take these off how diffusion on upscaler dish guy batch size of eight eight eight eight and give me four versions make it happen hopefully it doesn't freeze or crash it's a size 968 I mean it shouldn't need tiles vae rodent but I do have a lot of stuff open and I want to save this sure why not save it say bye to this one this one I might keep open and this one has done its Duty oh my gosh so slow okay stop it bro let me just take a look at these beauties these mutes so there's something very refreshing about this maybe it's these teal colors it's the watercolors oh and this oh my God this one is like god-like I mean this one's great too but um yeah so the roads here are terrible but um but um yeah so let's try this again tiled do it do it unnecessary fine and yet you can't do it and yet but um let's try some blendy blends um let's start from the top they're from the tip top okay so I'm just going to delete the uh I can't do it it's just too cool this building's too cool 80. 80. so from this one I'm gonna take in these this gravel looks kind of nice the frame the image but it needs to be minted out here okay that's good um the roads need to be fixed and I'm just gonna take mask that used to go well pretty well together better than the glass one I'd say okay um so that's our blend V3 now blend the tree um blind V3 and let's see what else we got here oh so good 76. um I prefer the old one really five this is my this is my crazy guy I mean if I get rid of the super craziness here what do we get is this better hmm wait actually let me let me do a proper job comparing it hold on let me do this whoops don't got it backwards no not what I wanted um so that would be my first version hide mask it out check the second let's zoom out more I guess it's this one I mean part of what I don't like about this is just these colors so maybe I just need to um fix these colors no it'll be done individually make that red magentas can be what can you be it's just a pink and my greens what that's not green you crazy yellow okay if you say so all right okay that's a little better too uh saturated though hmm is it better I don't know kind of like this green here now helps balance it out especially with the other colors a little uh curl here is interesting but um let's get rid of this ugly ghosting up next we got this this fresh fella and John's fresh fella maybe we could incorporate this this aspect of it a little aspect foreign and then the absolute goat 72 which such a bad boy doesn't even uh come in properly um so much more restrained but uh I think I'll have to do that separately is this does this even work oh my gosh you son of a gun okay [Music] um to start stop recording I guess and try it without obs okay so it seems um that it's working now and actually I rendered out quite a few more than I thought so this is what the high quality ones look like so I'd say I'm quite happy with it um we'll need to blend a couple of them but I'd say maybe my main issue now is the framing of the composition it's just like I think not not working that well composition so I'm going to try something I'm going to open up this 89 even though it's a crazy idea crazy crazy idea and I'm gonna try this be like it should be something like that yeah 99 nope so that mostly works I think except for this well we'll just have to hope that figures that part out because um well I could just paint it out by hand actually for the time being this should be okay-ish could be good um I don't know because it doesn't really have the same Style it's actually not too bad but I mean I guess I should have just done this with the old one actually because I'm well whatever it's too late now too late too bad so sad fifty percent and maybe give it a little bit of a blur and I'll try this let me scale didn't mean to have it as a PNG but um fine with me that it's a PNG I also tried some other ones some crazy ones but I might leave that to later because a little too crazy gotta stay a little bit seen and this looks beautiful on the thumbnail so I might do that one on top of the one I'm already doing so building rescale and give me four variations with uh that's pretty good match the original size 30 depths let's see how this goes let me see how we go no no no no no no no that's way too different well maybe I'll be able to use it but um yeah let's stay the 65 is good this isn't too bad but um actually I'm going to do 0.65 what I'm going to do is tile diffusion yeah yeah yeah yeah so let me see what that does give me some good news foreign I like this shape it's quite pleasing um whoa gone a little crazy I see I mean maybe I'll stick to using um a more sedate background like this just having like one main building there but this is kind of interesting I guess a little too wild is the thing I mean I'm into wild but um just a little bit too much I think also it doesn't make sense that there's you know cars facing both ways it's another issue okay let's do 0.55 let's not push our luck too much and actually if I'm going to do that then I'll need to find an image yeah like where the cars are actually facing the right direction like 97. [Music] 97. you'll see his opacity up stunt nandiboa okay and that's what's preferable kind of an interesting thing but I say to that yeah okay and that should be good uh clean this part up and also like this road there might be a better one out there like this one for example 86 86 . get some nice variation of a red in there get some more people uh that messes up the building okay why is that yellow there okay so that's looking better oh what's going on here yep okay and uh these guys need to be blurred filter blur and this should be called something like this would be our fourth blend okay didn't need full quality on that but um but you get what you get so let's do that hopefully these buildings will be cleaned up I mean these windows because they look a little too funny uh in the meantime let me look at my other option which is this one and this one mm-hmm interesting I had to go with this one although so I like this building and then this one yeah like the balconies here so I'll start off with 90 while this is rendering start off with 90. and um bring in some other ones later which one do I like yeah maybe this one 91 like the balconies hmm they don't look quite right you might have to choose another crazy jeans I mean this is also quite satisfying this balcony is interesting this one 99 90 90 99 well they both have their uh advantages I might actually blend these two together this building looks boring that looks bad yeah this is uh pretty cool pretty cool but this balcony is not doing it for me not doing it for me and I want to pick something simple probably 95 95 or 93 the 195 or 93. yeah it's gonna be this one foreign guy out of here wherever that is you're out you're right Mike that could be a CCTV camera okay cool um happy with it looking good and now we do this Cheap Trick because I messed up the camera angle actually let me keep the what's it called a friggin ratio and uh I mean geez geez Louise um I'm just going to copy it straight up like this and then do happy pasta whoosh bushy sushi okay sushi and this will be called blend V for Alt because it's our alternative nice interesting interesting now I'm tempted to say that the building is too prominent but um yeah it's cool some weird perspective issues there let me open it up in the um folder so I mean this part is very satisfying and fresh but I feel like I need to see more need more examples um yeah yeah yeah these are the old ones um they don't look too bad but um I guess they look kind of more interesting especially on the left I don't know hmm da I'm looking at this area here which one is the best which one is the best yeah it's this one this is our winner this is our winner I mean this area needs to be fixed somehow but um probably copy yeah this part that part Maybe or this one is good options I like this part here so that's cool um might end up using one of these you know or I could just increase it to 0.6 and see what solomea but at least we have a base to start with so that'll be let me this one I said I'm liking these I like this smooth curve here that's very good but I'll start with nut 57 at this point and this will be our this will call it main for now our main one main main main main I'm sure it'll turn into a blend but uh call it main for now so what did I say I said I liked 55's reflection on the left so I'm gonna grab that like that this is a brush working properly um so I like that clean it up a little bit okay all right nice um and then foreign such as such as this is kind of cool so this weird little balcony but this looks cleaner I would say I like the cleanliness of this one it's like the top here looks cool oh undecided Maybe maybe 55 but see like then that kind of distracts so we need something munchy here but not too distracting so it'll have to be it will have to be 58. 8 and at least this section will be from 58 do I want the black part no I don't no I don't gotta be careful here I don't know I kind of like this part I might just keep that yeah I might just do that and that weird balcony I think I'm gonna make it oh these are also nice 59 59 59 59 I'll tell you what I like about 59 I like I like I like pretty much all this stuff pretty much all of this actually yeah that's much better although yeah that's much better except for this area where it looks cleaner in the original or does it not really yeah that's fine that's fine um yeah I still feel like I need more save this more options really and I put 0.6 here hopefully it's not too high um this part looks good but let's see let's see our other options here um this part's messed up here I like this area so 53 you already have 53 loaded anyway I'm gonna take what the hell is this ball um take this at the very least maybe I'll paint out that weird lamp or whatever the heck it's not better I mean not really not really it's not really actually why is there a car in the roof um yeah any more options not cutting it for me it's not good enough mate at the top um nice Peak tones ink tones yeah this is uh looking pretty snazzy there's a Rooney looking price Nazarene is like snazzy but also snazzaroni and looking snazzy Rooney well you know what isn't snazzy buddy tell you what's not snazzy that part so I'm just going to take color that's what I'm talking about there linked that up all right um are you doing anything whoa whoa whoa whoa these are getting snazzy there's a an extra snazz back door this is interesting development interesting development um yeah cool I'll take this much much nicer than before so 63 is going to get priority in this area right over here I might need to take all this but I'm not sure something like that how does that look bad but um this is messed up unfortunately yeah that works wait what no yay it's a tricky trick nice we got that figured out and I would like to see a tree here ebh um and I'll do that maybe by I like the the simple cleanliness of this 64. meditation 64. this one has better volumes I think but um but yeah I do need to wipe this although yeah the thing is I don't know if this will work because it's in sunlight maybe if I just make it darker I mean the colors are wrong the colors are all wrong and it also needs to be much bigger well let me just collapse this stuff um flip it yeah that's good I mean it'll have to be fixed shortly but um in the meantime let's check back one kind of looks better ebh well this part actually is nice cool and then just need to fix maybe I'll do it in here all right it's like my fail I should just make a thing of this you know love this set up here but um enough never that so um this car I think I saved it as a separate one and I called it did I save it no maybe I didn't okay thank you wish me never stop I'm making so many engines yes um yeah so I think I'll take this with the tree even though it'll take maybe a bit more time or four car four Mr Coffee I presume Total Car cream easy I noticed a mistake which is this area here okay and then be up to here okay that's that and then this side will be like this okay and then up to here okay and then this one a little messy you might have to clean it up with labeled diff I mean this is a little bit better at least this area still kind of a mess um freeze a little better although I kind of wish tree was Fuller hold on what if I say retro car retro car and then increase the number here maybe just three um and let me actually you know what 55 and then let me take this tree right here oh and then maybe I can just use this tree I wonder if this will work it's a little too and scale down scale not D scale whatever and this will be uh if I do 30 it has to be 25 percent okay and save it looks nice as a thumbnail only I could fix the road actually does this look better without the thing and actually looks kind of empty but then if I was to crop it I don't know I don't like this thing now do I not sure not really sure that's kind of better maybe but I'll give myself room to try that later so this tree um I might be able to use this might be able to there's something wrong with the detail on the tree not enough noise but um it sounds messed up this one's more
