Conan Exiles EEWA Gems Guide For Beginners. Everything you need to know To Get Started

in today's video we will talk about zakonen exiles eogems and learn how to use them to significantly increase our damage and sustain you can equip any gem by going to your inventory and then right click on the gem and you can see a confirmation message that it got equipped and then you can open the e-way menu by clicking on this icon at the bottom and then go to augmented gems and you can find the gem equipped here you can also open the same menu by pressing f twice by default and then go to features and then go to augmented gems on the bottom right here you can see the default keys and you can change to anything you want if you don't want f for example you can change to one of the other options you can also see the gems equipped right now on the left side of your screen it will show you the name of the gem and its current level sometimes the information will not be loaded correctly all you have to do is open the same window for the gems and then click on this refresh button you can only equip a maximum of three gems and all of them will start from level 1 and can go up to a maximum of level 20. to upgrade any gem just click on this button and it will raise it to the next level this will require something called augment points the more rare your gem is the more augment points you will need to upgrade your gem you will also need more points to upgrade from one level to the next one for example right now to upgrade from level 1 to level 2 on this uncommon gem i need 8 augment points but to upgrade from level 2 to level 3 i need 16 and this will keep going for every level the higher you go the more augment points you will need there are few sources to get augment points but the more common and easier options are the missions you can see up top there are three missions that you can repeat over and over and every time you finish them they will give you a certain amount of achievement points the first mission is to capture eight outposts the outposts are those yellow or orange icons you will see on the map they will show up as yellow icons if they have no owner or orange if anyone else took them and own them and if they have been owned you can retake them again after one hour the second mission is to kill 53 skull enemies this counts for any bosses that have three skulls on their head whether they are a vanilla boss or an ewa boss and the third mission is to kill any 300 non-player characters and this includes any bosses or even things like gazelles or npcs that you find in camps you can also dismantle any gem to get some augment points and this will be this second icon here so this one is to upgrade this one is to dismantle the more rare a gem is the more augment points it will give you and also the higher level it is the more augment points it will give you to unequip any of the gems you can click on this item where it says itemize and this will put it back in your inventory and you will have a gem slot open when you itemize any of the gems and put it back in your inventory you don't lose upgrades so if i equip the same gem again i will notice i have it equipped with the same level you can also dismantle any gem by clicking on this button here backpack and this will open your inventory and then if you drag and drop any gem it will be dismantled and you will get rewarded with augment points just make sure you hold on to here and then it will get dismantled when you click on any gem in your inventory you can see exactly what kind of benefit you will get in the description below here there are two main sources to get those gems you will get them as a random drop when you do any ewo events or kill any evil boss the second source is by using a currency called gem charts and scrims scrims is something we will talk about in details in a later guide but sometimes you will get gem charts as a random drop just like the normal gems from the evo bosses or eva evans we can also get gem chart directly by putting any gem in the dismantle bench the more rare your gem is and the higher level it is the more gem charts you will get when you dismantle there is a vendor that sells gems directly using the gem charts and scrims i showed you earlier you can find is at winter once you cross this portal right ahead of us and you can find it around the tower of beds at f5 so be prepared to make a long climb from the ground all the way up and once you are inside just ignore everything on your way and go to the right side here and you will find the npc right here when you talk to them choose show me your wares and it will preview all the gems you can buy and you will see the prices for them the more rare the gem is the higher the price will be for gem charts and scrums if you have any questions please ask in the comments below and i will get back to you as soon as possible thank you very much for watching and i will see you in the next guide you
