Completing the MASTER SET of Pokémon Paldea Evolved!

today we're racing to complete Pokemon pelodea evolve one of the largest Pokemon Trading Card Game sets of all time we're gonna be opening packs and doing lots of trades in order to fill out this binder with all 279 cards including 86 secret rares what this is literally one of the largest sets in Pokemon card history the first thing that would make sense to get this binder started is to open up a bunch of sealed Pokemon packs that'll give us all of the comments uncommons and Hollows as well as getting us started on the ex's along with those secret rares I met up with Jimmy from TCG Stadium who had a sealed case just waiting for us a card party so we've got six booster boxes just to get this binder started so it's one box and then inside of it there's six more boxes and then there's boxes inside no there's taxes inside the boxes there's packs in the Box in the Box okay so this is a full case of 216 booster packs what are you doing in here oh are you looking at what do you what do you mean the view the sky ah isn't is yeah that's a nice um it's not too heavy for me I can carry this whole thing all right I'm good what's in there a bunch of bricks you got it you got it okay it's a heavy one there must be a lot of hits in there you bring any kinds of trade by the way um no uh no but are your hands ready I did so I I did some exercises look at this yeah that's our card party exclusive exclusive right they double as a way to open up seal cases as well you're just gonna be in near mint condition now that's a good one oh wow look at all those boxes wow let's see here one two three four five let's count one two three let's count one Nate there's six oh there's six we're good I just I was losing tracks it's quite Beyond oh who is that hahaha hello how is it okay I'm excited we got a total of 74 booster packs right in this box that's not even true 74. yeah I said where's your map that's a fun number oh is it not 74. it's not it's more 82 but it's not what predictions not a Cooper Ranger ex I just hold it okay sorry we got the skeleton oh oh amazing with Nate Marie and ando's help we managed to open all 216 of those packs in record time by the way we literally had so much awesome footage from these boxes that I'll be posting another video after this where we can showcase the rest of the crazy hits in all their Glory Holy Cannoli we made a huge dent I don't know how many I have left I'm gonna have to go ahead and count these out but just look at like every single box oh you guys what are you doing hey that's no that's mine you trying to steal hey knock it off that's fine this is mine how did that that's so that's so weird yeah that was so weird yeah keep an eye on my card man [Applause] this is the best day ever okay good night guys here is all of those cards that we just got from the sealed case of paudia evolved there are so many hits here I gotta go ahead and organize this and organize all of our bulk over here there's literally six boxes of bulk so we're gonna go ahead and get all of the commons uncommons and holographics out of this bowl plus go over here and get all of our hits and put them into our paleo evolve binder first I'm going to start by sorting the cards out by Pokemon type with each type getting its own stat from there we can start organizing them by number and placing them in the binder I'm also planning to complete the master set in today's video so I'll need to make sure I've got every single reverse card as well that's gonna take a little bit extra time so I'll be adding those in later the binder in number order I'm making sure to double check the numbers just in case I don't have some of the cards it's a huge bummer to accidentally miss a space and have to reorganize a bunch of the pages we managed to get the entire base part of the set done which means we got every single common uncommon Hollow and regular ex and now we can just focus on getting those secret errors at the end of the set we currently have 19 different art rares 14 full arts six special art rares and five gold cards I also opened up a few products from the Pokemon company earlier in the month so we went ahead and added those hits in as well in order to see which cards we've got and which cards we still need I'll be using the players guide which comes inside of the paldea evolved Elite Trainer Box this literally has an entire set list of paldaya evolved with their photos so this is absolutely perfect for this challenge okay so I just got finished setting up the binder I just checked off all of the cards we already had we are missing 42 secret rare Pokemon cards which seems like a lot but let it be known that there's 86 secretaries in the set so we're actually over halfway done with the secret rares also I'm dropping in a few of our duplicates here because I think these are gonna make some really good trade opportunities for us because the set is brand spanking new so hopefully we get some bites on some of the new palday evolve cards literally all of these are the duplicates from our boxes oh geez I'm at an event called card party and earlier in the day we broke a world record for the most Trading Card Game booster packs open at the same time and coincidentally all the packs that we opened were packs of paldaya evolved which hopefully means that there will be literally hundreds of extra hits floating around this weekend we got there uh a plaque yeah yeah it's pretty cool what what is it plaque for as the Guinness World Record most uh packs opened yeah at one one time yeah yeah car party yeah a part a pat pat let me borrow it for a minute yeah so yeah are you gonna give it back uh I gotta go oh okay yeah see ya anyway the first thing on the agenda is an official meet and greet it was super cool to meet all of you in person and I had an absolute blast chatting and pack battling with everyone also look at this cool sign whoa and afterwards a couple people stopped by the table to work out some trades all right so we're sitting here after our meet and greet so we're here with batch and I just look through my stuff I looked through their stuff we've got a pseudo Widow that I needed and you found a Mewtwo EX from Evolutions yeah that's awesome thank you for the train yep thank you yeah oh let me see I might still need the necklace let me double check so I still need this guy right here if you want to see maybe you know what I bet he would [Music] trip has picked out some fun stuff this gold ice rider Cali Rex yes okay if you're down I leaves us with 40 cards remaining at the event they had a Creator Lounge for all of us to just like hang out and I found local Legends Alex Ketchum organizing his pal Daya evolved cards right in front of my very eyes no IO no only two ultra rare trainers are you serious I'm dead serious look at all those yeah that's a good snack my man yeah it's not it's a good steak I didn't realize that was an egg I always thought that that was a plane I did not know those names until you just pointed out I'm missing so much I forgot [Music] I need Squad Billy you have squawka Billy uh you want a trade boy down 39 cards left to go guacamole oh hey I need that hey has a big note hey I need that I need that channeling my inner Squirtle Squad okay thanks Adam how do I look you look good and I was literally doing the same challenge as me we're both trying to complete the full set of how they evolved and he just cracked open a couple of fresh booster boxes so I have a good feeling that we can find some cards to help both of us the fact you've done this so quickly too is incredible oh I don't have the trophies that's pretty sick really yeah that one's awesome you got the selfie draw I love that one so much very very cute and oh you have a lot of trainers dendra is actually really tough for our people watching come to find and boss's order too 10 pound gold and you have both the energies so you really you saw most of these cards I mean a few of them I got from but I didn't realize one case would get you like the whole set of these puppies this is done yeah okay I've got a few cards I just opened up I've got doubles of them let's see if we can work out of trade okay it's perfect perfect yeah okay I have to trade for those friends with the sticky on it I love that oh there you go actually I may need to watch him let's have a look oh yeah you know what that's about it I need the rad skirt as well and I reckon those three for those four do you want to do that yeah really yeah that stuff okay all right all right foreign so we just got back from card party I finished organizing the rest of the binder we sorted through all of the bulk and got all of the reverses I'm missing like four random reverses and I'm actually only missing 35 secret rares only only 35 secret rares so our next stop is gonna be to go to a card store it's in the area and see if they have any of those extra cards they had a bunch of Pokemon cards in their display case at the front plus some booster packs for sale too um I'm looking at the clock of all EX gold yeah yeah that one either the Dedenne EX okay so we got the radiant Greninja and the sheen pal chain pow EX for the quad core ball ex that sound good sounds like a good deal cool thank you so much for the trade yeah you're very welcome we also picked up a few pounds of all blister packs to test our lug at pulling a few of those hits okay we got two three pack blisters and we got four single boosters single booster packs though baby seriously energy seriously double double dude double Duds that was raw bro are you kidding this is literally so disappointing oh there we go little frizzy bags and a Tyranitar literally this this was my fifty dollars worth of cards right here I got a frigid backs that was tough okay that was pretty bad I went to the store and got two more packs to see if we could redeem ourselves here get anything in these whoa check that out Oh yay wow after opening those bags I also did a couple of live streams on YouTube where I opened up a few more paldea of all products and our luck is finally turning around okay and we got [Music] literally Danny had opened this when I walked in and then we opened a pack wow bam few new ones to add to the binder after all that I added 11 new cards to the binder and we now have 22 cards remaining I'm also gonna freshen out my trade binder with a few of the duplicates we got from our last few unboxings on the channel we'll let you in oh I don't know I crawled to that event right there oh my God wait you have nothing missing so far this is really good progress what hello thank you what do you like in your fingers stop giving my pages all dirty I have this one actually okay you have that one the chi and pal okay I actually got this one okay oh my goodness these look so beautiful I need this one actually oh I'll bring this one too yeah I got one of these cards already here limited edition oh that one's a good one that one's a really really good one I'm genuinely so sad to see the Gardevoir ex girl and we actually just pulled these other ones these are fresh thank you so much man I appreciate it yeah hey two more cards down and 20 cards remaining we're literally only missing one gold which is awesome we've got a few spots missing here for the special illustration rares got a good chunk of the full arts as well as a good chunk of the art rares but there is a ton of those so we obviously have some gaps there but wish us luck on our next stop I'm hoping that we can finish out the good majority of this binder this is literally all we have left is some of the secret rares in the back we're at Frankenstein collectible show literally as we're walking in I've seen people walk out with hell they evolve stuff like literally somebody's walking out of the new league trainer box right now so I have a face opening it yeah genuinely I have faith that they're gonna have a bunch of the singles we need if not maybe we can pick up some actual Pokemon packs in here to open too [Music] let's go my son what are you doing oh these traps he's trapped Soul poker you okay we need to save them they're stuck back there look at all of it there's so much Pokemon stuff here like literally look at all these boots all these little shelves just filled with Pokemon plushes and you got all these little flushes hanging up this oh my gosh there's so many oh this case right here literally they've got the iono they've got Giacomo mark debacks back there we've got the meowskarana and the Tropius we do already have both of those oh that's a cute baby I asked tabs if we wanted to meet up at Frankenstein to do a trade if y'all remember Taps helped us out in our last binder Challenge and is also working on getting some cards from paldea evolved this time around you definitely need some help definitely some help hey hey hey we're doing pretty good if you have any of these cards let me know you still don't have the spaghettita no it's so weird I got two others for sure I got the Merrell and then I do have the full line okay the floor on that one and you have any Pokemon cards you want to trade um okay look at all these cards in here this show has so many vendors and so many different cards I'm seeing some from like Crown Zenith a couple of like silver Tempest car like a bunch of different sets so we were literally getting tacos off to the side and we ran into these two who were organizing their pelbea of all binder you guys are literally here like doing the exact same thing I think pretty much yeah in a different way you guys are way farther on your quest how many cards are you missing wow so I couldn't help y'all on your quest for those five missing cards but I think this is good you guys really wanted these cards so I am so happy to do that train thank you so much this set has to be one of the hardest to complete out of any of the recent Pokemon card sets but we managed to work on a trade that worked out really well for both of us the last gold that we needed [Music] wow that's so exciting it's all coming together gang we got four new cards for the binder leaving us with just 12 cards remaining ice cream with a fork that was so good I can't eat it I'm sorry there was so much fun stuff in the show that I was legit just getting distracted left and right this is too fun Giacomo oh they do have a lot oh my gosh I stopped by a few other vendors at the show but some of their prices were a little bit higher than what I was willing to trade or pay for the cards and on top of that some of the vendors actually wanted to trade for my cards at 70 to 80 percent of their actual market value which I get it these are card shops they're obviously there to make money but it made it really really tough to try to justify some of the trades yeah all right what are we working with okay check out this stack okay okay okay how long did it take you to pull the Magikarp the Magic Carpet took me one oh my god I've opened like kind of nine booster boxes have not pulled the magic card pause joker games had a bunch of the cards that we needed this is perfect did you itemize specifically with the Magikarp and Ayanna was like do you remember okay yeah okay we're going through picking out some some duplicates oh you are picking out some goodies based on the prices that they had for them I snagged a few that were within the range that we wanted to trade The Magikarp card at the time of recording this is valued at over 80 dollars which I think is way too high and I'm willing about that that price will eventually come down so I'm actually gonna hold off on that one I think that's a little too steep hopefully we can actually pull this card or maybe find somebody else who has it for trade we've come to an agreement we've looked up we've crunched the numbers on these so we've got the wo Chien yeah these were some big ones that I was searching for for a while wojianexual or thworm skeletors and Giacomo and then we got two big hitters over here Rawls from Scarlet Violet base thank you so much for the train yay five more cards added to the binder and this just leaves us with seven cards remaining I'm still missing a few of the big hitters so we're gonna snag some packs to open to test our luck on the way out thank you so much you're lucky all right so we went to go check out for this paldaya evolved ETV and Taps literally just bought it for us thank you so much oh my gosh yeah we'll see what we get I'm hoping for The Magikarp or the Iona man either of the Iona they're literally shutting this place down like they're turning off the lights and everything hey this is a book yes it has all the cards in from that last unboxing where we only got two regular exes okay at this point we've probably opened up close to 11 or 12 booster boxes worth of Pokemon cards so this has to be the last unboxing I right I'm getting kind of desperate here I feel like we've pretty much hit all of the big spots and I thought would get us enough cards to complete this binder but we're still missing these six I'm literally about to post on my Instagram story does he have anyone in the LA area has any of these last six cards I need this is killing me wish me luck three days later okay so the Instagram story worked I worked out a couple of different trades they're actually through the mail so let's see what we got the package we almost got to the car oh my gosh here we go the annihilate EX full art it's here in the flesh and there was no way this was getting damaged along its Journey so this was from another content creator poke wangs and we are now one step closer to our binder completion we're only missing five cards I love mail oh all right and this one's from Max and we were gonna trade for a few different cards of course these are two paldea evolve cards I can't get how do I how do you do oh the aiono full arts hello that looks amazing Annie Raichu the sleeping Raichu art rare and in addition to that they sent a really cute Oddish from Team Rocket oh how precious so very good mail day thank you guys so much for the cards I'm still missing three out of the set that has 279 I think we have 276. all right so the only ones that we are missing is the Magikarp art rare the iono special illustration rare in the groucha special illustration mirror this is brutal coming back to Next Gen gonna see if they have those last three cards that we're looking for we're back the iono alternate art don't have it is special illustration uh I think I already sold one yeah and then the last one is the magic card part I do recommend that um The Magikarp was listed for 65 which was actually a lot cheaper than some of the other prices I saw plus they said that the price was actually trending down a little bit so they actually went lower on the value to 55 which I was really happy with all of these hits right here equate to one Magikarp the best Pokemon the little fish that could thank you so much for the trade I really appreciate it I've been looking everywhere for this so thank you The Magikarp has finally been acquired and now we've got page after page after page of every single card in the set except for two cards in particular so our journey doesn't stop here oh my God oh my God where did you did you pull that no I didn't I actually bought this because it looks so clean but then I pulled another one so I have two right now but I don't want to let this one go maybe I might make a deal I'm fixing to work out a deal is yeah do you wanna okay so Alex said that we could pack battle to the death and bite to the death I mean we can pack battle and if I win I get to trade for this item I get the the privilege of potentially trading for this beautiful car okay there it goes there it goes okay no okay yo yo oh yeah so I won the pack battle which means I now have the right to trade for this car how exciting it's not Rick those are your packs it hurts so bad after the pack battle we watched Pokemon coolest watch party crowd ever serenadechenny the voice of Ash Ketchum hosted a party to watch Ash Ketchum become Pokemon champion with a bunch of her friends and cats from the show [Music] yeah and just like that aiono's special illustration rare has been added to the binder so Alex and I agreed on a sealed booster box of paldea evolved in exchange for the iono's special illustration rant I'm super curious to see what he gets out of here if he ends up pulling an iono I'm gonna lose my freaking mind we've literally gotten every single card in the set except for the grusha special illustration rare that is the last one left in the entire binder oh my goodness I am on my way to do our very last trade for our binder we have found trade with is somebody I'm actually I'm actually excited to read to wreaked with is my friend Max and I actually haven't seen Max in probably like eight years it's really really cool that even after all these years we're both still interested in Pokemon and I think this is gonna be an awesome last trade okay be cool be cool be cool hey everybody Welcome to Los Angeles oh come on it's not even legal this is a very Scenic spot to do a trade Max what's up Max what up it's been so long 10 years it has been has it been that long eight years maybe Max and I both collected Pokemon cards around the same time and would see each other at different pre-release events in Michigan plus we both attended the international championships in Indianapolis in 2015. but yeah I remember it's like the simplest of times on YouTube and it was an honor to be a part of that era with you yeah yeah same with you because you continued and I didn't it's nice to still have the familiar faces in the community super duper tutorial stickers in there what these are probably from like 2012 or something like this is crazy I can't believe this wow dude this is very nostalgic even being here with you is kind of nostalgic oh you're a zardy boy yeah that one oh the secret rare one yeah three max what the heck this is so good it's weird that you got duplicates though but you got so many exes you got all of these full arts art rares I want to show you my Pokemon card binder and I would like to get your opinion on it oh this is nice this is yeah that Magikarp is awesome I had to trade so much so much you notice there's literally one spot missing right there you know it would go great right there is a grusha trade binder [Music] no way there
