in this episode of f marker rescue we're going on a road trip to Paradise my husband and I just got back from vacation and while we were on vacation we came across some great places and I found a lot of great finds which I am so excited to share with you so if you're ready for this week's episode then let's go ahead and Dive Right In before we get started for those of you who are new here to flea market rescue I just want to welcome you my name is Kelly Sherry I do thrift store makeovers with my funny pal Jenny mhm I also love taking you along as we go to the thrift stores the garage sales and well you guys it has been over 10 years since I've taken a vacation with my husband so we decided to go to Florida and take a cruise from there we boarded a ship called the Mariner of the Seas and that's by Royal Caribbean and they've got this down pat the food was amazing the places we stopped were amazing the service was just incredible we had such a great time I'm so thankful that we were able to do this one thing though I was completely off the grid I had no internet I couldn't text anyone I couldn't look anything up and to make a call it was 5.99 a minute so I was completely cut off from the outside world but in hindsight maybe that was a good thing because it did give us a lot of rest and relaxation and uh it was just Tim and I without our phones let me tell you one thing though as soon as that ship docked I couldn't wait to get on my phone and see what I missed all week oh I was definitely catching up on things anyway since we are still in Florida we decided to go to his cousin Carol's who lives in Sun City Florida and she asked me hey do you want to go to a couple Goodwills heck yeah I do the first Goodwill we went to was in Sun Point Florida now his cousin was telling me like these Goodwills here have a lot of new stuff donated but it's pretty expensive so let's go ahead and take a pig for oursel and see well these are some gorgeous pieces and they do appear to be pretty new this is a beautiful lamp but $39.99 I'm not going to pay that no way [Music] Jose okay okay well at least it's getting a little better o look at these down here $4.99 that is just crazy I am not going to pay that these lamps are gorgeous but $39.99 I think Carol is right yeah there's a lot of new stuff and it's pretty expensive I love these pillows I'm trying to stay positive all right now this is more like my speed here I like this picture but let's take a look and see how much it is 698 that's not too bad wowe they got a lot of glass wear here and when I say a lot I mean a lot their prices on the glassw are really good I have to say oh now I really like these they have a great look to them but at $2.98 each I don't know that I can make any money on them this is so stinking cute with the scale up it needs a good cleaning but at $4.98 I don't think that's a bad price for this it's Pretty stinking cute oh look at this bird that's cute okay $4.98 I don't think that's a bad price I'm going to get [Music] this maybe I need this sheep too man they like the price $4.98 don't they yeah he's cute these little vases are kind of cute 298 you know if this is a garage sale I probably could pick them up for 50 cents each so I'm just going to pass on these cuz I'm not quite sure that I want to spend $2.98 on them each oh look look back here we have a rayun piece hangry yeah I can understand that 498 again I like how they have the burlap around these at$ 4.98 each I'm probably going to pass on these but I am going to keep in mind that I like the burlap and that's something I can do on an inexpensive jar minus the flower I'm not really into that I like things to be like very simple and really natural looking I think I'm going to have to get these candlesticks I'm really loving them they're gorgeous oh yeah they're coming home with me m I don't know about this one I mean I like those half windmills this one's feeling a little cheap so I'm probably going to put it back I've got to see the sign underneath here oh okay well I don't know I'm probably not going to get it yeah I'm just going to pass on this one I love The Rustic look of this the Rope is all broken up I don't know if there was a few strung together or what but H all right this is another one I'm going to pass on to oh my gosh I love these look at that weren't we just looking at some like this this is only $8.98 now I did check the other one that had the lamp shade and that was $12.98 now I really love these but I will have to buy new lamp shades so for that reason I am leaving these behind but they have a really good look and if they had both had like a really nice lampshade with it I definitely would have gotten them oh look at the little white creamer I love that it's only $2.98 we're going to get that oh look you guys some more Ray done bowls oh but see $6.98 I think that's just a little bit on the higher side I would like to pay like $4.99 so for that reason I'm going to pass on these two but I really like them I kind of like this I can see flowers in it you know Springs right around around the corner yeah maybe we'll get this too and what's coming up even faster is Valentine's Day oh look when you know it the clip is broke on this darn and I just don't want to Monkey around trying to fix this wow love this picture it's heavy it feels like Stone it almost reminds me of Hearth and hand oh this picture is pretty cool too I could have guessed what price it was this is really stained inside though so I don't know I don't think I'm going to get this this is kind of cool but I don't know I don't know what I would do with that all right I think we have found everything we're going to find here so Carol's going to take me to another Goodwill a little fur further away this one we're going to is a lot bigger too this one here is the Goodwill in Riverview Florida alen and Roth $10.99 okay more new stuff we're just going to mosy past here oh look at this welcome sign okay $10 all right let's just keep looking I do like it I'll keep it in mind this Candlestick is really nice I like the color of the wood this one however has way too many knots for me oh look at the a I love this hang tag there's got to be someone who has an a name who's definitely going to want this so I'm going to get it this black tray caught my eye right away however it's really thin and it's like a woven basket I guess these two come together I'm not even seeing a price on it this is a little interesting okay I can see it over a plate you could put some Greenery and little pots underneath [Music] it oh I think I'm going to need this little plant [Music] oh there's two of them well we'll just get them both yeah they're sharp oh my gosh this picture is just gorgeous I cannot pass this up it's only $10 you guys $9.99 oh wow here's another really good one anyone who loves riding a bike is going to love [Music] this look how pretty it is you guys oh and it's only $7 that's like a no-brainer we're getting this carol even found a sign for her house here in Florida in life are the people we love and places we've been in the memories yeah you know what Carol that sums everything up I love the sign grab it I like this one too FYI I ended up getting it this would be great if you had those little clothes pens and you put some like black and white photos on there it would look really good oh look what I noticed this sign with the welcome on it I like that but the Carol pointed out it's missing an e so needless to say I put it back darn oh look some more of those metal people remember just a couple weeks ago I picked up two of these I like this metal can that's kind of cool okay this looks like some kind of candle holder Lantern type thing I don't know if I'm really sold on it I think it probably should have had glass in it so for that reason I'm not going to get it this Lantern's pretty neat though I wonder how much it is oh that's not bad $6.98 I'm still deciding whether I want it or not though we'll see wow look at all the platters they have that one on the bottom is really Grand isn't it wow look at this you guys boy these are heavy now you know there were more than $4.99 at Hobby Lobby you know what I have these exact same stocking holders that say peace now if I lived in Florida I probably would buy this this has the perfect metal look and The Price is Right $4.98 at first I thought these were coasters but now I think they're just milestones for like you know baby pictures [Music] these are really nice they're not plastic and they're like a ceramic Pottery type pot well well well what do we have here look at these These are really interesting at first I thought they're wood but they're really ceramic I may need to get these yep come on jump in my basket these really do look high-end oh wow look at this on the floor oh I think I need this too I love the look of this bucket the Rope handles are a perfect touch wow this measuring cup has sort of like an industrial even scientific kind of look to it it's really neat I would take that white cap right out of there and then add some water and maybe a Greenery type plant that can kind of dry rpe over and hang over the side I think it would look really cool oh my gosh I've never seen mugs like this look at this you guys good Diva huh here's another one and there's one more on the Shelf these are so elegant and I don't even care that they have the GD Diva stamp in them because I would make a whole Arrangement out of these you could put a little Santa some candy canes a little Greenery these are going to be perfect for Christmas and I'm gonna hang on to them I love love love these thank you kadiva this is interesting I like it because it's beige and it has a nice Sleek look about it but then the more I look at it it looks like a little Waste Paper basket too so I don't know I think I'm going to pass on this one wait a minute wait a minute all right I'm not grabbing for this face I want those green flowers if I can get them down without breaking this woo okay I got these down without breaking anything oh yeah these are a must I have to get these they would look great in any vase wow we're doing pretty darn good here I'd have to say riverv viiew is a two thumbs up for me and we're not even done yet oh look at these with the succulents in them [Music] very gardeny I like these teapots with that little Crystal kind of top to it $6.99 that's not too bad they sure got a lot of these I spotted this in a bin of things that they were going to put on the shelves and I asked the woman can I just take this she said sure this is great for $5 oh this is a cool Mickey cup I love the graphics on it and it says never give up and I especially like it cuz that's where we're headed we're going to Disney after we leave Carol's I'm pretty excited for this because I love Disney I love this pillow oh my gosh I love the sunshiny yellow if you remember in my previous video I picked up some yellow pillows and they just scream happiness and this I think does as well except for that little knot what is that oh darn here's two more down here okay these look good $6.99 you can't go wrong these are brand new pillows brand new this is a cool laundry cart but $24.98 I will not be getting this this glass pumpkin is pretty pretty neat and it's really a great price for that oh these are R done I think we're missing one where's the other home the bees on this pot really caught my eye but the greenery just looks too plasticky and a little bit cheap I went back down the wood aisle I came across this little wagon how did I miss that I love everything but the flower put a couple bunnies in there maybe some carrots it'd be super cute oh my gosh I went to the flea market once and came across these and they were $12 a pair they were so neat these are $4.98 for [Music] both if this wasn't $10 I would have definitely got it these are really earthy kind of candle holders I really like that but at $6.98 I just think that's a little high for this maybe if it was $4.98 I would get it but not at $6.98 all right I don't know if it's $10 for the lamb shade or is it $10 for the whole thing but I'm guessing it's probably $10 for the lampshade since we've seen them up front for that price anyone need a unicorn on my way to the checkout I came across this be mine heart and I had to get it because I mean Valentine's Day is just 14 days away well I have to say I really love this Goodwill again I would give it two thumbs up and we found a lot of great stuff here after Carol's we were headed to Disney but before we leave Carol's I have to show you what she had in her house look at you guys my mom would have loved this you know how my mom loves fake fruit yep that was right up her rally anyway thank you Carol for letting us stay and taking me to the Goodwills I had a wonderful time so yeah we were off to Disney I could not wait I love Disney it's like the happiest place ever when we got to the Magic Kingdom we had to wait 70 minutes in line for the Haunted Mansion though that is a long time I thought I was going to end up in here it seems that they don't have the fast pass anymore you have to buy the lightning pass which is $40 per person oh well all in all we had a great time and it was now time to head back to Michigan bye Florida we will miss you because when we left Michigan was 5° BR on the way home I asked my husband do you mind if we stop at a couple thrift stores he said sure So when we got into Georgia I found a thrift store that was along the way it was down I 75 and I thought you know what let's stop at this one we just pulled up at the Goodwill here in Georgia I'm so excited it looks like it's going to be a good one at least I'm hoping all right let's check it out right away I noticed there were no carts this has to be a good Goodwill if there's no carts left look at this magnificent piece oh my gosh $40 oh my gosh you guys I think I'm going to need to sit down woo that's crazy I wonder how much these are $24.95 okay $5.99 that's totally reasonable kind of like these chickens but you know I would totally paint them okay $1.99 that's like perfect a this guy has a chip on his head you know what's funny it looks like these two are talking like hey did you see how much that cake stand was oh look at this this is really pretty but at $14.99 we're not going to be able to make any money on this oh well these are pretty but it's just not really what I'm looking [Music] for now this is cool and it's only $3.99 that's right up our alley and I'm kind of liking this too this tobacco basket with the welcome sign I wonder how much that [Music] is $7.99 that's decent I think I could probably make some money on this let's take a look at this here man I really wish they had carts $7.99 that's a little on the higher side I'd probably want to pay like $4.99 for for it so we're just going to put this back eh oh look at these birds you guys we're going to have to get these it's kind of hard to hold your things and get something out but I did and look his beaks broken off man we're not doing too good [Music] here this is kind of a cool strainer I don't know at this point I think I'm just trying to find anything with my husband in the car and me not really finding anything I thought you know what let's try another Goodwill somewhere else when I got back in the car my husband's like you want to drive for a while and I'm like yeah you look up a Goodwill we can go to so we started driving to the Goodwill that he picked out and when we got there it was a donation center he was like well I don't know boy where's Debbie I need Debbie so we ended up just driving for a while and then when we got into Kentucky we decided to stop at another Goodwill that I was hoping and praying would be good all right so we are in Kentucky right now we're going to go in here I came across this little kid shelf it was pretty cute but I was like uh I don't know I I'll think about this one truly though at $3.99 that really is a great price for the Shelf these little nutcrackers were cute for 0 that's a good price I think but I don't need any more Christmas I'm trying to find Spring stuff oh what is this I like the white distressing of it I probably would get rid of joyful and do something totally different on there but at $1.99 this is a really good price for this hope that's definitely what I need because I'm not really finding a lot at this store here boy when you guys tell me you don't have any good thrift stores like we do in Michigan I'm starting to believe you wait I spotted something over here oh I love this bag it looks really like boho it has my classic black and white but look at the bottom of it the one thing I love in this store and it's damaged all right you guys I'm really not finding a lot in here I did come across these ruby slippers though and I thought yep there's no place like home so I headed back to the car and he's like you want to get some McDonald's I'm like yeah sure just as we were going to pull in I saw this Peddler's Mall what was this I had to go check it out and boy oh boy did this turn my losing streak around the first thing I came across was this Greenery ball these are perfect to put on top of vases yep I'm going to get [Music] this these are really nice I wonder how much these [Music] are okay at $29 if you really think about it that's like $10 each you could resell these and more than double your money oh look at this wooden bucket down here at $25 you're really not going to make any money on this but it would make a nice display piece in your booth or your store you could roll up some rugs or you know just things like that this guy caught my eye right away he was really cool but then when I read welcome we're open come on in I thought you know what only store owners probably would want this but now that I'm thinking about it I should have got it it was one of my big regrets it was only $13.99 and I feel like it was so worth it I thought this was really cool but it was $49.95 and that's just way more than what I would want to spend on it like anything you have to just kind of look around some pieces are priced a little higher than others but I am finding some really cool stuff here I love the look of this I know $8.99 is a little bit higher than what I probably would normally spend but I definitely could double my money so for that reason we are going to get it oh look you guys how stinking cute is that with Valentine's coming up oh I can see that hanging [Music] somewhere let me see if I can find a price okay $13 it's super cute but how much am I going to make on that sometimes you have to figure out whether something is worth buying or not on this I probably would make about $5 at top $7 and it is for like a limited season because this is more like a Valentine's thing and we have 14 days to sell it I normally like to find things that I can at least double my money on and this one's not it but it's so stinking cute and if you were buying it for yourself this would be a great price this table is really gorgeous I love the carvings on it not really seeing a price on it but it is [Music] beautiful I literally sold one of these not too long ago and I'm definitely going to get this one they're perfect to put all your little coffee pods in oh you look at these rooster cups they're so cute oh four for $7.99 that's only $2 a cup wow they even carry Dixie Bel paints here they have some cool rice papers here you could decupage onto Furniture wow just look at all these colors I like when they do that because you can really see the true color of the paint Ray done we're getting ready for Easter here $5 that's not bad another $5 yeah she has good prices here lucky day yeah I'm kind of having a lucky day right [Music] [Music] now wow look at that is that ever glamorous I could totally see Marilyn Mur laying on this oh this is one old mold I could totally see this in a kitchen with an apron hanging maybe some Wooden Spoons tucked in the pocket of the apron it even looks like it has a hook at the bottom here and it's only $10 it's very cool that Hutch is very old and very [Music] Charming oh let me check out this ladder of course not for sale I always find the things that are not for sale tobacco sticks $4 now is that $4 each or is it $4 for the bundle I'm not sure what I am sure of is you can make some cool stuff with this I see things made with tobacco sticks all the time in Springfield so I just met April here and she's going to meet us at the big ice cream cone tomorrow yep and have you got anything yet just a couple things got a little this is tobac this is made out tobacco steaks oh that is really cool for $5 that's a good score so at $4 a stick this would not be good but if it's for the bundle then it probably would be because we can make a few pumpkins out of it or we could even make a cool looking fall fence I think I might need this oh another display only [Music] [Music] a I like it but not for $8 this is a little wobbly looks like I can't really tighten it because I'd have to rip the felt off the bottom and it's 20 bucks too so we're going to pass on that I love this picture though and it's only $5 this is kind of cool too and $8 that's a good price on this oh you're going to have to come home with me I love this woolly sheep I love the rusty hinges it's really cool at first I thought it said $42 but it's her Booth so it's only $10 yeah I'm definitely going to get this can I tell you this mold might save $50 but I have seen them go anywhere from 125 to 150 so this is a steal here oh wow I love this bird and it's $5.95 that's a really good price let's check out the other ones here too [Music] yep 5.95 too oh I want this picture this picture is like elegant I love it and 5.95 you can't go wrong it looks like they have a bigger one over here too and that one's [Music] $7.95 let's just look around here because this woman has really good prices and I like her things this rabbit caught my eye but look there's a bun pan you guys looks like she has a lot of milk glass there and she even has a really awesome a [Music] there I see these a lot at the flea market this says they're from Avon I would have never known I love this curved rod on that natural wood it displays her rice papers so nicely this is kind of cute and 3.95 yeah her prices are [Music] great oh I'm not going to be able to pass up this cup it's enamel it has the black rim during Christmas you could put a potted Pine in there it would be super super cute I love the color of this book I can see it on a coffee table and then layering other items on it this is interesting it's $18 though and that's just more than what I want to spend and I really don't think I can make any money on it but it's definitely unusual and it's very interesting wow I've been in here so long that I forgot that I had a husband in the car I love this place I could be in here for a lot longer this next Booth when I saw that I was like I have to have this then I looked at the tag $ 39.50 I don't want to spend $40 for this I can't make any money on it but if you were going to buy it for yourself then maybe I totally could see this in a bedroom and you would hang your long ring of pearls or whatever long necklaces you have off of it so I walked away and then I kept thinking about it I want it for my bedroom so I put it in my cart but then when I got up to the checkout I just couldn't do it I'm like I can't spend $40 on this so this is one item that I did pass up so if you guys want it you know where it's at oink oink how cute kind of like these geese though is that a geese or Swan I'm not sure but I like them oh wow that is one old baby crib you can put all kinds of stuff in there as a display well you guys at this point I just needed to head to the checkout because my husband was still in the car it had been over an hour and I needed to go but truly I could have stayed there longer I thoroughly enjoyed Peddler's Mall and I definitely recommend it if you're in the area and what's the nice thing is they have multiple locations so go ahead and screenshot this and if you're in the area I would definitely check them out if they're anything like the one we just visited I think you're really going to enjoy them well you guys I have to say I had an amazing vacation but it is good to be home well you guys if you want a chance to buy some of these items as well as some other things that I'll have available on online shopping is going to be back the official date will be announced because we're still working on the website almost finished but I just want to make sure that we have all our tees crossed and our eyes dotted most likely I want to say it's going to be the third week of this month but again next week I will announce the official date of online shopping so stay tuned also don't forget our spring open house is on March 23rd 2024 we're going to have tons of spring Decor two tents food beverages Raffles and
