joining i am in the people's call center i'm here at scammer payback headquarters let me just show you what's going on you can see up in the corner where we're at we're in the people's call center and i'm sitting next to carl rock in the background you can see a guy with blue hair that's pierogi you can see jim browning walking around you can see deo you can see a lot of familiar faces for those of you joining here's what i want to tell you what we're doing today i've worked with jim browning who [Music] who has managed to do what he does and he has managed to get us connected to a call center that's based out of india the way this scam works is is they are pretending to be youtube tv so typically what happens is if you're having issues with youtube tv maybe you have a subscription to tv uh you want a canceler or maybe you saw a charge that you don't like and you you google youtube tv and you see um and you see uh you know a number that pops up scammers do this they create ads that will they'll go to the top of a google search and um and what will happen is uh you'll click on the first thing that you see typically you're not clicking on the number for youtube support you're clicking on a number for scammers and so a lot of these victims right now as we speak they are calling in thinking they're talking to google or youtube support but they're getting connected to scammers so the scammers will say oh yeah we'll help you cancel your account oh yeah we'll help you reverse that charge but first we have to connect to your computer or connect to your phone and once they get connected to your phone they say open up your bank account you know move money from this account to this account buy gift cards a lot of you think how could people fall for that well i'm going to show you how they do fall for it because you and me together we are going to listen in as scammers um talk to these victims we are going to be spying on scammers today we're going to be listening to him right now so i'm gonna jump in just to give you a taste of how it works first i want to say thanks to dave dennis for the super chat i also want to say thanks to pun sped for the super chat you guys make this possible so um let me just give you a taste of what you hear here at the people's call center so let's listen in i'm going to see if i can pull up the audio a little bit they don't pop up on my phone what you're hearing right now is a victim a real life victim who is called into a scam center and they are thinking that they're talking to an actual person from um youtube google okay so do one thing sir just open the wells fargo i we will have to do a dummy transaction so we will be able to know that yet that yes you are the owner of that account so then it will be easy to transfer the money directly into your wells fargo just open the wells fargo and let me see what you let me tell what you can see in the wells fargo just open it what do you do yeah okay so can you see pay and transfers some of you are saying the audio is delayed so i'm gonna i'm gonna change my delay a little bit you let me know if it's better or worse so go one sec so just click on send money you can see the zel you know what i got i gotta call it right now [Music] but we will get to know that yes you are the uh like owner of the account okay it is just for the identification identity verification we will get to know that yes you are the main owner of that three 0 7 0 4 4 6. this guy's going to make a payment i got to stop him can you see a plus sign in front of the search panel three three zero oh my gosh he's not gonna answer his phone let me see what i can do this audio a little bit just stay online we will have to make a dummy account from like with the dummy account you will be able to do a dummy transaction so that it will not go through just type in the testing the audio let's see if this is any better testing the audio yeah i can hear you sir so in the first name you need to type a-n-n-i-e in first name sir [Music] yes in the last name type t-a-y testing the audio one more time this is any better or worse t-a-y l-o-r taylor l as in lima yeah taylor now click on the mobile number okay if you're just joining us we're listening in real time to a scammer trying to make off with a victim's money and i'm trying to intercept it but the guy is got his phone uh shut off he's not answering his phone so maybe we can maybe we can try sending them a text you can see recipient email or mobile number click on that bro you gotta answer your phone um [Music] are we going to save listening one more time now as a guy has called into hero he thinks he's talking to google right now he thinks he's talking to youtube you can see the arrow this guy is going to help it you can only cancel i'm not sending you 400 as i told you dollars this is a dummy transaction okay the dummy transaction is just for the identity verification it will get cancelled in the end it is not going through okay you again you will have to he's not answering the phone he's not answering my texts um but hopefully this guy is going to realize do not fall for this click on review it is a dummy transaction server transactions [Music] so we will get to know that yes you are the really you are the owner of the account then it will take only yeah so don't do it it won't it won't let me click on review oh my gosh we can't like it's already frozen or something okay yeah parental guidance now we might witness type the first name i might have to hang again this is going to break my heart a-n-n well he okay it's gone quiet i don't know what's happening i don't know if the guy's making a payment or not he said that you know the password i don't know what that means is it means that he doesn't accept calls when he's on hold we're going to witness a murder everybody i can't hear anything though i don't know if the guy is i don't know where he is um everything's gone quiet so i don't know what's happening [Music] okay this has gone quiet and i don't know what's happening but i've got to move on to the next victim i think i hope to come back to this and stop it but i got i got my my guys here i got cena i got daniel they're going to start texting this guy they're going to try to stop to this i gotta call someone else is that subscription it hasn't expired yet it's 48 hours all right has already been expired if you're just joining us um we're in this we're in the people's call center we're here with jim browning where's jim jim is around here somewhere jim browning has gotten us access to a call center in india this scam is impersonating youtube so if you have a problem with your youtube maybe your youtube tv i use youtube tv i pay for youtube tv you call when you want to get your account canceled or maybe you see a charge that you didn't approve and you want to you know sort that out you google youtube tv support sometimes you might see a scammer link at the top of the google reserve the google results and that is a scammer who has created that link they've created they bought an ad they want to appear like they are the youtube support team and so you get connected to them and they say oh we're going to help you we're going to we're going to fix this for you but a lot of the times they just want to scam you all the time they want to scam you so i'm here with another victim let's kind of try to figure out where in the scam they are okay so it hasn't expired yet right it has been expired how i just did it yesterday it said that you have a uh you cannot log into that account anymore that's the reason you are looking at your pick up the phone how long i'll go back and try to listen are you there okay hello has been forwarded to an automatic voice okay i'm gonna put brandon on him brandon's gonna try to call that guy he did a free trial yesterday i'm gonna go i'm in it i'm gonna go try to get this other call so to sign up you have to go ahead and supply a form of payment as required right that is so now i'm on the line with that first guy and it's gone quiet so i don't know what's happening i don't know what's happening over there i don't know if that guy fell for it i don't know if he hung up i'm still showing an open line but it's gone quiet i'm praying that he didn't fall for it he was seconds away from doing it i've got cena and daniel on that guy we're going to find out but while we're looking at that let's go back to this other guy and see if we can find out over there yes just give me a minute all right we're listening four five one oh nine now hit on this send he's about hits in send oh no now click on the if you receive any call do not receive a between that and uh what it is asking for you let me know all right let me text him i'm gonna text this guy i'm sorry what okay when you click on the send what do you see with the orange screen sir you can listen to me saying don't answer the calls okay text this guy's getting close he's going to fall for it and please do you see the select one from there is going down click on that call him again call him again yeah i see that please choose a second options do not receive any call between this do not receive any call between this okay we gotta blow him up with text i'm not giving you guys all my money no no no no no you do you are not giving a money sir i'm going to refund the funds right now back to your checking account it doesn't just feel like they're in like i need my 400 back right now i think okay 400 i'm going to refund right now sir you just have to do not receive any call between the uh your recorded line so otherwise your money is not going to back to you answer it's a scam i don't have any does anybody feel like we're watching like an intense i i i'm more nervous now than i was during top gun anything we are refunding your funds and we are helping you and you you're we are refunding your 62 dollar also so you need to click on open and three zero zero just give me one minute you're going to get the funds back to you you're going to get the funds into your savings oh my god you're going to get by savings hey my savings is locked i can't use my savings it's locked my savings is locked i got a call well i understand but what i'm saying thank you so so han for the super chat um why do i keep getting phone calls like what the [ __ ] is it because i'm calling you because you're following us where are you getting a call can you let me know where you're getting your mother effort minnesota i'm sorry but the person you called i will let you know within one minute you are getting your funds back to you sir my gosh hey sir i cannot click on my savings it will not let me transfer any more than your text man i took my last four hundred dollars oh my gosh she just lost four hundred dollars we are refunding the funds back to you have you ever you can understand that so what i'm telling you we are refunding the funds back to you we are refunding the funds back to you use your money back get your we need to use the saving mode you need to click on that am i audible what i'm telling you this because for the customer security i'm sorry but the person you called has a voice it's like watching a horror movie i'm sorry but the person you called has a voice mailbox i send you the message that bro stop talking to scammers i send you the message i'm sending you it's a scam do not do it because you are receiving the call that's why i'm sending you the text you understand the text to you what i'm saying that you need to follow the procedure hit on the zla so i'm not receiving any call that's why i send you the listener the text do not you have to click on it i'm going to call him again okay god tell his phone breaks i cannot send you any more money i'm sorry but the person are you calling them he got our text messages he saw the text that said i'm telling you you are going to get it but the scammer is saying oh that's me sending the text messages you're not going to receive any funds click on the valet and proceed in one minute you are getting your funds and then you can if you don't want to talk to me then you can hang up the call so so please do not receive any call what i'm saying please click on he's already selling and i cannot touch any of my money on my [ __ ] cell phone i just told you that my [Music] sir i send you the text please open a text open a text i send you the text this camera open it takes 400 dollars from him he's going to go all right he's going to go forever but the person you called has a youtube voice open pleasant green youtube channel he just gotta text us at open pleasant green youtube channel oh no he's gonna hear himself he did not send that you are live in youtube right now on pleasant green youtube channel yes so you do not have to answer the phone because you are getting that from the scammers that are yeah they want to speak to you sir you open a text message a next one if you are going to open the next message stop that's a scam please stop i'm sending you this text please hit on the back and open the third message and third third option yeah yeah the fourth options contact your bank dispute the transaction report the scammer do you see that yeah i do show me i'm a mac guy yes and this is from the scammers who want to take a money from you i'm helping you over here because if you hang up on me and receive their call you are getting charged everything you are not going to get anything into your account so that's why we are under the recorded line from federal trade commissioner okay who am i talking to who am i talking about i'm a senior supervisor on the floor my name is alex my employer is d101 and you need to follow the steps you are going to get the funds once you are getting your funds back to you you are not receiving any call from scammers because your phone is going to be hacked on the server we need to follow the steps quick sir we have to transfer the funds right now and then you can get your phones do not receive any call between that save the desktop if you receive any call okay i just thank you 400 you are going to get the funds i'm not level to any financial loss if you are not we just took a picture understanding you're breaking up now it says you're being scammed i'm saying sir i will be not responsible for money that you are losing if you receive any call from anybody else you're losing your money 400 dollars so that for that i will not be able to pay back to you he's great he's not happy now are you able to understand what i'm saying thank you troy van here for the super chat yeah i'm still kind of funny to give back to this guy i don't know what to do here because i just sent you 400. you want your 400 back yeah all right and then open uh open a zelly and let me know i'm going to i'm sorry but the person you called has a voice mailbox that has not been well maybe i should set it up you need to open up i already did that thank you dimitra b for the super chat i will tell you we're probably gonna have to use this money to pay back just do it fast because you are getting calls hit on this end i already did that you are not sending any money why are you not understanding that you are getting calls from scammers you want to you want to lose all your money click on any tailor right now dude i just sent you 400 i don't understand i just need my 62 back you're not going to get it back i i'm saying that why would i why would i say that 400 now he wants more it's you are receiving 462 dollar back thanks click on any teller now we're gonna we're gonna stop this before it gets any further click on any trailer okay i clicked on yeah yes now type zero zero okay now what you don't type 300 just attach your accounts with our system so that i can transfer your type check 2 0 0 only me why do you want me to type 300 okay do not type 300 because the system is asking for okay do one thing you can type 200 okay if you are not feeling good so you can type any tiller i don't have 200 okay if i want to take your money i can take 50 dollars i just told you that it will not let me do that okay do it fifty dollars sir okay do it i have to go oh my god right now you do not have to uh hang up the call because your money is detected from your account 400 uh you need to get i'm sorry but the person you know once you've done that you're going to receive the funds into your saving accounts yeah we did send him a photo text we took a picture of a photo hit on the any tailor five zero and hit on the review and hit on this [ __ ] hit on me so [ __ ] bad you're going to send me i'm going now now what happened when i did it what happened your account is going to be connected with the uh server so that you get getting your reference back 462 just do it one time and you are getting no no you are not sending i'm sending you you have to just click on send and in the next phase it is coming up our next option the first you need to understand yeah i understand that i you are going to get 462 what i'm saying you just have to click on the send you will get an option after that once you click on this and you will get an option click here on it and you will see the next page option options you are going to give getting the on your screen and hit on the all done hit on the alden and all done i don't have no option okay you see the activity click on the activity first where the opt is at activity activity the first option yes 450 dollars no no no no the where it says 50 click on that where it says 50 click on that all right just give me a minute hey can you please stop calling me like what the [ __ ] is this okay i'm going to transfer the funds back to you uh right now just be on the line okay uh the 462 dollar plus i'm going to transfer a fund 512 back to you okay i'm working on it okay okay uh do not hang up the call i'm transferring you 512 oh i'm not picking it up at all thank you so much the customer service for youtube tv okay that's all i was looking up to make sure and he's got we're trying to text this victim and tell them it's a scam but for some reason the scammers saying oh that's me that's me texting you don't worry about that and for some reason the victim is believing him so i just said i just sent him a text and i said hey i'm if i am the guy on the phone with you then ask me what i just texted you the word is orange so i don't i don't know if it's gonna work but i'm trying to prove to him that he doesn't know what he's texting so that it is the under recorded line no i'm talking to you bro no sir you are talking to you on the call with somebody else no i'm not i'm talking to you yeah i can see the several numbers coming up on your screen sir it's a you are going to get the numbers yes i get i got people calling me yeah yeah they are not people they are scammers no you're the scammer okay when am i when is my money gonna get into my bank never never you're you're going to get the money you're going to get the money 512 right now first you need to i'm sorry i'm not online i'm on the line with you i'm not hanging up either oh my gosh thank you so much for trusting us please click on the right hold on hold on sir what are you what i'm transferring the hello the sound is pretty terrible back arrow because these guys are in india working with now click on the back arrow one more time okay you need to click close it and go to your home page hit on the pay and transfer over there paying transfer [Music] and please check it out what options you can see over there it's it's so crazy you know you think about this and like how do people fall for this how do people really fall for these types of things you're listening to it right now you see that they do like we're listening real time um we've got a whole call center trying to save this guy from losing more and he's trusting the scammer over us that he socially engineered him to to believe him and to fear anybody else that might be saying anything different it's it's wild but you know you're seeing it real time with me it's it's crazy but look outside yeah yeah beware of the scammers look out for your anyone pressing you to send a wire to yourself okay what do i do a message you need to go that get started go out down and get started click to reference all the funds back to you into your bank account we have plenty of people here that are trying to call so i think if any more people try to call it'll they'll just clog the line so yeah we're not going to share the victim's phone number am i audible to you yes and search for it you will get in the digital code you need to get the digital code first to getting all the defense back to you xbox hit on the search you need to give a space between x and box give a space and type xbox digital code you need to type over there or digital code what your code type digital code digital code type d i hello yes uh digital culture it's a d as a doctor well if you're just joining us um you know some some stories end well some don't end so well either way this is going to end well we're going to help this guy out if we can ever get a hold of him eventually scammers got to hang up on him but what's from us sir you're getting a call from scammers they want to take your money back from your account so what we need to do is don't open up a bank account just close the bank account don't go there i'm on amazon right now i'm sorry but the person you called has a voice mailbox xbox digital code this bell code i have no idea what you're trying to say all right no no no digital code in the in the fifth option you can see over there in the fifth option you can see there first second third fourth fifth fifth option fifth row click on that okay now click on 24 now we're not gonna go down until they've cleaned no no you are going to get all the money into that card sir they've already taken you're going to get the money i don't want that money i don't want my money into this card i want in my bank account yes no your because when i was trying to transfer the funds into your bank account my system is not letting me transfer in that so for that we you need to get the the you know what's funny about that church if it was owned by google multi-billion dollar company they would have this all streamlined i feel like you are the scammer yourself we're just going to contact this bank and we're going to dispute the charge of the bank and you can deal with the bank because you're the scammer right now buddy youtube's owned by google multi-billion dollar company they wouldn't be doing this [ __ ] about go to amazon xbox no this is [ __ ] you're a [ __ ] scammer we're gonna contact his bank and dispute the charge thank you hang up no phone now no this is the part where you hang out that is not okay so what do i have to why do i have to buy an xbox car oh he's gonna be cause he is this gamer no no sir we are not scammed we are accusing him of being a scam now he wants him to go buy an xbox gift card are you to send me my money or what he's not going to send you your money did he hang up the phone so [Music] well uh did he hang up guys yes so he might have hung up if you hung up that's a good thing can you just tell me what i need to do quickly i think i'm still yeah that'd be good if he hung up yes i'm here i don't want to then then john let's try calling him again now that he's not on the phone i'm sorry but the person you call no i'm ready maybe just two minutes okay you might have hung out you don't know you don't know okay well that was an adventure wasn't it i think the scammers have hung up or he hung up on the scammers i don't know how it ended um but what we saw was a guy had a charge on his account he he maybe was overcharged 60 dollars for youtube tv where he wanted to cancel he googled the number for youtube support instead of clicking on the real youtube support he clicked on a scam link and he was connected to scammers and they said that in order for them to give the refund they had to remote into his phone he downloaded any desk they took control of his phone he went into his bank account he sent a zell transfer for 400 that wasn't good enough for the scammer so the scammers wanted to get more we've been trying to stop this guy um i don't know where he's at right now um let me let me let me try calling around we have people trying to get a hold of this victim we're gonna get him that money if if we can get a hold of him but the scammers convinced them that they were the scammers which is wild um all we want to do is just you know slow him down and he was getting our text you heard that right you you heard him saying i'm getting calls i'm getting texts i'm getting people saying watch pleasant green's youtube channel i don't know if he ever did um but we've had we just have an army of people trying to save him but i don't know where it's going from there let me try calling him one more time as soon as president green is willing to give you 400 hello yes hello this is pleasant green how are you doing i'm good how are you i'm good you were just on the phone with scammers i heard every word of it yeah i guess though did you just did you send him 400 yes i did i was trying to cancel my my youtube tv and i was so confused on why i had to send him that i was trying to get a hold of you brother i was texting you i was crying he told me not to hang up so i'm so sorry he took that money from you um i tried to stop it um it's a scam these guys are based in india and they if if they're still on your phone i want you to i want you to delete that app that they had you delete because they still don't have access to your phone maybe maybe you need to reset your phone delete that app i don't know what i don't think i downloaded any app oh yes i did i downloaded uh any desk or something yeah any desk hello i want you to um i want you to delete that app because i don't want to have access to your phone i did i just did uh i'm gonna call my bank right now okay if if you if if your bank can't sort it out i'm gonna give you my personal number i'm gonna text it to you i want you to call me back because i've got a team over here that um that we're fight we're fighting back against these scammers and um we're going to make this right so if if you can't get that money back from your bank if it's too late i want to work with you and i want to get you that money back because we have a we have an army of people here that have been trying to save you and we've raised some money for you and we're going to make this right so if you can't get awesome i appreciate it sir we're going to we're going to fix this for you so call your bank right now go ahead let's get everything sorted out make sure that they're not on your phone anymore but i want to stay in touch with you and fix this because yes yes sir what's your number i'm going to text it to you because i've got some people around me that i don't want to i don't want to say in front of them so yes sir so i'm going to text you have you been getting my text messages i have and the dude told me that it was him and not to hang up with him yeah and so i was just kind of listening to him and i was like looking at my phone like it's a scam it's a scam don't don't answer him yeah and i was seeing all that [ __ ] i was like what the hell is going on yeah yeah i'm so sorry um we tried we tried we tried so hard and it was probably scaring you to see your phone you know blowing up like that but we just we didn't want it we didn't want to get this far but it has i should have done that we're gonna fix this so um i want you to just tell everybody man tell your friends tell your family you you called the wrong number you called scammers that were pretending to be youtube they weren't youtube um but um we're gonna fix this for you so call your bank make sure that everything's you know secure um see what they say but get in touch with me and let's let's make this right because i've got a i've got i've got just an army of people that that are you know rallying behind you and me and we're gonna we're gonna make this right all right okay i appreciate you sir stay in touch you text me okay yes sir all right okay we did it we're gonna pay this guy back if he can't get the money back from his bank so okay okay good good oh we did it you know we that was the second best ending that we could have had to that story right um dang it i mean we were so close we were right there he was we were seconds away from intercepting that but he didn't trust us uh he saw me texting he saw me calling and he just thought well this this seems weird he was just so conditioned to think that um that he was talking to the real youtube and he just thought that everybody else calling him was a scammer and he fell for it and um you know we we talk about this we're like how do people fall for these types of things well you just watched it you just watched it in real time with me dang that sucks but we're gonna make this right and it couldn't be possible without you guys um laurie man you stepped up and you you um i can't thank you enough for this contribution lori this is what we're going to do to make this situation right um if if the bank can't sort it out we're going to use this money to help him if the bank can sort it out we've got a whole list of other victims that that aren't so lucky so we're going to put this money to good use so thank you for your support thank you seth and bates um thank you berghouse mechanic thank you do you see me i'm the dude talking to you right now oh i think we got him on the phone it's gonna be a little bit of a delay but you'll see me in the background i'm talking to you me out i just that's a different guy texted my personal banker to close my car awesome hey that's amazing that's actually a second guy so that's amazing we saved two people two people two people in one hour we did it let's go let's do some more let's go so this is all this is all thanks this is all thanks to jim browning we couldn't be doing what we're doing without jim browning and a lot of you guys um follow jim browning and i just i just wanted to just bring him out here and just say thanks because he's the reason that we were able to intercept those two calls and help these guys so jim i just wanted to if you if you just want to say a word i just want to say thank you and let everybody just kind of give their love and support to you because i did very little honestly i did very little um sorry hopefully you can hear me okay but i did very little in that one and i'd just like to thank really everybody who's involved in that one because it's very difficult to get through to victims and what you heard there was it's just very typical of what happens in these scams and you feel quite helpless and when you can hear it live like that it really affects you and my every time i see this i kind of think this could be my brother sister grandfather father mother grandparents it could be your own relatives and it's horrible to think that that scammer actually got some money and we're in a good position to be able to refund them one of the lucky ones but honestly if you can pass the hispanic she her english is broken um i think she hung up on this guy i think that she finally hung up on the guy in the chats loving it you can hear in the background you can hear them chatting amongst themselves but i think that this woman hung up which is awesome i want to call her back and i want to tell her that she did the right thing but i don't think she's going to answer the phone from strange numbers anymore because of what she just went through so um this is a good thing i don't know if it's thanks to us but but this lady saw enough red flags that she hung up and so um that's telling me that you did not make this purchase which means that is correct uh this is an attempt of hacking to your account someone is trying to get into your account using your perspective i guess his name is don all right don we're not going to let you fall for this we're not going to let you fall for this dom to see uh who is trying to uh i'm not giving you any i'm not giving you any more you were just talking to some amazon scammers weren't you yes i was okay well i just wanted to call you before it was too late sounds like you uh sounds like you caught on before before they got any of scams most of the robocalls that are going out are amazon some of them are youtube so if you have like a charge on your youtube account or maybe you pay for youtube tv and you want to get a refund you want to cancel your account you google hey how do i cancel my youtube account scammers are buying ads that appear at the top of the screen and if you don't look closely at that ad you're going to click on a link that will take you to a scammer's website and it'll tell you to call a scammer's phone number and you talk to these clowns these freaking clowns you can hear them talk what are they talking about uh thank you uh meaning i hope i'm saying that right from check appreciate you so much for that support um i think thanks ahmed for being a member here um we'll watch these guys for a few more minutes um we would prefer not to see any active calls right we would prefer not to see anything so we'll take it so um so this is this is uh people's call center week so this is our last day working i'm gonna wrap up my stream here in a little bit but we've had a blast streaming and listening in and helping some victims after i go i go over to scammer scammer payback live the channel subscribe to that you can kind of see real time as to what's happening in this call center check out pierogi stream he's doing good work over there i think deo streaming or he was but we're doing a lot of good work you could probably expect to see some awesome content rolling out here in a week or two some of the things we've been able to do not everything that we've done this week is showing up on these streams a lot of things that we've been doing have been offline and i can tell you there's been some really incredible uh stuff that we've been able to do we've been able to help a lot of victims we've been able to stop a lot of scams in progress and just do some really incredible things there's been a lot of scammer tears that we've drank this week so keep an eye out on everybody's channel in the next week or two trilogy media is going to be posting some content carl rock will be posting content cj scams myself deo and of course pierogi here on scammer payback we're all going to be posting some really content showing some of the stories and things that we've been able to do this week it's been an amazing week i'm sad that i'm gonna have to go home here in a couple hours but
