dining hall food is not it please help me hey guys it's cecile welcome back to my channel today we are finally finally doing a move-in vlog after being like delayed basically for three months and i finally got the chance to record it of course so there's that but i'm super excited to do this vlog just because i've been waiting for so long so i hope you guys like it as you can tell i'm usually decked out in merch here airport went with the turtleneck trend just because that's not looking cute right now but i got the sweatshirt [Music] alrighty so me and my seven bags have arrived in boston and we found out that it's actually very difficult for me and my dad to just like carry the seven bags by ourselves so we are leaving them here trying to get a rental car seeing how that's going to go because obviously we need to get to providence update we ended up getting the car shopping for my dorm i still can't believe they have paper bags here so buying some bedding hangers other random business cities over there from target so i'm really excited for it mostly because i've never been to campus like despite like committing to brown i never got the chance to visit so definitely really exciting and google maps made it look really pretty so i hope it looks the same there [Music] i'm going to go take pictures because of course my basics do that look how gorgeous this is like can we talk about how pretty this is like golden hour hit these buildings better than it has ever hit me and this is the building where i'll be using [Music] okay so i just checked in so i got my little key and everything in the bag and i'm about to go unload and move in so yeah also give me this like cute little goodie bag i don't really know what's in it but i guess i'll find out i got this it's really exciting this is the move-in gate there's all my stuff alrighty so like i said this is the building where i'm living gregorian b i have to swipe my card to get in so let's just do that then i have to swipe it again here i always like mess this up really bad first time so my dorm is actually the first one when you walk in but there's all these other dorms down there and the bathroom's all the way at the end of the hall so i'm at my dorm door on the outside because i have a suite and i've got my four imposters here because you know my suite meets and everything normally i'd put a key in to get in but for this case i'm not going to so this is our living room we've got the table here chairs little tv here we're definitely going to set up some like coffee and stuff here like we'll make it look better and the chairs sofa and the best part about living here is we have a sink so yeah and then there's two rooms down here so this is my roommate sophia i think this is me in this room but she's not in it right now and then if i keep walking we've got the storage facility that ends lanes in here and then here's my room so you walk right in there's this shelf and that's the little rack thing but you can also put it in that middle right there that this is the dresser dusk baby little two dresser so yeah i'm just gonna unpack everything here now [Music] i just finally met some friends from the group chat so this is elaine hi this is andre and jared so yeah kinda unpacked everything but it's like all over so my coat racks over there some food here personal items random stuff but it's high key a mess as you start to walk over here and like my stuff is just everywhere but my bed's made so there's that and yeah i'm definitely gonna organize this so consider this up before [Music] alrighty so this is gonna be my first sweet meat sock but a real name's sophia but we call her stop and this is her pretty room this is my second suite mate mina and she's also our first year rep because she's awesome and then this is her pretty room and this is my third suitemate elaine and she's actually in the middle of a debate tournament right now but like it's fine so a little clarification we all always wear masks like in the suite and everything but for those videos it was after we got our two negative tests and so i recorded them without the mask just so you could see them but probably shouldn't have but yeah it's my sneak peaks so i found more of my pre-med friends here's natalie got a contract to raise it because he's so tall little giant mina and sob so obviously i changed outfits here but this is our bathroom so it's pretty nice honestly here's cute there's this there's showers here and i'll share the stalls it's honestly not that bad it's pretty clean for like a college bathroom too so and here we go so i put up some hooks and everything i've got my fairy lights i got this because i got this on chien the butterflies in the sticker and everything's super cute dry race board my super messy desk please ignore that we've got the fairy lights going on again and this is my favorite part got this board with all these pictures of my friend and family and then i've got my pillow pack of course and i've also got tons of stuff here oops i just stepped on my breakfast and it's too hot to put this in here because the store is like 90 degrees yeah they gave us a microwave enough fridge which is really cool as well as this air purifier and then this is because i'm short but you can see i made use of these shelves also this hanger is like way too high like what did they expect me to do like you know but yeah that's the entire dorm also forgot to mention i've got this over the door mirror which is super cool even though low-key distorts me like i don't know if you can tell right now but this is not what i look like like it's making me wider than i actually am but anyways i'll show you guys the lights in the dark and they look so this is so pretty honestly if you sleep with a nightlight or whatever you guys do like just do fairy lights instead oh shoot okay that one just ripped i will fix that yeah um this definitely helps brighten up the room super cute yeah so that's pretty much the conclusion of this entire movement tour it was honestly like if i'm being honest it was really scattered over like three days and i just tried to combine it into one video but yeah it's gonna be an interesting semester i'm just really happy to finally be here after being basically cooped up for what other people experienced as their first semester even if it was online while i was basically like not enrolled and all that kind of stuff so yeah it's definitely sad like i feel like i've cried a lot the past few days like it's really sad at the same time it's really exciting and i'm honestly just honored to be here super excited for what the future is going to bring i've met so many great people already so that's definitely really
