CODE ENFORCEMENT called me to HELP this young WIDOW recover her YARD!

hi is this Justin hey yes this is Justin thank you so much for calling back how you doing I'm doing well so yeah so I got a call from Chris from the city said you needed some help with your yard yes my husband passed away and um just things I've gotten like really out of here in there oh I'm sorry to hear that we're gonna work on the yard it'll probably take us a few days to get things taken care of I don't know if he told you but we do yards like this all the time for our YouTube channel yes he sent me a video so you guys are okay yeah we're we're the blessing boys yeah [Music] if you can right bye-bye it was full of life I don't know if you knew him I didn't no he was larger than life in a lot of ways I'm glad to see that she's getting it done yeah with all this stuff up against the house should be taken off yep I don't know if you rip it off if you're going to make it leak I'll um get it the best I can as high as I can with the ladder I got but the good thing is as long as you clip it on the bottom and stuff all that stuff will begin to die yeah rather than keep growing yeah back there is a bunch of poison ivy I know that okay and uh drain that goes to the street is back there all right hey this is Justin from the blessing boys and I recently got a call from a local code enforcement officer to ask if I could help this nice lady out with her yard and he warned me that this might be one of the most overgrown yards we've seen and he was right after speaking with her on the phone I found out that her husband had passed away and she was left with this massive task and he was actually a hoarder which meant the yard was full of debris so this job took us multiple days and I was running solo on the first day so you'll see the boys show up with me on day two and day three the homeowner is actually currently out of town for work but we managed to get all the before and after photos sent to her so she could see the final look she was so excited and thankful so be like that but if you come up here you can see that we're near this pole and so there's lots of wires that are Tangled in these bushes and so I don't want to just take the hedge trimmers and accidentally start clipping wires that I don't know what they are so I'm taking a little bit more of my time to pay attention to detail so we don't run into any safety issues okay I haven't seen it like that in a long time yeah there's a there's a fence under there I mean I'm gonna just take it one section at a time and and clear out this whole fence in the front and then like I said I'll keep the bushes up on the side for privacy but appreciate it yeah absolutely [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] foreign I like to explain the strategy of what I'm doing so if you look behind me I'm primarily working on the outside of this fence first I'm going to go away around and then we're going to go work our way on the inside of the fence the issue is that most of these are Vines and they cross over from the inside to the outside of the fence so be kind of useless for me to just start hacking away at this with a hedge trimmer and because of all the vines and stuff like that it would just be a huge mess it's easier if I go in and I clip these things at the roots so what I'm doing is clipping all of the binds and trees at the roots on the outside of the fence and then along the fence I'm actually clipping them away so that it'll separate it from what's on the inside and then we'll work our way in so just so you guys know the strategy I'm taking and that's what we're doing ha there and um we are gonna obviously we cleaned out all these bushes in the front but he asked if we could save some of them on the side for privacy so the fence that wraps around the side we're going to tidy up those bushes bushes as opposed to removing them all like we did in the front so we'll even this out with the fence and work our way around the side of the exterior the perimeter of the completely because it's just going to grow right back so that's why you're going to see us trimming it down to a manageable level the goal of this yard is to get all the stuff that was growing out towards the road obviously this was a city violation so it was becoming a you know Hazard growing out into the road into the neighbor's yard stuff like that so we want to get some of these big sticks and logs cleared out the yard back to a manageable level so we're going to trim back the IV down get all this tall stuff trimmed down get the fence line cleared out so that it can be back to again a
