really similar so let's just get to it [Music] all right so clears we're going to start off with this is not leroy or ruby so you got some explaining to do we wanted to bring them here but i got the closest thing to leroy possible and it has body panels this is a c5 same year as leroy it's got two precision turbos out the hood you can see them from the driver's seat 850 horsepower i blew up both of my cars at holley ls fest west and luckily my buddy shawn here was like dude i'll lend you the car that's a good okay so sean i'm gonna ask you a question real quick you watched him blow up two cars and you thought i'm gonna let him borrow mine yeah so uh i knew i could ask him because he's jumped this thing off of a dune hopefully he does as good as possible if you guys aren't familiar with this man hit us with some of your accolades in your corvette leroy but it is the fastest stick shift corvette on the planet leroy is [Applause] [Music] it's been a 767 at 186 or something with that t-56 and where's ruby at now uh ruby's been like 750s at 184 or something like that [Music] so we had two seven second corvettes and uh broken both before we shave this has the essence of leroy it literally couldn't be closer besides the body panels we were talking about taking the body panels let's pull this hood off i want to see what's under here all right it's actually proven that hoods do make cars slower you want to take them off weight reduction we got eight cylinders two turb skis oh so i have half the cylinders you got half the cylinders half the turbocheese wait wait wait wait this is a stock motor yep stock bottom man just a huge amount of power here so it's an iron block okay what boost what fuel mix of 92 and 116. about 20 pounds of boost and she just eats it right up also to work in our advantage he's going to ride with travis for extra weight travis i wouldn't negotiate yourself here you're not like a a very ha i expected you to pick like hey scotto goes do you want some real balance what does this weigh 3 200 probably so that's pretty close then what trans is in this car t-56 i still need clutch everything no no dog engagement none of that brother just look at the fuel rail pumping 850 out of that thing it's pretty much stock from here back i think it's gonna be a little bit of a traction battle but we're hoping the bald eagles will kind of get behind the thing and carry it to a w while you're shifting gears you go ah everything about cletus and the freedom factory it just screams america i got to check the boost all right who's you go check it you your seat when i think we should be going over 200 feet i think we cut that distance in about half on this jump so um you know i got four cylinders uh [Music] [Music] a lot of buttons in here travis it's like a space shuttle launch sequence they're like we're gonna raise our hands we'll drop it in like you know two to three seconds i'm like dude it takes me at least 10 seconds to hit all the buttons i'm supposed to hit what's the scuba tank in your door just in case he went under yeah i mean it was super nice he was like oh he's definitely gonna put it in so let's give him a scuba tank that way he could still breathe for a little bit so i know you're big on bald eagles travis has both bald eagles and crabs do you think that's going to be a problem for you this is more all right look you have like a literally a crab riding into battle riding a ball of eagle that is dropping an h-bomb that's got to be worth at least 100 horsepower at least so first race heads up 2 000 feet you guys both good with that you drive straight you take the jump i'm still driving straight if i'm not driving i don't have to jump not on the first run not in the first round do i have a passenger we'll do heads up first one then we can add ballast on the second one if you feel like it's needed plus for at least 35 feet of it you're driving uphill it's called a ramp you're building in some excuses all right sorry yeah totally right i haven't seen this vet ron i know what leroy's capable of and if leroy was here he'd probably be the bet there but i'm gonna go with travis on this one oh man that's a tough one cletus is a drag racer so we don't even know if this thing's really a stock motor he could be bullshitting us so i'll pull my money on the corvette all-wheel drive almost the same horsepower very much lighter super super duper professional driver sequential transmission carbon fiber everything are you even saying things anymore travis pastrana is going to win this race strictly based on garrett's seating position alone look at look at his head look at his head in there he can't even see no way travis has got this all day yo if i had to pick i got to respect my jdm roots going sti all day s209 carbon fiber roof travis pastrana subaru technica international vermont sports car game over my prediction it's a traction battle out here so i'm going with all-wheel drive no matter what i'm jump okay since traction is a real issue for cletus what we're going to do is travis is starting from a dig cletus is going to go from a 25 roll the second that cletus passes by travis the hand is gonna go down and they're gonna go at the same time what was the result cleanest one by just the carling oh so it was all down to reaction he almost caught me i know he was close that thing's so fast bro honestly he had a bad launch let's see what travis wants yeah all right let's figure it out i want to redo on that one the reason being we were on the throttle so long the clutch actually started slipping so i was all the way in and it started creeping forward so we took off and we had a little bog and a little bit of spin i think with that exact same thing i just i can't see behind you so if i get my mirrors to actually work and i could just time that i think if you come by i could it's going to be i know it's going to be really close let's run it again all right i know this bald eagles
