Classroom Tour 2017-2018

[Music] miss may here one five teacher it has been a minute since I have recorded in this classroom it's just so difficult guys because I teach in an open concept school I did a video about that link up here and in the description box but it makes it difficult to record because you hear so many outside noises coming in you know other teachers talking students it's just a lot and it's very hard to record and it makes it difficult so I haven't been able to record because I haven't been getting here early or staying late I've been coming when I'm supposed to and leaving at the end of the day just how I feel but anyway I'm gonna give you guys this classroom tour and what I plan to do is just do a voiceover for you guys so that you don't hear the background noise so I hope you enjoy I hope your and this is what it looks like to the left over here is another classroom where it's dark right here and that's another classroom up here this is just some motivation that I received from some firsties in the years past and then here we have an elf on the shelf and then there's some nice motivation keep me motivated over here you'll notice this is where my kiddos turning their finished work so when they're finished with something their finished items go in here I've used that for a while now and I love that system this is the feed me box tops cherish camp I had one of my kiddos their aunt made this for me and I just thought this was so cute but they put their box tops in here or their papers that have the box tops glued to them they place those there I love it this is my word work and my kindness storage this is mr. bubbles the kiddos love here are my pointers for when the kids read around the room my crisis bag this is our language that we use at our school paws we use this every single day and of course cute little melon head these are directed drawings rhythm of the December Rudolph I just love directed drawings super duper cute I found that on Pinterest these are mailboxes every kiddo has one including myself and this is for me for if kiddos have notes from home or drawings they create for me they put in my mailbox these are my colors color posters freebie in my store scoop seats Christmas tree for the holidays makes it nice and cozy in our classroom up here it says miss Mays fab firsties along with the alphabet and then this is from the front you'll see it has daily 5 it has our t POS our number talked goodies over here is our schedule I said what we do all day earn a here this is my storage for sharp pencils broken pencils love this system did a video about that this is our writing storage for writing paper free draw paper all that good stuff this is our math shelf this is where all our math manipulatives and our math games go nice and organized and meet and then next to that you'll see our Chromebooks a little bit of our technology one of our poems about the wrinkled heart bucket filler buckets that the kiddos have again our poem that everyone signed try ash and then this is our calendar I created these calendar cards they're in my store as well you know Miss May has to have melon heads this is our I'm finished now what bored kiddos just check this board when they're finished with work instead asking me 1,100 times what do I do now I love that system this is our bucket filler just a nice reminder for us this is our first year the week board every week we have a new first e and we give the spotlight to them and then guys this is that wood paper but your paper that's been really popular I absolutely love it and will will use it again I'll do it again next year up here at the top more melonhead's and then this is our theme for the school year throw kindness like confetti that will be in my store guys in the next couple of days here our birthday bags I like to recognize every kiddos birthday and as you can see this is the birthday back cover and then they have their own little birthday stick that they get to take home at the end of the year that says their birthday that's in my store as well and it's edible this is our Rolly cart for a whole group my director's chair anchor chart paper this is where I do my whole group lessons another table that's we have yoga balls here then we move over here you're gonna notice there's more buckets for filling buckets for my kiddos bucket filler slips located there hand sanitizer and then storage for crayons and markers I love that system our bathroom passes Kleenex box I won that on Instagram a few years ago this is our library and then this is my teacher toolbox I purchased that from Ace Hardware and those labels are in my store as well a parent created this for me last year prayer changes everything and it really truly does I'm just some little knickknacks and then here we have my library this you know that's how I label my books book bin and then the number and those books go in that specific number love how I do that system now this is the caring table and these are my kiddos in their name plates with their name holders love the name holders morning work I usually don't do morning work all the time but this morning I did and then we move over here you'll notice this my reading side this is my math side this is the back of my classroom and then we have camping chairs here small group table guys I'm so disappointed in these oh no boy no last year I bought him off Amazon and they were great and they were amazing this year I bought them on eBay and I can't remember where but oh not good my pile of mess you see there need to organize and then over here these are just my lessons things that I need for lessons Monday through Friday nice neat organized my kiddos portfolios and then over here I just keep a little reminder of my favorite little humans my niece and two nephews keep me motivated give God all the glory nice reminders and then over here we have my math rotation board this was created by Amy grows back the animated teacher love that a few of my anchor charts and then this little table here is basically my little desk area from my lap my work laptop I don't have a desk anymore which I'm glad I don't and this works just fine for me so then over here we have our rules whole-brain teaching and basically their whole burn teaching except for this last one it says let's keep each other happy instead I keep your dear teacher happy we need to keep you keep each other happy another part of my library more books nice and labeled and organized at the top here it says a happy place I consider my class from a very happy place this is my word wall and this is located in my TPT store as well but this is my word wall we just have fab and fancy words it's edible so you can type in whatever word you need simple to the point I just like it looking nice and clean look looking and IKEA rakhi IKEA rug and this is another table that holds yoga balls this just has regular chairs this table has the picnic benches this table has a bench and on the other side is storage for more books that I absolutely love and the kiddos love this bench too and then on the other and this right here is a Christmas activity twelve days of kindness freebie on TPT I can't think of the name of the seller but it's awesome IKEA stools are at this table the kiddos love sitting high and then this is an Ikea pencil and so this is my room as a whole from one side of the classroom and then back there is just another classroom this is my small group Terry area and then just another stool or IKEA rolling carts or actually target rolling card I'm sorry and then this is my room from this angle just kind of let you look at it slowly you know it's not huge but it's cozy and it's happy and that's what counts for me I named every table something kind so this is the nice table this over here is the love table this one over here is the hugs table and this table over here is the kind table I just like me I just chose the name on that way and there's the front the side again guys that was my classroom tour for this 2017-2018 school year next year should be a lot different because we have to take everything home this summer because our school is being remodeled so that's going to be exciting but um like I said pretty much the same a little bit of changing like seating and and colors but overall it's still the same
