my family moved us here in 1968 i started stephen c foster in the first grade and while i was at steven c foster we had to own some of the owens which is big ronnie bojango's brothers and sisters uh book and craig they were all there with us uh ronnie corbett rodney colbert roland colbert you know michael derose family mike pierre duba uh heron hello was the [ __ ] take me back to uh elementary with with uh aaron palmer a.k.a man aka heroine man my bro man oh man from elementary school it's strange now because i have a little nephew now right and heroin has the grandson and my nephew and harold's grandson are the best of friends so when heroin brother jp like see those two and my nephew and and jalen together he'll clown me and say look look they go he'll run to cj all over again so yeah so we have a lot of history with her and then we went into whaley and herron he's always [ __ ] with me and we [ __ ] with each other and i remember one day we was at whaley and uh he was [ __ ] with me and i was like man [ __ ] wouldn't fun with me you kept [ __ ] with me so i thought punch and i hit him and i hit him in the stomach and it knocked the wind out of him right but we had to get into class but we were in two separate classes i was in wood shop and herron was in another class the class bell rugged for that class to end and i went to walk out of the classroom to go on out to the to the schoolyard or whatever heroin slides up and fires on me oh he hit me in the nose and bust my [ __ ] right so we tusslin and the school teachers get us and they get us take us to the principal office you know what i said we're the principal office we try to figure out what the hell we gonna do how we what we gonna do to get out of this right because back then they want to swatch you they want to give you punishment well i swung you right uh i forget that pres that principal's name at whaley he's happy christian christian mr christie he had the holes in the paddle wrong seriously yeah yeah yeah so uh somebody and heroin said we have this and we're like under the patio area of the principal's office that had a back door to it he had to do something else momentarily so me and herron was on the back we discussed it so we jumped the wall right and we left school together and was back cool again and we cool no the same moment we jump the gate we leave where we go we don't say we coming to the hood we go to his house you know his sister sees us see what do you guys know get out of here you can't be here y'all supposed to be in school so me and aaron we just walking around the neighborhood until school is out too it's safe now school is out we can go home yeah did he have that nickname way back at whaley herron or yeah he's always been here he's always been he didn't go to dominguez with you did he i'm not sure because heroin has started going to jail too and he could have been in camp at that time or why maybe or something at that time i know it was a period of time where we wasn't around each other due to circumstances probably incarceration or something like that and then i started going to prison in like 1981 80. my first time to prison was 1980 and i stayed in prison from that time on and off all the way up until 2015 when i was released off a life sentence yeah and you had a little gap there from like 97 to 99. i had a little gap there yeah i had a little as a matter of fact me and gangster nate had uh me and gangster nate had caught her case uh 88 88 which landed his 15 years in prison yeah and we had to do like eight years straight off of that yes so i had came on first and then he had came home and then you know we were still out here in the streets you know what i'm saying living the culture of the eastside power life you know what i'm saying and steady being involved in criminal activity so on and so forth and there was a violation after that for me there was a violation after that for him and then uh 99 is when i suffered the life sentence so yeah so uh whaley when i was there i mean uh uh fool i mean commodore's brother duke duke rest in peace dude i remember a duke we were walking duke was at by the park at the store at the liquor store back then at this time it was the 70s late 70s and we was walking we were going to a party over there was lane hood and we had asked duke was he coming and he was he said yeah but we went on our way and then later on that night as duke was coming that way to come over until i was like to the party he was killed so duke was that whaley when i first got to whaley as a matter of fact i remember duke when i first got the whaley because you met my brother who was g wall he's from lotus right yeah so when i get to whaley duke is standing by the snack bar right he ganks it up right and i'm young for like probably seventh grade or something hey regret so i'm going i got probably for 75 cent or something to get a doughnut so duke said he'll buy me a doughnut blood like he pressing me and i'm like man you know donut right and i was like dude he was short right i'm like damn this dude like you know what i'm saying like ready to like get on me about this i'm assuming you was already tall i was already tough but i was always slipping but this is a g homie you know what i'm saying so i had some concerns too yeah you know like damn you know how far is this going to go you know what i'm saying but my brother was there at the school too at the same time so i really wasn't that concerned about it you know what i'm saying but knowing the reputation of him you know uh stanley pitts was there rest in peace bro man it was ghosts oh so it was so many of us man and we was all you know what i'm saying bonded with one another you know what i'm saying we was all just like with one another and respecting and having love and you know an appreciation for each other you know what i'm saying and and this is how it grew into what it grew into on the east side it was the inside it was a strong hole oh yeah that was a stronghold we held the whole east side down not just mob and looters everybody holly we all held it down together you know what i'm saying it really was we didn't have no major problems without the crips coming over here so dominguez 10th grade 10th grade oh man oh [ __ ] who was riding in with us uh going up there myself uh bruiser room [Music] [Music] and them coming up there we gang banging we're not going to school we're just up at the school hanging out we're not going to class we ain't doing [ __ ] we just hanging in the hallways hanging on the fields yep you know me mugging you know gangster posing but there's definitely more crips up there than that oh wow you had the south side crips you had the atlantic drive crips you know kim tate i think he's the first uh santana to get killed and he was trying to get you yeah he's deadpool right here definitely he was trying to get you i remember the night i don't know if he was at the party oven uh uh i guess it was on pearl that shooky denise shook's house g she go when they was trying to get little george was in there i was he was there and tom bomb was there and yeah mm-hmm and the santana's came in party was in house we couldn't get out the house exactly i was there they had surrounded the house yep and they kind of was like saying where's little george they only wanted little george yep kim filed off some shots and she shot the homie little t hat off his head uh russell thompson brothers yeah yeah we was in the garage like covering like because his gunshots go and but little george is in the garage with us i'm younger george is a bigger homie elliot ness was there that night as well and little george jumps up and throws up the garage door right throws it up now they're out there saying they want him he throws up the garage door and grabs a bottle of antifreeze and runs out and throws the bottle and the freeze and i'm like dude it's like they're trying to kill us they're trying to like point you but this is what i'm saying no fear little george no it's yours no fear but uh bullet was outside with a gun yeah he was about to shoot him busting on you they was busting on us they were out there busting us we was trapped we couldn't get out the house what street was this on was it we're comfortable move around yeah yeah so that was kind of borderline or no that basically was kind of like we was close to santana yeah yeah yeah it was like literally like around the corner from the neighborhood so it was like when we was over there at the party it was already like concerns about uh this possibly happened happening what happened yeah but we was able to get up out of it thanks for watching streettv.net if you're not subscribed please hit that
