[Music] hi everyone my name is richard jang technical marketing engineer in the enterprise networking business unit today we're going to look at how we can leverage visual insights as part of cisco dna center 232's wireless 3d map to discover areas of your wireless coverage and your floor that don't comply with your configured sla rather than have network administrators constantly monitor the map by clicking on the cog icon they can now configure how they want their network coverage to be and have wireless 3d maps notify them when their configured sla is not met for example in global configurations we can set the threshold for noise floor in sla compliance we can set the threshold for rssi snr height and coverage percentage in voice coverage we can configure the same but specifically for voice qos traffic before viewing the insights one more configuration we can add is coverage by clicking on 2d add edit then coverage area this allows you to specify in your floor map where you care for there to be rf coverage and will affect the visual simulation of the heat map type point cloud as well as visual insights to only account for the coverage area specified for this demo i've already applied it to the areas of the floor map that i care about navigating back to 3d then by clicking on insights you'll get the list of scenarios in which wireless 3d maps has detected the sla to comply or not for the first one it reads 5 gigahertz congratulations your floor coverage is complying with your sla target and this is great this is exactly what we would want to see but continuing on and clicking next we'll see 2.4 gigahertz sla target is not met channel interference is predicted in 27 of your floor coverage if you click here the 3d maps heatmap metric and type will be adjusted to depict where in the floor map the slight target for interference is not met clicking next we have another insight which reads 2.4 gigahertz your target for real-time voice is not met channel interference is predicted in 92 percent of your floor coverage clicking here will again adjust the map to show where the coverage is not met and using this network administrators can determine which issues take precedence and use the knowledge from the previous episodes to enhance the wireless coverage by changing around the ap's positioning tx power antenna angle and so on oftentimes there can be a lot going on in your map so if you wanted to focus on a specific area there are two tools you can utilize the first is the box cutter it'll allow you to drag and drop the white circles at the bottom left which will directly change the rectangle's perimeter and height and only retain color on the actual map for the areas within the perimeter allowing you to focus on the areas you're currently troubleshooting the second is the donut cutter which is similar in functionality but allows network administrators to visually filter the map into segments of a circle instead with that said this covers how you can leverage visual insights in cisco dna center 232's wireless 3d maps to discover areas that don't comply with your configured wireless sla to learn how to set up wireless 3d maps in your cisco dna center please refer to the episode linked in the description below if you've enjoyed this video series please smash like button subscribe click the notification bell and as always thank you for watching
