It’s amazing how wrong they were about the seriousness of the situation. I mean surely they had nuclear physicists who looked at actually numbers what an explosion like that would have caused, I mean right?
I have been watching Chernobyl on HBO and it is amazing so far. The negligence and self-pride that led to the meltdown was insane. And to see first hand (although maybe its Hollywooded up a little) the affects of radiation (even just being around people who have been irradiated) is astonishing.
