set with me I have my wife Richard I mean honey good morning hello everyone welcome again to this Christ and Tad activity that's right and you know we are excited that every day were able to bring the word of His grace your way that were build you up and give you your inheritance among the sanctified we're going to share what a prayer before we're getting the word for today money just performed father thank you for another moment another sharing of fellowship with one another across the world it's so wonderful that we are in this unity of faith sharing this fellowship this morning know that everyone's had to be tuned in to receive exactly as you deliver to in the mighty name of Jesus amen amen praise God now we've been dealing with scene and the confession of see you know because this is the fundamental subject of the scriptures Matthew 1:21 she shall bring forth a son and thou shalt call his name Jesus he shall save his people from their sin you know like I always say to people now one of the greatest you know fundamental problems of humanity is not money it's not a wife it's not a job is not even a you know a visa or admission the fundamental problem of humanity is seen all have been caught in the web of the same and that is why Jesus died to care what man does not have the wherewithal to kill which is seen the only cure to see is the death burial resurrection of Jesus Christ and that's why we're taking time to explore this subject even as the year has just started so you can have a fundamental start to enjoy the goodness of God all through the year it's so important many believers have been held bound by the enemy all their life because of this stronghold of seeing fear of seem you know misconceptions about seen ignorance about seeing everything that that surrounds seen because of wrong teachings and wrong mindset communicated over the years in the body of Christ in the rivers you know believers have been taught that they are sinners saved by grace and I always tell us see now all your seat because if you're saved you are not a sinner if you see now you're not saved you're either saved or you're a sinner so you can be a sinner saved by grace you see so that's what we are taking time and it's been you know a detailed time of looking at all the different scriptures doctrinally in the light of Christ we're seeing is concerned you know - yet these good news of what Christ has done with somebody when I finish a very respected minister of the gospel when I finished sharing he said this thing sounds so nice but I pray that you are right it was telling me I pray that you are right you know and in the presence of what a man of God he was even ashamed mm-hmm he was even ashamed with all on a man of God after I finished sharing four hours he now looked at me said this sounds so nice but I pray you are right that is he prays I can write about what Christ has done and this is a preacher of the gospel yeah with a lot of pastors under him pastor in branches now yet he is not very clear I'm not sure yeah it's all clear on this one so this is very very fundamental and as I believe if you don't understand this your relationship with God would be in a total mess and you not enjoy the victory that Christ provided for you when he died was buried and rose for your justification so hard we're going to look at this very critically today yesterday we concluded on a number of facts we agreed that confession of sin who have looked at three different segments of confession of sin because this has been the main issue in Christianity there you know few days ago we talked about what Denny's confession of sin part 1 we saw in the Old Testament confession of scene was based on bringing an animal and the high priests who put his hand on the animals unconfessed then we saw that confession of sin the second day of this teaching on this particular confession of sin we saw that John stitching on the confession of sin he took time to deal with through classes of people people that had already received eternal life that had fellowship with the father with the Sunnah with the Brethren people that were already in Christ and then as a group of people he called if we say if we walk if we confess and we say that category of people we are still in darkness they were still in sin and they are no fellowship with the father the son and fellow believers and then yesterday we began to look at this confession of sin what is it and we looked at first John and we began to agree that confession in the scriptures confession in the scriptures has to do with confessing Jesus Jesus is our symbol so when he says if you confess your sin what he simply says if you confess Christ our confession is Christ and it's finished walk now so today were looking at what them is confession of sins part 4 it is a vital importance to understand the basis for with John route to his audience in first John chapter 1 by so doing we can identify the emphasis John meanwhiles making reference to the word confess in his father letters and as much as the word confession was used to speak of Jesus we can with that information reconstruct first John chapter 1 verse 9 in accordance with the insight of the epistles note however that the reconstruction will be done upon an awareness that the original manuscripts we are not reaching with understood by placing the comma immediately after the word confess rather than after the word seems as reflected in the King James Version of the books of the Bible so it is supposed to read if we confess our sins he is faithful our sins there will be he our sins he our sins is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness so our sins is the passive his name is Jesus behold the lamb of God that taketh away the scene in John 1:29 first Corinthians 5:21 God made him to be sin for us who knew no sin so our sin is a passive Jesus so if we confess our sins he is to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness so a man is to confess what the blood of Jesus has done how that it has cleansed a man from his sins honey read phosphors John 1:7 but if we walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all scene so there we are to confess what the blood of Jesus has done and what he has done to our sins because of the blood of Jesus the blood of Jesus cleanses see so in the next chapter John again points to the fact that we are to confess Jesus as a propitiation for our sins first John 2:2 and he is the propitiation for our sins and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world so I am do with these facts of the truth of God's Word it is clear that John is in teaching acts in God for forgiveness but teaching faith faith for example your heart and mouth and with what Jesus has done which is his faithfulness to forgive and cleanse from all unrighteousness that is what Jesus has done what do you know that our forgiveness is Jesus his faithfulness because if Jesus didn't die you know in the Garden of Gethsemane in the garden of customer jesus said father I don't want this cop I don't want it in the garden of guest and I'm obviously he wept until his tears was as great drops of blood friends many of you do not understand implication the importantly of what it to Jesus to pay for our sins only you know when God wanted to help man God looked at the universe there was nothing on planet earth that had the capacity to pay for anyone's qualified not money himself not a diamond not the gold you know what is that other one that is very expensive lot you know not even platinum none of those precious stones had the capability to pay for man see so all are the natural resources of the egg that people call rich who couldn't pay for a man sins but man was broke none also couldn't pay for himself man didn't have the wherewithal to pay for his sins man couldn't do anything that would that would meet the standard of perfection so but God loves man oh yes and because God loves man when God looked at the universe and the universe didn't have the resources to pay for man see God Almighty became a man that means honey that the only thing that could pay for man seemed the only thing that had the value the right value to pay for mercy was God that is the worth of him are considered as the same quality yeah because you know if we're family yeah you can have a monkey as your child you can't so it has to be a species mm-hmm and so you have to pay with his life and into the life he produced we introduced ourselves himself you know in our fears so every one of us now that is born again is the image of every human being is the image of God are those that are born by God and you cannot be born outside Christ you're only born in you're born in Christ because Christ is God who became a man so you're only born in Christ that is the worth how precious how expensive a banach in money that it cost God his life it cost God himself to give birth to Trayvon again that's our precious you know just thinking about that is there and man was our reconciliation in fact Romans chapter 5 verse 5 1 if you can read that Romans chapter 5 verse 5 and hope maketh not ashamed because the love of God is she'd abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us next verse for when we were yet without strength in due time Christ died for the ungodly he died for the criminal without strength next verse both Catholic for a righteous man we won't die yes yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die yes but God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us yes much more then being now justified by his blood we shall be saved from wrath through him thanks bus for if when we were enemies yes compared to God by the death of his American side how by the sea pressure was book of Ephesians chapter 5 verses 25 to 26 similar cleanse seven clans nine cleansed similar to what brother Paul will use in Ephesians 5:25 to 26 okay husbands love your wives even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it yes now he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing what sir see that what clean by the washing of water by the word by the world so Paul here was referring to the church his body and the cleansing was only done by the sacrifice of Jesus he gave himself it is a giving of himself that cleanse you understand the giving of himself has cleansed us this invariably means that a man is cleansed from all sins at the new birth and not in the future in all this for anyone who does not agree with the above facts laid out by John another postures John addresses such persons in first John chapter 1 verse 6 to 8 anyone that does not accept what Christ has done this is what John has to say about that person this same John this is what he has to see trust John 1 6 to 8 okay if we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness we lie and do not the truth but if we walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all thing thus if we say that we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not enough so John says that these people that will argue with what we have just done yeah number one they are still intact number two they were sorry lessons we are still in scene number three such pressings have no fellowship with the father the son and so we can therefore attest to the fact that the gospel of Jesus will not be confess your sins to the saved people don't confess Jesus saved people confesses walk his finished walk this sacrificial yeah it brings you into the family of God God has subdued the issue of sin and never again will see instant between God and the believing in Christ therefore once again we see that forgiveness is ours forever only as a function of what Christ did that's why I always say this and this is a very bold statement but that's exactly what was said that scene it does not have the power to take any man to hell I repeat you heard me that scene does not have the power to take any man to hell why Jesus the Lomborg order took away season and he broke the power of Sling so question what takes a man to hell you will find out tomorrow what takes a man to hell you will find the answer tomorrow as we spend more time in studying and learning about what Christ has done for the born-again they want to save is it necessary for a believer to go for deliverance is it necessary for a believer to go for deliverance well first of all in order for me to answer that question the first thing would have to deal believer before we talk about deliverance who is a believer Romans chapter 10 verse number 10 for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation for the scripture saith whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed alright and Allah says in verse 14 how then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed so they believed enough to be believing in a him oppressing and I shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard and how shall they hear without a preacher so for somebody to believe him asiya of him that him is Christ the message of Christ you've got to hear the message of Christ Ronna Paul says in Romans 1:16 I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ the gospel of Christ it is the power of God unto salvation so what a man must hear is the gospel of Christ not how many demons on your family not breaking of causes not ancestral course is not generational causes what a man was here is the message of Christ that message doesn't have power that message is the power that saves a man a man was here the details or the facts of the gospel what is the gospel again 1st Corinthians chapter 15 verse 1 moreover brethren I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you which also you have received and wherein you stand by which also you are saved this is the gospel that saves a man so what are the facts of this gospel for I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures are the first line of the governor's what a man was the message of his death burial and resurrection look at John chapter 3 verse 6 in the famous scripture for salvation for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him faith in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life so when you believe in Jesus you receive eternal life or everlasting life God's own life for God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved he that believeth on him is not condemned but he that believeth not is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God so the moment you believe in Christ you are no more condemn you are saved the moment you believe in Christ you receive eternal life you receive God's life that eternal life is God himself first John chapter 5 verse 20 that eternal life you received the moment you believe in Jesus He is God himself he says and we know that the Son of God is come and had given us an understanding that we may know him that is true and we are in him that is true even in his son Jesus Christ who is Jesus Christ this is the true God who is a true God and eternal life so the day you receive eternal life through the gospel you received God on your inside God came on your inside and give you a brand new life a believer does not have an updated life a believer does not have an improved life a believer does not have any more dead life what a believer has is a brand new life is a new species a new breed is a new creation is a new kind of humanity that never existed before the born-again man is a union between God and man is an amalgamation of deity with humanity so a man that is born again is called a believer he is a believer in Jesus the faith of God has companies inside and taking up residence Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ nevertheless I live yet not i but Christ who lives in me the life that I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God so the believer is one was received Christ who has received life is one whom Jesus leaves inside he is one who houses God so the question is does he believe I need to go for the inference a make in the truth CEDA the age of a lie doesn't make it a truth so the scriptures are giving to us for doctrine the scriptures and a reason for adopting all persuasion he says deliverance is a movement from darkness to light it is got movement that made you born again when you believe the gospel the moment you believe the gospel you were delivered the moment you had the message so deliverance is not a prayer is a preaching deliverance is not a prayer is a preacher oh I met one of those so called deliverance expert and he got angry because I would say deliverance not a prayer as a preacher he got angry and I could identify where he's coming from he's been deluded and deceived and bound by a mindset that contradicts the doctrine of Scripture I remember the first time I did a write-up on the fact that a believer does money delivers all hell broke loose it was some funders of faith could not hold themselves they ran into my facebook page and we're displaying their ignorance in public and sometimes you see as a believer or as a minister you can hold on to something and it becomes a dogma in in in ignorance you're not away you don't know that's why you search the Scriptures for in them you have eternal you think you have eternal life but there they would testify of me so deliverance is the movement from one kingdom to another secondly the Book of Luke chapter 4 verse number 17 the prophecy concerning Jesus he says and they was delivered unto him the book of the Prophet Esaias and when he had opened the book he found the place where it was written the Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted to preach deliverance to the captives not to pray deliverance to preach deliverance to the captives so deliverance is preached deliverance is a message that somebody will hear and believe the moment to believe the message a movement takes place from darkness to light it is called born again so deliverance is a movement from one kingdom to another the moment you hear the message of Christ the message of Christ his death burial and resurrection here in that message moves you faith in that message brings you back to life where you are taken out of darkness into light that is what the Bible calls deliverance now I know the confusion for many ministers of the gospel is that they are not able to differentiate between the live runs and cutting out devils these are two different terms deliverance is preached upon hearing the message a man is saved Karson are demons is different it's to expel unclean spirits out of people and out of situations so it brings the next question can a Christian be possessed yes a Christian can be possessed with the Holy Spirit but it cannot be possessed with demons the day you got born again the Holy Spirit of God took over your you became the temple of the Holy Spirit light and darkness cannot stay inside a born-again believer so an evil spirit and the Holy Spirit cannot live inside a born-again believer I wrote a book which I recommend later on and I want to read a few things here John chapter 14 verse 16 to 17 Jesus said and I will pray the father and he shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you forever even the Spirit of Truth whom the world cannot receive because it's yet him not Mariner with him but you know him for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you and that day you shall know that I'm in my father and ye in me and I in you the evil spirits constrained our environment in John 14:26 but the comforter which is the Holy Ghost whom the father will send in my name he shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have said unto you first Corinthians 3:16 know ye not that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you not evil spirit 1st Corinthians 6:19 what know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you which you have of God and you are not your own 2nd Corinthians 1:22 who had also sealed us and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts we are sealed and we are the NS of the Spirit in our hearts Ephesians 1:13 in whom you also trusted after that you had the word of truth the gospel of your salvation in whom also after that you believed you were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promised so the believer can never be possessed with a demon never it can never happen because the believer and God are in an inseparable union see that only on believers a poor just with devils and evil spirits so somebody says all right can demons attack a believer yes demons can attack you from outside a believer can be depressed from outside a believer can be oppressed with sickness but all those are external they are not internal and that is why a believer must be so full of the Word of God that when the pressure comes from outside this enough strength on the inside to push off the pressure strengthened with might in the inner man you get so filled with the word oppression comes when you are ignorant of the word depression comes when you do not have revelation knowledge otherwise when you function in Revelation knowledge the gates of Hell cannot prevail against you so the believer doesn't need deliverance what they believe I need is knowledge you need to come to a place where you are built up in the knowledge of what you have already received however the devil can deceive a believer that is ignorant and when you are deceived you are seduced and when a believer is seduced he acts like a man possessed even though he's not possessed it's actually called in the Greek but Allah gives oh my it means acting beside yourself James calls it deceiving your own selves are just acting you're acting a script that is not yours you are doing things on the floor and screaming I shouting as if you're possessed but you cannot be possessed you can accept you're not born again if you are born of God you cannot be possessed so who do we cast out unclean spirits from unbelievers Jesus told the story in the synoptic Gospels he said well an unclean spirit let me read it out for you my chapter 12 I'm gonna start from verse 43 when the unclean spirit is gone out of a man he walketh through Dry places seeking rest and finding none that's when you cast out a demon from a non-believer jesus said this I shall follow those I believe in my name believe us shall cast out demons he didn't say believers will have demons cussed out of them no mark 16:17 believe us who I believe the gospel the other ones that were cast out demons from unbelievers you don't cast out demons from believers you don't do deliverance for believers believers will cast out demons rise is when the unclean spirit the believer cast out of an unbeliever has gone out he walketh through Dry places seeking rest and find that not they me say it I will return him to my house because that unbeliever was his house a child of God is the temple of the holy spirit he can be a person he didn't deliver us I will return unto my house from whence I came out and when he is come he findeth it empty swept and garnished the man is still an unbeliever he has not believed the gospel boy you can redeem us from him so the demons went around and came back and because nobody has no new occupant of that person the unclean spirit will go and take with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself and they enter in under deal and the last state of that man is worse than the first the last state of that man is worse than the first so a believer cannot be possessed with evil spirit his possessed of God he has the maximum load of God but believers can cast out demons from unbelievers this I shall follow those that believe so a believer does not need deliverance however a believer needs knowledge of the deliverance he has already received now I know a lot of people are going to start saying what the Bible says in Mount Zion there shall be deliverance well that is Obadiah and I'd like to read that a little bit Obadiah verse 70 but upon Mount Zion shall be deliverance and there shall be holiness and the house of Jacob shall possess their possession in the context of the scripture it was a prophecy the word deliverance there in the Hebrew is translated from the word
