The only underwater part is through the bering strait, which is still 52 miles long. Hong Kong to LA would take 2 days
There are so many mistakes in this video. Itβs like it was made by 3rd graders. $200 million project? Try $200 billion.
When they showed an image of the Capitol in Washington DC, claiming it was Washington State, I stopped watching.
Why end poverty when you can build an underwater train between two countries that hate each other
This was an old project idea they had, never went anywhere because it's stupid.
Sounds like someone took Snowpiercer too seriously.
What's the point of this? Trains are not very effective outside of major metro areas. Very few people will take the 2 day from LA to Hong Kong when the flight is a fraction of the time. If I want to waste time on a train ride, I'll do the one in Banff. Futurology my ass.
Imagine spending it on: - 400 state of the art hospitals or universities or a massive WINNIE THE POOH YOU COULD SEE FROM SPACE
That's super cool, the us wanted to spend billions on a wall that would generate zero revenue.
Hasn't the Los Angeles to San Francisco HSR ballooned to over 100 Billion Dollars? This seems really cheap in comparison.
