In this video, we will make a delicious cheese donut. This can be served as a snack, during celebrations, or for business. So watch until the end Because we will have a list of costing. And I will give some ideas on how you can sell this for your business. So if you are interested in this video, join me as I make cheese donut. Tipid Tips Atbp Cheese Donut Ingredients for the dough We will use ½ kilogram of flour. 60 grams (or ¼ cup) of sugar. 270 mL of water or milk. ½ teaspoon of salt. 1 teaspoon of yeast. 50 grams of milk powder. I used Bear Brand. But any milk powder will do. 1 large egg. This is optional. You can opt to have it or not. 50 grams of butter. But you can use margarine as well. For the donut filling, I will use cheese. Any cheese will do. And for the coating, we will use refined sugar and powdered sugar. We will now start mixing our ingredients. But I will use a mixer. But if you don't have a mixer, you can manually do it. That is why anyone can make this. I am just quite lazy today so I will use a mixer. So now, let's start. Let us put in our ingredients. Salt Sugar Milk powder Yeast Egg Butter And let us also put in the water. You can use milk as well. I will first set the speed of the mixer to number one (low speed). Then I will change it to high speed. We will mix this until all ingredients are mixed and smooth. It is quite sticky. Let's cover this first with plastic. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes. While the dough is resting, we will cover the table with cling wrap. We will first slice the cheese that we will use. So that our production is continuous. Let us divide it in the middle first. With the ¼ part of a whole cheese, we were able to slice 36 pieces from it. If you will make this your business, slicing the cheese is important. so that we won't be losing money in our business. And we were able to slice 72 pieces from ½ part of a whole cheese. The dough has rested for 30 minutes already. And the dough has risen as well. And I have here ½ cup of flour for dusting the dough because this is quite sticky. Let's put it here on our table. It seems like we are in a bakery because of the smell. Let's divide it into two. We will just lengthen this. Let this rest again for at least 30 minutes. Then let's cover it with plastic. We are done letting it rest for 30 minutes. And it has risen again. Let us slice it. Flatten it and remove the air inside. Let us slice the dough first so that our production is continuous. We will weigh 15 grams of this. When you are already used to making this, even if you don't use a weighing scale, it will most likely be exact. We are done slicing the dough. We need trays again. But the tray you will be using should be greased with lard or margarine. So that the dough won't stick. Let us put fillings in these first and roll it into circles then we will return later. Flatten the dough. Just like that. Place the cheese inside and roll it into a circle. There. When you are finished putting the filling, the hands should be like this. Then roll it and it will be shaped into a circle. Just like this. The one we are rolling is the last ball. And the next thing that we will do We will- we will let these balls rise for at least 30 minutes. But once you saw that it is risen already, that is okay already. We were able to make- [counting] We were able to make 53 pieces that is why we have excess cheese fillings. So if you will make this your business, this will not go to waste because you can still store this in the refrigerator so that when you make again, you can use this as the filling so that we will not waste anything. Okay? Let's get back on these once it has risen. 30 minutes have passed and we will now fry the donuts. Add more oil because it should be deep-fried. Let's just wait for the oil to heat up because the oil should be very hot so that the donut will not absorb the oil. Your strainer should be ready. The first batch of donuts we sliced a while ago, will be fried first. Be careful in handling it because it might be flattened. We are done frying. We will now coat the cheese donuts. And we will use powdered sugar, or refined sugar. We will only use these today. It is up to you on what coating you like for your cheese donuts. But for now, this is what I will show you. We will now start coating and I will directly put it in our tray. I placed a parchment paper on top so that the oil will be more drained or absorbed. These are the excess of our 1 cup of each sugar. Just set this aside and you can use it again the next day. Let's now taste both of these. The donut is delicious. The recipe for this donut is very good. It is soft. And the sweetness is just right. I only put 50 grams of sugar in here so that it is not that sweet since we will still coat it with sugar on the outside. When I used to sell these before, I use both. It depends on my customer on what they like between the two. The powdered sugar is just quite expensive compared to this refined sugar. It is almost half the price. But if you think of it, we only need a few of these to coat in the donuts. You can definitely sell this in front of your house, or in front of your garage, just like what I did before. At first, I just made half a kilogram. Until the next day, I just added more and more. I became accustomed to the people here in our place, our customers. You can cook this in front of your house or inside your house. It depends on you on what you prefer to do. You will reach to the point where while you are cooking you have a customer waiting, and in line. As long as you will just get used to making your donuts and you are consistent in selling. So that you can avoid leftovers and your products will not go old because our donut is better if it is freshly cooked every day. So that you will have a lot of customer. And you will become popular in your area that you are selling a delicious donut. Now, how much will we really sell this donut and how much will be our capital? So now, let's start doing the costing. Flour, 17 pesos. Yeast, 2 pesos. Powdered milk, 5 pesos. White sugar, 3 pesos. Salt, 1 peso. Egg, 7 pesos. Butter, 14 pesos. Our total capital for the dough is 49 pesos. Let us also add the capital for the filling and coating. Cheese, 25 pesos. Powdered sugar, which we were not able to use all of it and there is still excess, the one I showed you earlier. Let's just estimate it at 10 pesos. Refined sugar, 5 pesos. Oil, 10 pesos. For the gas and electricity, which we only used for a short while, let us just estimate it at 30 pesos. Let us also add 40 pesos for the labor. So our total capital is 169 pesos. Our capital of 169 pesos, let's divide it by the 53 pieces we made so that we know our capital for each donut. So the result is 3.18 pesos. You can sell this for 5 to 6 pesos. But that still depends on your location. Here in our area, I can sell this for 6 pesos. So I will price this at 6 pesos. Let's multiply 6 pesos by 53 pieces. So our total earning is 318 pesos. Let us deduct our capital of 169 pesos from the 318 pesos earning. So our total income is 149 pesos. The sales are big with donuts. Just like here, we will earn 149 pesos already with just half a kilogram we made. You can sell this half kilogram immediately when someone buys because usually, people buy, for example, for 10 pesos, 20 pesos, 30 pesos, sometimes, 100 pesos. So it is just quick to sell this half kilogram. Right? Let's just say that you are able to produce from 2 kilograms in one day. Our income of 149 pesos for half a kilogram, let's multiply it by 4. That is for 2 kilograms of sales in one day. 149 pesos, let's multiply it by 4. The total of that is 596 pesos. Let's just say it is 550 pesos. Because we will still use a bag for the packaging. Let's multiply 550 pesos by 30 days if you will do it everyday. You will earn 16,500 pesos. The capitals are already deducted. Labor is there already, gas, and electricity. The 16,500 pesos is your income already. Imagine, that is just from 2 kilograms. What more if you are able to produce from 5 kilograms in one day, right? As long as you are consistent in selling. What is important is don't sell old products so that your business will grow because once you had a customer, even though it is only one, the customer will advertise to their friends or neighbors that you have a delicious donut and it is always newly cooked. This one, let me add, if you well sell donuts just like our empanadas, if you will sell it, it should be packed in a paper bag. Not in plastic. So that the presentation is nice for your products or your donuts. So I hope before this video ends, I was able to share another idea with you.
