Hercules the outsider Heelys our senior years we're kind of supposed to go through it together they're screamin pain like that it was I was in shock when I saw her screaming that way I think it's broken I'm pretty sure she broke her ankle now we wouldn't say that out loud to her we don't want her to get nervous or anything but when I looked at it you can actually see the bone sticking out so we're thinking that it's a broken ankle this should be that hidden hurt Maddie she was super excited about this being her last showcase as a senior and my heart breaks for it's just I know she was looking forward to this she's been on this team since she was 12 years old and this is her senior year we've been coaching her for nine years now so it breaks my heart that this has happened to her in her last showcase on SMO if you love you we pray to you your name we pray amen amen you know when something like this happens before something big it just unleashes fears and the kids heads because it could happen to any kid at any time I feel horrible like no coach wants to see their athletes go to that [Music] [Music] [Applause] we went out on the stage and then after that where to the back and just collapse and she just couldn't take it sorry Haylee were keeping an eye on her the paramedics is on her right now they're gonna check her out see what she's doing and then we'll go from there hailey has some type of epilepsy normally she catches my eye in practice and I know when it's about to happen so I could stop the routine cool her down and you know we can try to avoid as many as possible it's never happened in a routine before she went off the floor and kind of started crawling on the floor and I I didn't know what to do like I was just like in the back like hello like and no one heard me and I was just in the back like trying to get someone's attention and half of us didn't even know what was going on or we didn't know what was going on and it was just a lot going on all at once because that's never happened on stage like in the middle of a routine so that was really scary all we did was basically the warmup and then the competition so kind of threw me off guard a little bit I've never seen her on stage like that to me honestly my kids are more important than any cheer competition in the world so the minute that happened I ran onstage thought the music nothing else I can do whether we go on again or not I know that this team will hit ten times harder because this has happened to us before we're used to like facing adversity so whether we go on again compete again I know we're gonna come back harder for hailey stage and I started feeling really weird and then like in the middle of my full like it just kind of like all happen at once and I fell and like I'm starting having a seizure and like all I thought about it was like I need to get off this floor because I don't want to have it in front of every single person in this auditorium right now inside just like try to roll up the floor before we can eat never like while and weak in peace so it's really scary we've been to so many doctors now they try to give you some medication to see but the medication like makes my header look so bad Eddie mentioned something to me not too long ago and he said you know it might happen on stage one day I said no it never happened on stage it's never happened before why would we think that way and here we are now I'm just really sorry [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] you had ten yesterday in a row after how many pull out but you guys giving up right now let's go you're getting love at each other and that's not what we think you here I dare you drop that one I hear you let's go one I've been here for a long time so I have seen this carry sight worthy but a lot of people have never seen the scary sight of Norby they've only seen like the nice side I've never seen him like a couple and not kind of white so I was like okay like or who does not yell like that first of all like if he's yeah if he's yelling at you like it's a rap when or videos that you you know you need to like fix yourself yeah you know another type of coaches that screams a lot I just kind of hold it in and then at the end I pull each individual side by side and I let them know okay this is what I thought up today's practice you could have done this better practice before we wrap that pyramid at least 20 times at least and every single time it hits solid so what you drop two elites and you just throw your hands up in the air and you act like you don't care like nothing else matters you don't let one section affect the next and they do and that really pissed me off and it was just one of those days that he knows enough he just wants to see you trying you're already like any given to the point where he's not down to yell like that and we needed that we knew that for sure it's like if you're not trying your hardest like why are you on the floor you know but we deserve that very sure we did ten rest of them in a row and there really was no reason for us to fall besides just effort and attitude I think in seasons past I've been crazy I've been the one that it has a short fuse and it's quick to snap and this season I've been a lot more laid-back but now they see that it's not just me barking like at this point like it's either you want to do it or you don't [Music] get off the floor are reckless go and get off the floor [Music] [Applause]
