Checking Out Secret Surprises Kosmo Built When I Was Away! (Scrap Mechanic Coop 70)

what's up guys my name is khan and we're back today with more scrap mechanic co-op survival and it's been a little bit since we've done a co-op survival episode i actually had to travel out of town for a weekend so cosmo apparently spent the time when i was gone building some sort of a crazy surprise i have no idea what it is uh i'm still here at the warehouse i haven't even got back to base you can see cosmo is way off in the distance at the base so we're gonna go back to base and check out what he's got in store for us bro it's um night time again it is night time it's always nighttime bro like you couldn't have you like so for you guys you know we can pass the save file back and forth so cosmo sent the i sent the save file to cosmo before i left and then he sent it back to me but he didn't save it in the freaking day time okay how am i it's not like i have a slider that says the time button you know it's not like you've got a thing that tells you what time it is but you know whatever oh my god okay look at what day it is look what day it damn is know what you know what day's coming up you know i know a day's coming you know what day's coming up it's another funny number anyway all right number day i'm gonna should i just wait i should probably just wait right like what do you mean you should just wait just keep keep coming back what are you doing okay i wasn't sure if you want me to see the surprise during the daytime or not no it's all good it's all good i'm gonna let you come to the base you know kind of try and pick out if you see anything different we're gonna start with that okay okay sounds good uh do you want to maybe talk about your surprise at all you don't get me sure so you know i was while you were gone i was thinking you know what i really want to prank khan but at the same time i was like you know what we're lacking like quite a bit of resources we're lacking you know some stuff that women wanted to do for a while so let's just say your surprise is not all that bad i got uh i got a couple of like surprises that you're actually gonna be excited about i think i uh i put in some work i put in some grinding hours and uh i think he'll be pretty impressed i'm actually looting this structure on my way back because i was gonna say it you stopped moving yeah well i'm here and i figure i might as well loot this structure well you know because it's night time and night time just sucks fair enough i love it when the haybots come downstairs and just trip and fall in their face i love that it's trip over their shoes yeah they just trip and it's just like and then there's like a couple seconds before they get back up you know it's good yeah it's pretty ridiculous i'm really stoked for the surprise man i honestly i can say 100 truthfully i didn't even look at cosmo's thumbnail he told me he was building a surprise episode so he did tell me that but that's it i didn't look at his thumbnail i didn't look at his video i didn't look at his description and i you know no one has commented and told me like hey cosmo did this so that's because that's good it's good i'm glad i looked at that actually my comments were like oh khan's gonna know khan's gonna watch your video i'm like guys we have an agreement it's okay i was literally out of town like you know that's right unless i chewed through all my phone bandwidth i wasn't going to watch any videos so especially not cosmos yeah it was great i took a break from the internet for a little bit you know it was it was like weird and that's always always good yeah it's nice to take a break and then i know the only request is you know it's just youtube like scrap mechanic things don't be don't be pulling out your uh your connect to all over the place all right no i i won't do that i won't all right all right surprise that's my only request because oh yeah i got it i kind of mentioned that in my video i'm like it's really hard to you know surprise somebody in scrap mechanic because you can easily just pull out your connect tool and basically see the function of whatever it is you're looking at right so yeah that's why they need to get that connect tool block or whatever they had talked about that hides the connections that would be sick i think the encryptor logs the connections and the protector locks to physical destruction yeah it's something like that yeah i don't i don't know for sure but yeah it's i mean they don't even do anything right now so no no they're uh they're just really pretty ornaments for our vehicles that's about it i'm curious though too when they add those into the warehouse it'll be interesting like if you get up there do you have to destroy them or do you have to turn them off you know yeah that's a good point i feel like i feel like they're going to be interactable you know yeah you turn them off and then you go back through and loot stuff yeah yeah that would make the most sense to me same and then and it would be nice to be able to take it off and use it on your own creations right that would be you know that's what i was thinking is if you could you could turn it off remove it from the wall put it on your own creation to turn it on but then the question is how would that work with like the bots because a bot should still be able to destroy your stuff even if it's protected from like player destruction you know yeah that's that's fair maybe uh maybe bot damage will be categorized differently who knows yeah otherwise you just have this invincible creation that even like bots couldn't destroy and that would be just kind of funny exactly make a giant like bubble block creation that just traps the red guy and he's like i can't get out of this case yeah no that would definitely be an exploit that uh didn't make any sense you're taking your sweet time dude i'm going as fast as i can okay i got little legs man like i got i got a little legs and i ran out of gas while while recording the last episode i had to basically limp the bobcat back and suck oh like lift it the whole way yeah yeah we need to put a seat back onto our uh sky elevator here oh yeah remember the tape bot shot it yep there's some glass missing so yeah we need to upgrade that to be uh like level five seat or something so it's invincible also like guys like why are you shooting there well they just target like anything like they're i know they just like they can't find a human to targets they're like ah yeah burns wooden block really upsets me i'm gonna go shoot this wooden block pretty much all these wooden blocks in the way actually i think a level three seat it's like three it's like what no five durability is what we're trying to if you have five durability it's invincible to tape so right i think that's a level three seat oh what's up dude i'm back what's up dude think about it this way bro had we started during the day you would have been here basically by night time but now now we can just start fresh in the morning you know well i'm gonna i'm gonna stand here for like two minutes and watch the sun reappear in the sky okay [Laughter] oh my god 4 20 on day 420 is going to be in this connections to them too yes so we have 13 uh pumping units now and we actually don't run out of water dude i thought you were gonna do like less useful stuff this is this is useful this is good well you know i didn't want to be entirely useless that's good i honestly didn't even notice that's perfect that's good so now i can literally like like it does deplete but we can water the full farm with like 100 percent ease like it's just it's a lot faster now that's good i can like stop i can go back and we're not going to run out of water halfway you know so it's uh yeah that's very handy that's perfect i know a lot of people too were saying i had a few questions about it why the watering is so slow we mentioned it when we built this but if you actually water it with all them going as fast as possible because they can't shoot faster it'll like crash the game because of all the um animations that happen so they're on such a slow timer and cosmos keep going back and forth just because if we went like boom boom boom boom boom the game literally dies so oh i was like did you turn my water off no what oh i did oh the pumps aren't pumping that's why yeah hold on so when the pumps are pumping it's there we go well the trick is you gotta kind of start with full because like i said there is a light depletion rate but it basically lets you go on for a while before it uh this is awesome this is sick that's good yeah it's good we gotta grow we gotta grow some stuff all right um sir i'm gonna find the next clue uh i don't think you did anything to the purple truck or the nope nope the other timer with like latches basically really that's really good i did not i had a bunch of ideas to like really get you good but they were all kind of world breaking so i i just chose not to break our world and actually that's that's a that's so yeah oh you just wait i'm gonna i'm gonna do some prank stuff too now you have no idea i'm gonna i'm gonna build some stuff at some point what have we started yeah it's gonna be good i'm gonna i'm gonna do it sometime between this episode next i might i might make some prank to get back that wasn't that what i wasn't expecting at all i thought you were genuinely concerned about my trip and you wanted to ask i was like i gotta keep him talking for like 10 seconds yeah i thought you were genuinely excited about my trip we're gonna ask me some stuff all right so you got tina back you got this still rotating thing is there's just a hole in the floor now oh there's just oh my god you that is an elaborate latch mechanism dude [Laughter] i'm no i'm no logic master but i did my best with some some random stuff dude that's like ridiculous you don't even notice it from underneath either that's just well that was my biggest concern is like you're gonna look up and see all the stuff so i like painted brown i tried to cover up as much as i could you know so you know what we could do now is we could convert this so that the whole floor like rotates 180 degrees and goes you know flops between two different things that'd be that'll be funny that would be pretty cool all right so you did that is there anything you got extra cups somehow that's it bro that's it oh that's all you did yeah that's all i did didn't do see i'm a good friend i didn't want to prank you too hard i actually wanted to do some useful stuff didn't do any crazy changes over here no no just uh some metal some wood you know some component kits the good stuff that's awesome yup yup so now we can actually uh you know keep uh keep building and yeah with all our crazy warehouse keys and stuff yes sir dude that's crazy i actually like oh my goodness we we need to we need to do some cleaning there are some base problems oh yeah oh yeah we got all these green boxes oh we got three purple boxes and a gold that's exciting yeah surprisingly i didn't get any clothing boxes at all during my time looking for component kits but where'd you go for component kits just fy just wondering just i started with those bases over i you can't see where i'm looking i started where like the red guy zone is essentially right and i just started walking around around around the map okay well um i have i have something we could do to pass the time in the meantime oh yeah what's that until until we're uh until we're ready oh we gotta go the other way uh oh i'm gonna die cool no i'm not okay right why don't we uh why don't we uh take the helicopter you know and uh go do some more uh raiding of the um the island things we could take the boat to go around the outside yeah well let's take the helicopter first and just see if we can land on someone maybe get some more golden boxes the clothing box kind of gave the idea because that was like golden box heaven so maybe we could go and maybe they've respawned by now because we haven't really done anything about that in a bit yeah we haven't gone to the outside in a long time it's okay i have a new computer now right right i don't know if people know that but i have a new computer okay before everyone asks like sorry i had to remap my keys long story short to like tgfh for the up like one two three four right but for some reason scrap mechanic still maps three as f so it shows one two f four i don't know why f four f yeah it's like it makes no sense for f this thing's amazing listen bro you gotta prank me good now right because now i feel like my prank was a little lackluster well i was i genuinely was not expecting you to put a thrust on the floor i thought i was gonna come back and you'd be like ha ha the whole base is on fire pranked you i'm like okay great like thanks i got i got an idea though but i'm probably i think i'm gonna make a prank that's like um just something you're really not expecting you know like just i hope so i hope so it might not be next episode it might be a different episode i might i might have that's a surprise right yeah i gotta i might not just do it right away because i gotta surprise you but i got an idea that i think would be funny it sounds good as long as like you know you don't expect i think i might need some resources though to make this idea happen that's why i might do it some other time i was going to do some stupid stuff like reversing all your controls but i was like that's just that's just annoying you know yeah you're like oh my stuff's reversed great good prank bro you know yeah so i wanted something that was uh kind of unexpected this is this is un looted isn't it i'm going to come over to your house when you're sleeping and remap your whole keyboard that's what i'm going to do prank resolder yeah actually take your keyboard apart re-solder every key put them all back together be like ah i got you got em got em bro so i made a i made an episode a solo episode where i built a bathroom i know it sounds very thrilling build the bathroom yeah i really haven't spent like an hour looking for a bathtub in the game and i thought that she can't build a bathtub no how weird is that where do you get a bathtub from exactly so the warehouse are apparently used as like food troughs for cows and you can find them in like random fields what yeah you find a random bathtub as a cow food trough in a field yes dude what the heck exactly i've honestly never looked for a bathtub in this game well neither did i and then i started and i was so sure that at least one of the spaceships would have one intact and they did not both of them were destroyed you know that's interesting you did that in your own world or in this world yeah no in my own world so the interesting thing about that is that bathtubs technically speaking are invincible to explosives right right so we could make like an explosive vehicle with a bathtub ceo no gold up here i say we just keep going i don't i don't feel like keep going too yeah let's not bother raiding all the oh you're driving cool next one's to the left is it s to go down or let's go up uh w goes up s goes down okay i think i don't think that's the case it's really slow remember to just pitch so w pitch is harder yeah you're going up look at how high up you are you got to tilt forward if you want to go forward faster though i'm pressing s that's the problem i'm pressing s and i want to go down oh just turn off the throttle and turn it back on you know yeah i find that's that's the best way i've seen you know when i was flying i came back i was flying so i flew out west that's where my trip was just western canada uh you know it didn't cross the borders or anything and when i was coming back you know the pilot was like uh we're coming in for a landing i'm just gonna shut off both engines now and uh turn them back on a little bit uh we'll see you soon and then the play went completely silent and just glided for a bit you know it's true story that tells you that now they never used to like i think i've never heard i would say that i think people were just freaking out about the whole engines turning off all right let's just now they warn you that by the way the edges are gonna turn off it's fine yeah and it's perfectly fine actually in all seriousness it is really cool when a plane lands because as soon as the wheels hit the ground there is a sensor to track you know that the wheels have hit the ground right and then that sensor triggers the engines to like go full reversal so the back of the engine opens up and then it goes full throttle and it's like it feels weird because you're like we just landed and now you're going like hardcore going full tilt again right but it's like shooting the the exhaust or whatever of the engine like forward not backwards so it makes sense crazy oh gosh dude i'm pretty sure there's a gold one here i thought i saw it i thought i saw it too but i know it's just green no it's just like yeah it's tricking us if it's not on the top floor it's not going to be anywhere like that helicopter sure puts on a good show at night yeah the light show i'm sure the bit rate of whatever video render we do we'll just love this part i always love that because like whenever you're you're recording something it looks great for you and then you go to edit and render it you're like oh yeah bitrate is a thing and then it just becomes this blurry mess and youtube compression and then youtube's like hey remember how you rendered it and it looked good that's a funny story so so about that we turned it into potato [Laughter] look at this look at this look at this landing there's still something chill in there hey for when we're here last what do you mean you'll see did you just get rid of the something that was chilling there well you mean this circuit board was here yeah we've played scrap mechanic for how long and like every day we find new things you think we would have seen that before but yeah no kidding all right there's nothing here let's get out of here no sec let me uh top us off my scrap mechanic needs an actual map like i know there's mods for it but it would be sick to have a map with a grid system so you could be like hey we've been to the building in g6 and not you know gotta go to f2 or whatever and blah blah yeah not uh not a hard thing to implement either i mean just hold on hold on pull out your logbook pull out your logbook oh play a log book oh oh all right we're done yeah it's over it's over let's go it's okay we have one more coming up that was the most exciting part of the entire scrap mechanic series today this one we've brings like more storyline to the farmers as well you know just story line in general i i hope there's a quest system that you can then you know speed run you know what i mean that'd be cool like i i don't really want to be a speed runner but i would speed on scrap mechanic 100 yeah i would that would definitely try that'd be really fun because there's i know there's all there's gold chess gold stuff didn't even give us like anything worth it like all right regular chest right oh there's some gas and there's some component kids like yo give me the good stuff man man like i want i want some clothing boxes that's for me but yeah i know there's i know there's speed running categories right now for sky mechanic like i think it's like uh first to get to the top of a warehouse or some nonsense like that right yeah but they had showed that boss you know that warehouse boss yep and it's like speed running to kill the boss or whatever the end of the storyline is i feel like that would be cool that'd be cool um because i'm assuming the storyline like obviously speed running now i've seen a lot of it people like they don't even get spun guns they just like you know basically dodge their way through yeah you just dodge everything right but i'm assuming the quest line is going to add certain like check points that you have to complete you know what i mean i'd be cool yeah yeah like get a spot gun yeah or like grow some props or trade some nonsense i think we did this one we did oh um i'll fix this you deal with it we 100 did this yeah you want to know how i know your stuff's still can there check it out what'd you do it was just a haybot arm that's the replacement it's the natural the currents sometimes haybots yeah that's actually one of those stalactites in a cave you know yeah it's actually it's hibernating like when two haybots really like each other they create a haybot arm but then eventually becomes a full hayball matches into a box it hatches into a full-sized haybot it's a true story oh my gosh just science definitely come back at some point in time and check every single yes everything single structure that we haven't been to it's uh yeah so we should do what we did at the warehouse and put like a pillar on top of each one when we're done that makes sense yep and then that way we can guarantee that we have it you know but that all that'll mean one of the next episodes we can just do a gold chest hunting episode yeah well there's got to be something that like you know they're manually placed or something because it seems very weird to me that only the ones we haven't touched have gold chests exactly and the ones that they have touched they never really spawn again right is that's the question is do they never spawn again or is just a super low spawn rate well i'm sure somebody can tell us in the comments i'm sure somebody's looked at the code and uh knows all about that so maybe yeah i would figure that as well but i'm just worried we're gonna run out of gas this helicopter and then we'll be really screwed so we should definitely uh get back to base before that you know yep you wanted me to fly the helicopter just so you can watch me fail landed on the yeah i want to see your landing skills that's 100 what's going down you better be right on the h oh my god it's not right on the age you know you're fired right someone else i'm just gonna hover here until we run out of gas dude you gotta run out of gas right above the helipad okay the the giant pillar just i know this giant pillar just spawns in yeah oh oh no oh no oh maybe waiting hold on hold on no no no no no no no you gotta this is not acceptable sir what do you mean no you have to you have to prove your piloting skill where oh you brought it over there here we go we got it we got gas let's put it in fill it up every time i go to put it down you've already clicked it and then it disappears this is a pretty cool tree for it i will say we've spent a lot of time building this tree fort and it looks really freaking cool it is it is kind of the coolest base to have a tree fork base honestly just a really exciting all right here we go oh my god look at him coming in that's so fast what bro it's so good that's such a good landing perfect well i'm glad i didn't totally watch that we also need to do a farmer collecting episode of we haven't done that in a while we need more farmers on the thing yeah trade for the purple boxes that's right yeah yeah a lot of stuff and we gotta have dapper in to uh so we can clothe them you know because the poor yeah with all the greens doesn't have any clothes to wear so true true he needs the green clothes and then we've got the purple boxes we need to figure out what they need at the trader and get a bunch of the seat back on but i fixed the hole in the floor so oh okay yeah i just yeah and i mean i guess we want to make sure we get the get the thruster so we don't waste it yeah and like we'll get all the
