Chasing Rivers in a Gyroplane - Greatest flight I’ve ever had

let's say you have a friend named Joe and Joe happens to live in a house that's not like a normal house and that friend named Joe also lives next to a small grass runway next to a lake which leads into a river let's say that inside of Joe's unique house there's a magical flying machine called a gyroplane if one day your friend Joe invites you on a ride in that gyroplane you should say yes to Joe's offer and you take that ride in Joe's gyroplane [Music] this aircraft is called the Aveo mania gs2 and it's the only one of its kind in the United States powered by a 130 horsepower Honda engine this gyroplane was made for pure fun for two people Joe finished building a gyro and first fluid in 2017 and there truly is nothing that flies quite like it already so I'm down here at Sutherland strip with the world-famous gyro Joe and today we're gonna do something really special so Joe what's the plan for today's play well last time you flew with me we went on a nice magic carpet ride mm-hmm but today we're going to get down and we're gonna fly out of Africa we're gonna be 5 feet off the ground we're going to be flying between palm trees out over the river might even land out there all right not intentionally but it [Music] clear prop [Music] subtle the traffic red rotorcraft swarmers parchment knives [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] after taking off from the 2,000 foot Sutherland strip we flew south east towards the st.
