i could tell you from traveling the country and seeing how different churches have handled different circumstances some people have totally failed the test your pastor has passed the test but what is the test what is that test well the bible speaks clearly about that you see in matthew and then in james and all throughout the new testament talks about the promise of persecution so we don't talk about that a lot a lot of churches they do the promise of eternal life which we do we are promised that we're the promise of coming in a relationship with our creator through jesus but jesus also talks about the promise of persecution it's not even a question it's not like this might happen you know if it happens here's a how-to manual and do you know what we're supposed to do when we're persecuted we're supposed to celebrate we also say this is evidence that we're doing the right thing that so when we have protesters outside the public health officials the governor coming after us this is confirmation that we are right where god wants us and i have a rule if you are in the culture if you are getting all the nice articles written in the new york times and if you're getting all the a-list celebrities to say nice things about you you're probably not doing something right in the church so i want to talk about this and i didn't zero in on this in the previous services but what is a church it's such a simple question isn't it but unbelievably complicated answer is a church a ted talk with a rock concert because that's kind of what it feels like in most churches right i'm going to give you five points on how to improve your life a lot of lights and music by the way your worship here is incredible your worship team is and i don't say that lightly because i've gone i've been to a couple churches where it's like whoa god bless you intent did not materialize into the result but we god looks at the heart so god bless them i mean that you guys have wonderful heart and amazing fruit i really mean that the music here is spectacular but is that what the church is it's a ted talk with the rock concert is the church about making you feel good that's what a church is it's such a simple question but in some ways we can't answer it so let's go back to what the bible says jesus at caesarea philippi famously said who do you say i am later on he asks and he commands on this rock build my and we use the english word for church it's not that simple so when tyndale translated the bible from greek to english everything changed so prior to that the bible was in latin i know that there's a lot of catholic brothers and sisters here and this is by no means a slight at the catholic church some of my dearest friends are catholic my mother was raised catholic my grandmother was the most catholic person i think in north america no seriously it was ewtn it was mass every day and she was a phenomenal person and i know that she accepted jesus christ as her lord and savior i know there's a lot of catholics in this area too and so i'm not going to get into the theological differences here but i am going to pinpoint one thing that i think the catholic church was incorrect on theologically so the catholic church said the church is centered in rome one leader one hierarchy you must go through our infrastructure to get to the get to the creator i think that's a fair way to describe especially how it worked in the 14th and 1500s tyndale changed everything this guy was a rabble rouser he's like yeah what did the scriptures actually say because you know latin was not well was what not widespread less than half of one percent of the population of europe actually spoke latin so you had a bunch of people that were unable to access the scriptures the perfect word of god and so he wanted to democratize the bible he wanted more people to read the bible so he went and he did the very difficult scholarly work to translate the bible from greek of which most of the scriptures are written into english now we all speak english you're hearing me in english english was the language of the peasants it's the language of the common man most people who spoke english in the scottish highlands which are originally my people and our people that's why we always love a good fight um is they didn't they were not english was not a respected language so tyndale goes in and he says whoa jesus didn't say church to fill her word he it was a greek word called ecclesia what is that so ekklesia was actually something very very specific jesus said on this rock build my ecclesia so we do a little bit of research on what that is what is a church and that glicia the word that our scriptures tell us that christ used he spoke aramaic who was translated to greek the best fit word was not synagogue it's not temple he said it was this word ecclesia ecclesia was a political gathering in ancient greece and ecclesia was a place where citizens came and fasted and prayed unified and met about the welfare of the town in the city that they were in to try and strive for two words i i lo the more greek that i learned which is very little the more i of appreciation for how brilliant our founders were for incorporating these words and what they meant and how foolish our current leaders are i really mean that and so around two words ella eutheria and isonomia freedom and equality so jesus said on this rock go build my ekklesia on this rock go have a gathering of people that care about the welfare of the city that they're in that is active that is engaged that is aware that is loving compassionate but also that is taking terrain you see in american christianity we have this false belief of compartmentalized christianity like our influence stops right here at the wall you know we at the walls we can't really do too much government is for other people we're just gonna we're just gonna save people and then our responsibility stops that is not what jesus said jesus wanted comprehensive christianity he wanted to send people in all spheres of influence in media and pop culture and arts and yes government politics and yet we have been hypnotized in the broader american church where they say we only talk about the gospel well so do we it's the good news the gospel is really simple god created you we rebelled we're broken we need jesus we accept him we get eternal life creation fall redemption recreation it's pretty simple and yet the good news needs to be spread in every single sphere of influence what's preventing that in the last 100 years secular ideas have been more successful than christian ideas it's very difficult to say and admit secular activists are more evangelistic than most christians it's tough to hear that right it's true atheism is the fastest growing religion in america and atheism is a religion atheism is a declaration that there is no god now there might be some atheists here god bless you for being here get it i have a couple comments on atheism and i mean this first of all without god there would be no atheists secondly i don't have enough faith to be an atheist my good friend turek talks about this often he has a whole podcast around it i think it takes more faith to believe that everything we're living through is an act of randomness the more you study science and actual science not the stuff that dr anthony fauci who by the way should be fired immediately immediately talks about or your governor and yes i will get to her in a second i will i promise that's the only through line of every one of my speeches is the tyrant running the state it's true because her tyranny is worth challenging the more you study science the more that you go into the inquiry of the natural world the more you realize that there were laws that were set up called natural laws where is natural laws mentioned in the declaration of independence our founders knew this the laws of nature and nature's god they knew that god set up nature in a certain way for example the laws of gravity the second law of thermodynamics the inevitable law of decay force equals mass times acceleration an object in the rest will stay at rest equal and opposite reaction whether we know those as newtonian physics god set up those parameters and the bible is consistent with the laws of nature the more that we go in to discover the scientific world the complexity of dna the more that we map the human genome the more honest scientists are blown away by the splendor and the wonder that only an omniscient omnipotent creator could have put that together only if you believe that this was just a roll of dice basically the right combination at the craps table you have infinitely more faith than we christians do infinitely and i mean that that gap of faith where now science tells us the universe had a start that there was a moment when it began well therefore using aristotelian logic if something started there must be a starter and that starter we call the creator or god therefore i believe that and i mean this lovingly to atheists that watch and we have a lot of atheists that support our podcast and i think that there are a lot of honest atheists my one piece of advice is call yourself an agnostic not an atheist an atheist is you screaming up to the heavens saying you're not there an agnostic comes from the greek word agnosis without knowledge says i don't know and saying i don't know is okay in fact that is the first step towards knowing god is saying i don't know i want to learn atheism is a wall it's a shield saying i got all the answers you see i figured it out there's nothing up there it takes a lot of pride to believe in something like that so being an agnostic is perfectly understandable it's okay and we should reach out with tenderness to those people because there's a creator that wants to get to know them the third thing about atheism this all ties together is the intention i ask this question frequently and you should do this too to the atheists in your life which is do you hope you're wrong do you hope that there's a god and if the answer is no i hope there's no god what a depressing way to look at the world you don't see your loved ones you can you can never come in contact with a creator there is no ultimate justice there's no mercy there's no grace we're just a bunch of cells there's no beauty there's no truth there's no romance we're all just under this hypnotic trick of an act of randomness and when you die it's dust what a depressing way to look at the world wouldn't it be a better way to look at the world at least a more hopeful way to look at the world which is why an atheist says yes i hope i'm wrong i have tons of respect for them at least they're on they want to they want to be proven that there's a creator then i say okay good you actually do believe that certain music can speak to you worship literally is the closest that you can come to a to the romance or to kissing your creator it goes back to the actual word worship that's why there's the longest book of the bible dedicated to songs psalms how it's how you can get best in touch with the supernatural at times when you look at beauty what is beauty that which is perfected and being you go to yosemite national park you're wow even an atheist is blown away there's something that speaks to your soul at that moment right it's more than just logic and reason of which i'm a huge fan of don't get me wrong my whole movement is built on logic and reason but there's something deeper beyond just our ability to think rationally which i think we don't do enough of in our society where it speaks to everyone music and beauty and art is how you communicate with that which is why we have such miserable people in this country because the music that we're publishing and the art we're producing is so antithetical to what it actually means to pursue beauty music that glorifies the distance from god a lifestyle a culture that is self-indulgent not appreciating the creator that's why when you hear this worship music you're all of a sudden saying i'm not even understanding all the words but it's speaking to me and so how does this all tie together atheism is the fastest growing religion in america what's the church of atheism we know our church we're in it got a great church i asked you what is that what what is a church you're sitting in it it's doing it right you're helping the community community you're feeding the hungry you're clothing the cold you're mentoring those that are broken and yes you're taking strong moral stances what is the church of the atheist because whether or not the atheist will admit it or not community what you're doing right now every human being needs see the cool thing about what we believe in and cool is a massive understatement but i'll use that word is that we have a god-sized hole in our heart that only jesus can fill and so for atheists or the people that don't believe in a creator you gotta fill it so how do they do that earthly domination gotta take over whatever we possibly can what's the tried and true way what are most villains in the bible what most people that are portrayed in a negative light what do they have in common abusing governmental rule against the innocents it's a pretty interesting political truth that we don't talk about enough right pharaoh oppressing the israelites jesus almost being murdered because of an edict to kill first-born children wow so people in power trying to make themselves permanently and indefinitely important and so what's happening here in this country is a theological debate most the church doesn't realize that they're too busy doing ted talks and talking about how god doesn't care about how you vote which is just such an unbelievably unbiblical thing to say i'll get to that in a sec when in reality here's the theological debate we believe that there is a god and you are not him let me say that again to the governor of new mexico there is a god and you are not him that your existence your thoughts your choices your actions and yes your rights come from that creator a vertical relationship of being they don't believe that they believe that government is the sovereign how did we get here as america became more secular became more leftist the secularization of america leads us to a place where no one questions lockdowns and the church is to mostly blame for this this not this church but the church in general because this is the exception and you know that this is the exception to the rule you have a rule for a reason and you have exceptions most churches over the last 30 40 years were indifferent to the most important more important moral and pressing issues of our time and especially after the soviet union crumbled the wall fell before i was born we kind of took the 90s easy didn't we the 90s good good time economically peaceful time politically you look back or like wow we had two genders dr seuss saint jemima gone with the wind it's like it was a great time to be alive right [Applause] and now we look we see like you know i'm going to constantly say something where i'm going to get canceled i'm going to get eliminated and so what happened in the 90s is we went to sleep and the left went to work they took over everything the civil service the academies the schools the corporations the education of your kids the social media companies what did we do we kind of went to sleep not to say that the church didn't flourish in the 90s of course you had the saddleback movement you had the massive expansion of so many different you know the jesus loves you movement all that stuff is great what was the result the result was we don't do politics politics is for you guys we're just going to do the gospel what an unbelievably foolish decision that was because when all of a sudden the church was like we don't do politics you guys do what you want we don't do politics you guys can pass it as long as separation we believe in separation of church and state which is unbiblical unconstitutional that's not in the constitution however let's pretend that they're right how about we keep the state out of the church how about we keep the governor out of this place and so now we are living the 30-year result of the church being asleep and the left being at work see we defeated communism without ever firing a bullet we had a great president ronald reagan who framed it properly you know how reagan and he never gets credit for this and our children that don't study this i i go to these universities and they have no idea about the soviet union east and west germany east and west berlin but if you ask them about the 1619 project they could tell you all about it get to that maybe in the next service running out of time as always and so we defeated the soviet union with ideas with truth with morals you know what reagan called the soviet union the evil empire that is a godless government he declared a theological difference he said we believe that god created us they believe vladimir lenin created them let's see who wins what happened they crumbled and now many of those countries in eastern europe are actually more in pursuit of truth than our own country poland hungary not all the countries have their act together plenty of corruption but generally they don't want to go back and now we're playing with the temptation from the devil and i don't say that lightly we are playing with this temptation you can create utopia here just one more government act of universal health care just one more act of 1.9 trillion right just one more we can do it when in reality the conversation we should be having is before we do another 1.9 trillion dollars are you acting the best that you can act are you making the decisions best for you so the church has been asleep soviet union fell because we had a president and a church in the 80s that was reawakened more so than in the 90s 90s fell asleep i was born in the early 2000s and i was told that every church that i attended no politics no politics no politics no politics no politics it's unbiblical esther mordecai daniel jeremiah nehemiah joseph all contested for god's purpose in secular government they have to wrestle with the ecclesia thing that i say with but then also some people say pastor steve you're in violation of romans 13. romans 13 the most quoted and least understood piece of scripture in the bible it's funny the pastors that galavan around romans 13 are very shy to ever talk about any of the other political verses in the bible but what does romans 13 say and i'm paraphrasing submit to rulers and authority who's in charge in this country god you're right who's in charge even in our constitutional republic true but who else so who who do we submit to in america we submit to the will of the people you don't submit to some governor that tramples on your first principles under romans 13 written as paul wrote it the minute that your god granted rights are violated they're violating romans 13 you aren't we're the sovereign so under your governor i don't remember her name because she doesn't have a name worth remembering i mean that no seriously it's true in the bible names meant a lot names were everything she has no name worth remembering she is a tyrant it's that simple and she is in the mold of a tyrant remember this truth scared people are easier to command informed people are harder to control the more you learn the harder you are to control and so why the church why not planned parenthood why not blm inc why not cannabis dispensaries what is the hyper fixation on the church almost like a pathological obsession protesters outside government health people fines you name it and this church isn't alone my friend mike mcclure calvary chapel san jose facing two million dollars of fines for doing exactly what you're doing he's not backing down he's doing the right thing there's more pastors than you would believe that are doing this we're bringing them together rob mccoy joe pedic james cadiz cody cool jack kibbs jurgen luke and angel barnett you know some of these names and they are standing we're going to bring them together but why the church it's the only thing they don't control that's it show me one other place of terrain they don't control you see they're not interested in building new they're interested in taking over destroying and destructing so they control the universities they control the civil service they control a lot of the military they control mass media they control your language whether you realize it or not they control the tech companies they control the movies that your kids watch on disney plus all the way up through netflix they control everything but they're not satisfied they'll never be satisfied you know that is the desire that they have because there's something different about a church that bothers them bothers them on a very personal level who is them i'm talking about the people that want you shut down lock down government ordinances you can call them the left you can call them secularists whatever these are all interchangeable terms but you know exactly who i'm talking about and your governor is a per a perfect personification of it them and all of the public health officials and all the intelligentsia that support her why the church it's because they know the only thing that is in the way of their ultimate power grab is this place is the church if you look at every successful revolution they almost always go for the church first but even before that they go for the disagreeable churches you see stalin didn't go for every church he killed thousands of pastors we don't teach our children this thousands didn't kill them all why because he knew that people if they had no churches they would revolt instead he kept the pr the people in the orthodox tradition that would toe the party line that would say that stalin is a no anointed by god which is considered in the old testament the worst commandment now that we don't talk about this correctly people say taking the god's name in vain is the worst commandment that is true if you go back to the original hebrew it's not just saying god as an expletive which no one should do it's different it's doing evil in the name of god that is the thing that is worse than anything else doing that which is immoral and saying god is on your side saying that god wants planned parenthood to remain open that is the worst thing you can do is saying how god's purpose is somehow for an evil [Applause] the church bothers them they need the churches closed because then they'll be in total control people say well charlie what do they want to do next they haven't thought that through they just want power they want power no different than napoleon no different than they just want terrain they want power we want freedom that's why we are not built for this but we got to get trained and i see your eagerness why are we not built for this because for us we kind of want government to be a second or third concern our family our church our profession and our hobbies should matter more than our governments our government should remain where it's supposed to in a limited constitutional form so then we can live our life their life is the government because it's their church remember every person needs community and connection here you worship god in a different way and almost in a parallel way in the last year they look to the state for all the answers i'm by no means saying we should get rid of government government should enforce our laws we should have judges we should have police and we should thank our police officers for doing an amazing job the government has a very specific role in fact it's the bible that originally talked about what government should be but did you know for decades israel had no standing army and no military and virtually no crime why because everyone knew the law and they were the self-enforcing police of the law and then what did they say god give us a king so be careful what you wish for and then it started to unravel and deteriorate from there and so we're in a theological debate in this country very few christians admit it and it's really a question of who's in charge where do your rights come from and even a more basic and fundamental question which is who do you blame for your problems it's a really simple this is i talk about this with students all the time and if you are a student my next speech will be all about young people college education social media completely tailored to the next generation and so if that interests you please go to that because these kind of work in a little bit of like a chapter sequence but i'll touch on this right now we used to tell our young people in the 1950s and 60s correctly that you're pretty screwed up and america's awesome now we tell our young people you're wonderful and america's terrible we completely turned it on its head for parents out there let me tell you one piece of biblical truth self-control is infinitely more important to teach your kids than self-esteem the great the great dennis prager talks about this quite often you know who has a ton of self-esteem this is very provocative i can't wait for this to get written up murderers they do psychological analysis by independent studies one after the other you think so hot you must think highly of yourself to take another life that's not to say that you should just beat yourself up all the time that's not what i'm suggesting but the self-esteem movement has done such unbelievable damage and harm to my generation unspeakable damage i remember walking through high school and there were these signs that said you're perfect the way you are and i remember turning my teachers then why the heck are we here everything's done if i'm perfect the way i am now the intention of the self-esteem movement might be good we're beating our kids up too much we got to lift them up okay that might be there might be some adjustments that could have been made but to flip it on its head and say you could do anything you want when you want to do it you're the most important thing in the world there is a gravitational pull around your existence with such an unbelievable disservice we have the most suicidal depressed generation in american history the most drug addicted device addicted and again my next speech will be specific specifically tailored to that where we teach young people in college that the biggest problem in the world is america is something existential in reality the biggest problem in the world is you it's your actions it's your relationship with your creator you got to get your act together stop blaming other people make better choices stop doing drugs tell the truth wake up earlier work harder it's easier to blame other people and i'm all for pointing out plenty of injustices and a great way to a great example is in new mexico here is the governor has has really unfairly gone after so many people that there's a legitimate claim that you could say that i have not been able to do something because of what the governor did and i'm not one to glorify victimhood but legitimately if you're a small business owner in new mexico you are a victim and i don't say that lightly i reserve that label for when it is necessary when i go to a college campus and i see a black woman at harvard and she says i'm oppressed i say you're not oppressed you're the luckiest black woman in the history of the world you're at harvard work hard you'll be ahead of a law firm stop telling me how oppressed you are and first of all you're you're lucky i'm oppressed because i'm a black woman at harvard give me a break the suppression olympics nonsense has got to stop this competition of i'm the most oppressed person in the world none of you are oppressed even remotely as much as 99 of the rest of the world you live in america make good choices succeed be thankful it's that simple [Applause] oh they're going to love that one pastor steve now and while i'm on it and i and i just say this we're the least racist country in the history of the world i one of the biggest lies one of the most dangerous lies i'm gonna try to fit this in with the six minutes i have remaining it's not easy is look the devil seeks to divide we know that the gospel seeks to unite it is a unifying gospel by definition paul says clearly neither slave nor master nor greek nor jew we are all one in the body of christ i think your skin color is completely irrelevant i don't care what you look like i care how you act i don't care about the melanin content in your skin it's irrelevant if you care about people's skin color you're the racist not me it's that simple now let me say there are racists in america no doubt but we have a supply and demand problem with racists in america there's such an unbelievably limited supply and this pent up demand to find them we're actually more decent than we give ourselves credit for you know how the only way you could believe people are good is if you live in america where people are basically good you go to the rest of the country the rest of the world it's not always the case we are the most generous country in the history the planet the most accepting the most benevolent the least likely to judge on race and yet i have to go through this non-stop narrative which is designed to divide that there's someone lurking in the shadows that wants to hold you back based on your skin color let me be very clear if there's a racist in the audience you've got work to do to repent and to communicate with your creator and ask for forgiveness i mean that it's a sin however your mere existence as a white heterosexual male does not mean that you are currently participating or engaging in the sin of racism it doesn't and anything to the contrary is a lie in fact it's a hyper fixation or to try to keep people down to convince them they can't succeed because there's a boogeyman around the corner when in reality if you get married before you have kids you graduate from high school and get a job you're gonna be just okay in this country generally and don't commit crimes it's a tough message but it's true when in reality it's easier you know how much easier my life would be steve if i just went around and i had a list of people you could blame seriously your employer your parents which is another thing i'm going to talk about in the next thing i do want to mention it here it's a very important thing what's the first thing tyrants always do before they go after the church it's very important they turn their kids against their parents mao did it stalin did it and you're seeing it now you're seeing these spoiled brats on tick tock and i mean that that that are getting tons of praise from celebrities for talking about how awful their parents are why did god put that in the ten commandments honor your parents not love completely different word it's the only commandment with a promise so that you may live long in the land of which you are in and prosper you don't do that you don't prosper now i understand plenty of people have parents who have abused them and all of that i get it that's an exception the rule is that generally your parents weren't awful generally and i know there are plenty of stories i hear about it however i see old people all the time i don't talk to my parents anymore i say why well because you know they disagree with me on this and this they say there's a specific commandment that you must honor your parents you must communicate with them they might have something that you can learn to know the road ahead ask those coming back they might be a little bit whatever but all of a sudden to have the pride that i have it all figured out my parents don't that is how civilizations disintegrate and that's what they want to do it's what mao did that's what stalin did he brought in the young kids that's what the national socialist worker party in germany did when he brought in all the kids they say your parents don't know we know obey the state that's why all of a sudden you have kids going to their parents like you don't understand the existential threat of climate change you don't understand how systemically racist we are pitting kids against their parents destroying that compact it's intentional because then all of a sudden your governor becomes more important because who are they going to look to for authority people need authority and if it's not the parent who hopefully god willing will be getting their authority and their wisdom from the bible and from god this vertical relationship of civilization replication which has worked very well for western society and we've just decided you know what everything before us was a mistake let's just throw it through the shredder it's basically the ethos of college campuses so that everyone who came before us if someone was a white male before the 1800s they just don't make it into the curriculum because they must have been completely evil which is such an unbelievably awful way to look at life so let me kind of tie this all together what you're doing here in new mexico is on the forefront of what matters most in america let me tell you why you do not live in texas you don't live in alabama or mississippi the fight here is harder it's easier to cower and conform you know much easier you guys know it if you put your black lives matter sign outside of your home blm don't don't you know don't come after me i got it look how good of a person i am right all that it's harder to go to a church like this it's harder to articulate these ideas and values it's harder to go against the governor my goodness she has the state police she's executive orders but i think the country that we all love which is the greatest country ever to exist in the history of the world and the greatest experiment in civil government and let me be very clear we are not a perfect country i've never i would never say something like that we are the best country and we're an excellent country and we're a moral country we are because of our tradition our culture our history our values our ideas how we are founded recognizing we were made in god's image and protecting those rights that god gave us no other country has ever done that no country this country will survive or disintegrate based on whether or not the freedom-loving people can test in the tough fights in the tough fights that is what will determine the future of america so in a decade from now when i return to this church or whenever i'm coming in july but let's say 10 years from now i'm not going to i'll be back sooner than that we'll look around and we'll say either every person who was here said now this is a mandate for action or i'm just going to kind of cower because the stakes are too high that's what's going to determine the future of america so let me tell you two things that will give you hope and optimism number one we know the laws of nature right law of gravity law of thermodynamics newtonian physics these are laws you can prove in science and i would like to add one to the scientific community the left destroys everything they touch everything it says tried and everything they destroy the boy scouts they're trying to destroy the church they destroy universities they destroy companies so they're going to mess this up and we will have an opportunity at that moment i believe it's happening here in new mexico and here's the second piece of truth that i will tell you you're actually much more influential and powerful than you might think it is the enemy that whispers in your ear where you say my action doesn't matter my words mean nothing and i'm going to do nothing apathy being indifferent is a gift to the enemy that wants to put evil into the hearts and minds of our young people it's a gift to the enemy that wants to continue to slaughter the unborn the confusion of gender you're a lot more powerful than you might think you're also a lot tougher than you might think i don't think people give themselves enough credit i don't especially in the last year seriously you're a lot tougher than you than you think and you should be especially everyone here should be applauded for that so let me give you two action items one that steve mentioned if you guys are able it helps me a lot personally and our movement from being canceled by these big tech companies every device has a podcast app you type in charlie kirk show you hit subscribe maybe i said something that motivated you to action you want to hear more we do two podcasts today one on saturday one on sunday and if every person in this church and watching at home did it we would beat rachel maddow in the podcast charts which i would love to do everybody how great would that be either on spotify or on apple news and here's the last thing and run out of time every time the bible is the word of god there's no other book ever written but like it some people might be here and you might have never been involved in church or whatever and you might say i came here for charlie and you know i i don't know about this church thing that's fine welcome there's a creator that wants to get to know you that gave you a gift so you can live forever you're broken by your nature you're not going to get enough points on the scoreboard to get you to eternal life and there is a gift that you can accept that can get you there the gospel in four words is jesus took my place the gospel in three words is him for me two words substitutionary atonement and one word grace what is grace we say that a lot amazing grace well first we must talk about what justice is justice is getting what you deserve a prison sentence a judge comes in and say you broke into the store you get a year in prison mercy is you go in front of the judge they say you broken the store but you serve a month in prison instead of a year it's getting less of a sentence but grace is at your sentencing hearing when someone shows up and says i'll serve the prison sentence for that guy that's what jesus gives you god bless you guys and thank you so much wow if you'll have a seat just for a moment help me all enjoy that i believe this i thought about this yesterday before service where we packed it out it was so incredible if everybody just remained seated for the next few moments if you're new here we just ask you during this part of the service just give us a few more minutes of your time i believe this can be the beginning of a movement in new mexico to take back our legislature to take back the governorship to get people in power get rid of this gov a mayor also and most of the city council and most of the aps people except one um i do believe this can begin uh the beginning of a movement i do believe though as a church we need to realize that um when china kirk has come it's not that i need validating but it was great to hear from somebody who can articulate maybe in a greater way than i can why we do what we do i just knew in my heart that we should never listen to these people i don't trust them i never have and how when they invaded the church and began to put all these things on i said you got to do this you got to do this you got to do this or you could go to jail you get fined i thought after a while i said i don't care and here's why because i know the work of the lord has to be done and you have to be of one opinion not two and so i've decided to be of one opinion if god is god follow him if he's not then don't follow him if bell is god whichever they worship the god that wants to kill babies destroy lives sexually immoral then serve him but if you want to serve the god that charlie kirk talked about that that we believe in as a church he's the father of our lord jesus christ [Music] and the only way to have a relationship with god is through jesus you either go to heaven or hell folks there's no middle ground there's no purgatory there's none of that when you die you've already made your decisions where you'll go if you ask jesus to be lord of your life not just to save you but to be lord well he'll lead and and and and you'll follow lordship is being all in and no matter what you've done jesus wants to be lord of your life he wants to lead you into a better path he wants to lead you into a righteous way where he can he can help you to become who you god's called you to be because he's the potter and you're the clay give him the the permission to mold you people say well i've messed up i don't feel worthy enough listen those are lies from the pit of hell jesus we don't become worthy on ourselves and we don't come to god based on our works we come to him based on what jesus did and so right now if you have not asked jesus to be lord of your life this is your moment if you've never submitted your will to his if you're here and you've walked with god but you've walked away this is your moment folks saying a prayer is not going to get you saved i don't care what any group says it's believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth the lord jesus that causes salvation most people just want save so they don't go to hell but they don't want lordship and jesus said you don't get salvation until you've received lordship and lordship is an act of my will that says okay god i don't get it i mean when i made jesus lord in my life i didn't even understand what i was saying and then they started teaching me the word you got to do this you got to do this and you gotta stop doing that then you gotta stop doing that and that and that and that but you gotta start i mean there were so many things i had to stop and then they told me things i needed to start doing that's lordship and you're willing to work on those things so you can follow him god's not a god that wants to condemn or beat you up he's a god that wants you to be born again that wants you to receive him and receive jesus because there's no relationship with god without jesus none well i believe in god well what god is that so if you want to believe in god of the bible the father of our lord jesus christ the bible says we believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths so if that's you in the powerful name of jesus every head bowed and if you're online watching and i know the online's big just a moment of quietness peace reverence if you would if you're here and you say pastor would you include me in your prayer i've walked with the lord but i've walked away you're right and i just man i just have this unworthiness feeling i just feel like why would god want me because god sent jesus to die for you he died for all of your sins not just the ones you think are small but the ones you think are really big and we're not saved by works you don't come to god based on what you did you come to god based on what jesus did and that's called humbleness and he says i give grace to the humble and i resist the proud when he says resist he means like push him away like get away from me so this is humbling yourself if you've never asked jesus to be lord of your life truly and say god whatever that means i'll follow you just you lead i'll follow i'll learn your ways and when you make him lord he opens your eyes so you can read the bible and understand it begin to he'll begin to speak to you through the scriptures even when you read or when you're hearing the gospel so if that's you in the powerful name of jesus whoever had bowed and online if you say preacher would you pray with me listen i i want to know who i'm praying for if i'm praying for anybody and if you say i'm ready to make jesus lord of my life i'm ready to be part of the ecclesia the church that will not just hide behind the walls but will get out in the marketplace and proclaim the scriptures and and let government even know this is this is how you this is what your job is if that's you in jesus name and you're ready to make jesus the lord of your life right where you're seated right where you're at online i'm going to ask you just one simple thing it's not hard but it is something and what you're saying is i don't care what god thinks i'm ready to make jesus lord of my life i don't care what anybody i don't care what not god thinks i don't care what anybody else thinks but i do want to know what god thinks if that's you in jesus name right where you seated would you just lift your hand up all over this place god bless you god bless you god bless you god bless you as i look across god bless you who else would join god bless you god bless you god bless you god bless you god bless you thank you so much as i look across the top god bless you god bless you over here god bless you god bless you thank you so much as i look across god bless you god bless you god bless you who else as i look across the top one last time god bless you over here on the bottom anybody else at the top god bless you over here god bless you anybody else on the bottom anybody else at all says man i want jesus in my life he said why do you want me to raise my hand because god bless you if you're not willing to say i want god in here where the people are for you how are you ever going to serve god out there when the world's against you thank you sir god bless you god bless you right here man god bless you father in the powerful name of jesus i thank you so much god bless you i thank you so much for all these people there was so many thank you up there god bless you so many people just said yes to you and god i know all heaven rejoices just when one comes home well how many what's heaven doing now with all these i know father that jesus is now calling their name to you because they were willing to confess and they're willing to say i don't care what anybody else thinks i want god in my life right now i need to get born again i need to get right to die without god is to die to an eternal death and punishment forever but to die with god in your heart he gives you everlasting life in eternity in heaven forever so father bless each one in jesus name if you lifted your hand i want you to pray this prayer aloud with me right where you're seated i want everybody in here that's right with god to pray with us if you're online you pray with us too if you're by yourself you pray it out loud the bible says we believe in our heart and confess with our mouth if you're with a group have the whole group pray with you would you pray this prayer with me church would you pray father i choose to believe in jesus and i believe he is your son and i believe he is lord so i believe that with my heart and now i willingly confess with my mouth jesus be lord of my life thank you for saving me thank you for forgiving me i'm a child of god i'm born again i'm on my way to heaven jesus is now lord of my life in jesus name amen and amen amen let's thank the lord
