Cement mixer roll over on freeway

wow it's facing the wrong way too huh we got us a rolled over mixer and it's facing the wrong way I guess we got to wait for them to get this that's obviously out of our scope but in the meantime we can start working our game plan since it's facing the wrong way I'm going to just attach to the cab and drag it and make it face the right way that way once it's upright Dave can tow it out of here with ease we won't have to shut the freeway down to do that well let's back up my truck then that allows us to both work it off the side against the center divider right here too the other option is to uh flip it first but the way the booster is and uh where that cement is we don't want to back up over it all right so I'll just walk out the boom and from here this is going to be a very good spot I'll be able to start off off my corner Lift It Up drag it to me as much as possible and then start rotating it to center it out of all the options we have it's the the fastest most efficient way and then from there we just back up Dave uh one in front of the other against the center [Music] divider huh us I'm not holding anything is that well they didn't stop it oh they stopped it for calr all right going [Music] in all we got to do is close this booster more let go okay I got no tension now all right so Dave closed the booster using hul's deck wiench and I rig to the engine frame I'm going to rotate the Boom towards the guard rail go in with the the Highline first and then as it gets closer I'll use uh this one I got both lines activated Dave I'm going to start going in [Applause] like a glove check out how I went by the way on this side when I was first doing the pull I went on the frame right here the engine frame see if I can show that and avoided destroying all of this stuff there's only one spot on each end to do that all these hoses and lines and stuff is very easy to mess up when going to the engine frame for we'll stand on this side so you can see better I just rotate slightly boom up rotate [Music] up all right now that's good it's a lot better than before see the trick is to do it gradually now we got all this space to do it off the [Applause] side [Music] all right so I guess uh since this is hardened this thing's been here for a couple hours before we even got here they want to scoop this first with the the loader they have on scene so it's rock hard and they got the loader right there with the bucket once they give us the green light to continue I think uh I'm going to put my truck right here on the inside of the cone it' be a lot safer putting the truck here and bringing it to me I'm going to be horribly limited on [Applause] room that's what's [Music] [Music] up boom and then my truck goes there we push it over bito by the way check it out again how all of these hoses all of these boxes all the Plastics the bearings all the gaskets all the pipes everything is still intact high rod axle if I would have put the where the start like right there where the pump is the frame grab hook on this side it would have torn off all the stuff because of the angle and if I would have put it too far this way you got the tie rod right here and the cooling box everything the power steering box thank you [Applause] celr the front one could go out more just since I'm going a prep pick anyways there I always wanted as much as possible I'm going to juste pick it push it over and then I can really uh extend the platform you can't tell but I am fully connected going to make for a wicked wicked upright man I'm using all synthetics as it comes over let me get on that side and you'll see what I'm doing really quick all right we'll be siging on my side for a better uh Vantage Point as always no room for air [Applause] [Music] [Applause] here is I hear an air leak let me see what's up with Dave okay all is well en roll Overland you know what that means continue now I can feel it getting to the point where it's almost all catch as my auxiliary lines start tightening up faster and faster that means I'm about there uh extend out now we just boom up very slowly to kind of make the tires come closer to me just like that not too much all right now back to uh lifting now I'm all catch [Music] perfect oh man well I was hoping uh Dave would would swing the front over too but this is fine now this is what I wanted to show you so I went on the underside of the frame with the 5H chain and then I'm running dual 15 foot Bailey slings connected via my chain clutch and uh a web shackle container link and then the kicker is how I have them connected in the middle so they don't slide out a shackle on each end with the container sling doubled up that's six footer is rated at 32,000 in the basket but that's in the lifting configuration but in this way there's no way it would have ripped open so that's what kept the lines nice and tight on these mixers they tend to come out and spread out and then of course the catch couldn't have been more perfect Bailey's Platinum 10-footer I went on the inside right here cuz if I went where I originally wanted to it would have hit this ladder same thing on this and went on the inside of this hose so as it comes over there's no ripped hoses is there's no RI to anything just the damage from the uh initial rollover the good thing about Dave having it in the front is he could just pick it up and put it right on his underlift all right there going to be a real easy short video I just put all my rigging [Music] away that way I could pull Hulk out of the way maybe they can uh either open up a
