liked this year and which one was my favorite I disagree I think some of the ones you mentioned already are good ones so what's going you do you have have yours in your head I do okay so I'm going to say mine and you're going to distract no say your say your top three games of the year and I'll say mine um top three yeah why not top three uh game of the year goes to Q remastered wow and I guess torch light infinite technically came out and you think Tor light infinite is one of the like best games of the year yeah okay if if we're going on releases of like actual it came out releases distract can I get a distraction no no you that doesn't interesting to me a lot of really good games came out this year that I feel like I don't even remember a lot of them and I didn't play a lot of them like I didn't play Boulders gate so I can't come out and say like the obvious oh was Boulders it was Boulders gate everyone yeah I'm in that bow too I balers Gate 3 was I mean I know it's it's so good it's so amazing there's so much to do but it's just such a big game I have not gotten to it yet OE and I played it for like I want to say six to seven total hours maybe so we just barely started maybe 10 hours total I played 10 minutes you think we're going DC news for elen ring you can't just skip ahead and you just and Chica I wish I could be at two at once but the last time I I sparked a pretty SI experimental lab what's the third one I feel like I was fighting with the third one res evil they Omega lulling I don't care you can Omega L all you want did you finish armored Core I did not I think I kind of need to say I it has to be a game that I've completed I can't like you it can't be like a balers gate scenario I didn't complete armored Core what what wasn't uh Zelda last year or am I like that far gone uh no tears of the kingdom was this year that was not that was like a few months ago but three or four months ago no so it wasn't was it longer than that there's no way yeah it was like four months ago I need to see the nominees is my life all right I I have a little bit of an issue with the Persona franchise can I tell you what it is uh sure here's the only here's my only complaint with this franchise I'm just going to give it to you m um I feel like I would really like this game but I don't know which one to start with because there's like Persona 5 Persona 5 let's go Persona 5 rockout Edition Persona 5 walk around the town game which one what what's the one what do I play what should I play they only uh Persona 4 Arena Persona 4 Arena is the one you think I should start with yeah I think that CS right into the story very quickly cuz I feel like I the game the gameplay to me looks really fun the gameplay looks interesting to me don't start with don't I remember you playing one in no I think no I don't I remember Persona 3 coming out that was a very long time ago and I was like oh this game looks interesting I guess I won't ever play it yeah I feel like I'm remembering a Persona 3 stream you did like 10 years ago one time giv no long no no I never played it on stream or on video or anything okay what was that that was like a okay like I don't you know the the blaze blue series I thought that there was only one game this whole time and I was playing they have a rogue like now and my chat was telling me that all the blaze Blues are actually different games and it blew my mind like there's there's like 70 versions there's centralfiction there's all these weird names and I thought because they use the same Sprites and animations a lot of the time so I thought they were all the same game hey hold on a second Dave the divver hold on I'm a fan of this one I'm sorry you never heard of you never did you play Dave the DI I did not I've heard good things it's very fun it's very fun if you like collecting and upgrading stuff which I do hard to hear did you play all the excitement but have to keep I think you would really enjoy dge it's a story about a world very different from ours it is a world where all people are equal and no conflict exists much like the world no conflict my games have to have constant conflict a fantasy I think it's about to happen what are we getting Kingdom Hearts 4 wait no that was I was not a joke it's it's another Persona game I can't keep track what the [ __ ] am I talking about hey wait can you buy cures in this game can you buy um can you buy healing potions no fuckinge is that where you draw the line now let's see what story like that's where I'm just like you know what not interested Neil Newar yeah it was great four and a half minutes that he's been in my campaign actually here's a little bit of a tidbit for those of you uh in Holly and I's playthrough I had a gnome Mage or it 202 I don't know I don't I I mean Rockstar has a lot of pressure with this game from software just had their kind of um their like Pinnacle moment where so Elden ring comes out and Elden ring really let's be honest is a culmination I think of every really every from software game that got him to that point to be a monster studio and Elden ring was this huge crazy [ __ ] experience probably one of the best games I've ever played and Al Rockstar right now I think is in their Pinnacle of what they have released in their entire franchise all the franchises everything they've ever made it all kind of leads up to right now it's another Pinnacle moment for a studio why why don't you feel like that's like GTA 4 well because when a GTA game comes out it usually is the Pinnacle of whatever generation we're currently so you're saying that basically every game they release is the Pinnacle the exactly and I think what can be concerning people a lot which I mean I'm not doesn't concern me because obviously I think the game's going to be fun but hitting that point where what else can they possibly do to make this another pinnical [ __ ] moment in video game history and do they execute on that that's why they there's a lot of pressure on it right now um because like Elden ring it's like oh here comes Elden ring by the way everybody you all loved Demon Souls Dark Souls Dark Souls 2 dark souls 3 we got armored Core to but like hey by the way Elden ring is like the ultimate video game in this genre that you've ever played I feel like GTA 6 is going to be that too I I maybe it's but I don't see the correlation to Elden ring because Elden because GTA Rock that's their Pinnacle game that's like the thing that everybody waits for for every generation is a is a new GTA game I've got a friend uh he likes lifting weights he likes going to the gym he's kind of a mead uh he got his friend told him oh get Elden El best game uh he couldn't beat the tutorial that you drop down into uh I I don't know if it's like the full complete comparison to the amount of people that are interested in GTA no but it's I'm talking about like the studios's work like the work of the actual Studio Elden ring was the biggest thing that they had ever done GTA 6 is it's it's turning into another this is the biggest thing that's ever happened in video games Rockstar has been and from software have been two of the reliable companies that give us generation worthy releases you get it now like generational I've got I I have understood I just think that and GTA 6 and if GTA 6 is not that we might be in a new age of video gaming something else has to come and do it if they cyber Punk it that's what I mean like it if it's if it's if GTA 6 is not going to be a generational [ __ ] video game what if it's not right and something else is going to have to be that and do that soon did you like that Lego game they just show kind of perance did you see it you guys are just yapping yeah I wanted to faces in LA Noir here so this is space game 2 and that's not the only thing it has it's obviously like a sequel to A really popular really great game but I mean that this is the shadow will always hang on the face it's the face game tonight's nominees for best narrative got us all in their drama in their characters and yes sometimes in some weird stuff we can't explain here are the nominees best narrative in a horror story they're only victims and monsters black it blesses me this day together we might survive be that right and the award goes to alen wake 2 oh damn Alan Wake 2 not balers gate holy [ __ ] it's max pay I heard Alan Wake 2 was real like exceptional so I don't really know much about it I played the first one that's all I really know Wonderful actors and and the song know for uh here we go tell us a bit about it SE uh well for No Man's Sky we generated a whole universe of kind of sparse alien looking planets and that wasn't easy you know it was hard but there is something that's much harder that we wanted to do uh for our new game we wanted to create create an earth um you know something as varied a planet that is as varied as a universe something bigger than Earth something with you know mountains real mountains not video game mountains but mountains that are Miles High taller than Everest that when you climb to the top of them and look out you can see rivers and canyons and continents you know you can see think he's God so is just like an open world let him cook for a little bit yeah I mean the first real open world right something without boundaries uh and we're going to let everyone play in it together it's you know a place where people can live out their sort of adventures together well we can't wait to uh take a look at it we we have anything tonight or future or yeah so so we have a trailer um and you know it's quite a small team that's working on us it's we're we're very excited to share this you been talking about this one singer and my character just I had a one move on my bar that was me going like it was a whistle and it like gave people a buff but I couldn't touch I couldn't hurt anybody I couldn't do anything so I was like why am I playing this same experience but it was with the Final Fantasy dress spheres I just like didn't get it like and you you have to build a character from the very beginning I was like yeah Bard I'll take the singing spell of course I will and then I stopped playing cuz I was like this is not fun I I can't do anything I'm like whistling and other people are playing the game but now I get it now I understand like the RPG genre I didn't you know 20 30 years ago when did neverone nights come out like 10 12 years ago probably 40 but I get it now I I understand it now one of those things you know like when you when you first try a from software game and this might not be to a lot of you younger people that have obviously played them but back in the day s do you remember you remember playing Dark Souls or demon souls for the first time and going this game sucks I'm never playing this again this is stupid uh no I don't I don't because I liked it okay I when I first played Dark Souls I was like this this is ter this is awful people why do people like this like it's I don't get it I'm supposed to be like able to ha it's it's a hack and slasher man why is it I the monster killed me in two hits this game's not fun you have to get it first you have to understand it do you think you could launch the rocket in factorio I don't think I could launch the game factorio so no have you play fact that'd be rough uh I Factoria is one of those games where I've decided that if I enter the world I do not like how much time I may spend in it and I want to avoid it oh so you're you're avoiding it out of fear of of addiction I I think it might get me in a way that I will not like I need a game with four buttons and and health potions and I'm good you have up down left right and health potion yeah I'm just saying you you give me directional you give me attack Dodge or block and map and I'm telling you I will destroy that game you must build a boat that game was actually over this because this is truly a great experience um 10 million is a game you can get it on Steam you can get it on I think iOS too uh just go get 10 million the name of the game is 10 million it's might be like 16 megabytes just two Boomers talking no you remember the good old days I do the the original Nintendo Sim City one I remember uh what was the name of the game didn't build buildings they were just squares you need City skylines you need $800 DLC now for us it was squares and it was ours on the Square for residential here do you remember Sim toown the thing that predated all of them with the burger Sim toown was weird Sim toown was very weird I feel like that's a that's a game to stream that is just bizarre I would okay when I was younger I just never understood the the concept of profit net profit revenue and expenses so I was look at the financial sheet of whether it's Sim City or uh any Tycoon type game and I just would take the maximum amount of loan you could take from the bank because I just didn't get it it was like wait there's just money here I wait I can I can just take out like $500,000 I just going to give it to me it's like a cheat code I'll take it and I would fail every time because I'd be like what's happening I just I remember doing that same thing but then instead of building a city placing the blocks to make a maze and then like like that was it it wasn't even a town there were no roads it was just yeah that's back in my day when we had real games but they would show the final easy games like Dark Souls through the financial screen everything would be just bright red with a negative symbol next to it I'm just like I think I'm doing a good job I'm running this park very well what do you mean I'm negative $400,000 what are you talking about I just never understood the concept I was like 11 they need to teach Financial [ __ ] literacy in schools okay I didn't I didn't know anything if you go to another country you don't got to pay it back they didn't teach you negative numbers at 11 no dude I'm talking about the the concept of like net profit for a business is something that an 11-year-old doesn't understand oh don't tell you that I would put Smite and I know everybody holy [ __ ] dude really I would put Smite on some of my favorite games of all time I would 2014 to like 2017 Smite is one of my favorite experiences hanging out and just playing games with people hanging out with friends just messing around q&s parties however you feel about how that game is I had a bunch of great fun experiences just playing games with friends that experience was only it was very unique to Smite because I wasn't a fan of mobas either because I didn't like the top down click to move um sort of slightly delayed where it's like I click here and it takes like a half second and then they move oh that drives me [ __ ] crazy I hate that I feel like I have input delay um it appears you've been in your by yourself
