if you want to learn how to do slow motion with a cap cut PC like this then this video will teach you how frame by frame and I'm going to show you two methods on adding slow motion to your media and we're getting started right now so firstly what you would like to do is open cap cut and start a new project then you want to head over and import the media that you would like to use to add slow motion to now let's add this to our timeline by clicking and dragging or you can click on the blue little plus icon once your media is added let's head up to the property section and click on speed this is where we are going to adjust the slow motion as you can see there are two values you can edit under the times if you move it to the right side you will speed up your video if you move it back to the left you will slow down your video or you can adjust the time value to make your video slower if you only want your video to be 10 or 20 seconds long you can then adjust the duration value to fit your project let's put it on 0 .5 once you adjust the scale and set it to move slower then you will see a new tab appears smooth slowmo if there is something specific you would like to learn with en capap cut leave a comment down below once you click on that you can see there's two options frame blending and Optical flow frame blending is when the AI tries to blend the frames together for a smoother look to the slowmo an optical flow is when the AI actually add frames to make it look better you can play around with these two options to fit your project for this tutorial I'm not going to use this now we added slow motion to our entire project but what if we want to add it only to a section of the clip let's put this back onto normal speed as you can see at the top you have another option curve if you would like to enjoy 7 days free of cap Cut Pro download from the link in the description it is 100% for free here you can see there's seven different options of adding curves to your media for this tutorial I'm going to be using the customized setting as you can see a new box appears the white line indicates the normal speed of the video above the line you will increase the speed and underneath the line is of course the slow-mo this is where you can adjust the slow-mo we are going to find a place in the media where we can slow it down to do that you just click and drag around so you can move the play head around and in real time see your media playing now I want to add slow-mo to where she throws the snow so let's add a new Point by clicking this plus icon right here and find the part where you want the slow mode to stop let's say right there and we add another point now you can play around with having a different slow motion effect for this tutorial I'm just going to click and drag the right side of the first point down and as you can see it creates a spike you can see the smooth slow-mo appears here again let's play and see what we created right now the second point I'm going to drag down as well the left side and increase the duration of the slow-mo if you enjoyed this tutorial on how to add slow motion to your media smash the like button and remember to subscribe while you're busy doing that go watch this video on how to reverse a video with in capcut or go view our playlist and remember to visit our channel for more tutorials till next time happy editing
