Canteen cup Tuesday Dollar General

hello everybody this is Casey was survival creature and it's a little cold today little windy Soph the wind's blowing too hard don't just ignore it but I want to do my very first canteen cup Tuesday so got all my stuff out here as soon as I get set up be right back we'll show you what we're gonna do okay I don't know if you can see that gasifying down in there or not but man that's doing a real good job but just a few sticks I throw it in there and I did bring me some wood pellets I put in the bottom of there so we're gonna get started I'm going to show you what I got here I'm kind of happy I set on the ground because the bottom of that stove gets pretty hot and I didn't want to burn up a picnic table but so I set it on this concrete sidewalk and so there's the stove there's my canteen cup I got some bacon bits I got some bushes original baked beans I got some hot and spicy Vienna sausages and I got some bread hot Franks red hot sauce so we're going to put this all together get it in the canteen cup cut these up now I'm gonna get them in the pan and I'm gonna get the beans in there the bacon bits in there I'm not gonna need no spices cuz everything's already spiced up for me no salt no pepper I'm not much of a salt person anyway you all know that and get this all in the canteen cup get it cooked up don't really need cook just needs heated through because it's already cooked and then we'll will show you this on the fire be back with you in just a minute okay there it is sitting on the left side of stove never had a chance to try out this leg saw the stove but I'll tell you what that thing is really working good and I tried it out with a alcohol stove one day put down in it but I just picked nips and sticks around here and I brought a few little wood chips you know the wood pellets like using a my smoker and I wanted to see today what I could get from the dollar store Dollar General to make a canteen cup Tuesday and this is what I come up with now since I seen you last I didn't have enough liquid in there so I did put a beef bouillon cube in there and added a little bit of water to it so it's gonna be a little beefy too so let this get to a boil it's already starting to steam we'll let this get to a boil and then we'll get back with you hey it's still it going good and it's got going what we would call in the old days back of my grandma was little girl Tim little bubbles they call that a half a bubble so it's not at a roiling boil yet it's at what they call a half a bubble the old cooks called a half a bubble bring it up to a half a bubble they used to say that's what we got going on there this getting right get really hot here it starts to boil and I'm gonna let it hey it's getting harder when it starts to boil in here I'm gonna let it cook down a little bit because I did add a little bit of water added a beef bouillon cube Haddad arrested up bacon bits because you know bacon makes everything better and I'll have to taste it I might want to put in some more that Frank's hot sauce so we get back here in just a little bit for the taste test okay we're at a pretty rapid boil now a couple minutes of that and I'll be ready to eat it I did something here today that I don't normally do I held my camera in my hand but with all this wind to blow and everything going on I just seemed like the thing to do so we'll be back in a little bit with just a taste test here I want to move that off the fire for a minute to show you something look at that how that's gasifying man that's a good little stove I'm glad this is the one I picked up and brought to the park with me today because it's really cold out here and the wind's blowing really good and it's kind of like sitting by a campfire using this thing we'll be back in just a little bit okay here we go in for the taste test like I said I got Bush's baked beans in here hot and spicy Vienna sausages bacon I got a bouillon cube a little bit of water and Frank's hot sauce then bacon bits man that let's go let's give it a shot man that's hot but I'll tell you why I wanted to go see at the Dollar General what I could get for a canteen cup Tuesday and I tell you what make us a little bit better just a little bit of rice in there a little bit of rice I'd be really good but it's it's good the way it is makes a nice lunch even got me a Gatorade go check Matt out Florida boy survival he'd be down the description god bless have a great day [Music]
