Canada's Most beautiful Road Trip (Banff to Vancouver)

what's up guys welcome back to the channel welcome if you guys are new here I'm Max this is Zoe and in today's video we are embarking on probably the most beautiful road trip here in Canada we're gonna be showing you guys all of the best photography spots this might be our most beautiful video yet so I'm super excited to share this with you guys we start off the video in band heading to Lake Louise at let's get into the video [Music] okay we are five minutes away from Lake Louise time to see if this parking lot is full this time it better not be because we woke up so early thank you [Music] oh I don't think we can't purchase a park pass because it only opens at nine and it's 7 40. so we can't buy park pass so hopefully we don't get a ticket for that time to park there's actually quite a bit of people here holy oh these people also look out for Sunrise crazy nuts I think it's gonna be pretty great sunrise [Music] [Music] foreign shooting here this has been beautiful Lake Louise is harder to shoot than you imagine I know people would assume since it's one of the most beautiful places on Earth it's really easy to shoot but in terms of angles right focal length and everything it can get a little bit confusing hopefully we did a good job I think we definitely got lucky this morning with this amazing weather considering how stormy it was last night yeah we also got lucky because we found a bomb spot both times I've been to Lake Louise I've been here for like five minutes we've been here probably like 10 minutes anyways let's get back to the car I'm cool take a check no ticket today's a good day okay we are on the road again we are going again we are going to a lake called Emerald Lake Max says that he loved this place when he was a kid so I'm really excited to see it Petro Canada uses it as their little intro picture just said that we should go to Emerald Lake and then we pull into Petro Canada and sure enough their advertisement but like so it's a sign it is it's really a sign [Music] thank you [Applause] foreign we have arrived at Emerald Lake I'm just having a little bit of a sweater change and I have to put my shoes back on but Max is shooting some b-roll right now all done let's go find Max oh I got Max this from Canadian Tire [Music] oh it's so cold [Music] foreign [Music] I've come down to another little spot here on the side of the lake I've set up a little time lapse which I'm sure you are now seeing right now it is beautiful this morning [Music] back to the car I hope Zoe has it all warm for me foreign [Music] so we've now made a little detour out from Emerald Lake to something called takak a the kakawa waterfall uh we don't know how to say it we don't know how to say it properly it's been on my mat for a really really long time and it's supposedly super beautiful this should be the perfect time of day to shoot it I believe as well Zoe's got a meeting in like an hour and a half so we have to make sure we're out of the mountains by then and back in service oh yeah I'm glad someone's remembering [Music] foreign [Music] we're both dyslexic so forgive so we're gonna drive a little bit closer to it we got a little view of it from the road and it is massive it's like the whole size of a mountain this is like something out of Norway really it's I was not expecting this look at that waterfall [Music] we made it to this little Bridge spot here it is absolutely gorgeous there's a beautiful River going by it looks like super blue with the waterfall in the background as I'm sure you can see right now we've been taking a bunch of photos how's it our batteries keep dying because it's so cold it is very cold admittedly it's very cold uh I can see fresh snow on the top of these Rockies up in the distance here this is a must-do stop if you're going on this road trip [Music] [Music] okay we're all done we're continuing the trend of only spending like 15 minutes and wherever we're going because we're kind of in a rush we want to see as much as possible in one yeah this trip was supposed to be a lot longer than what it's been cut short to this is like a little sampler trip a little sampler and it's a great trip to show you guys what you guys could do with a couple days on the roads here in BC and Alberta plans are already not going to plan we're about what 45 minutes from where we came from this morning and now apparently we just found out that this road that we're gonna take just closed 30 minutes ago until Christmas this road is closed for like three months as of 30 minutes before we're about to get there yeah so we're some not happy campers right now finally got some food in us so hopefully we'll be a bit more energetic it's been a long drive it's been a long drive and we're like halfway there and uh we would have been long past where we're trying to get to if that road didn't close yeah yeah anyway we're gonna eat our Subway get our spirits lifted and then we'll come back all right guys I have done my nap and we are officially five minutes away from Revelstoke which is where we are sleeping the night tonight on our Overlander I found this good spot near the river so I think we might sleep by the river but it also says the water goes up really high very fast because of the dam intermission beautiful baby I've been staring without blinking at the road for like 11 hours max has been such a great driver um okay unfortunately I can't drive this trip because until I change my driver's license to be a British Columbia license I can't drive the car oh we're officially in we're officially in Revelstoke we're here we're here I am Revel stoked Rebel Stoke we are almost at a river campsite but it is very bumpy switching into four-wheel drive the van did not have four wheel drive so this is a luxury whoa that's pretty steep do you want to go down it or no [Music] we're so close it's just right there oh look at that that's so pretty worth it as long as we can get out it was worth it wow look at this spot look how blue that water is it's pretty blue that's pretty blue and do you guys want to know the best part about this spot three bars of service a 5G so we can work I'm gonna clean the car a bit I started cleaning the front part but I'm gonna clean the back part [Music] I'm just finishing up some work on my phone while also cooking some ramen noodles I am extremely tired after a long day and I'm looking forward to just getting into bed anyways we'll see you guys tomorrow morning I really want food but I don't want oatmeal I want a bagel I brought oatmeal on this trip like a week ago and every day we I haven't ate the oatmeal I just love Bagels guys I want a bagel look at this beautiful view though look at that view we lost the keys we just found them yay [Music] everything gets really lost in the car I feel like the van was way better organized so that's what I miss about the van living in the car is definitely there's like there's no drawers there's no closets yeah definitely the van gets a point for that now it's time to see if we'll actually make it back up that road from yesterday [Music] Max says something smells funny what smells funny it's not us it's not us yeah it's one of the trucks I just want to make sure I do actually smell something what it's you you stinks [Music] we are officially five minutes away from our destination we are seeing my best friend Emily and I'm so excited I haven't seen her since I think my 12th grade prom yeah I was gonna go see her and then Cove it happened and then we just haven't seen each other in so long but we've been friends since we were like seven so I'm super super excited hello oh my god oh I'm wearing a different outfit and that's because it's been like three days and now we are continuing our drive back to Vancouver but we're not going home quite yet we're spending another night in the van so we took a little break up the side of the road where this rest stop was and look how gorgeous this place is it really feels like Northern California or like Colorado but yeah this is a beautiful drive I'm glad we took slightly longer but more Scenic group and if you're from Canada you know that there's always pictures online of this one like horseshoe shaped road we think we might have just drove past it I might finally be able to get my horseshoe photo so it appears you have to take what I'm assuming is like a little 10 minute hike might even be less but it's so pretty come take a look at [Applause] this that's crazy this is a pretty cool view though you can see why it's kind of famous look at that beautiful [Music] is it as magical as you thought it is actually it's actually more magical than I thought also I busted my hand on the tree taking this video hurts and it's covered with sap too all done with this spot we're broken hungry tired hot All the Above bye bye iconic Lululemon symbol I just realized she's wearing Lulu top and bottom but you have to to go the iconic illusion yeah I guess so anyways we're heading back down we'll see you back on the road [Music] foreign [Music] we've made it to uh Squamish I had a little napsi on the road we were at mags 99 which is a Squamish tradition a specialty music that's what word I was looking for so we're gonna try it for the first time because Max hasn't tried it I haven't tried it and I want another burrito thank you so much got the goods and with that I think her trip is kind of over we've made it back to Vancouver well Squamish we've got an event here tomorrow morning our first row
