Can a Trackmania Pro beat 3 beginners by only driving backwards? feat. Ludwig

so a few weeks ago something very interesting happened i was on youtube watching one of ludwig's bros vs pros videos where he challenged a professional rocket league player to a one versus three match and watching the video i thought to myself wouldn't it be interesting to see how beginner players would do versus a pro player in track mania so i decided to challenge ludwig to a bros vs pro's track mania match some might say but virtual you aren't a trackmania pro and to that i only have to say me and my seven dollars in tournament earnings say otherwise anyways i sent ludwig a shot in the dark message on twitter inviting him and his friends atrock and stance to face off versus me in track mania and to my surprise i got a response he was up for the challenge after discussing the format a bit this is what we came up with in order to make the match fair they could all drive forwards but i had to drive backwards as driving backwards in trackmania is very slow acceleration wise but on tracks that have a lot of dirt and grass it is decently fast and it would make the match very interesting the format was a best-of-five match in live races everyone starts at the same time and the player who crosses the finish line first wins and scores a point for their team and the first team to reach five points wins the map i didn't really know what to expect from their level attract mania going into it but after a few weeks of eagerly waiting it was now finally time to answer the question can a trackmania pro beat three beginners by only driving backwards well just before we begin i would really appreciate it if you would subscribe to the channel it helps me out a lot and it lets you know when more of my videos are coming out but now it's time to finally answer the question so let's get into the match i actually prefer backwards because then i can kind of have a little bit time to see where i'm going all right you're following me are we in it this is it yeah this is it yeah okay yeah okay so this is we only get one shot yeah i can't reset so aatrix already decided to go backwards which is okay wartrol is going backwards here it is a play for sure he's going so fast backwards i hit the wall okay it's just me it's me i got this he's going so unbelievably fast i want you to know that he blew by me backwards faster than i could even believe sandy i am watching it he is quick with it the first downhiller really decides to race for me because i only carry that speed throughout the entire thing it's like if i don't have good speed here like this ramp right now if i'm at good speed here i'm kind of screwed and so right now what are you feeling uh he's got an amazing speed oh my god what the [ __ ] what is this it's like i got it pretty good now so uh yeah you got it pretty good yeah it looks pretty good [ __ ] yeah that's a good wall for me there it is so should we go higher up on this ramp is that how you got more speed i just get speed by going backwards like when you go backwards in this game when you slide the car just gives you a ton of speeds like this ramp is uh is great for me so it's a battery speed runner all the time well like it's it's not really an advantage you can drive it faster forwards but it's like drivable oh i'm hitting every wall voice okay i finished the first three no no no i had it i choked you guys are so ready because i'm gonna oh i was in the lead boys i choked i didn't realize there was a wall there i've hit it every round two damn i wasn't far off too yeah that was comfortable all right easy he's doing norwegian sarcasm that's impossible to detect for americans did he pass me already started 20 seconds late you got to go i'm hitting walls nah you got this i got this guy no sanchez so much [Laughter] gentlemen right now he's at four and it is first of all five lying in the sand baby he doesn't get any more lying in the sand we draw here why are you guys always starting the game faster than me that's not a good start he's holding a i'm not trying to time it the problem is a little bit he comes out of nowhere right about here watch yeah you're gonna see the [ __ ] purple venice he hasn't passed me small technical problem uh i got so much speed that i jumped so i lost he's out all right all right all right all right on the board on the board it should count as two because two pros one true is that him or is that you guys can't talk it's probably him uh you'll you'll see me oh i'm not gonna see you yeah no he's right in front of me he just finished i know i know but i'm about to beat him this series built home for over a decade i am in last he's just like a mile ahead of us yeah he's moving way faster than me if he gets the boost he moves quick it's just hard to figure out he crashed he crashed backwards backwards please but this is going to be tough oh thank you i can't get through this section or is it oh okay i finally got this oh he's gonna beat me he's gonna be close yeah the backwards the backward speed oh he's coming on to the last round though it's the wall hit the wall four four final knife how do you do this let's go okay okay i want to do it for the team oh i clipped you guys are doing really well damn you've smoked me coming out of that turn no oh hit something shut something oh my god i was so close i played the laugh of my life wait so yeah there you have it in the end i won the match three to two but if they hadn't given me two rounds forwards then i likely would have lost the final tracks though at the end of the day perhaps the true winners wasn't the pros or the bros but all of us for having fun and track mania together and also you the viewers who maybe enjoyed the video all in all i had a great time playing trackmania with ludwig adrock and stance so i'd
