Can a Christian continue to live in sin
and go to heaven? It's a very very, very important question, because we live in a
world that is full of lukewarm Christians and Christians who live the
way that they want to because they just think all right God is just love and
that they are saved through God's grace, which is kind of true, but they feel that
they can sin as much as they want to and still go to heaven. Is that true? Can a Christian really live in sin and still go to heaven? Well that's what we're
going to look at in this video. Let's get to it. Now just very quick, if it's your first
time here on my channel, I'm Daniel and welcome to DLM Christian lifestyle.

any of the next videos. Now the main reason why most Christians ask this
question is because they don't want to give up, certain sins, they don't want to
fully turn away from their sinful lifestyle towards God and this is the
real root of the problem but the Word of God is very very clear Paul says in 1
Corinthians 6 : 9. "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit
the kingdom of God, do not be deceived neither fornicators nor idolaters nor
adulterers nor homosexuals nor sodomites nor thieves nor covetous nor drunkards
nor revilers nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God."
So it is very clear and we should not try to change the Bible according to our
lifestyle, but we should change our lifestyle according to the Bible. If
we study the Bible we can clearly see that there's a big difference between
living in sin and not caring about it and sinning sometimes as a Christian and
asking God to forgive us. As a true Christian you have received a new
spiritual nature on the day he became a Christian when you've been justified by
God and now this new spiritual nature does not want to sin against God and the
Holy Spirit inside of you will also convict you of sin. It is impossible
for a reborn Christian to continue to live in sin, but listen to this because
this is very important, it is possible to sin at times even if you don't want to,
because you still live in this sinful world and you still have a sinful nature
a fleshly nature that will always fight with our new spiritual nature so you got
to learn how to live through the spiritual nature and not
through your fleshly old nature. Galatians 5 : 16-17 says: "Walk in
the spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh for the flesh lusts
against the spirit and the spirit against the flesh and these are contrary
to one another so that you do not do the things that
you wish but if you are led by the spirit you are not under the law. If
you say that you are a Christian, but you continue to live in sin, without feeling
any guilt or any conflict then you are probably not a real Christian and you
will not go to heaven because you've not changed at all you have never been
reborn. If you are a true Christian you are a new man, a new women; you have
received a whole new nature; you have a new spiritual nature that bears new
fruit and is ultimately a whole new life. 2 Corinthians 5 :17 says: "Therefore
if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation; old things have passed away,
behold all things have become new. It is also your responsibility to learn
what this whole new spiritual nature is all about and to grow spiritually in
Christ Ephesians 4: 22-24 says "that you put off, considering your former
conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts." Very
important, listen to this: "be renewed in the spirit of your mind and that you
put on the new man which was created according to God in true righteousness
and holiness." Some people say: "Well God loves me as I am" Well yes, He does love
you as you are, but he doesn't love your sin. Let's look at what Paul says in
Romans 6 :1 "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin
that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? You can go and read this whole chapter in your own time but let's keep
a little bit to verse 11 (Romans 6:11) "Likewise you also reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord." Listen to this. "therefore do
not let sin reign in your mortal body that you should obey in its lusts. It is very clear! The real question for you should not be: Can we continue to
live in sin and still go to heaven? It should be: What is a true Christian? Am I
a true Christian? Because a real reborn Christian has been spiritually reborn
and will obey God. Not because they feel like they have to, but because they want
to. 1 John 2:3 "Now by this we know that we know him, if we keep his
commandments. He who says I know him, and does not keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps his word, truly the love of God is
perfected in him; by this we know that we are in him. And he who says he abides in
him, ought himself also to walk just as he walked." You are only a true
Christian if you follow God's Word. Faith without works means nothing and works
without faith means nothing. These two always work together James 2 :14-26 explains this fully but he finishes the whole chapter verse 26 by saying "For
as the body without the Spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." Alright, so the Bible is very very clear and I believe it answers
your question. But the real question should be am I a
real Christian and if you're unsure then there's something wrong with your
relationship with God, and you should make sure if you are a real reborn
Christian. And if you don't know what it is then check out this video and it's
gonna help you out and I'll see you there. Now remember God loves you and I love you too bye.
