[Applause] [Music] chat now you're gonna scream hell I like it even better than Halo infinite foreign look Call of Duty not only duties as it always does but it's ground war mode gives me that Battlefield scratch that I desperately needed to itch and it was done well main battle tank Here Comes two tank two tanks [Music] three tanks [ __ ] it I can do it got one I'm here thank you nice question oh my God the music's going now [Laughter] it's super fun now we're back up to nine territories it's fun to defend against the whole map Call of Duty is doing Battlefield better than Battlefield yeah he's yeah he's the flank there at the end how is Modern Warfare more fun than Battlefield I know right this is it's crazy nice really [ __ ] up this year now sure Call of Duty doesn't reinvent the wheel or innovate too much but what this year's does do is it adds insane value and it gives you that Blockbuster element like that's how you get things done the American way [ __ ] yeah sniper [ __ ] good job kilo let me try to convey the sheer amount of content modes and effort here bang for your buck there are 15 maps at launch 12 unique modes a new third person view and over 50 guns you're gonna find something that you like it's even got a co-op spec ops mode with three stealth missions that me and Joe are just terrible at wait wait oh [ __ ] there's two guys we didn't see it no behind you why are they shooting at their what though oh behind me God damn it I don't think we're gonna make it get in the [ __ ] gas station oh God damn it the same [ __ ] thing go down see see put your cursor on it see if it says you can hack it oh the heck that red bar don't you damn it I'm confident [ __ ] covert op team ever the enemy's like you keep hearing bombs hi dude with more spec ops raids coming in December that adds a third co-op player combine all this [ __ ] with the fact that I just want to play more right now to try more guns and stuff out that that you gotta hit on your hands plus later on we're getting war zone two the Battle Royale and a new DMZ mode which is supposed to be Activision's answer to tarkov times are good for Call of Duty you know who have basically extended their arms to all disaffected Battlefield and and Halo players which include me don't let me die your brothers I'm sorry [Music] the single player campaign is trying and it's pretty good for it yes the story of Call of Duty is dumb it's almost always dumb oh [ __ ] it's the mobs get the mafia sorry this story I need your cruises the Triads are meeting the mafia who met the Mexican cartel who then talked to the afghanis who then talked to the Iraqis who then mentioned something to the Iranians who gave that information to the Russians But ultimately they it was the North Koreans and the choose your own dialogue bits in a player campaign they're mostly superficial who attacked us the cartel it was the cartel you sure of this dead you won't die no with him we found the bodies they weren't from any cartel your information is worthless I'd love to see real branching choices next Infinity Ward that lead to different missions and multiple points that would make that campaign replayable but they aren't here what it does do well though is varying up the gameplay consistently through multiple different Mission types you got your standard Cod stuff you trigger finger though gun did you see that she did she have my [ __ ] assault rifle so it serves her right see if you go real fast then you know she's actually a bad guy [Music] I tricked you [ __ ] I told you I [ __ ] told you your night vision missions I'm a pretty woman China your stealth wands your sniper excursions yes well that means he found you find me God damn it you're wild Over the Top Call of Duty bits yeah oh come on oh [ __ ] what oh there's the Call of Duty thing that I know I was wondering oh you want me to okay uh you want me to play like this I don't know whose friend are called here your driving sections wow I didn't expect that holy [ __ ] crazy I probably shouldn't kill this guy right do it and of course the [ __ ] amazing AC-130 mission [Applause] he's a farmer he was trying to die I saw a weapon in his hand job yeah it was a hoe yeah now I'm gonna switch to 40. over oh two glorious ones this time because card knows how fun it is to just blow [ __ ] up [Applause] zero seven copy that Colonel Vargas what's the word nice this year's caught as [ __ ] fun I can't believe it but the sound design here has absolutely eclipsed the battlefield to become the master foreign and Now Call of Duty is the one did you hear all those whizzing bullets behind yeah these guys it's so [ __ ] cool every gun sounds so good and so authentic they all feel as if they have real impact there are no BB guns here right nice you brought one of his friends up foreign nice and did I already say 50 guns at launch let me remind you that Battlefield 2042 had 22 guns and infinite disappointment [Music] everything and there are so many favorites I love the M4 the hurricane that the power of the cast off good job team I'm really good with that MP5 I love how the fennel just shits bullets me I'm leveling me you see that all right paq 56 okay oh man you got that kill is this [ __ ] aesthetic man look at it is this spitting bullets [ __ ] I ran out of bullets I would have got that guy too I love even the lock man I managed to kick butt with the slow ass but powerful light machine guns like the Raw [ __ ] heavy machine gun there are so many more that I like and I cannot wait to play with and unlock and all of these [ __ ] things can be opened in the highly appreciated gunsmith with extensive customization attachments camo charms all tough sorts of [ __ ] you can't you can even [ __ ] tweak things on a [ __ ] grid this year even further this [ __ ] is crazy this invests me in the game a ton and as much as I hate this unlocking progression system where it forces me to use guns that I wouldn't otherwise use right I will admit it did teach me skills that I can transfer to the other guns and when I switch it up but more on that later right so you get to use all of these amazing guns across 12 [ __ ] modes the modes try to add something new I love the new prisoner rescue which makes for some amazing tight games and epic moments as you rush the target to to the point and you could just clutch a game just turn games right around if you're doing the objective and they even try to innovate with that third person mode and that GoPro cam style I love both of these I've got a prisoner headed a prisoner moving yeah [ __ ] damn Joe one man on me yeah like throw him into the circle just stay there I want it it's like it did it one-man Army now some hate the third person but I actually think it's a great addition and a variation to the formula more of this kind of innovation it's great and they're even evolving on the ground war front that they added last time right I love this new helicopter mechanic where like it well immediate if a team is behind it'll immediately fly helicopters to the back points so that to help facilitate ninja capping and going Behind Enemy Lines on missions it's awesome but I'd love to see them [ __ ] let's go even further let's go let's take over Battlefront right let's just [ __ ] Battlefield let's just [ __ ] put in Rush mode now is the time to capitalize right they did try some uh Innovation with Invasion but that Mode's really not for me it's a good farming mode as the Bots they add or just brain dead and easy to kill but you know I'd like to see more modes added to their ground war and uh and Invasion so I mean with that you have a ground war Invasion team death match domination prisoner rescue now uh knockout hard point Search and Destroy free for all headquarters control kill confirmed the value alone is insane and it's been confirmed they're adding nine more modes in free updates throughout the season reinforce Drop Zone gun game infected Uplink and yes the missing gun fight is coming back cranked trials rupture and they're gonna have ranks play and hardcore coming with the launch of season one and November 16th this [ __ ] is insane I am not sure any other military shooter can say they offer this many [ __ ] modes when all is said and done and you get all this over 16 Maps well 15 because the Museum map got pulled due to the copyright right issues from the actual Getty museum I guess they were pissed there's some complaints about the hotel map as well but they left that one in so but uh there's just some fantastic map design here yes it's [ __ ] annoying to be killed over and over by [ __ ] rooftop dwellers and ground war Cannon Brown building uh they're just root but every single roof they just parachute down to every single room he went right back why come on what God damn it what [ __ ] I was [ __ ] ridiculous oh [ __ ] I hit the [ __ ] reload button there's a nice five map rotation for my favorite mode groundwork there's Tarak serif Bay uh we are Joe or something like that Santa Sena and Saeed and you know even Santa Sena you know if that's the map that everybody complains about that's on that border crossing and it's tight with all the cores and cars and corridors you know to me I I like it I think it's a good change up for more open maps that I usually play on oh we're gonna got them all again if we didn't have a 20 round mag but I will say the exploding cars are [ __ ] and in six on six it kind of sucks that guy's got a sniper Rebel oh I hit him with the [ __ ] oh but he hit me I can't see what the vehicle can blow up oh I got that oh you just got that one for free you're just random he just randomly blowing up Vehicles he's like what I killed two ready in the area Target area enemy UAV active and while those are a lot of maps already so the value is there I do think that they should have thrown in some old Modern Warfare 2 maps I mean for a game that carries the [ __ ] name you could have made old school fans happy stuff like terminal high-rise Favela rust Etc but we already have confirmation that some of those are coming in free updates so the game is seriously going to go up in score and get better as time goes along but the reason why I like it so much now is because the gun play the gun play is superb it makes playing multiplayer a blast even with a shorter time to kill which I don't usually like but somehow I'm just fine with it here let's go and it continues to be an absolute Game Changer to edit your loadouts and even your perks during matches during game play allowing you to evolve with the match on what is needed this is so useful for ground war to get the RPGs and counter tanks and even when you're getting your ass kicked in six on six countering what the enemy do is doing on the Fly you're doing something right when the general gameplay is just so satisfying in this way at least for me oh [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] snake no bullets RPGs eat them yeah there's another guy over here foreign that's not to say that the game is without flaws or problems because despite a beta which is clearly not a [ __ ] beta since a lot of this [ __ ] is present there and it's still present here they haven't fixed it there are just constant crashes at launch day oh crash Handler ah see you got the crash Handler too yeah there we go so I'm gonna leave I think I might have to verify the game files this doesn't work again but I'm I'm hearing a lot of reports of crashes but I don't know why it's like just very frequent for me oh no the amount of crashes yes insane here oh I'm mom's question oh God damn it according to that stop oh come on I didn't touch anything well I tried to do prisoner rescue is is that it is is that literally it maybe uh but oddly on Battle.net I never really crashed like this they were on Steam but I have heard of people crashing on Steam Xbox PS5 and there was an Nvidia graphics card bug but um I did eventually have a crash when I kind of broke the server by laying down a mine now what the [ __ ] are you kidding me the car was right there did I crash the whole [ __ ] server like what the [ __ ] dude wow wow did you get a warning message I got that warning look at that Activision could land a [ __ ] launch day without problems it would be a lot better no way yeah it froze wow wait a minute didn't this happen the beta to you so with that big problem out of the way there's a huge problem to cover the [ __ ] interface it's [ __ ] terrible and you're like what like where is the continue like you have to use your mouse wheel to scroll down wait when have I ever had to use my mouse wheel to scroll down to see the menu to see the menu in a video game it is the worst interface I've ever seen in a Cod they literally hired TV Executives where is my [ __ ] TV remote they [ __ ] hired TV Executives to [ __ ] come up with the goddamn interface are you [ __ ] [ __ ] me and then the interface look at this stuff it's junk it's like a mobile like we're [ __ ] flipping through Hulu or something right where is the [ __ ] combat record you know the place that has I don't know all my [ __ ] cool cod stats over my history I can't find it can you help me find it because I can't find it uh there is an after action report but it's kind of a bit hidden um where's the [ __ ] XP timer you know you I spend in weapon XP token and there's no timer hello hello that ties I need a [ __ ] timer it ties into how long I use it before I use another one yeah I have it but I have no [ __ ] idea how to monitor if I'm using a double XP right now or not seriously it shows you how [ __ ] the interface is and why is it that we see a final kill at the end instead of best kill final kill is pointless it should be play of the game which it actually is still in just the kill confirmed mode but not in all the rest of the modes is something wrong feature your best plays at the end Cod and bring back some of the classic guitar riffs and announcers that gave that original game personality sometimes it gets a little too quiet here I was taking the truck foreign [Music] first try baby I think more talking some Call of Duty Nostalgia would be cool and now I know I'm gonna piss off the Cod faithful with this one but my next hot take is kill streaks and every mode is [ __ ] stupid what the [ __ ] is that yeah so one of the things that is that is pretty why are they allowing kill streaks in this game they've always done it it's the worst that doesn't make any sense yes we get that Cod rewards the best players with even better [ __ ] ways to kill more people it just creates an avalanche of Unstoppable momentum in matches that ruins comebacks sure in classic Cod I get it it's fun to use I even use them but in every [ __ ] mode like all 12 modes or 21 modes eventually no some modes do not [ __ ] warrant kill streaks yet they're all there it's like prisoner rescue right I'm carrying a prisoner and I get a shot by a [ __ ] jet at least give us the option to turn off kill streaks in some playlists and finally the last annoying thing or one of the last annoying things this year is in its fragrant progression so get this in order to unlock all M4 attachments you need to level and play with 34 different guns I counted them what the [ __ ] why are guns and attachments locked behind other guns that you may not wouldn't even want to even level right but you [ __ ] have to level to these uh to a high point to get the gun that you want to use and you have to then level certain other guns that you don't want to use to get the best attachments for the gun that you do want to use again it's all awful it just and the interface makes all the [ __ ] look even worse like I appreciate how everything is laid out like what you need to get but it just looks like a [ __ ] baby or a terrible graphic artist made this interface face it doesn't even fit on platform level 13 to get the cast off 70 for you what what is even what what is even this this is oh yeah that looks ready to ship it's completely out of the box what is this there's also some weird bits that need fixing like Reviving players with f but f is also the button where you drop your weapon and pick up somebody else's gun so if they die and you press F on them you end up picking up their weapon not Reviving them foreign you see how it made me switch to the guy's weapon Reviving with f and is annoying because it's also the button to switch with uh the pinging system I think it's broken you press alt and it seems wonky and consistent it doesn't work in ground war in a squad where I'm trying to be like all right all my guys to be Squad you know go to the D we need the D get the D I tell Joe I tell you all the time go get that D you know but but it doesn't [ __ ] work I can't I can't alt but in Spec Ops I can ping I can alt so it needs to work in in all modes pinging get rid of your [ __ ] ping let me get this guy okay speaking of that that spec ops mode it's fun though rather easy it needs some difficulty levels may be added uh but frankly it's not a replacement for a co-op campaign with friends I miss being able to play through the whole story mode with my buddies which at this point is what God is all about anyway right playing with friends shooting up bad guys drinking beers right you can even take um that that would be an Apache helicopter joke I'm gonna actually [ __ ] [ __ ] yo this is a problem we have a major problem I repeat don't get close to me at the same time major problem yo get in the [ __ ] house doing something right yeah he's down no he's not now there's a moment we'll remember I missed it I was inside Joe I thought you were shooting at it with me I was but then it was shooting at me so I ran inside that's what it's all about and so the final verdict for this year's Call of Duty surprisingly is an 8 out of ten this may be the highest rating I've ever given and honestly it could have easily been a nine or a freaking 10 out of 10 legendary with its insane value but the crashes that release some Activision's fault some nvidia's fault and the all activations full crap UI and frustrating progression takes a bit away from the final package however that insane value is just amazing and more coming means it's gonna get better from here I'm sure it can reach a nine or higher this is a game that I've always made fun of and I've always given a hard time to and it's really flourishing with Infinity Ward and I hope this continues keep innovating keep refining keep adding I cannot wait for war zone 2 and that new DMZ mode net until then I'll see you guys on the next Angry Joe show I can't [ __ ] believe it English Joe likes Call of Duty Call
