no triplets 15 full term pregnancies in 17 years yes you're mortified there was like no television in that part of australia people i'm telling you no television i'm like you ought to do something about that so i was sure before my mother-in-law went home to be with jesus um late last year i used to always go this is alpha and omega my mother-in-law never thought you were a real woman until your birth 10 and so i was like like her nightmare and i i come from good greek stock anyone seen my big fat greek wedding okay that is my big fat greek life and so greek is my first language i didn't speak english until i was five and so english is my second language am i doing okay just wondering so um and so i i grew up uh in a very staunch greek orthodox home and uh you know you know i tell people like i'm a greek orthodox mother's nightmare because you know a greek mom likes you to kind of get married at three have kids at four great grandkids at five it's like you know once they give birth to a girl there's like there's a lean mean birthing machine but you know i i'm a nightmare because i did not marry until i was 30 i didn't have a baby till i was 35 and i'm a pentecostal preacher it does not get any worse for my mother she's like what did i do wrong but anyway and i grew up in a place called sydney australia anyone been to sydney a few of you nashvillians not many you all don't get out much do you okay so anyone want to come to sydney it is the promised land if you ever uh get an opportunity to come you've got to come in the last four years we've moved actually to america so we kind of reside between both so we live in newport beach california and um and so my kids come home and they pledge allegiance to the american flag and um they say really weird things like awesome and um it's like like whose womb did you come out of and so this is actually how you speak the queen's english you say awesome and that's how the queen you know she sent out convicts to the colonies that's where i'm from and um we say awesome so i want you all to say awesome you sound so dignified okay one more time that's fantastic now say it like an american it's just out there in the atmosphere you can do what you want with that awesome okay i better turn to the text because you might get a little bit nervous why don't you turn with me to the book of exodus chapter it's my honor and privilege so many of you have been tweeting uh and instagramming and um i just you've been so gracious uh making me feel so welcome before i even got here and i love it a whole crew of you came out when we were doing the chat with priscilla with uh paige and the life which i don't even know where you all are there you are okay yes um and so you're all like my best friends because i love people being really nice so tweet really nice things okay not the controversial things just the nice things and um i've got my friend lisa harper here in the front row who i love with a passion do we all love lisa harper you all just need to welcome her because she is like a gun and i know she's been here before me so she kind of just paved the way uh why don't you turn with me i hope you're in exodus chapter eight wherever you go is okay the whole bible's good but you know i'm gonna personally be reading from exodus eight feel free to read what you want it's it's easy scripture says then the lord said to moses go to pharaoh and say to him this is what the lord says let me just pause for a minute before i jump in here and dive we're talking about freedom you're going to hear a lot about that over the next little bit of time and for those of you that don't know my husband and i oversee a global anti-trafficking and human trafficking initiative called the a21 campaign which we founded five years ago and is now operational in 10 office 10 countries around the world 12 officers in 10 countries and god has been so gracious to us i didn't know what i was doing you're going to find out about that a little bit later on i had no clue when the lord arrested my attention and really turned my heart towards this issue but how many know that what is impossible with man is possible with god we've got all things are possible and nothing is impossible with god and i went from a chick that didn't even know how to spell human trafficking uh five years ago to last year alone we had 35 traffickers around the world put in jail over uh over a thousand years fines and then we had hundreds of girls rescued and and god has just done amazing things so you're going to hear all about that so let me give a little bit of context slavery is not a new issue um un says there's about 30 million slaves on the earth today and um it's an abomination and you know slavery never went away but i'm picking up in a period of time when slavery was prevalent the children of israel god's children were trapped in slavery and they were in bondage in egypt so they're in physical slavery under pharaoh uh taskmaster and and all his his uh little minions that basically used to just beat and um and keep the children of israel in captivity so in the midst of all of this for 430 years the children of israel have been crying out to god to set them free so we pick up in a portion of the bible where god in order to soften pharaoh's heart who is the big deal guy that can let them all go he is the lord sends ten plagues um to egypt in order to soften pharaoh's hearts so that the children of israel will be set free so just to give you a little bit of context and we're picking up in one of those plagues right here and so this is where it all goes so then the lord said to moses go to pharaoh and say to him this is what the lord says let my people go so that they may worship me if you refuse to let him go i will plague your whole country with frogs now you know if you're into this place and you think god is boring you just really need to read the bible because i often wonder like what does god all three of him up there in heaven what do they do do they sit down and say what plague will we send today um frogs i mean you only have to be god to think of frogs because it's just like really abstract it's just out there i just kind of go how do you decide what are the ten things out of all the things you create are you gonna send frogs okay i hate frogs i would hate frogs so that's okay frogs is a good plague so then it goes do you ever think about this because we kind of really like a fairy tale but it freaks me out frogs and it gets worse check this out i mean i don't like god is just so funny then here we go the nile will team with frogs they will come up into your palace and your bedroom and onto your bed now that is not attractive it just kills intimacy into the houses of your officials and on your people and into your ovens and kneading troughs now that would not really concern me because i never opened my oven but anyway so i imagine that for some of you all in the south that would be a problem the frogs will go up on you and your people and all your officials then the lord said to moses tell aaron stretch out your hand with your staff over the streams and canals and ponds and make frogs come up on the land of egypt it's just hilarious so aaron stretch out his hand over the waters of egypt and the frogs came up and covered the land but the magicians did the same thing by their secret art so they made frogs come up on the land of egypt pharaoh summoned moses and aaron and said pray to the lord to take the frogs away so it's obvious that mrs farrow had come to mr pharaoh and complained because the only thing worse than a plague of frogs is a nagging wife so it's evident that he could not cope with that so he says um to take the frogs away from me my people and i will let your people go to offer sacrifices to the lord moses said to pharaoh i leave to you the honor of setting the time for me to pray for you and your officials and your people that you and your houses may be rid of the frogs except for those that remain in the nile tomorrow pharaoh said moses replied it will be as you say so that you may know there is no one like the lord our god the frogs will leave you and your houses your officials your people they will remain only in the nile after moses and aaron left pharaoh moses cried out to the lord about the frogs he had brought on pharaoh and the lord did what moses asked the frogs died in the houses in the courtyards and in the fields they were piled into heaps and the land reeked of them i bet you feel so encouraged that you came out today don't you here is such an abstract story so here we have the children of israel in bondage and slavery for 430 years crying out to god to set them free god goes to soften pharaoh's heart of all things with a plague of frogs now how bizarre is this because this land was plagued i mean everywhere you went there were frogs they were in the bedroom they were in the bathroom they were in the laundry they were down the street they were in the chariots they were in the in the kitchen everywhere you went here a frog there a frog everywhere there were frogs everywhere and so finally pharaoh can't stand this anymore because wherever he went wherever he looked he was just inundated with frogs his people were inaudible with frogs so he comes to moses finally and he says all right moses i want you to talk to that god of yours and you just tell him i will give him what he wants i will set those people free if he just gets rid of those frogs and so moses says awesome god can get rid of the frogs god wants to get rid of the frogs god is willing to get rid of the frogs well able to get rid of the frogs i'm just asking you pharaoh when would you like me to tell god to get rid of the frogs and then for me one of the strangest verses of scripture in the bible just gets dropped in there in exodus chapter 8 verse 10 when pharaoh turns around and he says tomorrow tomorrow god is able to get rid of the frogs now god is willing to get rid of the frogs now god wants to get rid of the frogs now i have to ask this question ladies what on earth would implore this man to want to spend one more night with those frogs but i haven't come all the way from across the country today to ask why pharaoh all of that time theologians have got their own reasons as to why they think pharaoh said tomorrow but my issue and my question to every one of you from the front row here to the top up there is what are the frogs that are in you on you around you that you've carried with you that god is willing to get rid of god is able to get rid of god is able to free you from and you carry into your tomorrow you sit here and you listen to sermon after sermon some of you have been in church life for years some for decades and there are frogs that are in you on you around around you frogs of shame frogs of guilt frogs of condemnation frogs of jealousy insecurity fear doubt lust addictions and you listen to sermon after sermon and you come to meeting after meeting and you do bible study after bible study but somewhere along the line you think you know what i really agree with what they just said i really agree with what i just read i really agree with what we just prayed about and i'm going to do something about that but i'm going to do something about it tomorrow and we think because we've decided that we're going to do something about it tomorrow that we've actually done something about it and then 10 20 30 years later we're still doing the same old laps around the same old mountains of fear and doubt and insecurity and jealousy and lust and guile and envy and greed and gossip and slander and shame and guilt and condemnation and bound up that we just keep living with those frogs that keep us bound and we never walk out of slavery into freedom to do what god has called us to do how often do we start with you know what i i know that that i how many of you started this year how many resolutions do we make this is the year that i'm gonna go to the gym every morning at six o'clock and that first morning the alarm goes off you're up you're in that gym you go on every machine that exists the second morning you go in you can't move but by the third morning the alarm goes off you press that thing you go get there behind me satan and you go i'll just have another snooze and i'll go to the gym tomorrow i know i've got to have better eating habits so i'm going to get really healthy with my eating habits but i'm going to start tomorrow i know that my marriage has got a whole lot of issues and problems and challenges but we're going to get some help but we're just going to do it tomorrow i know that i need to deal with this addiction it's kind of gotten out of hand and i really going to do something about it but i'm going to do something about it tomorrow and i could go on and on and on i know i need to study that course and you know and i'm going to enroll and i'm going to go to college but i'm going to start it tomorrow i know i really should start reading my bible bible and having a great devotional life and i'm going to start doing it but i'm going to start doing it tomorrow and what happens is most of us never step into tomorrow because we live in a constant today and a constant yesterday so many of us bring the issues of our yesterday into our today and because we will not deal without yesterday today we never step into tomorrow because when you wake up tomorrow guess what day it is today so the only day we ever have is today so unless you decide to deal with your stuff today your today is going to be your eternal tomorrow you're never going to step into the tomorrow that god has for you jeremiah 29 11 the lord says for i know the plans i have for you declares the lord guess what they are plans for good and not for evil plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you a future and a hope but so many never step into that future in a hope because their life is one long yesterday lived in today and never stepping into tomorrow because we refused to deal with yesterday today and until we until we deal with yesterday today we'll never step into tomorrow now our tomorrow is full of freedom our tomorrow is full of promise our tomorrow is full of hope our tomorrow is where our destiny and our purpose is but so many of us don't step into it because we live in one eternal yesterday one eternal past pain some teacher said you're dumb you're stupid you'll never amount to anything and that we have just carried into us into our today all the time someone abused you someone violated you someone hurt you an ex-spouse an ex-lover walked out on you perhaps you of your own volition did some stuff and you live in the guilt and the regret and the condemnation of that and you did something and it happened maybe 5 10 15 20 years ago maybe someone said something over your life perhaps 5 10 15 20 years ago you two wrote a great song once called stuck in a moment it says you've got to get yourself together you got stuck in a moment and now you can't get out of it and many of us have gotten stuck in a moment of guilt a moment of shame a moment of condemnation a moment of fear a moment of doubt a moment of insecurity a moment of greed a moment of gluttony a moment of something that has defined every other moment of our life because we refuse to deal with that moment and get healing and get restoration and get breakthrough and so we never actually ever move forward we exist in today we don't live the abundant life that jesus spoke about in john 10 10 we never step into the promise and the purpose and the destiny that jesus christ has us on earth for because we are consumed with the frogs of yesterday you know i could easily be one of those people my life in itself is a is a testimony to the grace of god but at some point i had to make a decision i was going to deal with the frogs in my you didn't have anybody that had more frogs than me in their life i was consumed with shame with guilt with fear with doubt with insecurity with lust with greed with envy with god there wasn't anything in the list that you could choose that i did not have but you see a lot of us we get used to our frogs they get really cute ribbit ribbit we get used to that and we don't know who we would be without our little frog so we almost don't want to deal with it because we prefer to wear the cloak of victimhood than to walk in the responsibility of freedom and so i honestly believe that's why a lot of us don't deal with our stuff because when you're free you are responsible to live the life that god created you to live when you're a victim you can blame everyone else for why you're not living the life that god called you to live before you think i'm too hard let me give you a little bit of my own story i was born i told you in sydney australia and you know very very marginalized because of my ethnicity growing up greek in australia before my big fat greek wedding was not cool and so we were extremely i mean i'm talking to the point where we had to put bars on the windows of our house we would have graffiti across our house almost every day my brother's beaten there was such a stigma with being second generation migrants from from europe i could tell you the most derogatory names we were called every day that i could think of in my whole growing up life simply because we came from a different country so very marginalized because of my ethnicity in a culture that demeaned women you know it was not like a culture that that you know really encouraged women to to aspire to anything great and uh i also grew up in the poorest zip code in my state the third poorest zip code in the nation of australia in government assisted housing because that's kind of what you did with the migrants you just put them in those poor areas and didn't resource them and then sort of expected them to fend for themselves that's where i i grew up in pretty much every week of my life from the time i was uh three years old until the time i was about 15 i was sexually abused by four men almost weekly well several times a week for at least 12 years do you know how much that messes with you that messes with every part of your being i never went from one stage of development to the other in any healthy way there was developmental wounding throughout my entire life and i'd built a lot of defense mechanisms in order to cope with the pain and the trauma of what i had gone through i was a young woman that was so full of guilt so full of shame so full of hurt so full of fear so full of insecurity i had frogs all over me and then two weeks before my 33rd birthday i got a phone call from my then 35 year old brother george so i was about to turn 33 i had a younger brother andrew 30. my older brother george was 35 because when you're greek all your brothers are george nico spiro you know they're just kind of con and so um george calls me and he said christine i just got a letter from the government department and it says that i've been adopted now i laughed when he told me that because you know when you're growing up you never think you're related to your siblings and you always tell your siblings that your mother's from mars we're not related but you know when they call you and tell you this is true you just suddenly defend them and so all of a sudden i'm like no george obviously the department of community services has made some kind of administrative error make sure you call them and then call me back and so george calls me back about 10 minutes later but ladies this time he is sobbing and he said chris it's true they told me the name of my biological mother they told me the name of my biological father they told me when i was born they told me when i was immunized they have an entire file on my life okay so at this point i have a job that you see with things i'm thinking this is crazy my family has a 35 year secret that none of us knew so i jumped in the car to go to my mother's house immediately because george said i'm going to see mum and i don't know if you know anything about greeks but they are highly volatile they act first and think later and um my father died when i was 19. so i'm thinking that my brother literally could explode and who knows what's going to happen my mom at the time was 61. i'm thinking she's had this secret for 35 years nobody knows what's going on i jump in the car i raced to my mother's house and i got there just at the moment that my brother was giving my mother this piece of paper this document from the government department now my mum took it and in that moment ladies i just saw this moment of hesitation over her eyes i went oh my word this is true my mum starts bawling and she said george i'm so sorry all of the adoptions in australia 30 years ago 35 years ago they were all closed adoptions we never thought you would find out and before your father died the last thing i promised him was that i would never tell you so i tore up all of the paperwork and i threw it away now ladies you got to imagine this is like a 35-year family secret being unveiled and in that moment it was just like you know my mother was crying my brother was crying the dog was crying snot was flying i mean you know it was a big fat greek moment you just got to imagine it i didn't know what to do so i went to the kitchen to kind of get some baklava and coffee that's what you do when you greek you're just food food solves everything and so i go in my mother follows me about five minutes later she looks at me and she goes christina since we're telling the truth some of you were there do you want to know the whole truth now you've got to imagine i'm two weeks out from my 33rd birthday and i don't even know why i said this initially i went i've been adopted too and with two streaming down her face my mother just starts crying girls i was stunned so stunned that um you know for the first few minutes i i didn't even say anything which in and of itself is a miracle greater than the resurrection of jesus so i didn't say anything from it and then my mum this is the first thing that i said when i finally spoke i went am i still greek and the reason i asked that was because i was called a lot of names at school and i wanted to know there was a reason for all of that persecution but anyway so that was my first question am i still greek then the very next thing that came out of my mouth right there in my greek orthodox mother's kitchen while my brother's having a breakdown so i had found christ and was teaching the word i'm now two weeks out from my 33rd birthday so being rooted and grounded in the truth of the word that if had i got that news maybe 10 years before when i didn't know christ i would have unraveled probably like my brother but the fact that the word had taken root in my life then in that moment the very first thing that came out of my mouth right there in my greek orthodox mother's kitchen right there i just looked her and i said oh well mum before i was formed in my mother's womb whose ever wound that was he knew me he knitted together my innermost parts he fashioned all of my days before as yet there was one of them i am fearfully and wonderfully made and ladies that day every fact that i thought to be true about my life changed what my name was where i was born when our every fact changed and to this night i still don't know the facts surrounding my conception i don't know if i was a result of a one-night stand i don't know if i was a result of some ongoing adulterous affair i don't know if i was the result of a rape but although i don't know the facts there is a force on the planet much higher than the facts and it's called the truth of the word of god and ephesians chapter 2 verse 10 does not say that i am the workmanship of a rape it doesn't say that on the workmanship of an adulterous affair it says that we are his workmanship recreated in christ jesus for good works that god prepared beforehand that we should walk in them it's not that god was taken by surprise that day just because i was it's not that he was sitting on his truck oh my god no i am god all three of me i'm having an existential crisis oh no oh no gabriel did you know christine was adopted why peter why did you not tell me he was not up there freaking out his sovereignty wasn't at stake sometimes we act like god's freaked out just because i didn't know didn't mean god didn't know just because i found that out then didn't mean that god's plan for my life had changed just because some men abused me didn't mean that god's divine plan and purpose for my life changed see you and i are not a product of time we're a product of eternity god has plucked us out of eternity he has positioned us in time and he's given us gifts and talents for the purpose of serving our generation so when the lord saw that the enemy before i even got on this planet when i was still in my mother's womb the enemy sent an assignment to still kill and destroy my life when that didn't work he sent another assignment into my bedroom when i was three years old and continued that assignment until my mid-teens so that did not thwart my destiny ultimately it damaged me it put me in bondage it put me in shackles it put me in chains it caused deep damage but this is the whole point of our faith god looked at his son jesus and said jesus i've got a purpose for christine and all of humanity so jesus would you go down to earth would you die on a cross and shed your blood and rise again from the dead so that christine and all of humanity can have not only forgiveness for their past but a brand new life and a hope for the future you see girls if we actually lived like this stuff was true you wouldn't just marvel at my life you'd understand that this is called the normal christian life i once was lost but now i'm found i once was in bondage but now i'm free i once was broken but now i'm whole that's called a normal christian life it's what jesus does the most potent force on the earth when it comes to free you don't have to live with those frogs forever you just choose to you just choose to don't tell me that the blood of jesus is not strong enough to set you free from what has kept you bound the most potent force on the planet ladies it's not some cruise missile it's not some nuclear bomb it's not sending some man to the moon the most potent force on the planet always wasn't always will be the blood of jesus christ it sets people free it sets people free and continues to set us free today [Applause] and so i was full of frogs rejection fear doubt but jesus came and wouldn't it be just like him not only to set me free but then to use my life to set other people's free see that's what god's into the redemption business the spirit of the lord god is upon us because we heard the text spread out during worship because there's a because to our faith there's a because at the a21 campaign we wear bands that say because because there is a because to our faith and the enemy would love to steal kill and destroy and keep us in bondage but i'm living proof that you can start bad and finish good in and through a relationship with jesus christ i am living proof that this stuff is free and i'm telling you it's for freedom the christ set us free galatians chapter 5 verse 1 tells us it's for freedom the christ set us free not just to be delivered from our sin from our bondage and live in the wilderness and die so many christians are doing laps around mount sinai in the wilderness the children of israel could come out and go into the wilderness they were delivered but not free freedom is in the promised land and so many of us do laps around the same old mountains same old mountains of fear same old mountains of doubt same old mountains of insecurity of lust of greed of envy of god of pain because of something that happened and then we look at people like me and think well you know what christine's just got a different personality the blood of jesus is not dependent on personality profiles it does not matter where you fit on the disc survey it doesn't matter what your strength fighter is it doesn't matter what your love language is the blood of jesus permeates all of that it's for freedom that christ set us free the issue is are you going to believe it how many more nights are you going to spend with your frogs but see we we love to we love our frogs we get used to that noise and when everyone treats us like a victim then that excuses our sin and iniquity and we makes us feel comfortable i can be angry some of you your husbands are paying for something they never did to you but someone else did your children are paying for stuff that they never did to you because you refuse to get free see it doesn't just impact you it impacts the generations that are to come after you but we just run around and we just run around without issues now you don't think you've got any issues but i just need to ask your best friend and she'll tell me how many you've got oh they just walk around and they're just like you know shh don't say that because that'll set her off don't tip down around that because that'll set her off oh you know she's just got an issue we don't like to call things sin anymore because that really offends people in our secularized privatized pluralized postponed 21st century we just like to have problems we don't have sin adultery is not a sin it's just a problem you know we just have lots of problems it's amazing to me if we just called it what it was then we could appropriate the right anecdote which is the blood of jesus christ and set us free let's call it what it is let's call it what it is so that jesus can set us free because we're trying to medicate something we need deliverance from we're trying to excuse something that jesus came to just absolutely obliterate you can walk in freedom did everything that happened to me was it good of course it wasn't good but this is what i'm living proof of the abuse the abandonment the adoption that god has worked those things and woven them together for good into a tapestry of his grace i feel like joseph now that stood in front of his brothers in genesis chapter 50 verse 20 and he said to them you meant this for evil against me but god meant it for this very purpose to save many people alive what the enemy meant for evil against me is the very thing that god is using to rescue god not only rescued me but now he's using me to turn around and open the prison doors and rescue others the enemy's not just after you and keeping you bound he doesn't want you to get free so that you won't set other people free the freedom is not just about us it's about the generations that are to come after us you know i was preaching in um in england and i was in a place called bedworth which is next to a place called stratford-upon-avon i'm an english major and so um i studied shakespeare for years at university and so because i was near stratford-upon-avon i thought i would go and visit willie and so i went to willie's house but he wasn't there but across the road from willie's house there was this genealogy shop you know where you put in the computer and it gives you spits out a genealogy chart of where you come from now i'm married to nick kane so he's good british stock and this was when uh charlie was going to marry camille prince charles and so i you know us aussies were just like to say charles and so me and charlie best friends and so um charlie was gonna marry camille and i was so pumped because i thought i bet you nick is really related to royalty i bet you he's a baron or a knight and he's got all of these estates set up and um and i bet you that i could get an invitation to the royal wedding if i could just prove that i'm part of the lineage of charlie and so i put it in right and i'm not joking i'm expecting like like royalty this is no joke what it spits out on the chart it spits out kane and then it's got this list of all these names and it's got convicts pirates criminals murderers like no joke they were like part of the people that were sent out to australia on boats for all of that so i start laughing because i'm going down i'm going man great bloodline here i married good stock good british stock here convicts awesome and so then i started to think about my bloodline and i thought well what do i got on my side incest and adultery and fornication and abandonment and rejection and abuse and addictions and i thought we can do nothing to change the past that past will never change it is what it is but this is the potency and the power of the gospel of jesus christ that our world desperately needs we get so obsessed by the past we define our entire lives by the past and everything about the gospel is future focus jesus is out there and so i can't change any of that but i thought about imagine when my kids when my kids start to unwrap this and they go into a genealogy shop one day and they start to unpack all this deal they're not going to be able to change that past because they're going to see on their dad's side here it is convicts and criminals and pirates and crime and violence and over this side incest and adultery and fornication and addictions and abuse and all that junk and then all of a sudden though as they're looking through because they can't change that it will always be there then they're going to see 30th of march 1996. nicholas joseph kane marries holy ghost terrorist christine kane and then all of a sudden ladies everything's changed you can't change what was before that but you could change everything that comes after that you can change the future because on the 30th of march 1996 nick and i drew a bloodline in the sand and we said guess what with us adultery stops with us divorce stops with us addiction stops with us abuse stops with us it stops not just for our generation but the generations that are to come after us the decisions you make to deal with your frogs are not just about you but the generations that are to come after you what are you spending one more night with what frogs are you saying it is okay because it just doesn't affect you it affects the generations well christine that's just my issue the bible is full of people who are defined by their issue but you shouldn't be defined and we shouldn't be defined by our issues we're supposed to be defined by who we are in christ we're seated in heavenly places in christ that is our position we're not fighting for what jesus has already obtained for us we're fighting from where we sit to have victory where we are and so i don't know what your issue is you have the woman with the issue of blood in the scripture we don't know her name but we know her issue we have the demoniac we don't know his name but we know his issue we have the mute man the dumb man we know their issue and not their name you don't want to be a woman who is defined by your issue you want to be defined by who you are in christ and there comes a time where you say i will deal with my issue so that i can wear my new identity in christ that i am a brand new creation ladies i stand before you today not as some ex-abused victim not as some ex-abandoned adopted chick i stand before you as a brand new creation in christ jesus and it's for freedom that christ set me free it's for freedom that christ set me free and it's for freedom that christ sets you free pharaoh ask moses can you get rid of these frogs and i'm asking you at the end of our first session exactly the same question that moses asked pharaoh i'm asking you when do you want to deal with your frogs are you going to spend one more night with that frog or are you going to hand it over to the only one that can deliver you from that freedom from that bondage from that shame from that guilt from that addiction and there comes a point where we say you know what god i'm not playing games because you cannot set anyone else free if you're not free if i kept if i stayed in that bondage if i stayed in that prison then i'm telling you there would be no way i'm doing what i'm doing today and i bet you every morning i give the devil a headache when i wake up i guarantee you he wishes that he left me alone i go every time when i get a report from our foreign officers and a trafficker goes to jail or a girl is rescued i think devil you could take that and stick that in your pipe and smoke it and i bet you because you might have taken 12 years from me but you know what this year i'm 48 which means i have not been being abused for 36 years i will not allow 12 years to define my entire life on this earth i've not been being abused for a whole lot longer than i have been being abused and i'm going to spend the rest of my life making him pay and some of you is come after you and he has come to try to steal kill and destroy your future but greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world and you might think chris i am barely making it but i'm here to tell you that the devil on his best day didn't take you out on your worst day you are still here you are still alive there is still a future there is still a hope there is still a purpose there is still a destiny it is not too late [Applause] we've got two minutes left if the band is here i don't know where you are but can you come up i don't know if your baptists do this but you can come up anyway i found my inner baptist today i love you all so much so much we got you are the rest of you coming it's awesome i'll tell you why because i don't want to freak anyone out but the holy spirit's here and you might wonder why i'm so passionate about this you can't have grown up like i did in such bondage and have encountered the life and liberty that is to be found in christ and want to settle for anything less for anyone else this is not a game to me girls this is not i'm not like some christian speaker you know those things this is what a speaker is see this this is a speaker you won't find anywhere in corinthians or in romans where we have ministry gifts listed christian speaker there's a christian i encountered jesus christ this stuff is real i'm 48 by the grace of god this year married to the same man for 18 years two kids that thus far love jesus how i can even be remotely functional is a miracle how we could be serving god let alone running one of the largest anti-trafficking organizations in the world [Music] this is real jesus is real and it's for freedom that christ came to set us free why live in bondage [Music] why spend one more night with those frogs when you can be free tonight make a decision to let go of the cloak of victimhood who cares whose fault it is you have the opportunity for freedom you not forgiving is not going to make it any better or change anything but it keeps you bound worse than me being abused for 12 years is carrying those abusers into my future every day through bitterness and unforgiveness i had to let go for me some of you tonight you gotta let go that's the only way you're gonna step forward you've gotta allow christ some of you need to bring to jesus christ that addiction that affair some of you are in adultery you want to get out you do or you wouldn't be sitting here but you're going to make up your mind not one more night with that frog you got to bring it before god and then you need to get some help [Music] some of you have got porn addictions some of you the gossip and the slander and the lying the shame and the guilt and the condemnation and those frogs are killing you and it's for freedom christ to set you free you take two steps forward five steps back tonight why don't you make a decision there is nothing that you've done that god cannot forgive there is nothing that you're currently trapped in the middle of that god cannot set you free there's no pit that you are in that is too deep for jesus to be able to come down and reach out and pull you out but you've got to get honest you've got to not walk out of here and say tomorrow you've got to say today i want every head bowed in every eye closed wherever you are that song in christ alone [Music] in our 21st century man we have every medication available to man we have psychology we have psychotherapy all of it is good but only ultimate freedom is found in and through a relationship with jesus christ so for those of you from the front to the back from the left to the right right now what i'm actually going to ask you is if you've got the courage to say i'm not going to spend one more night with my frog i don't know what those frogs may be it's between you and god i'm not going to ask what and some of you it's not just acknowledging it here from here you're going to have to go and talk to someone and get some help but until you actually make the decision you're never going to take the next step so this is what i'm going to ask you to do while every head's bad while every eye's closed [Music] if you say i christine the holy spirit's quickening to my heart some frogs i need to let go of forgiveness unforgiveness bitterness anger guile lust greed envy addictions i don't know what but i'm not going to carry my past into my future anymore and i'm willing to let jesus deal with that area of my life this is what i'm going to ask you to do wherever you are i'm just going to ask you to stand to your feet for a moment i'm just going to pray over you wherever you are i'm not here to play games girls i'm believing that the holy spirit's going to set people free i can see women standing everywhere i'm going to give you 10 seconds and that's it you either want to get free or you don't i can't beg for this to happen there are hundreds of you standing that's it just stand there i'm not going to ask what this is you and jesus and until you don't care until you care more about what jesus thinks than the lady sitting next to you then you're just going to keep going round the mountain at some point you've got to think i don't care what anyone thinks but what god thinks it's for freedom the christ set me free hundreds of you standing it's wonderful if you're able and if you're comfortable to raise your hands to jesus just as a sign of surrender i want you to do that right where you are and just for 15 seconds i want you to bring that thing or those many things before jesus you put them at the foot of his cross i can't do this for you only you can do this [Music] lord your girls are so faithful hundreds of them standing saying i don't want to be bound anymore and jesus you came to set us free [Music] not deliver us but to set us free so father every woman represents a life represents a family represents a future represents a destiny and i pray lord in the name of jesus christ that she would walk out of here free in jesus name no more chained or shackled or bound by that thing that has sought to keep her in prison and father we just plead the blood of jesus over every circumstance over every life lord i ask for healing deliverance freedom life liberty father in the name of jesus lord that each of these women will not allow the past to define their future but that your word would define that future for them it's for freedom that you set us free so lord even now i come against fear and doubt insecurity condemnation guilt shame anger bitterness style envy greed lust in the name of jesus christ of nazareth that name that is above every other name father your word says not by my nor by power but by your spirit so holy spirit have your way in this room and let freedom reign let freedom reign
